Islam On The Rates

Look away, look away.

The BBC ‘manages’ Islam out of the story:

Tower Hamlets Council ‘culture of cronyism’ criticised

Remarkably the BBC doesn’t think it important to quote what would seem a fairly incendiary statement from Eric Pickles which both the Telegraph and the Guardian quote…..

Mr Pickles told the Commons, adding Mr Rahman’s administration had allowed homophobia, anti-Semitism and religious extremism to “fester”.

“The abuse of taxpayers’ money and culture of cronyism reflects a partisan community politics that seeks to trade favours and spread division on the rates,” he said.

All the more remarkable that the BBC fails to quote such a line when they are always so concerned about social cohesion and multi-culturalism.

This is the closest they come to anything hinting of an ‘ethnic’ flavour to the affair…..

The report also found that a proposal to award money to lunch clubs for Jewish, Sikh and Hindu communities resulted in £99,212 being awarded to Bangladeshi or Somali groups, none of which had applied for the money.

But even that is disengenuous….spot the difference…Jews, Sikhs, Hindus….all religions, then the BBC switches and we have Bangladeshis and Somalis, both nationalities…..why not just use ‘Muslim’ which is the crucial identifying element to consider when examining anything Luther Rahman does…..his actions as Mayor seem always to be looking to promote the Muslim communities’ interests and to further the dominance of Islam in the area….he didn’t send money their way because they were Bangladeshi or Somali but because they were Muslim.

Andrew Gilligan at the Telegraph has for a very long time been investigating and exposing Rahman and his cronies in Tower Hamlets.  The BBC was very slow to take an interest even when serious allegations were being made.

You can now see why events in places like Rochdale were allowed to go on for so long when not just the police and social services but also major media providers refused to tackle anything that would mean confronting elements of the Muslim community.

The BBC thinks its silence and cover up of such sensitive matters is in the interests of community cohesion and peaceful coexistence.  It’s not.  They always come out, but not before a huge amount of damage has been done.

Compare two stories, the Baker resignation and Tower Hamlets. The comparison is how they played on the bBC. For Baker they were still doing a 5minute item at 5.45pm on news 24. Regurgitating the whole story, yet again, finally stating Featherstone had taken over. No mention of the fact that Baker had informed Clegg 3 months before that he was going.

Yet a story that had started the day with a release of a report. Followed by a statement in Parliament. A report about council corruption, fraud, malpractice and officials being put in place to oversee council compliance. In that news slot nothing, but there was an entry in the main 6.00pm BBC1 news.

It left me in no doubt which story the bBC was trying to emphasise. So when there is a referendum on EU IN/OUT I expect a huge amount of bias in the reporting.

The Politics Show then got worse: The subject of the Milliband photo shot with the beggar, special guest John Bird who started the Big Issue. Now comes the lack of credibility.

No mention that begging is illegal, no mention that at 14 she should be at school. She is staying with her aunt, her parents gone back to Romania. Neil to his credit then informs Bird, that the aunt is a registered Big Issue seller and then get £550 a week benefits. I cannot tell you what happened next as my swearing at the tele, I nearly burst a blood vessel. So presumably no mention of the girl should be back with her parents, WTF is the aunt getting £550 a week for. I would like to get 100 Big Issues and insert them inside John Bird where the sun does not shine.

£2200 a month? I’m retired, she gets double my pension a month, and i’ve contributed in taxes over a 38 year working life……now you see why people are calling us ‘ broken Britain ‘. But do politicians care or want to fix the problem? A pox on them, and you see why there is so much venom in some of my posts for the politicians.

Fred – as a clear diversionary tactic the BBC craftily re-framed the immigration debate some time ago such that it is now just an ‘EU migrant’ issue whilst bigger numbers of shit-poor people with huge families and – how shall I say it – less compatible cultures, continue to inundate our cities at huge social, fiscal and cultural cost without any debate by the BBC.

All mass immigration is seen by the Left as ‘social justice’ and is heavily embedded within the list of ‘mitigating actions against climate change’, aka UN Agenda 21. It is also one of the prime reasons Barroso sees the EU as ‘a blueprint for a future world government’ (along with ‘sustainability’, aka ‘decarbonisation’, aka anti-capitalism’). You can see why the BBC pitches its news coverage on these issues as it does.

That’s according them idealistic if misguided motives.

Not too sure they deserve that.

Propaganda backed by censorship is less noble, and has poor historical precedent.

Power that has abused public trust with dishonesty needs holding to account.

If it is not the clamp stays on the pressure valve and the inevitable result will not be pretty.

It will not just be the news, but the reality will be far worse. As Muslim population increases, not only will murder, decapitations, FGM etc increase, but its reporting will get less and less.

And whats is unislamic of Muslim Tower Hamlets Council handing Infidel money to Muslims only? It is totally islamic, just as the aid we give to Islamic nations is distributed to allah’s people only. So it is with disaster relief. It would be unislamic if they didn’t.

Muslims are not grateful for the billions we give them, as they sincerely believe that allah makes us do it as punishment on us, and a blessing to Muslims.

        PS

I think this really important and understood.

Muslims sincerely and genuinely believe, that allah makes us give money to Muslims, as punishment on us, and a blessing to Muslims.

Therefore for the next disaster relief money headed to a Muslim nation, keep in mind that Christians will be beaten and chased away, if they dare stand in line for aid that has been supplied by allah for Muslims only.

The situation in Tower Hamlets is, more or less, the same scenario.

      Hello!

I think you need to read this to understand the full extent of what has been going on in Tower Hamlets.

      http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/andrewgilligan/100272429/lutfur-rahman-what-you-should-know/

      3 Examples:

‘In 2008 Rahman (then a Labour councillor) won the leadership of Tower Hamlets council with the close help of an Islamic extremist group, the Islamic Forum of Europe, which which works to create a sharia state and an “Islamic social, economic and political order” in Britain. In secret filming, IFE activists described how they exercised “consolidated… influence and power” over the council.’

Rahman has given control over the council’s finances to Alibor Choudhury, a former employee of an IFE front organisation with a long track record of encounters with the police. Rahman has himself taken personal control of all grants over £1000.

Rahman has been hostile or indifferent to the borough’s non-Muslim heritage, threatening to close the local history library (reversed only after a storm of protest), selling off pubs and threatening them with closure, and attempting to dispose of a Henry Moore artwork whose form offended Islamic sensibilities. At the same time, he has created a new programme to channel hundreds of thousands of pounds of public money to (mainly Muslim) faith buildings.’

      And 27 others.

How many did Panorama cover? Better still, which ones did they censor?

I heard Sarah Montague interviewing Rushanara Ali MP (I think it was – the one who voted against military action in Syria) on this very topic on Today – the first time the BBC radio’s ‘flagship’ current affairs programme has deigned touch it with even a bargepole as far as I’m aware.

    What I learned:

From SM: Rahman is a Labour Party ‘outsider’ who has proved very popular with residents.

From RA: Tower Hamlets is an ‘incredibly vibrant’ and ‘incredibly dynamic’ borough.

What I learned about the corruption and the reasons the government has had to take control of the council: zilch.

This is the way the BBC manages the news, so if you’re one of the 70% of the population depending on it to keep abreast of what is going on in this fair kingdom of ours you’d think ‘Hmm, fuss over nothing by the sounds of it’ and stick it down your own personal memory hole. The fact that this large London borough has been run like it’s part of rural Bangladesh with democracy, tolerance, fairness and every other aspect of British civic life thrown out of the window just won’t appear on your radar – because the BBC won’t let it.

But you do wonder how the BBC would have treated it had Tower Hamlets been Tory-run.

Over a decade ago, West Yorkshire police stopped Channel 4 running a Dispatches documentary on grooming gangs in Keighley. They claimed it didn’t go on, and the report was scaremongering, and now Galloway gets away with this.

Go to Leeds, and use Galloway’s same works, only place Israel with Islam. See what happens

“The report also found that a proposal to award money to lunch clubs for Jewish, Sikh and Hindu communities resulted in £99,212 being awarded to Bangladeshi or Somali groups, none of which had applied for the money.”

We have to be careful when using pieces like this, because although in this instance it isn’t clear whether the BBC is quoting directly from the report, when it does do so we cannot blame the BBC for the language used.

In the case of their reporting of the persecution of Christians they used quotations which they took verbatim from the report, and again we cannot criticise them for the language someone else chose to use, but we can criticise them for the quotes which they choose to use, and the ones they choose to omit.

The problem I have with this article is this:

    A report into allegations
The council said the report showed
It follows allegations in a BBC Panorama investigation
    The report highlighted
    The report also found
    The report also highlights
The report has cost just under £1m

What report? The BBC has made several references to a report which it simply doesn’t elaborate on in the editorial piece. It doesn’t say who commissioned it; who carried out; when it was carried out; what the report was called, although it does deign to report how much it cost !

There is in fact a link on the page which can only be found by hovering the mouse over it, so if anyone does want to read the actual report which the BBC seems keen to disguise then you can read it here:
