JUNK SCIENCE FROM THE BBC..

A Biased BBC read brought this to my attention;

BBC Breakfast are coming in for a lot of flack due to their feature on Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis which included a consultant putting the blame on junk food and anti-biotics but then ignoring and talking over representatives of the Crohn’s and Colitis UK charity.

Unless you know Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis is caused by the bodies own defence system attacking itself, this was not made clear and people have been angered by the ignorance of the BBC presenters who seem to have ignored this fact. Unfortunately I can’t find a recording on the BBC iPlayer site but hope you may have one. The facebook response of some people can be read here.

Until the iPlayer is located we can only have you at your word, and doubtless the circling Agent Staffel is straining at the first errant opinion.
However the BBC does have some form in this.
Interesting the top trumps hierarchy between medicos they like and charities they seem less keen on this time.
Looking at the FB page it is certainly perceived by others as reported and BBC CECUTT now in for a rocky run.
The responses garnered at various stages will be interesting if shared.
The sufferers seem offside enough not to accept the usual half-dozen stages of blow off.
Wish them well if ‘good luck with that’.
Shame there could not be a BBC complaints complementing version of this:

So at least the exchanges and replies, or denials, can be open to public scrutiny.

The lady who questions the BBC ‘expert’ is Rachael Flint. BBC Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUFFOOU1ZsE
She is critical of the BBC ‘expert’ who claims it about Junk food….

I wonder if Newsnight is sharpening up its meanest blonde harpie (a tough call) to invite Ms. Flint on to share, but actually fillet?
On the positive side of things, by adopting new SOP and assuming the direct opposite of BBC education and information and going off to find out more, I am now much more aware of this awful disease, causes and symptoms.

There was atime when people would check what their presenters are saying. This example tells me that the BBC is simply pursuing tabloid journalism in its breakfast shows.

Lord Reith said it was the BBC’s mission to “educate, inform and entertain.”

That’s 2 out of 3 down the drain.

I would have said that’s 3 out of 3 down the drain, but perhaps that’s just me being curmudgeonly.

For the left-wing morons at the BBC, the important point is that they want to be consulted by a consultant telling them that it is caused by junk food, just as they wanted those art experts masquerading as scientists to tell them that climate change is caused by carbon atoms.

So the response of the BBC would be to censor scientific facts, either by talking over people or more likely not inviting them in the first place.
