Time for another one of these….any bias about?  Perhaps some careless talk?…such as Emma Barnett talking of ‘IRA soldiers’ giving the murderous terrorists a massive amount of undue respect that the BBC never affords to British soldiers whom they hound at every opportunity….Barnett, as she rejected claims that there was a witch-hunt against British troops in NI, never once mentioning Phil Shiner’s fall and the false claims he made that the BBC peddled as fact for years.

Woohoo, fierce criticism of the judging on the BBC SCD website. Ore, clearly not the best dancer, was placed top of the leader board (his parents in the audience) – and much to the disgust of posters. Clearly an agenda (in the name of diversity) for him to get to the top.

The BBC scowls at seventies telly like Pan’s People, yet today does a show where women enjoy dressing up in little clothes and having men gawp at them.

They do look good if they are your cup of tea.

Another Deb, Deb here and I too go to the spoiler website for Strictly. I do find it uncanny how alike we are. Mind, I do still watch Strictly and watch how the audience is manipulated.

              It is
              -the choice of music
-the choice of clothes and make up, eg Lesley Joseph’s after she started to do rather well, the make up made her look worse and the clothes more horrible.
-the judges’s comments eg Claudia last night and Darcy’s comments about her and AJ not connecting. Hard to quantify but enough to justify lower marking. Also I think the judges’ comments are scripted before the show and only if there is a major slip do the judges adjust their comments.
-the choice of partner. The BBC were determined to have a black person in the final so put Oti with a good dance and Ore with a popular pro.
-camera angles, don’t show feet if they are not very good but the BBC want that couple to do well
              – if it is a couple the BBC want kept then the clip of their dancing shows the best bit, if they want rid then show a mishap. I knew Claudia was leaving last night when the resume from the previous week showed AJ slipping slightly when holding Claudia.

The list goes on and on. Nobody knows how many public votes anyone receives and even the comments on digital spy website could be placed by the BBC’s PR department. I no longer have trust in anything the BBC does.

It is only charitable if they actually *gave* the house to the asylum seekers ie. signed over the deeds. Did they do that? I can’t bare to listen to it to find out.

Even if they did that, which is unlikely, they would have to own the house outright ie. no mortgage, in which case they must be better off then they appear as they need somewhere to live as well of course.

Otherwise they just bought it to rent out to asylum seekers, which just makes them ordinary landlords and not particularly chartitable at all.

And this is why, having tried in the past, I don’t any longer bother with making complaints to the BBC.

On the specific issue noted here of the BBC blaming Brexit for the death Mr Jozwik – I note that just this week pro-EU Polly Toynbee in argument with pro-Brexit Toby Young on the BBC’s Politics Show used this case and the standard BBC assumptions about it to state boldly “(The Brexit vote)… led to a death!”

(I have to admit our Polly may have been referring to St Jo Cox – but the context was post-vote ‘hate crimes’)

It is my assumption that the BBC provides arguments and talking points for the Left and here was a case in point.

The racial element of the incident was always going to be murky, the accused, known to be under age, would therefore be given anonymity – so how on earth was the public in any informed way going to be able to judge the racial aspect ? For all we know he might be a fellow Pole.. or.. or.. or.. we just aren’t going to be told. It’s a secret. That element of doubt has given the Left free licence (to coin a phrase) to claim whatever they want with a fully Left-compliant BBC backing them up in their claims.

BBC getting worse with its left wing bias on radio 4. This morning we have ‘Broadcasting House’ and an item on the Supreme Court being ‘hideously white’ a phrase we learn was proudly coined by the biased BBC originally.

So they find a black race hustling lawyer, who is allowed to claim that the entire legal system is ‘racist’ simply because it existed at the time of slavery !

We are told that competence is now less important than diversity, and the Fascist continue to hammer the nails in the coffin of a country which soon won’t be worth living in.

Of course there is no mention of the fact that black judge Constance Briscoe was dismissed as a judge for perverting the course of justice. She was one of the first black female recorders in England and Wales.

Not much chance of getting a Black supreme court judge when they are ending up in prison, and disbarred !

No if you hung in there, they brought in a black specialist lawyer, who broke their fantasies, cos he said he can’t go to Supreme Court cos he is top in his speciality only, but that top judges from time to time are black, but then they retire. He certainly didn’t say “look at me I’m a victim”

Now when it comes to that 11 member panel no-one should be arguing that at leat 8 of them should not be white …If we accept that 86% of population is white and only 3% is black.
So once you have ONE black judge in 11 then they’d be over presented.
Now thinking about BME which we could say they are 14% so ONE BME judge on panel would be under-representation, but 2 would be over-representation.

Now remember the % we are using is for today’ population, but today’s top judges are made up of people who went to law school 40 years ago. So of course top judges ethnicity doesn’t represent today’s youth ethnicity.

You could argue that Jewish people are over-represented ..should we cut their numbers down ?

This is exactly the point I keep making in response to “diversity targets”. They always point at the top levels of organisations and scream “horrendously white”, but the top levels of organisations are also “horrendously old”.

Because the changing diversity demographics of the UK has been rapid over the last 25 years, any attempt to use averages and/or look at organisations leadership profiles, to create “diversity targets” can only lead to racist targets effectively shutting the door for many capable young people just because they are white. It simple statistics.

The BBC of course is a prime example of this, but then the BBC has become a racist organisation.

      – I’m betting that normal black people are saying the same as me that “those people don’t represent me”.
The BBC isn’t white biased, it is BBC ‘London Media Bubbleworld clique’ biased. Being from Scunthorpe I never hear my local accent ever on the National BBC, we get the mostly London based luvvies shoved don our throats.

…Why’s the Flabbot on all the time ?
Is it that she’s the one the Labour Party always put forward, knowing that if they put a whit man forward he’d be allowed less of a free ride by the BBC ?

One of the most shocking statements made on BBC QT this week came from Nigel Farage, who said that come 2019 we were likely to “end up with a Norway type deal”. To my mind that’s not Brexit at all. James Delingpole and Isabel Oakeshott also discuss the prospects for a “Brexit means Brexit” http://www.podcastone.com/pg/jsp/program/episode.jsp?programID=968&pid=1694348 Listen from 25:20 to 38.00 mins for Oakeshott’s very insightful thoughts on this.

Delingpole says “we won the battle but we’re about to lose the war”. Oakeshott replies that “In the last week to ten days I have sensed a creeping unease amongst Brexiteers as to whether this is going to work out”. She goes on to explain that a deliberately created vacuum, an information gap, has given very organised and very empowered opponents of Brexit (Blair, Major, Clegg etc) time to derail it. Delingpole agrees saying “an entrenched establishment is hijacking the whole process”.

Farage, Oakeshott and Delingpole are all correct. We are being sold down the river by the ovewhelmingly pro-EU elites. This may not end well.

And here’s a bit of wishful thinking by Delingpole –

“Somewhere right now in a parallel universe, Andrea Leadsom, not Theresa May, is prime minister of Britain; Article 50 has long since been triggered; Michael Gove is in the cabinet; Nigel Farage is in the Lords – and a member of the government; there’s none of this Communistic nonsense about citizen pay monitors on the board of big companies; government waste is being slashed; Mark Carney has been sent back to Canada with his tail between his legs; there’s an extralicious Special Relationship forming with President-Elect Trump; and there’s no talk of Hard Brexit or Soft Brexit or even Red White and Blue Brexit because it’s not up for debate – basically we’re out and if the Euroweenies don’t want to trade with us on reasonable terms then sod ’em, we’ve got bigger better places to go.”

Is it my imagination or there has been a massively accelerated number of Muslim atrocities perpetrated against Western ideals and values in more locations around the World just recently? The BBC saw fit to broadcast the one in Turkey where 23 were murdered but, to my knowledge they did not consider worthy of reporting that 25 were murdered in St Mark’s Cathedral, the Orthodox Christian church in Cairo. Presumably, it works on the basis that Muslims murdering Muslims in Turkey is ok to broadcast whereas, news of Muslims killing Christians should be restricted in case the Licence Fee payer deduced that Muslims kill Christians. Now that would be odd wouldn’t it? It certainly would not accord with the illusion maintained by the BBC that Islam is a religion of peace. Thank goodness for other sources of proper news. If we didn’t have that, we would all continue to think that Islam is ‘warm and wonderful’ and no threat to anyone.

Yes , muslims killing muslims presents a problem for the small minds of Beeboids. In the case of the istanbul bomb, the evidence seems that it is Kurdish terrorists, call them PKK, call them PAK or whatever. The problem for Beeboids is that the world is too complicated for their simple minds to comprehend .

BBC trying to block Murdoch taking over Sky because it fears a FOX news type output.

    The comments are very telling:

The BBC can only succeed in polluting the minds of the UK viewing public with its pernicious marxist effluence, if it has no competition. So of course it tantrums at anyone that threatens its, near monopoly, sized portion of the pie.

If the BBC are against it, it’s probably a good thing.

The BBC is a biased Marxist leftwing news agency disproportionately funded by a law enforced tax. They are the last ones to preach.

The UK needs a more unbiased right of centre news channel. Our MSM is in danger of becoming just like the American MSM, totally bias, not objective and politicised.

I have to agree. I feel very sorry for anyone who has lost a limb, and I am happy that she has such a good job. But it does not make me a bad person to find the sight of an amputated stump unpleasant. There is no excuse for it, a long sleeve would hide it, and I can only conclude that I am being punished in some way by being forced to face her disability when I have no desire to.

      Typical left wing agitprop.

Countryfile has just reminded us what they spend our licence fee on. After a piece on evicting council farm tenants (cos of the nasty Tory cuts) they then send presenters up to Scotland on the public purse to look at wild cats. This is one of their favourite jollies and this week they have found a wild cat, called it Jake and have placed straw bales in a derelict barn to give it something cosy to sleep on.

Tom ‘Disaster’ Heaps was doing the ‘green’ thing and recycling his old story about council farms. Surely if they were introduced in England, (but not Nothern Ireland), to solve a post-WW1 problem isn’t it possible that they are no longer needed? What is happening to the ones that are being sold? Wouldn’t it make more sense for young farmers to work as managers on big farms? As modern farming is so multi-faceted it seems a lot for a young graduate/farmer’s child to take on without gaining experience in a junior role. Why are councils making money anyway? They aren’t businesses. Why not close schools and convert them into offices to rent at high prices; income sink becomes income source!
So many unanswered questions. Only one ‘Heapiean’ solution – more public money please!

So, like grey squirrels, is this a case where the indigenous population is being outbred by unwanted invading species? Odd how there is no debate that this is a bad thing when the MSM is talking about native British flora and fauna, but are silent when it is the actual British people to whom it is happening.

“Did Clinton win more votes than any white man in history?”

Why are we still funding this prejudiced shite? Plus they’re still pushing the fallacy that Clinton ‘won’ the popular vote when this has not been verified, and probably never will be since it would prove how many illegals voted for Clinton and would give Trump the popular vote as well, along with probably a larger college victory.

Trump won the Electoral College vote, and that is the only system which counts as a win.

The popular vote would matter if that is how the President were elected, but it isn’t, so it doesn’t.

There is just no point for a Republican to bother to vote in New York or California, so we will never know how many votes the Donald would have got under a popular vote system. He barely bothered to campaign there or spend any money there, because they will always go Democrat.

It is simply a left wing plot to delegitimise the Trump win by floating the idea that he did not “really” win the election, when in fact he did win under the system the Constitution put in place. It is typical of the hard left agitprop we can expect from the Democrats and their MSM bitches.

But Clare cut her off after 3 mins.
And LeftMob dream that the BBC should cover Islam more, but can you see how can you cover these religions without exposing their negatives.
That’s probably why the BBC buries religion away on Sunday morning.

With JWs the issue can be child abuse. I met a guy in Italy who was crying cos his family was shunning him, he explained that he’d tried to expose abuse but the Church had closed ranks and turned on him. I assured him I’d tell my BBC contacts. I assumed that they would get into investigative reporting, but they never got back to me or the guy. I guess in 2008 I still trusted the Beeb on every except Climate and Green issues.

You’re more likely to have walked on the moon than to have won a third Tour de France. Yet the man who achieved it this year doesn’t even make the BBC’s shortlist of SIXTEEN for their annual sporting achievement award. There are disabled equestriennes and lesbian hockey players aplenty, but the bloke who wins one of the toughest, most prestigious annual individual events in the world can go hang. I know this is old news by now, and I only found out via a question down the pub quiz, but it is absolutely astounding. It sums up the general state of the credibility of the BBC i.e. lost & gone forever.

David Vance has got a twitter poll running at the moment – Who is the most loathsome Conservative MP? Nicky Morgan, Anna Soubry or Ken Clarke. It’s a tough choice. In the current context I would go for Soubry, but Clarke’s longevity and persistence swung it for me. I voted for Ken. Current standings – Nicky Morgan 9%. Anna Soubry 62%. Ken Clarke 29%.

I agree about Clarke, although Soubry is a strong candidate. What about Amber Rudd? Phil Hammond? I know he’s no longer an MP but Cameron should be included.

However, there should be a poll for decent Conservative MPs, maybe not so many to choose from but to start with Jacob Rees-Mogg, Andrea Leadsom, Pritti Patel, Iain Duncan-Smith, David Davis, Liam Fox, Michael Gove, Peter Bone, Bill Cash. And bring back Esther McVeigh (give her a safe seat).
