Another knife attack in Düsseldorf! Isn’t this enriching? I was planning to watch the football this weekend but it would feel improper not to throw a party to celebrate all this diversity.
They have the nerve to rant and rave for five days about perhaps a few dozen ‘white nationalists’, whilst this global, organised force is attacking us from every angle? They really are a disgrace. It almost feels providential that this would happen just after Charlottesville. That the Left can hyperventilate about Trump’s supposedly ‘insufficiently fast response’ to those events whilst they – our supposedly moral superior fourth estate – refuses to even name the true evil of our times? Where is their response? It is non-existent.

I spent over 8 years living in Duss. The knife attack was actually in Wuppertal (about 15KMs away). According to the German police report.:
Around 14:45 clock, came from still unexplained cause between several men in a shop at the Kipdorf, in the Wuppertaler district Elberfeld, to the dispute. In the course of this, a 31-year-old man was mortally injured by Messerstiche. His 25-year-old brother was also so severely injured by Messerstiche that he had to be treated intensively in the hospital. Both injured parties are from Iraq. The perpetrators escaped from the crime scene. The search of a house in the Kipdorf, with the addition of special forces, did not lead to the discovery of the perpetrators. A murder commission was established. The investigations continue.

I would like to see the good in all peoples. I give strangers the benefit of doubt, (though if they looked hostile I would cross the street as an act of sensible self-preservation). I quite like the idea that people around the world do things differently, let the French be French, etc. I’m quite happy for them to come visit, learn or trade in reasonable numbers, but I know that if they stay my culture and their culture will be modified. I suspect that the vast majority of the people in the world think, (or rather did), think the same. Live and Let Live.
And yet I rather think that our Prime Minister would call me an extremist, something that I would quietly and politely deny. No, rather she and the vast majority of our politicians are appeasers, in the mould of a Chamberlain, wanting ‘peace’ at any price.
