The BBC has hit upon a great way of making money for Children in Need this year. Remember when Joanna Lumley used to get her kit off if a certain amount in pledges was reached? Well, this year, Camilla Batmanjelly will be stripping off UNLESS £10m is pledged.

Hmmm. There was a major terrorist attack on a market in the Hezbollah terrorist stronghold in South Beirut yesterday with 43 people killed and 200 wounded. ISIS claimed responsibility. Here’s the speedy and concerned White House reaction from Ned Price of the National Security Council:

“The United States condemns in the strongest terms today’s horrific terrorist attacks in Beirut, Lebanon, that killed dozens and wounded hundreds more,” said Price.

“We offer our deepest condolences to the families and other loved ones of those killed and injured in this violence. The United States will stand firm with the government of Lebanon as it works to bring those responsible for this attack to justice.”

    http://www.timesofisrael.com/us-condemns-horrific-islamic-state-attacks-in-beirut/

Now this wringing of hands over a terrorist attack against Hezbollah had me totally gobsmacked because I’d always taken it as read that the US regards Hezbollah as a terrorist organisation – with complete justification since it salivates at the idea of destroying Israel, a US ally, targets Israeli and other Jewish civilians and was responsible for the slaughter of hundreds of US marines and personnel at the US barracks and Embassy in Lebanon in the eighties.

    Not any more, apparently:

    http://freedomoutpost.com/2015/03/obama-admin-quietly-removes-iran-and-hezbollah-from-terror-list/

It seems the US is now cuddling up to Hezbollah, as part of the nuclear agreement with Iran, and is trying to ally itself with Iran and Hezbollah against ISIS. So, under Obama, the US is selling Israel out more completely than I’d imagined thus far.

And where does the BBC slot into all this? Well, I scouted around the World Service a bit today and it seems rather detached and indifferent. Outside Source, for example, only got to the story way into the programme, and then only briefly. And here I was thinking that the BBC is deeply in love with Hezbollah. Certainly during the 2006 war it acted like a PR company for the terrorist group, but I guess the BBC’s loathing of Israel had a lot to do with that. Perhaps the BBC is disillusioned with Hezbollah since it hasn’t attacked Israel since. And of course, if the US is now attempting to befriend Hezbollah that will count against the latter with the organisation, since the BBC loathes the US almost as much as Israel.

What does the BBC think of ISIS? And will the BBC cheerlead for ISIS rather than Iran/Hezbollah?

Well, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself here but it seems to me that as the Islamic grip on the BBC tightens we are soon going to have to speculate on whether Sunnis or Shia dominate the corporation and assess BBC propaganda in terms of the Sunni-Shia conflict.

Just listened to the news on radio 4…..BBC going all gaga at this happy-clappy event in Wembley for the Indian PM…..when asked, most referred to him as ‘our leader’……sorry, you are resident in the UK, some for fifty years or so. What gives? Why are you here? i suppose you could say the same for Brits living abroad, but most left for sun and retirement….not fleeing a dirt poor, filthy rat-infested, racist and class ridden hellhole that India still represents in reality. All over the country they came from soothes the presenter…more like the Midlands really.

Funny that it takes a while to notice what should be screamingly obvious in photographs. Such as the black power salute by Stephen Lawrence most often cropped by the BBC.

Here’s another one which seems to have passed everyone by. A photograph of Alan Henning murdered by ‘Jihadi John’ in the news today because he’s been killed, but notice the hand gesture Henning is making on the bonnet of the car. It is the Index finger pointing up.

Yet again there’s a back story which the media is failing to tell us.

Email update on the campaign against TV Licences from Caroline Lévesque-Bartlett

‘Hello everyone! Time for a little update.

First of all: congratulations! We have now over 170,000 signatures! (170,445 last time I checked.)

    PRESENTATION TO THE PARLIAMENT

Andrew Bridgen has now submitted the petition to the clerks of Public Petitions at the House of Commons. They, in turn, “re-drafted” it. In other words, they took the 800+ words original text and kept precisely 118 of them. It’s a massacre. All the bits about the bullying tactics used by TV licensing, the number of prosecutions and imprisonment each year, the fact that the system is outdated, the last paragraph on bias: it’s all gone! And, of course, the mention of the “fracas” was nixed too (even though this petition would not exist if it had not happened, since the BBC turning a deaf ear to 1 million people was the last straw for me). There is no need to say this is not going down well. Keeping only the blandest most general and inoffensive comments does not qualify as text grooming in my humble opinion. I explained that a petition is not a blank cheque, and as such, the terms cannot be renegotiated to the point of no recognition once it has been signed. 38 Degrees won’t allow it anyway, as they stated: “Once members have signed a petition, it’s important that the meaning of the campaign is not changed. People have already signed your petition calling for a specific thing to happen.”

I’m now waiting for their reply. I’ll keep you informed when they do. All in all, it’s a long process, but as they say “if you want to go far, walk slowly”.

    PRESS

A few weeks ago, I noticed something really fishy about the BBC surveys. If you noticed, the BBC released some partial results that were quite favourable to their position. I read the small print (which you should always do) and discovered that these results were not from the public consultation. I contacted the Daily Mail and thankfully, Katherine Rushton agreed to investigate the matter. She then penned an article called “BBC ignored public’s views on its future and instead used paid-for-study to represent the views of the population”, showing the world what a sham this public consultation has been so far. Read it here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3268840/BBC-ignored-public-s-views-future-instead-used-paid-study-represent-views-population.html

Caroline Lévesque-Bartlett started this campaign on the 38 Degrees Campaigns by You website. If there’s an issue close to your heart that you’d like to campaign on, you can start your campaign here.

The BBC is doing its best to downplay Jeremy Corbyn’s comments about the scumbag killed in a drone strike earlier. Here is what they say:

‘Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said it appeared Emwazi had been “held to account for his callous and brutal crimes”.
“However, it would have been far better for us all if he had been held to account in a court of law,” he said.’

Nice one BBC, straight out of the handbook of media messaging that one.

Another puff piece from the BBC about women in sport, this time F1 prompted by Williams test driver Suzie Wolff’s retirement. Let’s remember that Wolff did not get the job because of her talent (best result a 7th in touring cars) but because her husband Toto Wolff just happens to be an ex Williams shareholder and Executive Director of Williams’ engine supplier Mercedes.

I’m all for women drivers in F1, but there has to reason why so far few have made it and it has nothing to do with sexism.

      So women can do it.
If there were any promising young women about I believe they would have no problems getting sponsorship, it would greatly benefit F1 profits if a woman was challenging for the world championship.
Women just do not seem to be interested in motor sports, and who can blame them, I find F1 tedious.

Thought struck me though when I heard this on the news, Geoff, that this could go rather badly for the BBC now.

Clarkson wins or has a derisory damages award against him: Tymon loses and & the BBC gain no advantage over Clarkson. On the other hand, Tymon wins and is awarded substantial damages: Clarkson has to pay but loses no more face, but so does the BBC. BBC equally culpable, if not more so, for not instantly dismissing Clarkson.

Tymon initially came out a hero from all of this. He’s not looking that way so much now, danger is that he will look like more a bit of a money grabber. Again, not a good reflection on the BBC.

On the right, you can see Storming across Europe – One Syrian family’s story. Out of idle curiosity, I clicked on that and am then taken to Radio 4 website where I can…wait for it….download 10 episodes of a diary of this family’s “journey to Europe”. I went no further and am nonplussed as to what to make of it all!! What are these journalists trying to do to us? Words fail me. They don’t even have a decent play on now on Friday evenings on Radio 4. It’s a repeat of St Leonard of the Black Theatre! Do I need this? I don’t think so.

Not BBC bias but a possible example of the complete disaster that at times the BBC presently appears to be:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p037whm2

Jeff Lynne’s ELO playing Mr Blue Sky live in the BBC Studio. Admittedly, having some of the audience clap all the way through the performance did not help but to my ears the levels on some instruments & voices were way off and the whole sound balance seemed off kilter, with way to much bias to bass. I was listening through my PC with a sound system that appears pretty good on most stuff that I listen to but it could be my set up was wrong or losing something. Have a listen yourself and see what you think.

About twenty years ago, it appeared to me that the BBC’s technical mastery was starting to slip badly on Outdoor Broadcasts. Occasional glitches & difficult situations are, I would have thought, inevitable, especially with Outdoor Broadcasts or at venues that are acoustically difficult. They started to become not just poor but disaster prone, most often at the prime annual Glastonbury binge but also regularly on things like the Sunday morning ‘Sunday Worship’ on R4. But this was an in-house set-up, everything should have been perfectly set up and controlled by BBC engineers.

Not a good advertisement for a sustained, let alone an increased, Licence Fee.

Most of you here , must of been NF or BNP , supporters before UKiP , came along, you want the Police & Army to go out & Murder people who you don`t like. No trials , they are moosies , just murder them, all just in case . That is not a civilised way , murdering people you think are terrorists .

I will old son , but if you would like , total closure of the borders , that means , no one leaves or arrives . No foreign hols , no one arriving from abroad , then , if they do arrest & deportation , unless you are a British passport holder returning . That`s the only solution .”

As of now upwards of 158 innocent people have been slaughtered by Islamic terrorists in Paris and you have the gall to start whining and claiming that people here want to murder, your words, ‘moosies’.
Take a shower, sober up and consider how stupid you sound.
And just in case you have any doubts, it wasn’t the Amish or the Mormons who committed this atrocity, it was Muslims.

I used to be a very liberal left-wing self-righteous naive student. Then I saw the true nature of Islam. Now I don’t want Islam to grow any further in the UK.

              Islam = violent terror.

Not all Muslims are nutjobs, but a good 20% are according to opinion polls. The last thing we need is more muslims. In fact, I’d have no problem with deporting the 20% of psychotic nutjobs that walk among us.

Nothing to do with Islam of course: It’s about Syria (which is itself Nothing to do with Islam). I dread to think how the BBC will react if it turns out these are not ‘local French Jihadis’, but in fact are recently arrived in the country as, ahem, refugees.

Hollande is said to have gone into a meeting (security bunker hideaway) like politicians do when there’s any danger, to do absolutely nothing useful what so ever – so business as usual !

Governments are supposed to be strategic and the strategy that insane leftie Hollande has overseen has clearly failed. But like all extremist Fascsists he will not be able to accept that he has done anything wrong.

Obama has made his speech doing the usual avoidance of mentioning Islam, all fine words, but the parsnips remain unbuttered.

Lazy corrupt Dave isn’t going to jeapordise his Saudi payout lies through his teeth, while meanwhile tonight his hippy wife has dressed up in a Sari.

And as we all know, jihad means war. islam is at war with us. I wish the MSM would use the word war because by using the Arabic word, they minimise the danger we are in. These muslim killers are footsoldiers in the war that islam has uniliterally declared against us. As such we should call them what they are, enemy combatants, and treat them and their supporters accordingly.

Right let’s round up these politicians ho have opened the borders and arrest them. This tragedy as inevitable. The people new it would happen the politicians did but didn’t give a damn, they just saw more people = more money.

So then, France has now closed its borders. Bit bloody late Hollande. What a fool. No not foolish. Wilfully revoltingly foolish, he would have known that this incident was always going to happen. People on this site and others were warning that this would happen. Everybody who were not left ing knew this would happen!!

For God’s sake wake up,wake up.

I would like to see the dead people’s families sue the Hollande government for negligence. I want Holland guillotined. I want these political idiots disgraced.

I am bloody raging at this needless loss of innocent life. Do you hear me Cameron/ Markel/Hollande etc (pro unchecked immigration)- BLOODY RAGING.

At the Bataclan, there are apparently 60 – 100 hostages it’s a complicated situation , as the terrorists shoot their hostages one after another.
I seem to remember that a man with a spine who knew what to do called Vladimir Putin gassed an entire theatre then when everyone was knocked out sent the boys in who shot the muzzies and rescued the hostages.

Meanwhile, the Arch bitch of Canterbury has announced that he can no longer carry his crozier because his hands are sore sore from his wringing them, and if this ‘Islamophobic’ reporting doesn’t stop he might not recover by Christmas oops Winterval !

Meanwhile questions are being asked if France was properly prepared for an attack which dare not speak its name. This is despite the fact that the city was flooded with high level Police & military for the upcoming AGW festival where 20 hand wringers (oops, world leaders) are due to gather for a huge lie fest.

It’s a packed field, but so far POTUS, BBC and especially Newsnight have managed tonight to show that it is possible to set an already subterranean professional bar so low it would take a drilling rig to locate it.

The ongoing platitudes and dissembling from all the scrabbling PC usual suspects in face of grim reality defies logic.

They seriously seem to think they still have a mandate to ‘lead’ or speak for people who can clearly see just how absent the Emperor’s Clothes are.
