Clinton was the wrong, and equally tainted, candidate, the Media gave her unquestioning support, and the Liberal elite takes it for granted that it is correct about everything and can rule on without a regard to the real world…..
Donald Trump is moving to the White House, and liberals put him there
‘Democratic leaders made Hillary their candidate even though they knew about her closeness to the banks, her fondness for war, and her unique vulnerability on the trade issue – each of which Trump exploited to the fullest. They chose Hillary even though they knew about her private email server. They chose her even though some of those who studied the Clinton Foundation suspected it was a sketchy proposition.
To try to put over such a nominee while screaming that the Republican is a rightwing monster is to court disbelief. If Trump is a fascist, as liberals often said, Democrats should have put in their strongest player to stop him, not a party hack they’d chosen because it was her turn. Choosing her indicated either that Democrats didn’t mean what they said about Trump’s riskiness, that their opportunism took precedence over the country’s well-being, or maybe both.
Clinton’s supporters among the media didn’t help much, either. It always struck me as strange that such an unpopular candidate enjoyed such robust and unanimous endorsements from the editorial and opinion pages of the nation’s papers,
How did the journalists’ crusade fail? The fourth estate came together in an unprecedented professional consensus. They chose insulting the other side over trying to understand what motivated them. They transformed opinion writing into a vehicle for high moral boasting. What could possibly have gone wrong with such an approach?
Put this question in slightly more general terms and you are confronting the single great mystery of 2016. The American white-collar class just spent the year rallying around a super-competent professional (who really wasn’t all that competent) and either insulting or silencing everyone who didn’t accept their assessment. And then they lost. Maybe it’s time to consider whether there’s something about shrill self-righteousness, shouted from a position of high social status, that turns people away.
The even larger problem is that there is a kind of chronic complacency that has been rotting American liberalism for years, a hubris that tells Democrats they need do nothing different, they need deliver nothing really to anyone – except their friends on the Google jet and those nice people at Goldman.’
Chris Evans has just read out all Hillary’s ‘crimes’ from a summary in a newspaper just now on Radio 2.
Why didn’t we know all this? he asked.
Why are they just pretending to know now? I ask.

Blimey, the BBC better dispatch squads from Trending, Magazine, pop up, Newsbeat, Toss off, etc to catch the half dozens of angry protestors Paul Mason has dragged along to express outrage at the Graun lack of team playing.
If they are not all still roaming the USA looking for disaffected young Americans to work up.

Well they’re certainly doing their best at the moment, the main news “Anti-Trump protests sweep US cities”

Sweeps? Crikey, it makes it sound like you can’t move in the USA without seeing protesters.

These protestors are a joke like the still complaining Remoaners over here, what do they think will happen if they protest, that the USA will say,”okay we better re-run the election” ?

No. I think they would like to appeal to the British High court.

Not as bad as Kay Burley from Sky in one of the American towns in the ‘rust belt’ actually stood in the centre slagging off the inhabitants as thick white working class who don’t know what they voted for (ring any bells)!
I tweeted the town twitter account and told them she was there slagging them off. Not seen her on TV today

A protest against the result of the democratic process is really a protest against democracy itself. Someone should call out these protestors and their media supporters on that, as they should have done with Brexit protests and the manipulations to overturn the result of the referendum. In this week of remembrance these dunderheads should be reminded over and over again of the great sacrifices made by previous generations to defend freedom and democracy. Without democracy the Western nations would have nothing worth having.

This isn’t the Guardian’s lack of team playing, it is simply the new strategy. Blame the messenger, not the message.
The assumption is that we are stupid.

Two sane comments that popped up on my FB timeline, in amongst all the Leftist whining –
“Trump is the natural result of the Left’s anti-white, anti-American, anti-male, politically correct rhetoric.
Turns out if you demonise the people you disagree with, paint them as racists and oppressors, then tell them that all of their achievements are as a result of some unearned “privilege”, they will create a counter revolution.
Trump is a direct consequence of your actions, your rhetoric and your identity politics. You made your bed, now lie in it”
And –
“When all the hard-working, tax-paying, law-abiding, everyday people get so fed up of you calling them “racists”, “xenophobes”, “bigots”, “misogynists”, that they go out and vote against your candidate, do you:
A. Re-evaluate your personal conduct and strategy of convincing people to share your political views?
Or
B. Call them “racists”, “xenophobes”, “bigots”, “misogynists”?
According to my timeline, most of you chose B. and that’s why your candidate lost!”

I like it, MH. I joined the Deplorables FB page. The comments were witty (apart from the usual profanity all pages get). And they responded to the racist comments by pointing out facts about Hillary. They, unlike the American, and our very own, MSM latched onto the many Wikileaks articles. And disseminated them to friends etc.
They, reported that whilst Clinton paid for big name stars to bring in people at her rallies, Trump brought in thousands just by himself and running mate Pence. They passed on articles, freely available to the MSM, that Trump had tens of thousands of followers online and listening, online, to his speeches. Clinton had mere thousands and a few hundred listening to her speeches online.
They showed videos of racist comments by Clinton – ie calling blacks “niggers” and ghetto trash. Whereas Trump has coloured people, Hispanic people etc following him……
And the MSM STILL wonders why Hillary lost?

Who else remembers the BBC etc mocking Trumps lack of a “ground game”?
No party apparatus, no experts, no starbratz to warble for him?
The fearsome Democratic Party Machine would crush the amateur Trump and his Heath Robinson old school methods using the nations students, political graduates, activists and paid-up professional.
How could she lose?…great game plan, tactics and strategy in place, thick sheep all ready to be penned, nipped, chipped and fucked.
Very Wizard Of Oz indeed.
But Trump just won…without any of their psephology, their research, their state funding, experts and limitless dodgy money. So democracy can no longer be just bought, your polls and tactics waste our money and our time, We just fucking HATE you, and will seek your deaths as you`ve been seeking ours.
Give this lot no house room-time now to sandblast any passing lefties you meet. Uttawankazz!

Intersting you should mention this.
One of the American TV soothsayers actually said in a shocked voice when Trump looked like winning “They are voting like a minority” Which is essentially an admission and relevation at the same time. If you open the pandora’s box of identity politics, then you should not be surprised that a white identity emerges as a response. If blacks can only be represented properly by black politicians, why shouldn’t whites think the same way.
Political correctness also seems to be the reason why the political elites and media have no clue about what ordinary voters think. Poetic justice indeed.
During the last General Election, I remember C4’s Snow accosting people in the street and asking them what they thought about immigration. The reluctance of many to give any opinion at all reminded me of the reaction I got when I approached ordinary people in the Soviet Union. They were uncertain and did not want any contact with Westeners which could be twisted and have serious consequences. Obviously the people Snow approached realised they could be denounced by Snow as “racists” on national media and did not want to take the risk. Snow no doubt thought these simple folk were overawed by his illustrious presence and got a little tongue-tied. No wonder ordinary people warm to Trump as he “speaks their language”. I hope Trump does not get Carswellised and take the endless prattling about “tone” and the “coarsening of the debate” seriously.
Surely no one has done more to coarsen language than the BBC.

OK, read the article. Big deal. Its another piece of BS. But what struck me is the button at the bottom right “Reuse this content”.
For the life of me, I can’t think how to reuse the content in electronic form. If it was paper, there might be some use though.

VD of the BBC, is in full flight getting Muslims from America, and possible the rest of the world, to comment on how afraid they are of Trump’s America. Good. Its time Muslims feel a a little afraid to set off bombs in the West, or use automatic weapons on innocents, while shouting “Allahu Ackbar”.
VD of course didn’t bother to ask how Christians felt in Islamic countries. Christian women being raped, Christians mass murdered, beheaded, crucified. Nope this doesn’t happen because Islam is the RoP.

Yes, because plan B has now been given the go ahead. Soros et all will now finance unrest and protests all over and what it wants to achieve is martial law and keep obama in the white house. If you listen to Al Capona’s concession speech you will notice that one poit she said something that went a bit like this: ‘Never never stop fighting for something when you believe you are right’.

The protests we are seeing regarding Brexit and Trump are the inevitable consequence of wrapping children in cotton wool and preventing them from experiencing failure from a young age. These weepy snowflakes look on in disbelief when they don’t get their own way; clutching the winner’s medal they got at primary school for coming ninth in the egg and spoon race.
A lesson delayed is learned much harder in later life.

Contrast and compare the young men of 1916 with that lot. You are right .It is childhood delayed and their parents are to blame.
The young men are particularly pathetic. I am surprised that any woman wants anything to do with them but then most of them are weepy .
I am not surprised that the rest of the world thinks that the Europeans have lost it.
On another matter a Chinese friend suggested that Trump will recognise the reality that only three other nation states count. China, Russia and India and that the US will make this the central feature of policy. As for the EU? No longer matters much.

As usual Germany and the EU are smothering themselves in contradiction.
The German Defence Minister van de Leyen laments Trump’s lack of concern for NATO, says Trump is falling for Putin’s divide and conquer policy and in the next breath pushes the European Army agenda. As usual, pretending that the EU is a state by acquiring the trappings of a state – a flag, an anthem, a parliament, a single market, and now an army is simply par for the course. No one asks if it would be ever be capable of defending the EU Play-state.

So, I see the usual regressive brownshirts are out on the streets of America ‘protesting’ the democratic will of the people. Embittered snowflakes, angry that someone (the American people) has had the temerity to finally say ‘no’ to them and they naturally refuse to accept it. This is why regressives are far, far more dangerous than any number of imaginary ‘far right’ phantasms the left constantly dream up to justify their own totalitarian absolutism.
Time to clean out the fetid corruption of the left from all levels of government, media and culture. It is a rank cancer which is long overdue for a culling.

It’s not just in America these spoiled children are kicking their toys out of the pram; it’s over here as well. At the moment Jeremy Vine is interviewing the organiser of the British protests. She sounds as though she’s about twelve and has that irritating inflection that forces her voice to rise at the end of every sentence. It always sounds as though she’s asking a question. “He’s a racist,” she squeaks. Well, that’s it then; cardinal sin number one.
Of course this is the BBC and in the interests of balance and impartiality the Beeb have someone in the other corner. Believe it or not they’ve chosen a chap who represents Democrats abroad! There’s BBC balance for you.

To help the silver surfers amongst us who maybe a little behind the curve; care of gracious Lord Wiki:-
Generation Snowflake, or Snowflake Generation, is a term that refers to young people, typically university or college students, who seek to avoid emotionally charged topics or dissenting ideas and opinions. This may involve support of safe spaces and trigger warnings in the university setting.
‘Generation Snowflake members “are genuinely distressed by ideas that run contrary to their worldview”; they are more likely than previous generations of students to report that they have mental health problems. A UK Higher Education Policy Institute survey of university students in 2016 “found that 76% would ban speakers who had views that offended them, while half (48%) wanted universities to be declared safe spaces where debate can only take place within strict rules.” This is coupled with a strong sense of entitlement.
It’s true that our children have never had it so good, and some have never known anything but a status quo of swimming in surplus. It’s true that, for some of these children, losing fast wi-fi is a crisis and being offended on the internet is a disaster

Its strange, yesterday Wikipedia showed that Donald Trump had won the College Graduate vote, and Hillary the uneducated vote. Today this part of the survey has been replaced by a mainstream media poll of a few thousand voters, showing the exact opposite.
I wonder if anyone hear knows how the original survey even got onto Wikipedia. It now shows an illogical correlation between wealth and College Education, which implies that the less education you get, the richer you become.
It does seem extremely important to left-wing dogma, that political parties which are supposed to represent the intelligent educated well off, are instead supported by most of the less well educated. While a Political Party which is supposed to support the poor and uneducated, is supported by most of the well educated.
I don’t believe it?

Wikipedia?
Wikipedia does not operate in a uniform manner.
Wikipedia part A, most of the encyclopaedia.
This is created and maintained by people who voluntarily give up their spare time.
Without pay, and in most cases, without thanks.
These editors genuinely attempt to do a good job of providing the facts.
Any errors that creep in are not due to lack of effort.
Wikpedia part B, the historical and political part.
Some of these articles are created and maintained by people who are working.
Being paid by those with vested interests in the articles being distorted.
These editors intend to lie, distort, mislead and omit in any way they can to produce a travesty of the facts which suits their employer and/or their beliefs.
Frequently there are two opposing groups fighting over the same article.

BBC 24 Hour News TV. Today at 2.47pm :
Female presenter conducts a viewers’ question and answer session regarding Trump’s election.
One viewer asks: ‘Could there be a World War as a result?” Presenter asks a Republican guest for her views. The guest dismisses the possibility.
Presenter then responds, “We shall see”.
Obviously, the presenter agrees with the viewer’s concerns. Typical BBC Democrat narrative support.

At least that is the view you would take if you swallowed all the trash from the Beeb and the rest of the MSM because the way they are going on you’d be forgiven for thinking anybody voted for him at all, it’s all wall to wall, “progressives” and “liberals” and “snowflakes” and “feminists” etc etc literally crying their eyes out and stomping their feet because a democratic vote didn’t go their way.
As one video I watched today suggested, bugger off to North Korea that way your candidate will win the election every time

Liberalism should be classified as a mental illness.
I mentioned earlier the laughably uneducated, yet unjustifiably sneering and condescending, conversations I’ve had to listen to at work from low-info champagne liberals who think that because they read a broadsheet they’re political visionaries. Some of the highlights today include the usual claims of “all of Trump’s voters are racists”, the typically lily-livered lefty attempt to show ‘balance’ by saying that they can understand why people wanted change…but they should have voted the same way anyway, because it’s better the devil you know. Unsurprisingly they are also similarly uninformed and prejudiced about Brexit.
The one I found the most curious, and truly shows how much of a naive and insulated bubble that the modern leftist inhabits, was when one of them (who later said that she wouldn’t be particularly upset if the new leader of the free world gets assassinated – liberal tolerance on display once again) claimed that Trump only ran for president for a bit of publicity, has never had any experience in politics, and has never delivered an articulate or coherent statement until his victory speech. It’s the same lie that many in the mainstream media have been feeding its gullible audience.
If only they would have watched this video, they might have sounded a little less bovine:
As you can see, not only has Trump been politically active for many years – and has been reassuringly and commendably consistent as well as accurate over the decades – but it was the very same mainstream media that gave him this platform to begin with, under the impression no doubt that Trump would let them keep their unchallenged access if he won. What they didn’t realise is what everyone should have realised from the start, and what Trump stated repeatedly in the 80’s – that if he ran for President, he would do so to serve the public and the country, not to serve the establishment.
Liberals live in an echo chamber which as a deliberate consequence of its limitations prevents other views – not to mention facts – from ever making it to the surface of their thinkpiece. It’s therefore not surprising that their solution is to create even more safe-spaces and, when they’re defeated, to throw their toys out of the pram and show themselves up as the pseudo-intelligentsia with little behind the eyes that they truly are.

QT tonight was an exercise in the absurdity of liberal posturing. Firstly Trump is not our leader. Secondly why should he or any American give a toss what any of us think any more.
This is a new time of realpolitik and that is going to be really hard for the snowflakes and the liberal to grasp.
So of course Trump will talk to Putin and to Chinese leaders and Indian ones. These are the countries that matter and all this European nonsense about shared values and not endorsing Trump unless he apologises for just about everything he has ever said is bullshit. Merkel and Hollande and the silly little Yvette Cooper just do not get it.
it is going to be about power and self interest and nation states doing deals. Maybe we can have a small role maybe not but the Europeans are about to learn that reality always wins in the end.
Liberalism is over. Dead in the water and the BBC and it’s moaning fellow travelers had better face up to it before they are over whelmed.
The more intelligent on the left might start to grasp that Trump is on their side in wanting an end to globalisation but so high and mighty are most of them that something he might have done or said that was not PC will prevent them
