    Haven’t seen any reports of the ‘Reclaim Australia’ demonstrations on The BBC yet, Sky News did a report though.

      Funny you should mention that I was following an Australian on facebook who was talking about the claim back Australia day. Strangely he seems to have been removed from the site.
      There are several videos doing the rounds. How is it the Australian UAF / ANTIFA look like clones of their rent a scum counterparts here in England? Have a look around youtube. Someone was asking what happened at the white pride march in Manchester (not reported by BBc) apparently @ 200 turned up and there were no major incidents is all I can find on the net. Turns out lots of things happen in Australia that never gets reported.

      I’ve received first hand reports via a facebook pal, who was at one of the demos.
      They have had some UAF equivalents causing trouble, some of whom saw fit to video themselves burning the Australian flag, having ripped it from the hands of a 71 yr old woman.
      However, on the whole the rabble were outchanted outshouted and outnumbered by an active populace who dont like bludgers at all.
      They also didnt have the PC style of policing that we see here, at least on the ground, tho’ lord knows what their seniors are like.
      All in all, I’d say the reclaim movement are on to a winner there.
      The anti reclaimers of course base all their logic upon the fact that it belongs to the aboriginals anyway.

    Just watched BBC TV news at 1.00 which reported the Pope and Archbishop of Canterbury’s easter messages.

    Both referrred to the killing of Christians. The Archbishop called those murdered in Kenya as “martyrs”.

    Strangely the BBC report didn’t mention who’s doing the killing.

    I thought they were being killed by muslims. Maybe I’m mistaken.

    BBC TV lunchtime news earlier in the week had their usual PC box-ticked bird presenting the sports news.

    So here we go, off to look at Greg Dyke’s proposal to increase the quota of English players at Premier League clubs (so we can at least start competing with the likes of Germany and Spain who have much, much higher quotas than us – but we weren’t told that). Premier League Clubs are somewhat reluctant, preferring to use their ill-gotten squillions on off-the-shelf foreign journeymen – sorry, ‘stars’ – to give their fans the instant trophy gratification they so richly deserve.

    Over to West Brom to interview Tony Pulis.

    Nah, no need for it, says Tony. What ‘they’ should be doing is improving the quality of the quota they’ve already got. In a nutshell, that was it. Germany? – sorry, where? Spain? Never heard of it. Tumbleweed.

    In case the BBC hadn’t noticed what might be called ‘a conflict of interest suffused with a hint of bias’:

    – West Brom are a Premier League Club (at the moment)

    – Tony Pulis is Welsh.

    Anyway, no matter, job done. Can’t stand the risk of the filthy English getting all jingoistic with themselves over football can we?

    But suppose we give the BBC the benefit of the doubt and there was no intention to deploy the usual anti-English agenda? Well in that case it was so pointless, imbalanced and uninformative you really do wonder about the quality of BBC sports journalism. But then, when you’ve got a guaranteed trough of £4bn p.a. to sink your snouts into, with nobody to hold you to account, why should you give a flying fork? Bit like Premiership clubs, really.

The headline at 1 p.m. was that Mark Lardell has visited Wales to discover that Plaid Cymru is planning to campaign with SNP to make a Labour government even more left-wing and to give away even more of our money to the wasters and no-hopers. Then, later in the same ‘news’ programme, they went to Chicago, where, surprise, surprise, there is a Democrat mayoral candidate who wants to make the Democrats even more left-wing and to give away even more money to the wasters and no-hopers.
    None of the bBBC ‘reporters’, on either side of the Atlantic, thought to ask where we could find the magic money-tree.

    This article is significant for what it doesn’t say so much as what it does say.

    There’s no expert commentary from Ross Hawkins, telling us that this illustrates how Red Ed is frightened of letting the public see who is really is, and is putting on an act. Nor are questions raised about the judgement of a man who leaves sensitive papers lying around.

    Also, where are the talking heads? I’m pretty sure that a Labour and Lib Dem source would be quoted had Nigel Farage left embarrassing notes lying about. Instead, we just have a quote from the Labour Party basically saying, ‘Ed is a great guy’.

    Isn’t it telling how far-Leftists and communists conveniently ‘forget’ about Stalin’s cooperation with Hitler in the early days of the war? Stalin, similar to the evil monster Hitler, slaughtered millions but those who fanatically subscribe to communist ideologies seem to have escaped the condemnation that the Nazis’ nationalism rightly received. In my opinion communism, like fascism and nationalism, is a vile ideology that causes trouble wherever there are people foolish enough to implement its foul tenets. And yet, the Left have expunged the nasty bits in order to reinvent the movement as some equitable movement for the proletariat. It’s not a movement for fairness; it’s a foul swindle for the few to dominate the many.

        Probably BiasedBBC isn’t really the place to ask this, but someone here might know the answer.

        When the Daily Mail ran the story about Miliband’s father one of the key facts in the BBC’s defence of him was that during World War II he had served in the Royal Navy – thereby proving his loyalty to Britain. If he had joined in September 1939 the BBC has a valid point, but if he joined after June 1941 he could equally well have been showing loyalty to Russia and Communism. Does anyone know when he joined the Navy?

    Interesting data from the ukpolling website about the claims made by UKIP in the debate, and the reaction of the Fascists:

    “On immigration and HIV – perhaps the one specific issue from the debate that stood out – 50% of people would support the idea of banning immigrants to Britain from NHS treatment, 34% of people are opposed. Asked specifically about Nigel Farage’s comments on HIV, 37% said he was scaremongering, 52% said it was a serious issue he was right to raise.”

      And many of those opposed are immigrants who want to be able to to bring in sick relatives, natural enough, and just underlines how immigrants, by their situation, often have interests which conflict with those of the indigenous, even when they may have lived here for years and have taken citizenship.

      Islam is a minority religion in this country and yet it gets more attention than any other; the BBC are obsessed with it and bumlick Muslims on a daily, no almost hourly, basis. They censor reports so the words ‘Islam’ and ‘Muslim’ are taken out and leave many stories concerning Muslims off their their news bulletins altogether. But why? Are they hellbent in doing all they can to help Islam become the dominant religion in this country? What possible reason could they have for promoting it with such zeal if not to aid its growth?

Cameron’s love for all things Islam, the adoration of rough looking terrorists avoiding deportation from sexy Teresa, might play a part in reinforcing the natural left IslamoTrotskyism of the state broadcaster.     Can’t find it now, but a poster this morning mentioned the travails of a BBC reporter North of the Border and I made a mental note to see what was up, up there.

    Poor wee soul clearly having a bit of a mare in his chosen career. Guessing ‘don’t you know I’m from the BBC’ is less of a plus these days.

    No excuse for abuse of course, but given what Nigel Farage, and family, has to weather hourly, the whinge seems a bit desperate. I know media is not politics, but both presume to influence the public, and if you can’t take the heat, not everyone has a second kitchen.

    I mentioned this on an earlier thread, but having seen the Seven Leader debate the other day, it appeared to me that Farage and Cameron had some sort of truce between them.

    The gloves were off however between Clegg and Cameron.

    Could we be looking at a Conservative/UKIP coalition?

    (Not mentioned by the BBC. This combination would be unthinkable by them).

      You could be ‘on the nail’ there DS, as the political parties have a few policies in commons i.e. UKIP want a EU referendum and the ‘Cons’ have promised a EU referendum. Both have promised to get immigration levels down. Throw that lot in with DUP from Northen Ireland and you have a coalition!

    The Bishop of Salisbury decides to use his Easter sermon to ‘warn of the dangers of global warming’ and ‘wants us to stop using fossil fuels’ BBC Points West is on the case, leading with it as the main point on tonight’s 5 minute bulletin.

    Strange this as Salisbury normally is covered by BBC South, yet BBC West seemed to already have vox pops in the can from Bristol and a professor from Bristol University giving us his ‘expert’ view. As its a bank holiday weekend, these inserts must have been recorded in preparation and no allowance made for an alternative view.

    The bBC, agenda? what agenda? this subject should not be at the top of a C of E’s list for an Easter sermon, far more pressing issues, Common Purpose the lot of ’em…

    Also no mention of this ‘sermon’ on the bBC Bristol news website.

    Two points.

    I heard on BBC news that there is to be an election debate held in Scotland. I can find no evidence of the same in England. Doesn’t seem very fair.

    Also saw pictures of Yarmuk Palestinian Refugee camp being overrun by IS. So where is Hamas, Fatah and Islamic Jihad when Palestinians are being killed en masse? Thought they were freedom fighters?

      They are fighting for freedom from humanity, decency, morality, justice and compassion.

      Naturally they don’t give a damn about their fellow Palestinians living in camps in Syria and other Arab countries where they are denied human rights and treated like rubbish in order to keep the flame of hatred against Israel alive.

      The BBC also doesn’t give a damn about them and ignores them. It wouldn’t do to have bleeding heart BBC ‘journalists’ investigate the conditions in those camps because that would expose the heartlessness of Arabs towards their Palestinian brothers.

      Much safer to get Lyse Doucet and the rest of the motley crew to concentrate on Gaza.

    I don’t know if this is happening where other contributors are, but when I opened the Radio 4 website this morning to hear the shipping forecast, a pop up asked me to complete a survey after I had finished listening. There was a page on it asking for my opinions. I gave them, suspecting that they would be ignored. Still, if this survey is available in your areas, we might be able to bombard them with accusations of bias. Worth a try anyway. I couldn’t get a URL for the survey to pass on as it was just BBC Radio 4.

Err bugger all Apart from Wallace & Grommit (must have been on before) it looks like the usual cheap TV.a lot I assume being repeats, oh and of course the terminally dumb Eastenders well I assume it still is I haven’t watched it since 2001 (my ex used to watch it)

      On top of apparently inspiring all this with a story based on ‘sources’, it’s rather hard to feel too sympathetic with a BBC moppet claiming they are just doing their job… trust them.

      Not sure that, beyond rightly decrying abuse, the defences will make happy reading for him or the brand he seems to think is still respected.

    Well surprisingly not a headline on the BBC but unbelievably this is Tory party policy which they intend to implement in the law change on pensions today. It could also be called the government having their cake and eating it !

    From today you will legally be able to cash in your pension pot for a lump sum. If you do this, then you will be subject to tax at up to 40%
    When it comes to the time you claim your pension the government will then take your pension pot into account as if you actually had an income from it, and will either reduce or refuse a claim for benefits accordingly.
    They will completely ignore the 40% tax they have already taken from you & thus they will both have their cake & eat it.

    But what happens if you have no other income and the government refuses you a claim on the grounds you drew down your pension pot early? Well quite simply you are expected to continue in that fine Nu Tory ‘we’re not at all like Labour’ tradition, of being able to live on fresh air alone !

    This is short termism at its very worst! Osborne wants t get his grasping fingers on the tax money NOW! The caveat of not being able to claim will be left for someone else to sort out in the future.

    Our society is divided in two, those who save for their future, and keep solvent into old age, and those who spend everything they have and borrow to spend more as well! They end up being carried by the ones who save in a completely unfair manner.

    This is exactly what is going to happen with the pension draw down. The terminally feckless spend thrifts will want a new car, ‘better’ holiday, new kitchen etc etc, and spend without a thought to tomorrow.

    Anyone here reckon a future government will have the spine to refuse to allow any pension to those fools who have spent theirs and are now starving ?
