A second referendum?  You’d think, listening to the BBC, that that was a perfectly reasonable and fair way to proceed.  You’d have no idea that it is a highly controversial, anti-democratic, unconstitutional, hugely dishonest and corrupt idea being peddled by pro-Remain politicians as they tour the BBC’s studios and get a warm welcome instead of an absolute roasting for their treachery and betrayal as they seek to ignore and toss out one of the most democratic votes in our history.

The BBC has long been telling us of the massive distrust of politicians and the breakdown of respect for the established order and yet make no comment about the lies, arrogant disregard, corruption and deceit that lie behind these manoeuvres to smash the referendum vote and keep the little people in their place.

Remember when the BBC trumpeted the socialist Occupy as they set about smashing the Establishment?…how different now when the revolution is perceived as a right-wing revolution.

Apparently the disillusionment of the masses can be safely ignored and the narrative that the old world order is in retreat from the forces of anti-politics and new insurgent People’s parties such as UKIP can be dismissed as dangerous talk that rouses and unleashes dark forces.  Want to smash capitalism, lynch the bankers and debag old Etonians, that’s fine…just don’t dare turn your back on the Empire.

The floor’s all yours….

I know we all want Brexit ASAP and want the new PM to sort out clause 50 soonest. However an amusing thought did occur to me, if we wait until November 11th then the two years will be up on 11/11/2018. What a very fitting way to commemorate the armistice by getting our freedom from the German Empire once again.

I re-read that and realise that “amusing” might appear disrespectful to our hero ancestors. It wasn’t meant to be. I should have used “ironic” possibly as a better word.

Interesting typo in The Telegraph (no, I am not referring to “emial”):

    4:21PM
‘United we stand, divided we fall’
The leader of the Labout party has sent a defiant emial to members of the Party in which he says: “United we stand, divided we fall”.

Sometimes it is what they don’t say that is important. In this case, it is what Boris said that raised my eyebrows. “I CANNOT”. Since when did a politician ever say “I cannot”. There is a very big back story to this and my feeling from listening to commentators and what both Mr Gove and Mr Johnson have said, is that Boris could not follow “the will of the people”, for he has said that in his opinion, mass uncontrolled immigration was not an issue when the people voted leave. With that thinking, Boris was not suitably qualified to become P.K. based on the leave vote, henceforth “I cannot” lead as P.M. Mr Gove, if he is to be trusted by what he has said, wishes to follow the needs of the electorate having found out what those around him really think about Brexit. Mrs May, is definitely not the one to be P.M. as she was a remainer and will not follow “the will of the people”.

The battle won’t stop if May gets elected and fudges on Brexit. The people have spoken. Any attempts to back down from a full Brexit in the best interests of the United Kingdom will just lead to further challenges from those politicians who believe in such a thing. The issue is not going to go away quietly, however much the Remainers want it to.

        Indeed.

There has been much talk from the Remain camp still about democracy and disenfranchisement and ‘unrest’.

Imagine then the ‘unrest’ there will be if people, usually silent, find their vote is reversed to suit those who simply make the most noise and control social media and the MSM edit suite? It will not end well.

I value many friendships, but some of what others are posting on my timeline now have not been allowed to pass, and it appears to be doing their heads in that their safe spaces are being invaded by previously presumed allies as ‘friendly fire’. Trouble is they pass on mutual whinges, bad jokes and comfort zone insults that they do not seem bright enough to twig may include some of their circle.

I have restricted myself to links, facts and humour and so far so good, it has worked well. Grudging apologies, muttered acceptance, silence but, sadly, a few unfriendings.

        If over this, no loss.

Guest Who, it has been the same with me on social media – thought provoking links, facts and some humour to leaven the debate. I’ve had no direct abuse yet.

But it is getting ridiculous now. One person I know, a Remainer and moderately well known philosopher, who posted a very well thought out indictment of those abusing the Leavers – has now been criticised for ‘not allowing people to mourn’. In ‘real life’ it’s pretty similar; people begin conversations assuming I am going to simply agree with their emotional Remain statements and when I counter them, gently, with an alternative view, I see confusion cross their faces.

One nice thing has been an elderly relation of mine who only gets his news from the BBC and who I have never heard criticise its coverage, came out the other night with ‘That Evan Davis is a bit biased, isn’t he?’

It can be civilised and, who knows, one may effect a shift in the other.

But I draw the line at folk who often can’t vote because they are not here telling me a bunch of things I am by ‘quoting’ the BBC more often than not.

Then it gets ‘challenging’. Especially if they are stuck in a rut, have lost money somehow, or feel their kids are more future bereft than my kids.

And as a non ‘metrosexual, young, white male of humour bypass’, I could now give a flying fig if their safe space is invaded or not. Comes into my timeline, direct or third party, all gloves off.

My Diageo shares have hit 2106. Apart from a brief spike in 2013, I don’t think they’ve ever been so high. So when is the meltdown going to start? This afternoon perhaps.

Meanwhile, an old friend living in Bermuda (I’m not envious, it’s ridiculously expensive and has a surprisingly high prison population) has drawn my attention to this:

Brexit has made life worse for people of colour

It might be true, but then again, it might not. I’m always suspicious of the way that “people of colour” and sometimes “people of no colour” seem to be able to find convenient examples of alleged abuse at will. “He looked at me in a “Go home now!” sort of way.” How long before another photograph of a “No dogs, no Irish, no Blacks” poster appears?

It’s also a shame that the newspaper picture does not show some of the more obnoxious signs on display in Trafalgar Square.

It’s those postal votes again. The FPÖ lost by just 31,000. German media are saying that no actual manipulation had been proven to have taken place but the constitutional court found that the possibility that manipulation had taken place was sufficient to overturn the vote. Wonder how Brexit will shift the vote? I liked the BBC map showing where those in league with devil have their support. AfD are supposedly on 4.9% – on current polls you could easily triple this figure. The ZDF will be bringing out a new Politbarometer. It will be interesting to see if Brexit has boosted the popularity of AfD.

Watching bits of Goves speech live now on Sky…schools have wall to wall big tellies now in the corridors and canteens, so you`re never far way from Big Bruv. The bloke sadly reminds me of Major or Brains…he`s no PM as he said…he`s a Chancellor though…and content and negotiations for leaving will be very good.
But he`s no Prime Minister…whereas Andrea Ledsom is.
Hope this is all tactics and they`ve worked out how to walk the line between their shit party and the plank that we`ll be sending the scurvy to walk in due course..not yet.
Boris at the helm, Andrea at the Capstan on the bridge and Michael plotting the course and reading the charts…now THAT would save us from the mutiny that`s otherswise inevitable.
Captain Haddock-Cameron marooned now…plenty room for the rest of them before we set sail to the Americas and the Orient as of old without them.
Hope they`re working towards this…anything other will be suspended sentences in what`s left of the naval dockyards.
And-to be honest-I`ve hardly a clue about Andrea-but she`s Giselas pal and we owe them both…Nigel will understand in time, he`s needed worldwide, not fuckin` Brussels.

If the Conservative party think they can get away with Theresa May they must be plain bonkers. She is a typical do nothing Remainiac with the courage of a wet sponge. Her record is one of appeasement and of allowing more invaders into this country than any enemy has ever achieved in the history of Britain.

As for Gove and his supposed stab into Boris’ back I have never heard so much nonsense in politics ever. Gove has put his name forward and for one I am pleased. If that meant that Boris gave up then he is a wimp.

There is however another candidate that I hope gets the prize and that is Andrea Leadsom MP. She is smart, pleasant, nobody’s fool, has been successful in the real world and seems to handle the louts of the media with a smile and common sense. More importantly she is a Brexiteer. A proper one not a Boris come lately one.

However if the Conservatives carry on with Theresa May they will herald the arrival of Nigel Farage on a white charger. He will not tolerate her leading the negotiation for Brexit and whilst he is not an MP he carries a lot of weight with the country, despite what the biased and far left wing BBC say. In short there will be trouble. I just cannot believe the Conservatives would be so stupid. Then again I can!

It is of course possible that May could get to the theoretical end of this Parliament in 2020 but I doubt it. Either way with UKIP clearly picking up a lot more ex Labour voters now, and them in such a mess anyway, a Conservative stitch up of the country’s referendum vote by putting May in charge will absolutely mean the decimation of the Conservative vote as well, whenever the next election is.

However there is one thing we can be sure of, we will exit the EU. May, if she gets in, could well fudge the negotiations but we will be out and one set of agreements can be ditched or altered by the next parliament once we have sovereignty back.

In the meantime the EU will go from arrogant supremacy to third world turmoil. It needn’t have and it shouldn’t have but the thing is, ‘ you can free the European folks from the dictators of Europe but you can’t stop the Europeans appointing another bunch’. I mean, just how many pompous Presidents with an Armagnac habit do they want over there?

        Dead right sir.
If we get Leadsom-yet AGAIN we`ll have a second woman PM…and in the time when neither Labour or the Libs etc have even bothered to follow one as THEIR leader.
In anywhere but the BBC and their house organ, this would be seen as sexist and ant-feminist.
        But Cologne Tumbleweed rules apply.
Had a look at the Mail earlier-and the Telegraph as well as the Economist. The Tory grandees who rather enjoyed us kicking at the stable door last Thursday now wish us to return to the abbatoir now.
Purpose served-Brexit types to be snuffed out, and the “nice people” put back on our saddles.
        High horses and nice vistas.
Will you tell them or shall I?…pretty clear that Dacre and their Barclay Brothers-as well as Murdoch-have come to a consensus…trash and reduce Farage to death, smear Goves face in the blood of a wounded clown for sport…and leave it all clear again to those who`d drive Tommy to his death or a long stretch inside…of course the BBC want the same-but the Daily Mail?…the Telegraph?
The selective op eds, the letters printed and random drive by pops at Gove , Nigel( and now the squonk fake tears over Boris…it was THEIR job to clatter him…not that Aberdeen oik who “doesn`t like experts”).
Think he deliberately sent that email though…so deserves a kicking for now.
        But brains will out.
The Eurinators are out, nasty and in full view as traitors and compromising all we won….they like to see rebellion -but it must happen in Westbourne Park and Crawley…NOT their part of London though.
Was shocked to see the venom from last weeks “allies” of ours-yet THEY dare to accuse Gove of short term opportunism…looks like we`ll be left with Andrea, Michael and Boris, Priti etc… or they`ll get Nigel and Tommy…only on steroids and with more than a leaflet or petition.
Fuck the Mail and the papers-only the few individuals who write good columns now.
WE`ll be on our own soon again-but it`ll be much easier now that in 2009 when we knew no better..

Was always interested in how Hitler gentrified the brownshirts and turned them into SS or horsemeat.
Not my fault if the Left now think that WE`RE their Brownshirts, and the Nice Tories think we`ll not make the Nazi ranks, so why listen?
VERY dangerous-the Brownshirts only wear rainbow shirts now.

Andrew Pierce in the Mail did, though, gave more insight into why Gove ditched Boris. It had to do with promises to Andrea Leadsom, a letter that didn’t get delivered, and BJ’s general incompetence that did it for him. The media might call it a stabbing, but BJ might have been saved from himself !

Anyone watch any part of Sky News 24 programme yesterday evening at about 2115? ‘Dred’ Dyke chairing a discussion group with debate over the generation gap between ‘Remain’ and ‘Leave’ camps. I was revolted in the patent ageism, discrimination and condemnation of democracy being peddled. At one point Dred turned to face the camera directly square on and in true Rwanda Broadcasting Corporations textbook incitement to murder style, said, (words to the effect of), – I’m over sixty but it sickens me that my generation has ruined the younger generations future and I apologise for my generation in having inflicted that on others (for voting Leave).
In view of the continuing mass destruction of accommodation set aside for so-called, ‘Refugees’ throughout Germany (http://newobserveronline.com/2015-1005-attacks-invader-centers/ & http://newobserveronline.com/217-attacks-on-invader-centers-in-2016/) maybe, in true Rwanda style and responding to the broadcasters incitement, we will see firebombing of care homes for the elderly in the UK. Anyone’s guess?

When I tell them I voted leave precisely for their future and that of my children to live in a democracy – where they can vote in and out their government, they look at me blankly as if I’ve just told them I am a replicant – and the real me is sitting at home.

Austria’s high court – nothing to do with Strasbourg – has ordered a re-run of the presidential election. Norbert Hofer, a sort of Faragealike with knobs on, will now probably gain the votes he should have been credited with the first time….and the first major cracks in the EUmachine will appear. A power bloc embracing all the eastern Europeans, Austria, Holland and Denmark will challenge Brussels, support Brexit by opening trade talks and encourage open rebellion within France and Germany. Oh, and Carney will take early retirement. Sorted.
