OPEN THREAD

Here we go, an overdue Open Thread! BBC went into food bank frenzy yesterday. I was invited into the BBC NI studio to take part in a discussion on such. My view is that Food Banks are street theatre agitprop sponsored by the left. To my amusement, the BBC in Belfast put on a caller from Cheltenham (!) who gave a tale of woe and explained how Food Banks saved his life. The particularity becomes the generality in the eyes of the BBC, as they do everything possible to help Labour. With an improving economy and falling unemployment the Left need SOMETHING to keep the gospel of despair going so welcome to the great Food Bank meme.

Wow! – An INBBC ‘Jihadist violence’ review-

Unusually for Beeboids, they look at the bigger, global picture of Islamic jihadist atrocities here:

“Jihadist violence ‘killed 5,000 in November'”

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-30420218

It would be a step forward in Beeboid political education if they were to recognise that Islamic jihadists’ propensity to massacre in different parts of the world is not because of local issues, but is driven by the tenets and practices of Islam.

Sigh! Right now on 5 lies there is yet another Labour Party political broadcast in the guise of yet another Milliband speech. The BBC knows no shame.

Here’s something al-Bowen should have been paying attention to instead of going on his trip to pick up some cheap olive oil at licence-payers’ expense:

Al-Aqsa speaker: The slaughter of the Jews is near

If it had been a rabbi calling for the extermination of the Arabs, Bowen, Connolly Doucet et al would have been all over it like white on rice.

Thatchwatch – or totally unnecessary and derogatory mentions of Mrs T on the BBC.
Today it was R4 In Our Time and favoured geneticist Steve Jones likening ruthless competing organisms to Mrs Thatchers. Unchallenged of course by the generally decent but Labour peer Baron Bragg who chairs the programme.

John Bird, founder of The Big Issue blames Margaret Thatcher for throwing the mentally ill out onto the streets and for the huge rise in homelessness [1:29:40] during his interview on Radio 3.
But Margaret Thatcher and others before her thought that the institutional mental hospitals weren’t looking after their patients properly, something proved by the various abuse cases that are now coming to light,(Savile et al).
Funnily enough he then goes on to tell us that there are two prejudices, the first a dislike of the homeless and the second the people whose existence is to keep them homeless, (the Labour party, Church of England bishops, BBC etc.?).
I rather think that John Bird and Margaret Thatcher had more in common than he would admit. As an aside it would have been nice to have got his views on The Big Issue now being a gateway for Romanians to getting a National Insurance number. I expect Stephen Nickell, (“Britain isn’t full”) will be telling us next that 36% of The Big Issue sellers are immigrants and we would be up the creek without them!

Actually I saw him speak on this issue recently, I can’t remember on what programme or exactly when, and he was condemning those who sell the Big Issue as a career move like some immigrants.

Yes, the remark startled me, too. However, I think Melvyn Bragg was right not to draw attention to it. It seemed to me that the egregious Jones had decided in advance to attempt to smear Mrs Thatcher during the programme. I’m afraid he is one of the shameless and immoral socialist scientists that the BBC likes to promote.

BBC News still has this on it’s web site:
“UKIP’s Bird v Bolter row:What do we know?”
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-30420190
This is still being shown despite the fact that every other news outlet has confirmed that Bolter lied about going to Oxford, misrepresented her relationship with Bird, and failed to mention that she had been kicked out of the Labour Party. In other words, that she has been totally discredited. It’s inconceivable that the BBC doesn’t “know” these facts yet, so why is this still being shown? Chris Mason says, “What we have seen, read and heard in the last 48 hours is what scrutiny looks like for a party on the rise.” No it isn’t, it’s just another example of what a UKIP smear looks like.

    BBC-NUJ = Islamic Al Jazeera = QATAR.

BBC-NUJ’s has political campaign (on BBC licencepayers’ time- was pay deducted?)* for Islamic Al Jazeera’s three journalists convicted for supporting Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. The Islamic owners of Al Jazeera, the Emirate of QATAR, support Islamic jihad, Hamas.

Currently, Beeboids seems reluctant to criticise Qatar, and they don’t have this:-

“Qatar allows money to flow to Islamic State, other jihad terrorists”

    http://www.jihadwatch.org/2014/12/qatar-allows-money-to-flow-to-islamic-state-other-jihad-terrorists

“Egypt trial: Journalists protest over al-Jazeera trio”

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-27988754

(When they were sacked by BBC, Ms Sam Mason didn’t get this support from Beeboids; nor did Mr Andrew Gilligan.)

The BBC have put up a host of articles and essays on Jihad: the following giving us all a wee history behind the violent terrorism which the BBC consistently tries to disentangle from the true motivation behind such barbary: the agenda of an increasing number of Muslims worldwide to impose Islam.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-30436486

Personally, I don’t appreciate words like ‘revolutionaries’ being given to violent religious fanatics. The BBC will do anything to try and sanitise the ever-increasing violence and intolerance which the followers of Islam seem to enjoy so much.

And here they like to highlight how the term “jihadist’ is seen as pejorative by Muslims who only want to do good…

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-30411519

I hope they go to the same extraordinary lengths to help us understand Christianity the next time Christians en-masse across the globe start beheading, bombing, gang-raping and treating women as second-class citizens!

Yes, I know it`s Channel 4-but the odious Symeon Brown has got to be a transfer target when the BBC window comes up to poach, sanctimonious, free-loading, lazy and parasitic hankie-wringers to show some “solidarity with the marginalised and the oppressed.”
One of the two protaganists has created a business-the other has come along to play the race and poverty cards, and hinder the former from trading for a few minutes.
Which IS nastier?…Channel 4 or the BBC-on this showing, it`s got to be the Snowjob and his minchens like Brown, Mason and the Guru…
