Yea I had the misfortune to watch this, on breakfast. They obviously now think they are all round entertainers. It’s just embarrassing. There is another word you could use….(insert your word here..). Plus this song is crap, repeat happy many many times. Why am I paying for this?
Funny that Soccer AM on Sky Sports did a similar video using the same tune 4 days ago. Obviously the creative juices at the bBC have dried up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HltbZs0W-GM
Or just staff reaction at how the Trust resolved the poorly invested and under performing pension shortfall by simply transferring funds for programming across to make it up?
I felt a tinge of guilt watching this video. My dog recently appeared in nearby studios and after a long car journey relieved himself on the steps the man was sitting on. I do hope his trousers were not stained.
Making ‘Happy’ videos is a global craze. Just check out Pharrell Williams Happy on YouTube for dozens of examples.
There’s an excellent Tel Aviv one. The Iranians apparently arrested those responsible for the Teheran version.
Given the resources available to the BBC this one is a particularly unpolished example of the genre.

Don’t be too hard on them, it is just unspoken solidarity with those m-word people in Iran.
There seem to be an awful lot of them…
43 seconds.
43 seconds was as much as I could stand
16 seconds was my lot… Who are these people anyway?
Painful…..
And not even funny…..
Is that Ian Katz’ new Newsnight ident?

Fingers (or hooves, in my case) firmly down my throat. For God’s sake, WHY?
Ah, your licence money – extorted from you with menaces – hard at work, eh?
If there were loudspeakers outside playing Bach or Mozart it might scare them away.
