Remember the massive abuse heaped upon May for going on the One Show? Corbyn must be a brave man…coz he’s been there, done that too…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zgnYCQeRO8
Of course it is highly unlikely he will get any abuse…from the BBC….the same BBC that heaped the abuse upon May despite the One Show being BBC.
Unbelieveably it’s the top story on the Guardian right now…funny how a chat on the sofa suddenly is so very important whereas apparently May’s chat on the sofa was her trying to avoid scrutiny [despite being scheduled for many interviews and public appearances] giving us soft focus pap instead her critics cried.
Ah yes…already the praise starts…
And that’s it from Jeremy Corbyn on The One Show. The twitterati seem to be saying that Corbyn comes across as far warmer and nicer than Theresa May did.
The Mirror’s Kevin Maguire:
Corbyn more human alone on the One Show than Theresa and Philip May combined
— Kevin Maguire (@Kevin_Maguire) May 30, 2017
Whereas May…
Supreme leader produces pure TV Valium on The One Show
And
Revealed at last: Philip May, Theresa’s determinedly dull human shield
Oh dear. Another Labour supporter is about to be “fired” from the BBC one would well imagine..

OT, but maybe the BBC’s finest will see the possibilities…
Surfing Ch5 in catch up, I happened across an engineering documentary series on bridges.
The latest, which I watched, was about the Humber.
Seems it owes its existence to a political bribe by Harold Wilson to the area. And it worked. Except, by amazing surprise, having secured the necessary election votes, the promised delivery was reneged upon by Labour.
But then, it was a different time.

Cuddly Jeremy is the theme. Don’t worry that he will bankrupt the country in every way possible.
i didnt watch,I cannot abide the One Show, but I’m not watching any politics at the moment .
I want Brexit above anything else and Mrs May ,though unpalatable is the only person who can deliver along with David Davis.

Deborahanother, I fully agree. UKIP has been a joke since all that debacle over its leadership and it hasn’t recovered. I can’t remember her name but that woman, who briefly led until the left-wing media made her life so unbearable she quit, looked like a very good choice. Then Woolfe looked OK until his little punch-up in Brussels. I doubt it will ever fully recover, and certainly not this election: so I will be voting Conservative as the only choice for Britain’s future in the hope that Mrs May will deliver and that Brexit will actually mean Brexit – i.e. the EU will have no further hold over us on anything. Anything less and the country is doomed.
I predicted right at the start of the campaign that the result will be a lot closer than the polls suggested, it appears I may be right. Of course, anything less than a 100 seat majority the BBC will declare it as a defeat for the “Tories” and a ringing endorsement for not going ahead with Brexit. And it will be a lot closer than that! I now wonder if May will fail and it will go down as the biggest strategic blunder in the history of British politics. My God, the thought of Jeremy Corblimey as P.M. almost makes this atheist start praying.

Good post, Demon.
The bbbc are running around in ever decreasing circles trying to promote anti-Conservative feeling, and as usual, they’re too stupid and demoralised to understand that most Tory voters have made up their minds ages ago, and it’s only wets like the Lib Dems and a few more losers like Greens who wallow in selfies and wring their hands while whining some Pete Seeger song.
I agree with you that bbbc will say that anything under 100 seats will be a failure too!
WTF? Is that why they’re going have all the second and third teams on show for the big count? Autocue readers with zilch to offer but wonky words fed to them by that invisible band of bbbc ‘managers’, who get paid squillions to do bugger all!

Well Demon I try not to go there because I cannot believe it will happen. I have always thought the polls were hyped and the margin will be closer.Especially with Corbyns “free stuff “on offer.
You only have to look at the free childcare policy the billions it will cost .Add on all the other giveaways and we are totally stuffed. The money markets will not be lending to us and the IMF beckons. Then people will find out what REAL austerity is.And we will be flooded with more immigrants.

I do hope you are correct, but I do wish she would adopt more Conservative policies rather than follow the Blair/Camoron style. And just when is she going to repeal the disgraceful Climate Change Act, a suicide note for both Country and People. Common sense seems to be another problem with our PM.

Whatever the outcome of the GE, the Lab Blair/EU contingent intend to oust Corbyn anyway. Parliament will remain full of hundreds of Blairites and Remainders of all persuasions – mostly corrupt, many just dim; scores of ‘nutters’ – the usual suspects; a handful of (relatively) ‘good guys’.
The most we can hope for is the election of as many UKIP/Leaver Independents as possible to support the ‘good guys’ re Brexit, security etc. and the failure of some of the chief nutters.
The Beeb know they are safe.

I think McDonnell will conduct a coup and the hard-alt-left will take over completely. Their next manifesto will be even more left-wing than this one.

Noted the non-appearance of Emma Barnett on this mornings Womans Hour.
The Gastric Bag and her chihuahau clearly chauffeured back to the House of Hall to provide ballast as opposed to balance. Dame Jenni failed to mention the “feedback” from Emma Barnetts showpiece interview of Jedward yesterday. Funny that-they`re normally VERY keen to flag up when their stories get taken up by their Big Sisters on the telly. But not today-sensing our Jenni was looking back in sadness more than anger.
But certainly no mention of Emma -who was last seen scraping out Town Criers in Skeggy or Southwods for 5 Live and was NOT doing political interviews until she`d learned to stick to the Lefty script.
This needs a good root around-was Jenni schedualed to be back-and will Emma be let loose on the other politicos of progress?
Let` see.
In the meantime, had our weirdy beardie Labour candidate drop a leaflet through earlier. Misread his message-but at least there`s a thumbsize pic of Corbz at the bottom and at the back.
Will keep it, might be worth something soon.
Misread it as stating that Labour “were for the many, not the jew”
But think my version is truer, especially after the banishing of Emma Barnett.
At least Blair WAS a Friend Of Israel in comparison-the Left can`t even create their OWN slogans, simply blag them from Zombie Labour of 97.
“For the Many, not the Jew”….they`ll be impressed with that one round here!

She wasn’t due to be on the prog ..she works on 5-Live Wed-Fri
She was interviewed last night before getting the train to Skegness where 5-Live are broadcating from today
BTW I saw on twitter Labour HateNotHope guys tweeting about how her education was paid for by prostitution.
With her parents running brothels, Her father being jailed for when she was 23, her mother got suspended sentence for money laundering.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3636992/Dad-s-prison-shame-broke-heart-BBC-5-Live-s-new-star-6-2million-brothel-keeper-father.html
I know this cos I was scouring twitter for comments on Womans Hour eco-propaganda section today.
But there only 3 tweets on that subjects yed dozens per hour were pouring in balling at Emma for yesterday …the nutters sometimes couldn’t get the day of the week right.

Fair enough Stew, but I`d have thought the BBC would be pleased at the Twitter reaction and endless BBC TV plugs that followed this interview. Or was it all the worng man who got scorched for being thick and unprepared.
Noted that Paul Mason thought Emma was on the wrong side-so unlike him then.

Got to be honest, i`m getting worried about the media monoculture. Whether it is reflex lunacy over bombings by Islam or covering the Labour madness in a fire blanket-it`s worrying.
For example.
Surely to God, any plans for Corbyns nutters to get into the Sqaure Mile or the Treasury MUST be affecting the economy, share prices etc. But no mention. As opposed to endless nit picking over any Brexit tittle-tattle, which is forvever getting mentioned as a “worry to the City”.
It`s not just the BBC either.
All of Freeview at the moment is equally happy for the Revolution to happen.
No critiques or analysis at all. No thought on how Islam is progressing as we throw thm teddy bears and more pop princesses to target.
Do wonder where the nations spine and brains have all gone-we`re not listening to the media I know, but why are we paying them to entice our kids into Sharia socialism?
