Suspicious: Mr Barron, pictured, was cleaning his e-cigarette when other passengers got spooked by the smell

That’ll be $15 million dollars thanks….and a trip to the White House……

Motorway closed and bus passengers left standing by the roadside for an hour in howling wind and rain after bearded musician’s e-cigarette was mistaken for a BOMB

A motorway was closed and passengers were dumped on the roadside in the pouring rain after a bearded punk musician’s e-cigarette was mistaken for a bomb.

Chris Barron, 25, from Ayr, was coming home from Glasgow when a fellow passenger mistook his e-cig vapouriser for an explosive device.

In a panic the bus was immediately stopped on the M77 by the driver and police closed the motorway and swooped on the vehicle to search it.

Strangely enough the BBC hasn’t mobilised to report this latest bit of ‘Islamophobia’.

I knew smoking was dangerous, but surely not that dangerous?

    People are very jumpy.

I was in Singapore either side of 9/11, and this actually happened and was reported upon in the Straits Time shortly after 9/11. The ST link no longer works but the story is authentic.
