The BBC…undermining democracy

As reports continue to come in of businesses booming on the low pound the BBC had to think of a solution to the good news news after trying to terrify us with tales of how terrible the falling pound would be.  The BBC’s answer?  To warn us that the pound could go up as well….so don’t think the good times will last for ever.

So after having spent the last few months telling us how apocalyptic the fall of the pound would be the BBC has switched tack and is now warning how apocalyptic a rise in the pound could be.

And as the IMF backtracks and admits that the UK will have the fastest growing economy in Europe this year the BBC’s headline?

IMF says global economic recovery ‘weak and precarious’

Had the IMF’s verdict been that the UK was heading towards recession you can guarantee the BBC would have headlined that…but they sideline the good news.  Here is the BBC’s very low key line on the IMF’s report on the UK…

The IMF also warned that the Brexit decision will hit the UK economy as it halved its 2017 growth forecast to just 1.1%.

The Fund raised its 2016 forecast slightly as UK retail spending has held up better than expected after the June vote to leave the European Union.

What’s missing from that?  The BBC reports the IMF’s forecast that the economy will slow in 2017 but why has the BBC missed out the verdict for 2016…that the UK will have been the fastest growing economy in the world as reported by the Telegraph?

IMF crowns UK world’s fastest growing major economy, but hard Brexit fears push pound to 31-year low

The BBC prefers this heading in its latest update on the IMF report:

Maybe Boris is right about the BBC:

Boris blasts the BBC’s ‘shamelessly anti-Brexit’ reports: Foreign Secretary hits out at ‘infuriating’ coverage

Boris Johnson hit out at the BBC yesterday over its ‘shamelessly anti-Brexit’ coverage.

The Foreign Secretary told delegates at the Tory conference that the way the Corporation had reported on the EU referendum result was ‘infuriating’.

Don’t forget that our floating pound shows just how absurd the euro is for the PIGS countries. Set free from the euro Greece etc could start to recover. BBC/Brussels would regard that as a bad thing .

Alan you may have reached them. Or maybe they are coming to realise their pensions are at risk while they continue to spin every story to make Brexit sound negative.
Cos 4pm R4 news was indeed “The IMF now says the UK will have fastest growing economy in Europe this year”

That can’t have gone down well with the Marxist luvvies in Beeby la la land.

Baron Hall of Birkenhead: “Fastest growing economy indeed, not if I can help it. Continue with the Fuxit plan, full steam ahead my pretty ones. Mwuh, ha, ha, ha. (ad inf).”

Hall sits on throne made from the bones of non licence fee paying pensioners with cushions of woven gold thread stuffed with million euro notes and sends telepathic signals to the hive.

Like it was obvious to me that yesterday the BBC and most MSM spun a narrative of “chancellor says economy will be on a roller coaster”, when in fact the actual original video of BBC Breakfast interview shows to he was trying to calm alam by saying although due to speculation business SENTIMENT might be on a BIT of a roller coaster, he was going to get to Brexit as soon as possible cos that would bring certainty.
…At 4.10pm BBC world service ran the negative narrative, going to the extent of playing Paul Johnson instead of the actual interview and then said “sorry that was a mistake, we have the wrong clip loaded”

Not for the first time, the BBC seems to be fully in step with the rest of the Leftist media (which, sadly, now has to include Sky). It is promoting a relentlessly negative view of Brexit, to such an extent that it is woven into every conceivable programme.

That said, Boris’s opinion is worthless as it is likely to be entirely reversed the following day.

PM had Laura Kuennsberg fretting over Brexit and its fearsome consequences for public sectoe, EU spouters like-funnily enough-herself and Eddie back behind the sofa in the studio.
Theresa may may not have had children…but Laura and the like are like the mithering nieces who want nannys fruit cakes by way of comfort.
Laura was DESPERATE to get May to “feel the fear” as she did…don`t you care at ALL, mother May I?
May was patient and tolerant, got out the Werthers and patted the Scottish sniveller on her dopey head.
Utter bias…relentless moaning on…and if May even DID a U-turn and made herself electorally poisonous=the BBC and Labour would only yellt that “you can`t trust the Tories and their piecrust promises.
As for Laura-can anyone imagine her EVER asking Hollande or Merkel about the coming Euro crash?…the tragic immigration numbers?…the coming storms as nation after nation sloughs off Junckers boozy breath and go independent.
No-course not-wouldn`t even enter her head.

Just listening to TV BBC News 6 PM, were the presenter and reporters are clearly annoyed about the state of the pound! They can’t hide their confusion! There’s something unique about a BBC journalist! They give one the impression that at home they are perhaps so paranoid about everything being “just perfect” in their life and that they take that paranoia down the road to broadcasting house and I must admit, it tends to show in most if not all of their reports re Brexit/Sterling/and which chair they are allowed to allowed sit in in the green room or why someone else in the office refuses to put up a glossy photo of Mr Attenborough on their locker/office wall! Or to question their ability to understand plain English when they have to cast their eyes upon “Brexit is Brexit” every time they have their nightly nightmare!

They give me the impression that they are a special species who love to be in control of every bit of news! They remind me of those BBC reporters who delight in reporting on climate-change (great holiday to the Sun every other week) and because of their twisted/deluded reporting hope to spread fear and dread throughout the British public (so, please, please, will every one donate to everything that Mr Attenborough tells you and you will go to heaven kind a mentality)!

I’m afraid that if the pound goes up – those BBC reporters are “yippeeeeeeeee, now that wont half scare those stupid/ignorant/low-life, knuckle-dragging idiots licence payers who hand over their hard earned cash to us who pretend that we need their financial support when really we don’t, BUT if the pound keeps upsetting us BBC reporters as it is doing in the green room, like it is today, then we believe that our employer must raise the licence fee to around £250 per year – at least!
