A knife-wielding attacker at the Beni Azar gate, on the Morocco-Spain border, shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he ran towards police officers. “Allahu Akbar” is, of course, the Muslim call to prayer that is often repeated by Islamic terrorists. This region, between North Africa and Europe, has long been a pressure point for Islamic refugees and immigration, and we’re sure this incident won’t make these matters any better. In this security camera video, you can see the attacker and how a security official uses a large barricade as a weapon to subdue him.

Interestingly, not many people know that Spain’s presence on the north African coast is disputed by Morocco (just as Gibraltar’s presence on the south Spanish coast is disputed by Spain!);
The government of Morocco has requested from Spain the sovereignty of Ceuta and Melilla, Perejil Island and some other small territories. The Spanish position is that both Ceuta and Melilla are integral parts of the Spanish state, and have been since the 15th century.

Mark Steyn hits the nail on the head when he says of airport attacks … all they do is plant a bomb around the perimeter, so then the perimeter is widened so they plant a bomb outside the extended perimeter exactly where people are waiting to get inside the perimeter. In Manchester the Jihadi didn’t go through security to attack, he merely waited in the lobby just outside the security check. Horse and bolted is the problem, throw them out is the answer.

Err No it isn’t ! The Muslim call to prayer is the Adhan, which contains the Takbir (God is Greater) followed by the Shahada (There is no God but Allah & Mohammed is his prophet) and several other verses.

It’s funny how stories/events disappear isn’t it? The Australian aircraft Muslim terrorist story which led yesterday – unless I missed something there is little follow up. I’m betting one of those arrested will have worked in the airport – the most likely weak link in security because money beats vetting .
