So President Trump talks about cutting a really good trade deal with the UK ANNNNND….the BBC wants to talk about chlorinated Chickens. Yup, that bad. So BMW announce a major investment in Mini plant in Oxford and the BBC wheels along an academic hack to tell us that the batteries for said vehicle will be made in Germany! No agenda there folks, no way! Anywhere this is where you detail the BIAS!

BBC smear piece against Australia’s Farage
BBC take a citizen scandal which is about 2 GUILTY leftwing Green senators who resigned, and try to turn it into being about speculation about a right wing senator, who has no evidence against him ..but of course LibMob just so want it to be true.
Last night 4:55am just when Radio 5 Up All Night was finishing up popped Phili Mercer from @BBCNewsAus
My ears pricked up at one of his items
“Right wing politician at centre of citizenship storm”
Cos that is not the context I’d expect ..you’d start with the 2 Green senators that broke the law.
Mercer did eventually get to that and justified “The difference here is that Roberts denies there being any problem with his citizenship, and refuses to produce the documents”
Hmm I know a lot about Roberts and he’s a fine up standing smart man so
I made a quick check of this “the BBC’s too wow to be true narrative”
…That revealed that Roberts had been live on Oz Sky TV 4 hours earlier * with all the said paperwork.*
* Key thing being that he has official letters from the British and Indian governments saying that he never held citizenship of them. *
Sky Facebook post with full video
He explained that of course the whole story was quite long ..and he’d been on government business in a remote area, so he wasn’t going to release a whole bunch of documents to the Twitterati to have a go at when the accusation came up, instead hed waited until the TV corp could give him the time.
LibMob’s smear case is left with one shred : that the confirmationletter from the British Embassy didn’t come in unil after his political nomination.
but its not the case that Roberts had changed citizenship in the interim
The nomination form asked if he was a citizen of a foreign country and he’d ticked no, just like any normal Australian politician would.
The form just asks the signer to be telling the truth; it doesn’t ask the signer for 216 letters from the worlds governments proving non-citizenship.
He maintains that just to be on the safe side he contacted the British Embassy a few times before he handed in the form, but they hadn’t got back to him until his wife took up the case and got the confirmation letter out of them.
The interesting context is that for the many old politicians of all parties there is a stronger case against them due to them having actual foreign citizenship rights thru parents etc.
Today Libmob Australian media still persist in trying to build narrative by running stories that Pauline Hanson’s sister is about to take over Roberts seat, ridiculous cos he’d hve to resign first.
One newspaper present a twisted account of last night’s TV appearance that would make the BBC blush.

I see the BBC have put a slightly less twisted report now
