Well then. looks like “Jihadi John” aka Mohammad Emwazi, has been evaporated. Naturally, Jeremy Corbyn has expressed his deep unhappiness at this event, wishing instead that the decapitating thug had been “arrested”. It will be interesting to see how the BBC tackles this but given their opposition to us doing ANYTHING against Islamic State, we can expect them lining up behind Corbyn’s specious tripe.

R4’s Today team was strangely free of pro-jihadist apologia this morning. I was expecting the usual outrage at “extra judicial” killing. We are betraying our moral values and losing the “moral high ground” from which we will ultimately crush IS. No Beards from CAGE claiming that the British security services radicalised him,a “beautiful young man” driven to his death by the wicked British. Martyrs will be created, counterproductive, blah, blah. The “true Brit, brought up in Britain, killed by his own people” shtick, so loved by the media, is the ultimate in nausesting claptrap.

How did Jeremy Corbyn imagine Mohammad Emwazi would have been “arrested”? More to the point, how many British lives would he have been prepared put at risk in order to carry out this far-fetched endeavour?
If I was a cynic I would assume that Corbyn is just playing to a particular gallery, but like his philosophy his statements are so far removed from reality, he might actually believe what he says.
Felt certain that I had seen the reported death of this Jihadi on Yahoo or somewhere else a few weeks ago-, so can we be certain that what is currently being claimed is definitely Jihadi John /Mohammad Emwazi-this claim by all and sundry that, this piece of evil has been kiiled, reminds me of the propaganda that surrounded Osama Bin Laden’s death-when in fact it was known that he died some years earlier in about 2001. Being a little sceptical over this recent claim, am inclined to reagrd it as another cover up for the futile bombing of the supposed Islamic State holdings in Iraq/Syria by the USA. Think most of us recognise that the forward Jihadi runners working for the Islamic state have been slipping across the Med for many months, fully funded from those sleepers already well entrenched in Europe/UK and still coming disguised as potential refugees-of course its rubbish-majority are youngish men as is noted by us all, well fed, strong and eager to carry out the work/orders from IS and for their despotic ideology.
