A good essay. It sometimes seems as if the liberal has forgotten that civilisation is always in peril. That our comfortable life in the West is not guaranteed.
We will eventually have to fight for it.
      That is inevitable.
It is the turn of the world if you like.
      Isis is just the beginning.
It is nothing much to do with the past , our supposed guilt over Empire, our failure to do this or that for the world outside Europe.
It is just what happens. There is always a clash of peoples and cultures. When we grasp this reality we can start to prepare and put our world in order.
The danger is that our leaders are in denial or unable to comprehend what is going to happen.
I do not underestimate the driving force behind Isis. Neither do I wring my hands over their actions or even hate them.
But I would do what is necessary to defeat them .
And what that means none of us can know.
It will require all our will and our best people.

Genocide underway in the Middle East but the BBC is on the case with in-depth investigation and questions about the burning issue of just how many refugees are on that mountain. Here’s a thought for the planet-sized brains at the BBC – the situation is volatile, dangerous to investigate, and when people were fleeing for their lives taking a note of names and numbers was not the top priority. Just a thought ..

No – they went to university and met a couple of greasy, snake-tongued, Arab students at the union bar. They converted to Islam and became terrorist mules for those students, and by the end of the academic year, all four had disappeared into the wild blue yonder.

The latest news is that Emily had been arrested by Israeli forces in Gaza after they’d killed her boyfriend, and that Emma and her fella are directing an ISIS atrocity in Iraq.

“Yet now, here we are in the age of amusing cat videos on Buzzfeed, handwringing campaigns by poodle-haired pop stars to stop tuberculosis-ridden badgers being culled, and private emails being monitored lest they say anything mildly sexist, where suddenly, in certain sections of our own community, decapitation has become the new black. The contrast between Western liberal complacency and decadence – aka the post WWII ‘peace dividend’ – and the Medieval brutality of Islamism could scarcely be more jarring.
      Or indeed, more totally unsurprising.
“It’s not as though one or two commentators – Douglas Murray, for example – haven’t been warning us for years that this sort of thing was coming. And what has been our government’s response to this burgeoning enemy within? Why, to try to improve “social cohesion” by making token appointments like the beyond-useless Baroness Warsi – now happily resigned – in the risible belief that the mere presence of a Muslim (and not just any Muslim but a female – check – Northern – check – working class one – check) in the senior echelons of government would lead to a sudden outbreak of peace and light.
“You can imagine, can’t you, what an impact gestures like that will have had on hotheaded young Muslims in Bradford, Luton and Cardiff, fired up with the prospect of going to fight for the Umma with their AK, their must-have Adidas high-tops and their trusty decapitation knife? ”

How the leftwing bBC lies out of its back teeth in which to attack America whenever it can:
Could tensions over Ukraine hit space?
There are only 15 RD-180s (Russian sourced rocket engines) left in America’s stockpile, and if new sales were halted, it is estimated that critical defence and intelligence satellite missions could be delayed by up to four years while America tries to build a replacement propulsion system.

All doom and goom from the bBC, but hang on what this: Those 15 engines represent 2 years of launches.:
“The RD-180 sourcing plan was established over years of regulatory review once Lockheed Martin, which developed the Atlas V in the late 1990s, selected the engine as its propulsion system. To mitigate concerns about supply, the U.S. Air Force maintains a stockpile of roughly two years’ worth of engines, ULA CEO Mike Gass told lawmakers this month. The stockpile was approved as a change to the U.S. policy with regard to foreign sourcing in 2000.

    But there’s more:
“We hold a license to manufacture and deliver RD-180 engines,” says Matthew Bates, a spokesman for Pratt & Whitney, which formed a joint venture with Russian engine manufacturer NPO Energomash in 1997 called RD Amross….If Russia were to hold the RD-180 hostage, the Defense Department estimates it would need $1 billion over five years to establish production on U.S. soil.

And there’s more which the bbC isn’t telling you. Space X is a private company the bBC have reported on
Rocket firm Space X looks to Asia’s satellite market

That Space X which has sent a craft to resupply ISS (April 14)
Has over 40 contracts to launch sats into space for private and the DOD. Lastly the US has this:

Two doors down from me a friend who worked for social services caring for people unable to care for themselves, sometimes through age sometimes through disability.
Then they got a Muslim girl, and from all accounts a ‘religious’ (bigoted) uncle came to visit. He insisted the women staff cover their hair, the fridge only used for halal food, the bottle of baileys which one old dear used to enjoy had to go, and the staff were to only eat halal food.
The council immediately imploded and to the staff and residents to comply.
The neighbour went to the community relations which of course is run by Muslims for the benefit of Muslims, and refused to deal with her, so she went to a different town. They did deal with the case and began proceedings.
The senior council staff reacted as they only ever do when forced to and hauled the social services manager over the coals, all the stupid fascist rules relating to the staff were dropped, because they knew they would lose at court, but the poor old dear never did get her Baileys back.

Of course, for most people the UK is a state of anarchy where access to the law is very patchy if possible at all, and judges unpredictable, and biased when they think they might not be in line for a pension or a gong.
When people are able to use it though, the threat can be enough to make the stupid change their minds, just a shame that they’re prepared to break the law which their Fascist mates put in place for them.

    Here’s something:
During the bunfight between Israel and Hamas, the bBC reported on a daily basis how many people (All civilian by the way) due to the blood thirsty nature of the jew.
Yet in 3 days ISIS murdered over 2500 people, did anybody see a bBC report of this.
Everyday during the battle between Hamas and Israel, the bBC reported on the stark hardship experienced by people living under the yoke of Israel .
Yet when it comes to people living under ISIS they give us this:
Things in Mosul are very normal. People are going to work and there aren’t any problems. The only incident that I heard of was on Saturday when a plane dropped two missiles on an empty home. The owners had left Mosul two weeks ago. There is a petrol problem as there isn’t much fuel. Cars are queuing outside the petrol stations for hours as they only have enough fuel to operate for a few hours a day. The people here are ok with the fighters. The fighters have taken part in two marches since they came to the city. The last one was on Thursday and people were cheering for them. The fighters said that anyone from the army and the police would be set free if they gave up their weapons and announced their repentance. As a result, I have seen many former soldiers and police going to the mosques where the fighters are based to publicly repent. Most of the fighters are Iraqis from Mosul. There are some Isis fighters and they are mostly Arabs. I spoke to one of them and he said he was from Saudi Arabia. There are also fighters from Syria and Lebanon. The internet has been cut off from Mosul. That means our voice is blocked and we can’t show the truth to the World.

But the living conditions are better now than they used to be. Now all the roads are open and we can commute more easily. Before, the army used to close all the roads in one area and keep only one road open with a checkpoint that caused congestion. The road to my work used to take around 30 minutes now it takes me 5 minutes to get to work. I work in a restaurant and families are coming into the restaurant and you can see people walking in the street until midnight. The fighters are everywhere. They are organising the traffic and making sure that the vendors are not selling goods at high prices.
    Really

Today in Sheffield a pro Gaza protest turned to violence when Pakistani muslims brought out a Black Islamic flag. 2 Kurds took exception to this flag and beat up the Pakistani, of course, Plod being fucking hopeless in the Uk, they arrested the Kurds. They then reported:
A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: “The organisers of the demonstration were pro-Palestinian and were flying the Palestinian flag and a black flag bearing the Islamic declaration of faith. “This was mistaken for a flag representing the militant group Isis by some local Kurdish residents who took offence. The Gaza demonstrators were adamant no offence was meant. Overall, the demonstration was peaceful.”

Not only has the bBC not reported this, but the fucking British police have accepted what the lying Paksitani protesters have told them as the truth.

The BBC are using a misleading ONS press release to mislead the public about the massive cultural shift in the UK.

I have made the following complaint:

    Type of complaint:
BBC News (TV Radio and website)
    What is your complaint about:
    BBC News website
    URL:

    Complaint category:
    Factual error or inaccuracy
    Contacted us before:
    No
    Complaint title:
    Misleading use of statistics.
    Complaint description:
My complain is that your use of the ONS Press release: (http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/rel/vsob1/baby-names–england-and-wales/2013/stb-baby-names-2013.html) is misleading insofar as the most popular boy’s name in England and Wales is not Oliver, it is actually Mohammed, or a variant thereof. If you combine the entries for Mohammad, Mohammed and Muhammed, which are all variants of exactly the same name, you will discover 7445 examples, thereby making Mohammed (or variants) the number one most popular boy’s name in England and Wales. To leave out this information has allowed you to falsely present Oliver as the number one name in 2013, and to leave all the variants of Muhammad as distinctly different names which do not even make the top 10. However it is obvious that the three different spellings are of the exact same name and this massively distorts the huge cultural shift within British demographics, which is newsworthy in itself. When an Islamic name is regularly the number one most popular boys name, this shows a huge shift in cultural demographics which your audience MUST be made aware of.

There are at least 9 different spellings

      Muhamad

      Muhammad
      Muhammed
      Muhammet

Its not just the BBC, the Telegraph have done the same thing and surprise surprise no comments allowed and like the BBC online effort just a nice picture of Prince George.

The real story here is not that the name George didn’t make it to the top slot or that Oliver is ‘number one’ and as you rightly said its the rise of Islam.

With most of the highest paid journalists in the UK on their staff, they will obviously have spotted Muhammad variants total being about the most popular name, but BBC journalists have been recruited for their left leaning, not to adhere to the remit to report without fear or favour.

It is my understanding that ‘Mac’ or ‘Mc’, as now pervasive across the surnames of many a proud Scot, originated from who was the daddy or ran the ‘hood.
Be interesting if and when a few Gregors or Donalds around are found to be less popular in future due to ‘traditional practices’ prevailing North of the border.
But more crucially if any questions from surveys on odd analysis of this by the world’s most trusted broadcaster are deemed to prove nothing because some say so.

        • Albaman says:

          Your understanding is flawed.

“Mac is a prefix to surnames of Gaelic origin meaning “son”. For example, Macdhomhnuill translates to Macdonald, meaning son of Donald.

You may come across the feminine version Nc, an abbreviation of “nighean mhic” or “daughter of Mac”, attached to a woman’s surname, and sometimes further abbreviated to N’. There are many examples in the old parish registers, particularly in the 17th and 18th centuries, e.g. Ncfarlane, Ncdonald, Ncdearmit, Ncfee, but there are only isolated examples by the early 19th century.

In earlier records, a person might be known not only by the father’s name but also by the grandfather’s name. As such, you may come across the use of Vc, meaning grandson or granddaughter, for example, in 1673 Dugall Mcdugall Vcean (Dugall, son of Dugall, grandson of Ean) married Marie Camron or NcNdonochie Vcewn .

Some Mac surnames originated in occupations, e.g. Macnab (son of the abbott), Maccosh (son of the footman), Macmaster (son of the master or cleric), Macnucator (son of the wauker or fuller of cloth), later anglicised Walker. Others derive from distinguishing features, e.g. Macilbowie (son of the yellow haired lad), Macilchrum (son of the bent one). Yet others contain vestiges of Norse influence, e.g. Maciver (son of Ivar, a Norse personal name), since the Mac prefix was not the exclusive preserve of the Gaels, being adopted in some cases by the Norsemen and by some Lowland Scots, particularly on the Highland periphery, e.g. Macgibbon, Macritchie.

Many Mac surnames are no longer in use, e.g. Macolchallum, abandoned because they were too difficult to pronounce, corrupted over the years by phonetic spelling, or anglicised. ”

          http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/Content/Help/index.aspx?r=551&560

Now with the daily Ukrainian escalation of the death toll and even Russian troops clandestinely crossing the border, I suspect it is not long before the EU has opened up another disastrous front for us to be involved in.
Even the sanctions on Russia are already having a costly EU reverse affect, but the potential for this all to escalate beyond the amateur capabilities of the EU Foreign Policy is an enormous danger:

These days the BBC seems less associated with news than unravelling the spin behind it. Hardly meeting the ‘report the story; don’t be the story’ rule of one of their favoured sons, ironically.
Of course it is all in the fog of speculation and allegation and innuendo at present, so who knows where it may lead.
One is sure HIGNFY will have a funny, barbed, satirical comment to hand. Allegedly.
Or maybe UKIP will be the greater lure. Again.

Well, there we have it folks. The good ol’ BBC on their Muslim damage limitation propaganda… on the Six News, tonight, they even managed to find a couple of UK Muslims (who came across as about as convincing as Del Boy) who disapprove of Isis; an Imam, too, they filmed denouncing jihad – although he had a grimace on his face when he was speaking to his foul flock. The BBC also kept on calling those vermin scum from this country who support Isis as ‘British’. But we all know they’re not, and never will be. I hope now, that the BBC will be passing on details of these Muslim zealots to the police.
As always, the only thing the bBC are truly concerned with is protecting their beloved Islam. But it’s becoming ever more apparent that it is the Koran that seems to lie at the root of Islamic violence… perhaps Islam is a violent religion.
