Im not sure if you experienced an outage of thr site but I’ve been without for about 8 hours …
If anyone has any idea about a contingency plan for an alternative set up should this site go permanently – it woukd be good to share…
As for the failing states ‘ current situation – the frankly deranged false unelected PM is now touting rejoining the Reich EU as though the votes of this tens of millions meant nothing
The next time a politician spouts about ‘British democracy ‘ – try not to laugh – there isn’t one …. And he even wants to fiddle the corrupt version we are suffering now

How about a Facebook group.
You could put on here the name of the group. It can be something cryptic if you want, even called Fedup3 and we could all look for it and join as friends.
It would only be used if this site disappeared and would be a place to reconnect and join whatever new forum replaces this site.
Possibly, like what happened today, a post could be put up if necessary.
Only a suggestion and maybe someone on here could improve this basic idea.

Times Radio is reliably, viscerally, anti-Trump…if Trump has done something then it must be bad bad bad.
Trump has been sacking generals and admirals much to the dislike of one [retired] General Randy Manners…a National guard General who ran stores during the Iraq War. Times knows full well he is a never Trumper and as always people like him are the default choice for an interview….and he didn’t let them down.
It started off averagely negative…Trump and Hegseth being racist, sexist and ideological, but soon went rapidly down the rabbit hole, rabid hole maybe, and descended in to a full frothed mad rant comparing the sacking of generals to Hitler killing them in WW2 and Stalin sending them to the Gulags…Trump and Hegseth are a ‘clear and present danger to the national security of the United States’…curiously Jon Pienaar[ex BBC] didn’t raise a single doubt or quibble about the tone and direction of thought…obviously just what Times wanted.
Most of the people removed from office were woke appointees put in place by Biden as political placemen and women charged with making the Forces more inclusive and woke…thus this was ‘ideological’ and racist/sexist whilst Trump is trying to return normality and integrity and combat efficiency to the Forces rather than showcasing DEI.
Naturally we didn’t get a single voice to counter Manner’s madness…but that is the Times these days with things Trump or indeed Farage.
Officers need to engender respect from the troops…this won’t cut it…

I was working in Germany when they swapped the DM to the euro (changed overnight) was that everything became more expensive.
The euro and DM seemed similar. I think it was something like 1 euro was about 1.5 DM but where something costed 1DM its new price was 1euro.
A beer costing DM4 would cost 3 euro or more and if you queried it they said the suppliers put their prices up.
All in all, the shops etc made a lot because of the changeover so you can imagine how all our shops and services will get a big profit from the confusion.
That’s just one very small effect of the politicians taking us back into the eu.
