The Revolution will be televised…and just as well.

Look at this video of the EDL rally and you can see that it completely contradicsts the heroic Islamic girl’s tale…that she was coming to the rescue of a woman in a hijab, that she was under attack and that there was no minute of silence…..

At around 29:20-29:40 the speaker on stage announces the beginning of the minute’s silence…. “We’re going to start the minute’s silence. Please bow your heads… [inaudible] in remembrance of the five people that died in Stockholm… [inaudible] very, very seriously whose lives have been brought to an end.”

So one lie out of the way.

Next the mysterious girl in the hijab…there is one in the video but nowhere near any threat, she is in no danger or under any kind of attack or abuse.

Ms Khan, from Birmingham, said she stepped forward when another woman shouted “Islamophobe” at EDL members in Centenary Square on Saturday.

She said the woman was “quite intimidated” and was being told she was “not British” and being questioned about Islam.

Ms Khan said despite her smile in the photograph “it wasn’t a pleasant interaction”.

“His aggression can be seen by the picture,” she said

You can see the Hijab’d girl at 30 mins (left of screen) not surrounded by EDL ‘thugs’ but by her own side…everything is peaceful until they start shouting about ‘Fascist scum’…you can see our heroine standing in the background not interacting at all until the shouts start and she joins in…and at 31:15 heads off into the crowd to have her little chat….

And so what of our heroine herself…is she being viciously abused and insulted?  Doesn’t look like it from the video (33 mins 30 secs)…the reason she is smiling is because she is having a nice chat with the EDL fellows who are not in any way trying to intimidate her…they didn’t ‘mob’ her…she walked in amongst them.  You can see she is led away by police soon after.

So when the BBC continues with its lies you know they are lies….

EDL viral photo woman denies minute’s silence interruption

A woman pictured smiling at the leader of the English Defence League (EDL) has denied an allegation she interrupted a minute’s silence for terror victims.

The image of Saffiyah Khan’s confrontation with Ian Crossland, in Birmingham, went viral.

EDL supporters claimed on social media Ms Khan was in a group that interrupted a tribute for Stockholm attack victims.

She said it was “an attempt at a smear because the story is in my favour”, adding she was defending another woman.

‘Wasn’t pleasant’Ms Khan told the Victoria Derbyshire programme: “It’d like to make it very clear that people who know me…. would tell you and vouch for me that a minute’s silence by either side – the EDL or UAF (Unite Against Fascism) – I would happily respect.

“But the fact of the matter is – and the video shows it – there wasn’t a minute’s silence while I was there.”

Trouble is the video does show the counter protestors (Khan was herself included) shouting ‘Nazi scum off our streets’ during the minute silence, does not show our heroine defending the woman in the hijab and does not show our heroine being threatened in any way.

It does look like a classic case of false-narrative construction by BBc/MSM SJW reporters
If I take you at your word since I can’t watch the full video here .
Media repeat the word “surrounded” yet that can’t be true cos the Liason Officer is in every shot.

The initial BBC report was edited, but that is fair enough cos it was to add the claim from the EDL that the minutes silence was interrupted by the anti-fa Hate-not-Hope
    https://www.newssniffer.co.uk/articles/1359330/diff/1/2

The BBC reissued the story later under a new title
EDL viral photo woman denies minute’s silence interruption

But a crucial piece of CONTEXT is left until the end
“Ms Khan said earlier in the confrontation she told the man, “racist scum get off our streets”.”

Come on that is the same as lying by omission cos it would be a completely different narrative if they’d mentioned that in the first paragraph.

The Tommy Robinson quote supporting her idea of intervention is strange
    24 hours ago he tweeted
“So the girls story in papers that she was defending a woman in a hijab being confronted looks like a complete lie ”
then 12 h later he tweeted
“Ok, just had In confirmed by a friend who was at edl demo, this lady was defending a woman in a navy hijab as she said to the papers ”
“Where’s the video of her shouting during the silence ? Surely someone has it.”*
“Played straight into their hands .”
    * as Alan says she can be seen in the video so Tommy is wrong
Seems Tommy been preoccupied all day shouting censorship at MaajidNawaz and LBC for editing him out of of the podcast of last nights show maybe cos he performed too well.
In the end someone grabbed it from the stream and put it on YouTube

The fact that most of the population is now carrying around a pocket-size, broadcast quality camera, with 4G internet connection, is making it very difficult for violent Communist organisations such as UAF and HnH, not to mention the MSM, to peddle their lies.

I think this women with her iconic smile could replace the much derided Pepsi advert with a protesting women. That was withdrawn

Perhaps Miss Khan could advertise an Islamic drink – Coke and Camel piss – beneficial for health and virility.

That whole affair stinks of a setup because before it all kicks off you could see all the camera guys focusing on the lady with the hijab like they were expecting something and then they all started chanting the fascist stuff right on q. At the risk of being branded a ‘troll’, I feel compelled to comment on this one.

    1. Sorry Alan, but I really don’t like the EDL and a lot of what they say, that video merely confirmed why I don’t like them. Perhaps my biggest issue personally is that they’ve appropriated ‘my’ flag, it really annoys me that a Welshman can go around swathed in red dragons, a Scotsman proudly display the cross of St.Andrew, and I, an Englishman would be branded a ‘racist’ for daring to wear a white tie with a red cross on St.George’s Day… that just doesn’t seem right at all.

    2. Having said that, I don’t see why the EDL shouldn’t be allowed to hold a rally if they want to, so long as they’re not harming anyone, or advocating violence, as far as I’m aware being fat, ugly and stupid at the same time as holding ridiculous notions is not a crime (Diane Abbott seems to still be at large.. ar ar). The equally pathetic err… ‘anti-Nazi’ (is that the correct term?) demonstrators were clearly there to start a fight, and I don’t see how anyone applying impartial logic can’t see they were actually the troublemakers in that situation.

    3. Which brings me on to Ms. Khan, who in their right mind would call that a ‘smile’? It’s a knowing smirk if I ever saw one, she knew exactly what she was doing, baiting the stupid EDL, and seems to have achieved it (with the help of the ever obliging BBC).

    4. Which brings me on to the reason we’re all here (hopefully) which is BBC bias. So much bias I don’t even know where to begin, but also irrational, and increasingly self contradictory bias. Not everyone at the BBC is an idiot, surely at least some must be aware where this is leading? Certainly it can’t end in a good place for the BBC, perhaps we don’t really need to worry ourselves as the BBC seems to be doing an excellent job of destroying itself.

    5. Talking about BBC bias, has anyone else noticed the numerous similarities between the EDL and the SNP? So why in BBC doublespeak EDL=bad, SNP=good? Like I was saying, totally illogical and self contradictory.

    6. However, as a final note, I’ve noticed a creeping tone of what I don’t want to call ‘racism’ (a much over used term) cropping up here on BiasedBBC. You all know what I mean (or should do), I just want to point out that it’s putting me off, and possibly others, and it doesn’t help the image of this site. To put it another way, you are being observed here, what message do you want to portray… do you not realise you are pandering to those who want to pigeon hole us as ‘Alt Right’, ‘Fascists’, ‘Far Right’ etc… (however comical and inappropriate those terms might be)? If you go down that route, the central message (that the BBC is biased) could easily be lost. Might I suggest that humour is great (it helps me stay saneish), but there might be more appropriate places for some of it than here… just a thought.

Good points. I am always ready to accept criticism.

Often contributors here are accused of racism and homophobia and sexism.

But I do think we need to separate racism etc. from objections to the BBC’s over promotion of multiculturalism and identity politics.

I will make what appear to be derogatory remarks about people of colour, gays, women
etc in response to the BBC’s PC and over representation of these groups. It is not the people I object to, it is the way they are used to promote the BBC narrative – the perfect Moslem bake off winner, the perfect black athlete, and the over promotion of women in soccer cricket etc.

I will endorse unpleasant remarks about Nadya the bake off winner, not because of any racist belief but to stick two fingers up at the BBC’s over promotion of her ethnicity. Likewise if a black actor screws up in a play where the part was written for a white person I will snigger, but snigger at the BBC’s failure.

I don’t regard this kind of response to the BBC – and the media in general – as racist, but as a good old fashioned British way of calling out hypocrites.

However, there is an emerging recognition here of the BBC’s racism, which is shared by many of the victim collecting left organizations – an assumption that blacks, gays, etc, are perpetual victims, weak and unable to take care of themselves.

I cannot think of one, which is not to claim that there has not been any.
I would not count as racist comments that asserted that people of colour had a lower level of intelligence, which may be tested scientifically, or that they were more responsible for violent crime, which can be tested with reference to crime statistics, and as a Welshman by birth I refuse to accept jokes about ethnicity as racist.

Should I find here comments calling for persecution of black people, calling for violence against them or denying them access to the goods available to the rest of society I would class that as racist.

I think normal people everywhere are absolutely fed up to the back teeth of the over promotion of ethnic and religious minorities, and are now becoming “ist” probably as a natural reaction to being force fed bullshit every day by the MSM.

In the twisted minds of our magistrates and judges Islam is a race and you get done for racism should you leave bacon near a mosque

According to the Government supported UAF the EDL are racist for opposing Islam and sharia.

According to the media the man who left bacon on the door of a mosque was a racist, said the Metro.

‘A 35-year-old man jailed earlier this year for a racist attack on a mosque has died in prison just two days after Christmas Day’.

Keep searching the story has completely vanished. Not one media source, left or right, have followed it up. Amazing how an event which occurred in a prison has not even been covered by prison gossip.

All I found after an extensive search was a brief page in Facebook from the antifa mocking his death, then nothing.

It makes me think that the media can be completely silenced and fake news installed.

What an absolute joke. We are complaining about chronic prison over crowding yet leaving some bacon sandwiches on a doorstep and tying bacon to door handles gets you a 12 month custodial sentence?

            Seriously?

Granted it’s a ridiculous juvenile crime and should be punished but surely a fine, community service and a suspended sentence would be sufficient. Was anyone physically intimidated or is this just food related crime?

I’m not sure that BBCReject is referring just to the less-than-complimentary attitude of many here (including myself) towards Muslims. I think he/she is also referring to comments such as those which point out the over-representation on adverts of persons of colour, or inappropriate shoehorning of those people into historical drama.

In the main, I don’t think these are racist, other than being a reaction to the racism inherent in selecting people for the part simply because their skin is darker. If a large proportion of comments and articles on this site refer to race, sex or religion it’s simply because the BBC itself is utterly obsessed with them.

(http://www.linguisticsociety.org/content/what-ebonics-african-american-english ) which is to me a form of racism belonging with the Jim Crow Laws.

Then we are told that planting tree is racist because black people are oppressed by trees which triggers off the Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome.
Black people were lynched on the trees. The tree became a big symbol.” Black people are triggered by trees and suffer Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome flashbacks. You can’t expect them to go to on a hike’.
