I see the bBC is still promoting the line that the UK has been slow in helping out British subjects in the Caribbean.
Hurricane Irma: UK Royal Marines bring aid to victims
Two hundred Royal Marines have arrived in the Caribbean to bring aid to UK overseas territories following the devastation wrought by Hurricane Irma. Operation Ruman is tasked with distributing medical supplies and helping the territories recover following the category five storm. The taskforce is currently in Barbados, which is the UK’s distribution hub. On Friday, Britain’s response to the storm was “found wanting” by the heads of two parliamentary committees.
Yet the cocksuckers and arsebandits at the bBC conveniently omit that after the storm passed by the region on Wednesday evening , British forces were delivering Aid on Thursday morning. The engineers on board RFA Mounts Bay cleared the runway on Anguilla allowing RAF C17s, A400s and Voyagers to land disembarking troops and Aid.

But as said , to the Buggering British children lot, this wasn’t t good enough and they point to the French and Dutch on next door St Martin to show how it should be done. Err you wankers, St Martin is an Island shared by the French and Dutch, The 2 Dutch ships combined only come in at 5k, the RFA mounts Bay comes in at 16K and was in theatre in July preparing for the Hurricane season:

The bBC the biggest promoter of fake news going.

” Arsebandits ” sums up the BBC perfectly. It does not matter what the British do, the BBC hate it. Also the Military are professional and respected by most British people. The BBC are amateurs. It is jealousy.

        Grant,
I don’t know about you, but if I lived in the region, I would either on my own or with my neighbours build a concrete bunker for the storm season (happens every year) inside I would ensure there was Beds, power, water and food. Build up the sides with earth so provide extra protection and to allow any winds to sweep over. I’m pretty sure many have (unlike a certain billionaire) and that way you can protect you and your own. But the bBC hasn’t mentioned anything like that. Instead like the third world mindset they emulate they blame everybody else for their own mismanagement.
(Just for the info, I keep a full emergency kit in my cellar, lighting spare batteries, water bottles, first aid kits, tools and spare food..everything gets checked once a year and if they require replacing , i do just that, giving away my old stuff to friends and neighbours. Overkill, maybe, but hey nobody else is going to do this for me.)

Hi Pounce, you have missed something important. Why has the BBC been so critical of the governments so-called lack of action. Why have they gone a bit hysterical promoting this story?

Well this is where most of the British Capitalist rich have their fourth or fifth properties. Some even own small islands out there. There has been damage to their villas and to some of their luxury yachts. They want the British taxpayer to pay for the repairs to their own possessions as well pay to repair the islands infrastructure and to stop any locals getting angry or any locals looting.

These people range from billionaire capitalists to the very wealthy to the reasonably wealthy individuals. These are the people who don’t want national boundaries and don’t want Brexit, because they are globalists with investments outside of the UK. Yet they demand the British Government (meaning the British taxpayer) do more. BBC executives who may themselves have properties and friends out there are only too happy to oblige in excessively promoting and spinning this story.

        BBC,

I had a visit today from an old friend, Robert, who is a builder. Not well-educated , but sharp as a knife. He was talking about all the wealthy in Caribbean and Florida. His view was that , if you invest in a part of the world where there is risk from hurricanes , earthquakes, floods etc, you must be aware of the risk you are taking. Why expect the rest of us to save you ?

Usual hypocrisy and reflex doing down of this country by the Left as usual.
Orwell described it a while back(Lion and the Unicorn)-and it`s even more offencive to us all these days.
          1. I`m not subsidising Branson or Blackwells houses that they freely bought on Carribean islands-or does Grenfell Towers go short?
          2. Is there ANYBODY who really thinks that the BBC would have heard of Barbuda or Anguilla before the huricane?…these self-loathing lefties would not know their names, just thought them to be offshore tax havens, remnants from our hated white empire days.
          3. And won`t the black liberation movements resent our patronising, condescending and tokenistic efforts to buy off our guilt with a bucket collection for them-thought they`d now be long independent and not needing the white master to send them postal orders.
The BBC-as I say-only see a wheelbrace to club the Tories with with this non-story. And the demn stupid Tories fall for it.
          Let Branson pay.

Alas, the Minister is too busy dreaming of the ‘threat’ posed by a country with an economy the size of Australia’s, that spends less on defence than Saudi Arabia, has one aircraft carrier (shortly to be zero for several years), no all-year round naval ports with ocean access, and which has British fighters and military personnel currently stationed about 100 miles away from its second largest city. Yep, Michael Farron really is a мечтатель (dreamer).

Is it really the Government’s job to rescue British tourists who choose to visit hurricane-prone islands during the hurricane season? (Hint: No.)

This reminds me of a somewhat similar situation I was involved in a few years ago in East Africa, where I lived and worked at the time. An impending military coup and instability on the streets had led the governments of some continental European countries to offer their expatriate citizens shelter in the applicable Embassy compound or Residence until normality returned. The British? No chance. Their standard response was: “If you’re smart enough to come over here to work, you’re smart enough to look after yourself.” To rub salt into the wound the top British diplomats and their spouses were then given a close protection team (armed British soldiers acting as bodyguards) while the rest of us Brits looked on in amazement. The fact that as taxpayers we were funding this little arrangement was brushed aside with a regretful shrug.

However the talk page for the Wiki biography states that she previously “falsely claimed to have been born in Israel”.
Presumably the biography, which currently states “she was born to Iraqi Jewish parents and grew up in the UK” without stating where she was actually born [mega alarm bells], at one time contained the bit about her being an untrustworthy lying cow. I could not be bothered to trawl through the hundreds of revisions to actually identify the date/time/culprit who removed the truth.

What a vacant bint Shabby is. She and Sodher often appear on the pointless Shy News Review where they babble incoherently.

“In any case, as journalist and author Daniel Trilling notes, what counts as a British worker or, in a globalised economy, a British job?

Who gets to define “British” here and on what basis: birthplace, citizenship, residence, skin tone? Stripped of absolute meaning, it is clear that this slogan has no purpose but to serve as xenophobic signalling.”

If “British” has “no absolute meaning” how can it serve as a “xenophobic signal”? If it has no absolute meaning how can it signal anything? Being or feeling British is not a matter of definition. Anjem Choudry was legally British but detested the British. Like Choudry, Shabby may even be a British citizen and enjoy the legal and financial benefits citizenship brings. However like Choudry she really detests the native British and their way of life and is obviously pushing for more and more uncontrolled mass colonisation until the indigenous British become tourists in their own country.
You never hear lefitsts accuse Sinn Fein (We Ourselves) of being xenophobes or Little Irelanders, even though the name sounds pretty high on the “othering” scale to me.

But now like most English language mainstream journalism it just seems like news for ‘special’ people. You know – the hierarchy of special interests of ethnicity, gender and all the other ‘isms’. It’s just a load of annoying frivolous nonsense. They are really just children’s fairy tales with the same moral – ‘look at what the evil white man has done now’.

I just want old fashioned broadsheet news (reasonably unbiased) about the major events in the world like wars, diplomacy, scientific breakthroughs, disasters, terrorism etc..

I’m not going to get that from the BBC. I’m thinking of trying some foreign language papers (but English versions).

The EU enables them to feel pride, wave flags, sing anthems etc because they think it is anti-imperialist and anti-nationalistic. (of course, it has elements of both in its makeup, but hides them well). In some ways it also fulfills the function that the Soviet Union had for British lefties before it collapsed.

“Saudi Arabian Fashion show {comedy 14aug2013}”

Iran’s Fashion Scene Is Blossoming (they now allow colours in 2014) Under Sharia Law
Before Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, citizens weren’t required to wear the Islamic cover known as the hijab and the country’s fashion was almost identical to that of the United States and Europe. After the revolution, though, the hijab became required by law.

Although the standard black hijab is still commonplace—especially in rural areas in the country—Iran has recently seen a fashion renaissance, and cities like Tehran are becoming home to new and innovative designers. The clothing may still have to respect the Islamic dress codes, but the bright colors and designs would never have been seen a decade ago in Iran.

The country’s top officials—responsible for granting permission for the show—were all seated in the front row to show their support. And to make sure the models were adhering to the country’s law.

Since the day after Hurricane Irma hit Barbuda the BBC has been reporting that ‘there have been criticisms’ of the British reaction. It’s a bit like the BBCs stock phrase ‘some people say that’ when it wants to voice its own criticism but has to disguise it as reporting , so as not to contravene its Charter. The BBC is nothing if not sly.
There is never any specific detail. Who made the criticisms? Are they justified ? How quickly do you move a helicopter carrier to the Caribbean ? How quickly do you assess what is required and get the Hercules aircraft in the air? You’ll never see the BBC analyse this and provide some balance or perspective .The government is just too tempting a target to do this.

There is no proper version of the music, it started off as a patriotic song possibly dating back as far as the 17th century. Dozens of composers have played around with the tune since, which is usually adapted to fit the forces available. The version generally heard at the Last Night and elsewhere is a relatively recent one by Britten, but even he is responsible for more than one version:

The summary of the prom season at the end of the last night showed more women conductors than I knew existed, several clips of an Indian concert, several images from the BME orchestra (they were rather good, I thought, but discrimatory against white people) Tom Jones and several clips from either Oklahoma or some such musical. There was a brief glance of Simon Rattle, but only in passing. No wonder I found it hard to find a prom I wanted to go to.
I did though go to the Vienna Phil at the Proms last week, more males playing than in the BBC Symphony and no black or Asians in the audience that I could see.
I do worry that the BBC are looking to get rid of Land of Hope and Glory. Whether I just missed Rule Britannia or whether it didn’t happen, I am not sure. We always used to enjoy the diva with the gown that unfurled into the Union Jack and how each year the dress would become more dramatic.

      • Demon says:

Deborah, I think it’s way beyond time that the Proms were taken away from the “B”BC whose Proms coverage is no longer fit for purpose. When Henry Wood started the Proms, way before the “B”BC even existed, he did it to bring classical music to the masses. He realised that given half a chance and reasonable entry prices the working man and woman would enjoy a bit of culture. He was right.

The “B”BC now thinks that the Proms is intended for the benefit of their own metropolitan elite class, with all their prejudices and bigotries to be pandered to. The worst was that poison dwarf, Marion Allslop who is an ok conductor but no more (however she is loved by the Beeboids because she is a lesbian SJW). She spent her last-night speech doing nothing but pushing her nasty, bigoted left-wing agenda and almost totally ignored the Proms season. If I remember correctly, I don’t think she even mentioned the statistics that is normally part of the speech. She also completely ignore the fact that the last night should be about fun. That was totally missing.

Most of the Proms are now dumbed down: pop music, musicals etc. I didn’t look to go this year as we have been in the middle of the upheaval of a house move but there were few that I found I wanted to watch. There was one early Prom that had Beethoven’s 9th (fantastic work, now appropriated by the EU fascists) but it was accompanied by some pro-EU piece specially commissioned. I didn’t watch it.

Let’s have a Fox UK channel and give it to them. They would treat it with the love and respect it deserves. They should also be given all the rights to the old footage of decent, historical concerts from the “B”BC. The footage belongs to the people. They’re our Proms and we’ve paid to have the rights to all “B”BC material we want.

The irony is that the BBC think that classical music is “elitist” when what could be more elite than Beeboids ? They have the same crazy view of cricket and TMS will be the next target. Beeboids are just so ignorant.

Go into any theatre, museum, concert hall, gallery, historical building or any event even remotely related to European culture and it will be full of Europeans, with a few SE Asians who are genuinely interested and don’t wish to detract. Most of central London is like this until someone puts on an ethnic event, then they come in from the inner city suburbs, fight, and go back afterwards.

I wish the same could be said of many of our smaller towns and cities where the few remaining refuges are disappearing fast, and with fewer European visitors to shore up our numbers.

The delightful character is from Liberia. I googled Liberia to make sure that my understanding of its origin was correct (bold is mine):

“The Republic of Liberia began as a settlement of the American Colonization Society (ACS), who believed blacks would face better chances for freedom in Africa than in the United States.[7] The country declared its independence on July 26, 1847. The United Kingdom was the first country to recognize Liberia’s independence.
“Liberia is the only African republic to have self-proclaimed independence without gaining independence through revolt from any other power, and is Africa’s first and oldest modern republic.”
“Political tensions from the rule of William R. Tolbert resulted in a military coup in 1980 that overthrew his leadership soon after his death, marking the beginning of years-long political instability. Five years of military rule by the People’s Redemption Council and five years of civilian rule by the National Democratic Party of Liberia were followed by the First and Second Liberian Civil Wars. These resulted in the deaths and displacement of more than half a million people and devastated Liberia’s economy.”

So it went the usual African way then.

Back to the video, the Edinburgh-based trio of which this man is a member, remark at one point that those Scottish National Portrait Gallery are “a long line of inbred spawn, soon to die out themselves”. Doesn’t that sound a bit like hate speech? Well, a lot, actually.

May I suggest, Mr Massaquoi, that you refrain from commenting on the many things that you don’t understand, and go back whence you came. I’m sure that Liberia could use your unique talents.

The BBC seemed to have inserted about ten members of the white European Union master race, into the crowd, on the left-centre of the frontal standing arena of the Royal Albert Hall. They were all crowded together and waving about ten identical sized Blue Star flags. In fact there were so few Union Jacks, the schizophrenic BBC seemed to be struggling to find shots with Union Flags in them. But in Hyde Park and Northern Ireland, I could not spot a single EU Flag amongst the Union Jacks.

Its not an event that you would expect Remain supporters to be interested in going too. But obviously they only went to the event to protest against freedom, democracy and the patriot music.

The fact they got right up front at the Albert Hall, and didn’t go to Hyde Park, shows they must have been rich elitists, or paid by rich elitists, such as British staff employed by the European Union, or Members of the House of Lords such as Lord Hall, and organised by the BBC Question Time selection team, who also obviously must have handed out the EU Flags.

I think that this follows a PR stunt were the BBC advertised a fake ban on EU Flags.

By ‘controversy’ they mean confected outrage by some SJW lunatics on social media. It’s a show about dancing and great music, what idiot wants to make it about anything else? Apparently Calman said she did not want to offend her ‘community.’

I think the right will fight back in the culture war for the simple fact that the Left just is not as cool anymore. No humour (the left can’t meme) just pathetic, childish whining. The Trump memes are so brilliant. None of the SJW stuff is any fun; they take themselves so seriously and I have always disliked that.

I have known many gay men; they considered themselves as individuals, no part of a ‘community.’ The black guy I play table tennis is a builder, sportsman and quiz enthusiast. He is not exclusively part of the ‘black community’ and the idea that he cannot be an individual because he is a minority is insulting, suggesting he is sub human and can only function as a herd animal. It is all so divisive; when people do buy into this crap it can make them bitter and openly racist, as we saw with that charming transgender model.

Apparently, there is a condition called “species dysphoria”
Instead of waking up one morning and intuiting that “you are a woman trapped in a man’s body you realise that you are in fact a “hamster trapped in a human body”.
There are Therian and Otherkin communities who are supposed to “identify spiritually” with various animals or even extraterrestrials!!!!. Of course, these variants of dysmorphia are not mentioned on the BBC because they would highlight the ridiculousness of “gender dysphoria”.
For the same reason, the various forms of marriage that are rationally possible, but would go one cultural step too far, were not mentioned in the context of the “gay marriage debate”.For example, as long as no children were produced, in the interests of inclusion, you could legalise all kinds of intrafamilial deviancy.
The attempts to legalise sex with children in the 70’s, especially in Germany and Demark, on the pretext that children are “sexual beings” for whom it was “healthy to express their sexuality”, seem to have been abandoned for now. But where one door closes, another door to some other issue of gender/sexual politics can be opened and the BBC enlisted to nudge its licence payers through it.

BBC News Channel 7.45 where this Licence Payer tunes in and stumbles on the start of the BBC tech show “Click”

We are told this episode will focus on a recent technology exhibition and bring us lots news about exciting innovations. Interesting.

But this is the BBC, so right at the top of the show presenter Spencer Kelly turns to the camera and sets off on a social justice warrior-type lecture on how there are just not enough women working in tech.

Apparently “Click” runs up against this ‘problem’ all the time – Spencer tells us that when the show’s team turns up to a technology company again and again there are just no women available to talk to them. In fact he says: “it’s all men”. One gets the wonderful image of the largely male BBC tv team pleading for a female subject to put on camera. Something like the BBC arriving at some achingly white literature festival and busting a gut to locate a black face to put on our screens.

So the tech show “Click” headlines a politically motivated diatribe against a particular set of social choices by men and women and it goes on – the situation which our Spencer characterises as ‘a problem’ begins early he explains. Young girls are actually turning away from stem subjects at GCSE level. Only 20% taking computer science and just 10% in engineering. Quite why we are supposed to fret about these choices and exacly how this is supposed to be unfair in any way is not explained by our Spencer. He just requires us to accept his assumptions and go along with them as though they were our own.

I highlight this example of the BBC attempting to socially engineer our society since it is rare for the equality of outcome argument to be quite so openly and boldly expressed. We know the BBC regularly promotes metropolitan liberal elite views and that across a wide range of programming the broadcaster will tend to embed marxian post-modernist thinking. However, when pushed the corporation always pretends to balance all views and to deny it falls sway completely to any one set of opinions or assumptions. It lies to us.

There is a good article in the Spectator about gender differences. They studied what girls and boys Google, and they overwhelmingly fit the stereotype: males preferring sport and porn whilst women spend more time on social media posting selfies and researching beauty products. That people Google in private, away from the pressure to conform to PC dictates, shows how profound gender differences are.

So many women say they like having a man around because they can fix things. I imagine many women’s idea of living hell would be fixing computers all day, yet the lunatic Beeb manage to spin this as some sort of ‘oppression.’

In my particular case, I do the bits Mrs O’Blene doesn’t – it matters not one jot whether she can or can’t, I like to do them. She’s by far the best cook in the world, so I never go there, except if I want something she doesn’t want, and the same goes for me mending the Hoover, or making the outside furniture etc.

Why do the ltgshdgfytrbd brigade want to create issues with such a normal trait?

I wish the bbbc would concentrate on people bringing children into this world and continuing with a loving relationship – doesn’t matter who, what or with – as long as they are honoured as the sort of young people with a vision for another generation.

And stuff all this religion crap too. It’s not religion, it’s anti human nature.

As Camille Paglia memorably put it on the differences between men and women:
“There is no female Mozart because there is no female Jack the Ripper.”
And therein lies the Achilles Heel and ultimate undoing of the Left. They might believe that men can marry men and make babies, or that little boys can be turned into little girls. In the short term, they may be able to enforce their views, silence or even kill their opponents, wreck Western civilisation. But they can’t defeat nature, which works from millions of years of evolution rather than a hundred years of textbook theory by malcontents and the maladjusted. To quote Trotsky, they really are destined to end up in the dustbin of history.

We all know the state of being where you wake up, dreaming. So it was, in that dream that I heard that Tony Blair has announced that the UK should have an immigration policy. Stop! wait! it is actually true! It is no dream! Tony ‘flood the UK with alien’s’ Blair has written an article in the ST suggesting just that. Pity he didn’t think about the same “policy” when, during 1997 to 2007 as PM, he undemocratically and secretly authorised the importation of millions of aliens into the UK. Blair is credited with three quotable quotes on Wiki. The first one caught my eye: The art of leadership is saying no, not yes. It is very easy to say yes.” What a pric*. His actions are treasonable in my book.

More airtime from the BBC to Blair, this morning, with some ‘not so forensic’ questions from Marr. But then the BBC is very much Blair’s monster to use as he see’s fit.

He’s (Blair) asking for each MP (across the spectrum – i.e 75% of parliament) to subtly oppose Brexit. He advocates using “every effort to ‘convince’ their constituents they were wrong to vote Leave”.

This strategy will then reposition and justify a re-run on the decision we find at destination. To help this, he proposes amelioration of the reasons British people voted for Brexit; i.e ‘giving some control on EU immigration’, thereby putting the country more in a climate where a second referendum becomes politically viable. So, effectively, the old ‘triangulation’ technique he and his cronies employed to repeatedly dupe the nation after parts of our country gave this salesman/lawyer a mandate under our corrupt FPTP system.

In his own words and without any hint of irony, “I’m always on the side of Britain”…. I admit, I genuinely laughed out loud.

The obvious counter to this is…foreign migration between 1997 and 2010 was 3.6 million, and Private businesses are still owed over £209 billion over the next 35 years – the result of more than 700 private finance initiatives (PFIs), not to mention dodgy dossiers, etc, etc….none of this really explored by Marr!

In my opinion he is right in one sense, those driving the Brexit vehicle are reluctant passengers. He simply plays on that fact to his own end. The question for us as a nation is, ‘will he and his ilk dupe the nation again’, and, have those in charge of the vehicle got the courage to see it through?

Perhaps with the help of the BBC they see an opportunity to change course?

Yet when British soldiers have been implicated in anything (And how many cases have fallen flat on their face?) the left have no problem screaming out that there is a problem with:

Muslims – 600 plotters at any one time , unknown number of lone wolf types gearing up to hire a van or car, say 1000 returned jihadis our useless border people have let back in, and tens of thousands of Muslims minimum who passively sympathies with terrorism. National Action – about 100 people, mostly active as gym goers or on the internet, not one convicted of a terrorists plot – 2 of the 5 arrested just released without charge. Of course the Saunders Prosecution nazis will be doing their best to convict ‘the right ‘ of hate crime too.

I am unsure whether one could properly describe his outfit as a Naz! outfit. I consider this to be somewhat of a grey area, and one where history is being rewritten.

The picture shows a low ranking officer of the Wehrmacht. This is very different to an officer of the SS. It is the officers of the SS who were the true Naz!s, and who were members of the Naz! party.

I think that there is a strong argument that only the highest officers in the Wehrmacht (cabinet level/chief of staff such as the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht, and the Oberkommando des Heeres etc) are properly to be classified as Naz!s. Mid to low ranking officers were soldiers, and not unduly political.

Of course, it should not be forgotten that Naz!s are extreme left wing, although the likes of the BBC and The Guardian would like to rewrite history and portray them as right wind extremists. They were not. They were extreme left wing/left wing extremists, but with nationalism thrown in to the mix.

But the central point is that Paul Hollyward probably did not mean any offence by the outfit, and probably no one was offended by the outfit. That is why nothing was heard about the incident for years. The problem is that the left do not appear to have a sense of humour.

Just to prepare you for how the BBC can use the term right wing to suit their own agenda, regardless of the actual mindset displayed, here’s an example.
About 8 years ago a poster of mine complained to the BBC regarding their referring to the BNP as right wing. Here’s their response: (highlights mine)
                REPLY FROM BBC
                Dear Mr Digger
                Thanks for your e-mail.
I understand you have concerns with our presenters and reporters referring to the BNP or similar parties as “far-right” when you feel that this description is inaccurate.

I can assure you that we carefully consider the terminology before referring to any organisation or person in our news reports.

The BNP was born out of the National Front – a “national” party, who like many parties purporting to represent the national interests of a particular country, claim themselves to be national socialists. NS is an extremely left wing form of political belief – Hitler’s Nazi party were national socialists, and therefore technically left wing – but so left wing as to appear right wing in their extreme and racist views. The same can apply to the BNP.

I would like to assure you that I’ve registered your feelings about this matter on our audience log. This is the internal report of audience feedback which we compile daily for all programme makers and commissioning executives within the BBC, and also their senior management. It ensures that your points, and all other comments we receive, are circulated and considered across the BBC.

Thank you once again for taking the trouble to share your views with us.

When people are born in England they somehow become English so how is she not Norwegian.

I believe her parents are from Ghana or Nigeria, somewhere in Africa anyway, so how is she not Ghanain or Nigerian (or wherever they come from) the same way that Joanna Lumley and Cliff Richards are English although they were born in India.

    Maybe she is.

Anyway, what right has she got to turn up in our Country and start whinging on about statues of our heroes which upset her.
What’s the point of having people like her who appear to hate every aspect of our lives and yet doesn’t appear to want to go back to her own people.

By the way, The Pledge panel is slightly more balanced than the QT panel as it consists of three remainers and two leavers each week.

As Blair dwelt at length on potential things the EU could do to help UK to stay in the EU the burning question I would have asked him would have been about giving up the rebate in exchange for the EU promising to look at the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy . And ‘look’ was all they did- no action at all- except that UK’s financial contribution increased. I am afraid Blair’s lies , dissembling and obfuscation have caught with him and by and large he has lost respect amongst the British. So why did the BBC permit such a long interview to be aired when on most other programmes “time is short and we will have to leave it there” ? I cannot recall there being such a long, uninterrupted interview with Farage, Mills or other Leave proponents. The vote to leave was convincing. The BBC is still trying to drive a wedge in a democratic vote.

Marr spent years worshipping Blair and New Labour and he can’t throw that off. Fortunately however many uncritical interviews Blair is given by the BBC, he will still look like the shifty charlatan he is. Blair wanted us to join the Euro, he went the extra mile to let in Eastern European migrants after 2004, he wanted to be President of the Comission or Council ( I forget which) around the time he quit as PM. He is just an EU lackey. Cameron tried to negotiate restrictions on free movement with the EU in 2014-15 and got nowhere . Nothing has changed now despite Blair’s daydreams .

Afua Hirsch is ‘listed’ amongst other attributes, as being a barrister. Well, aren’t barristers amongst the highest paid of our professions in this country ? and if so, why isn’t she plying her trade and making mega bucks, or is the limelight too much of a draw for her, so supplements her income by being a Guardian journalist ?

I’m getting heartily sick of watching these ‘born-in-another-country,-but-I’m-BRITISH” mouthpieces (Hirsch, Alibaba-Brown, June Sarpong, Shabi, Soni, and all other foreign journos/presenters) get air time in telling us how we should behave and what MY country should do. Do any of our British born who have naturalized elsewhere start venting their feelings on their new homes ? – not that I’ve heard. Can you imagine Sir Antony Hopkins who took US citizenship in 2000 sounding off about what the States should do about N.Korea ? No, and this lot that we see regularly on the box should keep their traps shut also.

I’d love to get them all in a room together, and ask one question; “where was your grandfather during the last war ? – certainly not fighting for the British cause that’s for sure”

Hi all, this is the BBC’s headline on their Football News page: ‘A harrowing afternoon but Liverpool’s brutal reality check must be put in context‘. It is currently the second story on their football news page and was a prominent story on their Sports News page. If you click on the headline it relates to Liverpool Football team losing a game of football.
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football

When reading that headline I thought there had been some sort of deadly terrorist action or that they were reviewing the Hillsborough tragedy of 1989, where 96 Liverpool fans died. But no it was just a report on a football match.

Then I thought to myself this is yet another fecking example of how the BBC can spin the news to create whatever they want to create – either a crisis when there is no crisis … or an “everything is fine” story when there is a crisis.

When are you sending them back Mrs May?

“For ordinary Syrians who attended, the fair was a symbol that their country is slowly returning to normalcy and that the secular government which provides for equal rights between religious and ethnic sects as well as equality between men and women is more determined than ever to build a modern country that reflects the real values of the stalwart Syrian people.

In addition to companies demonstrating their products, the fair also featured events displaying Syria’s rich cultural heritage.”

Since I have lived in Norway, and am married to a Norwegian, I thought that I would check out her article. It said nothing at all. I guess that that is the state of journalism at The Guardian. Short on substance and lacking in insightful observation.

      She says:

They have rebranded black people recently, apparently – changing the term from neger, which obviously has unfortunate connotations – to the more politically correct svart, meaning “with an immigrant background”. But black Swedes are svart even if they were born in Sweden. Not sure we would stand for that in London.

i am not entirely sure what she is seeking to imply with that comment, but “svart” is Norwegian (and Swedish) for the colour black. Svart does not mean “with an immigrant background.”

So Norwegians and Swedes are simply calling black people black. nothing remarkable in that. Something that goes on everyday in the UK, and is celebrated in awards such as MOBO (music of black origin).

Paul Hollywood used to present an unwatchable program about making cakes on the BBC before he and the program defected to Channel 4. The BBC are obviously upset, and have done all they can to traduce the new program using their radio and tv networks.

The latest attempt is a photo from 2003, of Hollywood dressed as a German World War 2 soldier. Apparently, this is forbidden by the BBC, and if it is forbidden by the soft left then no one is allowed to dress as a World War 2 German soldier for reasons I cannot fathom.

However, Hollywood was actually dressed as a character from a program called ‘Allo ‘Allo, which was made by, erm, er, oh yes, the BBC.

You couldn’t make it up, but the BBC do and do and do.

Doesn’t matter if it’s true or not, after all the great Satan of the BBC care nothing for the truth so why should those who oppose it. Imagine the fun that the Mail could have asking why the BBC gave this woman a platform while knowing that the contest that brought her fame was fixed by themselves. This story could run and run and undermine the BBC credibility with those people who actually watch that Bake Off thing. Come on Paul stick the knife in deep and twist it.

The embarrassing clown of a reporter, Jon Sopel, has brought out a new book called “If only they didn’t speak English: Notes from Trump’s America”

It is described as “explaining the frustrations and failures that led to the election of a clownish reality-TV mogul to the world’s most important job.”

It is published by BBC books.

Jon Sopel is paid £250,000 per year to work full-time as a reporter for the BBC, funded by the Television tax commonly referred to as the license fee, yet still somehow finds time to write a book that is blatantly biased against President Trump and then has it published by his employer.

What an absolute disgrace both Sopel and the BBC are……Sopel should be sacked for failing to do his job properly and the BBC should be prosecuted for failing to uphold their obligation to impartiality.

I think the URL says it all really, but to think that a gay man can make a suggestion and the BBC then seize on it simply because a vanishingly small minority suggests it shows how far down the path of idiocy they have gone.
Alas thanks to the ‘unique way they are funded’ the BBC does not need to care about audience reaction nor viewing figures.

On top of all that is the fact that they will piss any Muslim viewers off royally ! How is it that if I say something that pisses the Muslims off I’m ‘Islamofauxbik’ but when they do it then the Muslims better damn well get with the program?

On Friday a 16 year-old was given a three years custodial sentence in a young offenders unit for an attack in August 2016 on Arkadiusz Jozwick which resulted in his death.

Did you hear about it on the news? No?

Compare and contrast to the way the news of his murder was reported last year. It was just after the Brexit vote, and I am sure everybody will remember how the public was manipulated into believing that the two were correlated. The BBC news made it their headline for days, lecturing us that it was a hate crime, and racial tensions are high because of Brexit. There was flowers, there was a visit from the Polish president. Nigel Farage even got the blame, and the message was clear … Brexit voters look what you have unleashed.

It was none of that of course, it was the all too common story of two groups of men arguing about nothing in particular, it getting out of control, and a single punch ending in a death.

The only place I heard Friday’s sentence mentioned was on Eddie (£400,000 – £449,999) Mair’s PM programme, and he did refer to the hysteria of last years reporting. But even the 2 mins of sensible reporting here was in stark contrast to their own frenzied reporting which they were also guilty of.

Now I understand that two of the 4 squaddies branded “right-wing terrorists” have been released without charge, and no mention on the BBC front page. Again compare and contrast with the hysterical reporting from a few days ago.

I really think the BBC are guilty of stirring racial intolerance and suspicion. They really should be called out loudly for the traitors they are, prosecuted even using the same laws that they have helped create.

The idea that scumbags like this lot care one iota about politics shows how insular the media bubble is. There is an underclass, so like the Proles in 1984, and they generally have no interest in politics or any of the issues that concern our liberal elite. In another case of fake news, a gang supposedly asked someone if they were an asylum seeker then beat him up. I knew of the pub where his assailants had been drinking and they would not even know what an aslylum seeker is.
