Question Time Live Chat

David Dimbleby presents Question Time from Chelmsford. On the panel this week are: Ukip’s Roger Helmer MEP, director of the Institute of Economic Affairs, Mark Littlewood; Cameronian clown Nicky Morgan MP, Labour’s shadow defence secretary Emily Thornberry MP, and finally, for the SNP (since this week’s show is in southern England) trade and industry spokesperson Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh MP. Presumably she spends her days twiddling her thumbs.

Kick off tomorrow (Thursday) at 22.45

Emily Thornberry, do they actually mean Lady Nugee? Funny how the fauxcialists keep these little titles quiet whilst they enjoy a bit of rabble rousing amongst the left.
Anybody remember the Honourable Robert James Kenneth Peston, son of Baron Peston?

Baron Peston, Labour peer – not that it would in any way influence the politics of his Hon. son, of course.

How unfair of you Steve, she is always extoling her working class credentials, being brought up on a council estate blah di blah, I understand she has a fair size estate of her own now what with buying ex council houses at a knock down price to rent out for a “little income”. Hope the bbbc stocks up on plenty of snacks whilst she waits in the green room. She knows a lot about defence she was made up to a army captain so she could work on a court martial. That patronising voice is enough for me to give it a miss tonight, will get the box set of ” The Soprano’s ” out, at least they don’t pretend they are not gangsters.

Thornberry, I cannot stand this chain smoking, snobbish, lying, pretentious, hypocrite of a sanctimonious, self serving, millionaire ‘socialist’, feminazi, pig of a common woman.

She grows on me like a wart!

Do the bbc bosses realise th pro EU members of the panel only outnumber the Brexit ones by 3:2
    Somebody is for the chop.

It’s OK: Dimbleby is there to see that any pro-Brexit points will be neutered. Having him as “impartial” question-master is a BBC version of the “it’s not the votes that count, it’s who counts the votes” principle.

To maximize your QT viewing pleasure, please do a little bit of preparatory reading about Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh MP, political butterfly extraordinaire. And such a modest soul, too.

    Quotes:

“People listen to me because they hear my conviction. It’s at the heart of everything I do whether that’s our independence, politics, motherhood or the equality agenda. I’m tough and tenacious. I can persuade, push, coax, cajole and convince …”

“I’m a perfectly confident individual, confident in my profession, confident in my religion and I don’t feel that for my own experience that sharia is discriminatory towards me in any way.”

Weekly score on EU Question Time bias
Tonight’s loyalties are, I believe, as follows
    Remain
    Nicky Morgan
    Emily Thornberry
    Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh

    Leave
    Mark Littlewood
    Roger Helmer

    Making a running total of
    Remain 28
    Leave 11
    Undecided 2

Getting close to a 3:1 ratio in favour of Remain. Sdaly predictable I suppose.

Is it any wonder there are so many gay MP’s if the women on tonight’s panel are the type of women that move in political circles?

Is SNP Tasmina this edition’s comedienne? Most amusing when she drifted into full-Sturgeon autopilot extolling the virtues of local Scottish policy whilst addressing an Essex audience.

Every good run of results comes to an end, and so it is with that of UKIP QT appearances. Roger Helmer appears to be an affable chap, but did not get the leave message across. Mark Littlewood was the stand-out guest, with Dimbleby adjudicating a cat fight between Morgan, Thornberry and Ahmed-Sheikh at one point.

Watched it for the first time in weeks and what a load of cock. SNP woman was typical shouty lefty with nothing of substance to say. How that weirdo ( wide open staring eyes) N Morgan got to be where she is beats me as she is totally ineffective. Don’t have to even comment on Emily Thornberry as she has form. The guy from the institute of economic affairs came across as a closet lefty. Roger Helmer tried to speak sense but as usual wasn’t really given chance. A waste of an hour of my time.
