The BBC…Propagandists for terror

From Nick Cohen in Standpoint:

Shame On The Liberals Who Rationalise Terror

Every step you take explaining radical Islam away is apparently rational and liberal. Each takes you further from rationalism and liberalism. In your determination to see the other side’s point of view and to avoid making it “really angry about this or that”, you end up altering your behaviour so much that you can no longer challenge the prejudices of violent religious reactionaries. As you seek rationales for the irrational and excuses for the inexcusable, you become a propagandist for the men you once opposed.

And in the case of the Orlando ‘terrorist’, President Obama jumps straight on to his hobby horse regarding gun control.

Unfortunately no-one has yet proved beyond a reasonable doubt that weapons cannot suddenly jump up in the air, and indiscriminately (in this case in the middle of an LGBT club) start firing of their own volition at a group of people with a specific proclivity.

It couldn’t possibly be about the weapon-user and his proclivities or beliefs, no….no….no, that would be far too simple to accept, there has to be some way that the incident can be tied to only those people who do not blindly follow the current US president’s beliefs – far more likely that such people engaged in some nefarious group-think plot than the actual wielder of the weapon.

And, of course, faced with the death toll in his own home territory, Chicago, every weekend in life, that too, of course, despite the fact that gun law in the US would not have prevented a significant proportion of these deaths, since these are caused by illegal weapons, somehow, gun laws would have totally prevent any deaths which involve certain belief systems in the true perpetrator. He couldn’t possibly obtain, like so many Chicago groups seem to be able to do, weapons of any kind if gun laws were changed.

Keep taking the tablets whilst US authorities understand the motivations of the crime instead of jumping to conclusions like you have done. Personally my complaint of the BBC is covering this incident in the first place.

And, as usual, MOCO, you jump in with both feet, completely missing the point I was making, i.e. that it was Mr Obama who was leaping to conclusions (and not for the first time on so m any of his hobby-horse prejudices). But perhaps that was far too subtle a point for some of the hard-of-thinking to grasp. Never mind – keep trying and one day you might be able to keep up.

Unfortunately for Mr Obama and his cohorts, he’s not just going to have to try to bat away any responsibility for the problem from a particularly religious or sexuality viewpoint, but some reports are claiming that the nutter in question is a registered, Obama-supporting Democrat.

‘Woe, woe and thrice woe’, as a certain coven of Clintons might be saying at the moment….. not that the US Main Stream Media are going to be giving a hoot about any viewpoint, factual or otherwise, other than their Messiah’s

Yes I too hate people who try to understand things and change them for the better. Its much better to decry or admire without any rhyme or reason. Thats why this site is so good at understanding bias in all its forms. Now back to the ducking stool!

Serial point-missing late last evening, MOCO ? The point was that Mr Obama continually tries to point the finger of blame at, amongst other personal characteristics he hates, Republicans – this time that’s going to be a really hard battle -do try to keep up. Understanding will become easier for you the more you try…. but in your case, it may take some time.

We should have tried to understand the Nazis and tried to change things for the better?

By way of balance, it should be conceded that the BBC does not only propagandise for terror.

Nick Cohen? Sounds Jewish. He’ll be no platformed, despite his impeccable left wing opinions.
