The BBC has had a nasty shock. Their poster boy Tony Blair, with Andrew Adonis trotting at his heels, has received a mass and massive rejection. (Put the champagne bottles back back in the ‘frige’, JN Garvey. < Ulster pronounciation)
The BBC have had to ease down on their anti-Brexit, remain in the EU, propaganda. So instead they wheel out Judi Dench to emote over her anxiety that "we are leaving Europe". No, Dame Judi, we are leaving the EU. We are leaving an institution to join the whole, wide world.
Grant ,
There is a problem here. We want to govern ourselves with our own courts . But we don’t want a flood of migrants from the Rest of the World lake of the lead Remain politicians seem to. If Merkel hadn’t thrown open the door and The EU had done a reasonable of defending the the borders then I might have considered voting Remain as the lesser of two evils. But she did what she did and made my mind up for me.
Dt
There is a problem here,
This problem is that many persuasive contributors to BBBC, insist on mis-describing organisms that we do not require in the UK. Organisms who hate us, in many cases have always hated us.
Whose arrival is welcomed by traitors who also hate us, traitors who support an alien philosophy which killed one hundred million people. Who plan on continuing to kill people until everyone left alive votes Labour/Commie.
Traitors who have imported millions of aliens to vote for them, because the patriots will not.
Stop calling these alien invaders MIGRANTS, start calling them INVADERS.
Whose contribution to the UK is negative.
Stop using AlBeeb terminology, which side are you on?
Truth seeker,
I think the BBC still use the term refugee quite often. I didn’t think that migrant was an exclusive liberal left or BBC term. If it is then you are quite right to tick me off for using it. I do sometimes use the term invaders because it does feel as though our continent is being invaded, especially when you see them storming ashore like D day. But I doubt that the migrant invaders are a cohesive force hell bent on invasion. They just see an easy opportunity and are taking it.
That opportunity is provided by the liberal left who are the true enemy of European civilisation. Unfortunately they form the establishment elite right across the West and hold all of the levers of power. They are able to use the power of the MSM and judiciary and police to enforce their will and to persuade millions of ordinary folks to act against their own best interests which pretty much gives them control over the democratic process. The election of President Trump and Brexit are two rare examples of the elite losing control hence their concerted efforts to remove the President and reverse Brexit by mobilising the most gullible in our society, the young. They also are increasingly using their power to suppress any opposition to migration/ invasion and to suppress the indigenous peoples of Europe in favour of the imported minorities.
So the problem for those who oppose the mass migration policy is how to overthrow the elite because until that happens the migration or invasion will continue . To do so democratically requires getting voters to see where their own best interests lie but doing so up against the liberal left propaganda of the MSM is tough and in my view very little progress has been made in the UK , in fact we have gone backwards since the referendum. Perhaps the best hope lies in Eastern Europe or at the next French election as Macron is failing already and may leave the door open for Le Pen next time round. I hope that am unduly pessimistic and that events cause a rapid awakening of the people of Europe as to where their true interests lie.
So the bBC still continues to promote the view that the British Virgin Isles have received no aid from the UK Hurricane Irma wreaks havoc in British Virgin Islands
According to the bBC, people are starving due to a lack of food and water. and here is how the local media reports the story: Commercial Flights Could Start This Week—Vanterpool
The Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport at Beef Island is likely to start accommodating commercial flights as early as Monday, September 10. Hon. Mark Vanterpool, Minister of Communications and Works, told BVI Platinum News that they will also be allowing private planes to land at the Beef Island…
Meanwhile, the Works Minister who is also the owner of One Mart Supermarket said that there are lots of food and water on the island available for residents. He mentioned the other two major supermarkets–RiteWay and Bobby’s. “We don’t have food problem. I also had food shipped in just before the storm, left on a boat and they are arriving here on Crowley Shipping and Tropical is out there with more food for us. We are organizing that, and that will be okay; we have lots of food, water,” he related. He also spoke about other supplies on its way. “Also lots of barges coming in with lots of supplies, batteries, generators; some are coming from Trinidad, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Miami once Hurricane Irma passed and we are settled…Yes those are to be sold,” Hon. Vanterpool stated. He said that government is patnerning with others with the relief efforts. “The government is also bringing supplies to give out from different donations so they are going to organize that. It’s going to be under control by some soldiers and distribution sites and they are going to announce that.” Minister Vanterpool added, “…Supplies are coming in at a faster pace than we can even handle. So people shouldn’t even worry about supplies.”
Pounce, Bojo let slip on the TODYA for Programme that the UK sends a naval vessel to the Carib every year in advance of the hurricane season. No acknowledgement from the Humph, no further questions on that subject, he just continued to push the standard lame narrative “the Government hasn’t/isn’t/will not be doing enough”.
Well, John, if you were prepared to pay tax at 75% on your BBC income above £150,000, and all your colleagues likewise, I am sure the Government could do a whole lot more for everyone.
However, I bet that if the Chancellor came on R4 with a proposal to do just that, Humph, you and many others at the BBC will be quick to rush to a mic to say “We know that charging higher taxes doesn’t work.” and “You charge more and you get less coming in.”.
Really winds me up. I did a six month tour of Belize a few years back and I saw at first hand how the Brits prepare for the hurricane and rainy season. (Put it this way, not a good idea to fall in one of the culverts when drunk). The locals sick of the yearly flooding and such moved the capital from Belize city 70Kms inland to Belmopan, so damage mitigation can be done. Granted the Islands are a lot smaller. But whats to stop them building bunkers. I mean Cuba did.
“The Dutch, French, US are air-lifting out their citizens. But there's no UK representation” – Geoffrey’s daughter is stranded in St Martin pic.twitter.com/zHnKp0cTUP
5 seconds on the GOV UK Foreign travel advice website for St Maarten reveals:
The British Vice Consul in Willemstad, Curacao is responsible for the delivery of consular assistance to British nationals in the Dutch part of the island (St Maarten). The British Embassy in Paris is responsible for the delivery of consular assistance to British nationals in the French part of the island (St Martin).
The hurricane season in the Caribbean normally runs from June to November. Hurricane Jose is forecast to bring hazardous sea and weather conditions to north-eastern parts of the Caribbean from around 9 September 2017. You should monitor updates from the US National Hurricane Centre and follow the instructions of the local authorities, including any evacuation orders.
Why is it people who can’t be f-ing bothered to do their homework are everybody elses problem. I mean so many people with no water. Why didn’t they fill up a jerry can or two before hand, or buy a load of water in? Same with food. Its now 6 days since Irma passed by, are we saying nobody decided to stock up?
We’ve just been through a hurricane in the US. Fortunately in a high ground area, so no flooding and not much wind really either. But seeing devastating local effects. The preparation was quite clearly stated – ignore at your peril. If you don’t speak English/Spanish, then you might be at a disadvantage – another reason to learn the language if you immigrate. These are hurricane prone areas, so there is no excuse for not preparing/evacuating if advised to do so, and everyone that buys property or holidays in these areas knows the risk. This is just another reason for the BBC to make (fake) news, whinge about governments etc.
Nobody (reasonably healthy and well fed to start with) starves to death in 6 days, it takes weeks, if not months, to starve to death. Clean drinking water is more of an issue, I grant you, but anyone with a grain of common sense would get some plastic jerry cans and fill them with clean water, and stock up on tinned food, all located in a safe place BEFORE the event – it’s not as if they didn’t have warning enough.
I do feel sorry for those who’ve lost: homes, businesses, and especially friends and family, but hurricanes are part and parcel of living in that part of the world and those who live there, or visit as tourists, must be aware of that surely?
Having said that I’d much rather my taxes went towards helping people in the path of these hurricanes rebuild their lives than in encouraging further uncontrolled immigration to the UK.
Steady on – we all know that as good citizens we should sit back and wait for ‘the guvvamant’ to do everything for us. Stocking up on food and water and relying on your own initiative sounds like dangerous right wing extremism to me! If people get ideas like that into their head they might start reading books or going to the local pub to meet other extremists, instead of stopping at home watching the BBC.
“My age of attraction is one to 15 but as they get younger the emotional attraction is more prominent.”
…
“I don’t really think of a toddler in much of a sexual way, but rather, I want to cuddle one and make sure they’re happy. That is mainly it with younger children.”
…
Adam says she believed that he would never abuse a child. But she couldn’t hide her reaction when he told her that he was attracted to children as young as one.
Wanting to cuddle and protect a child isn’t paedophilia, it’s parenthood. I read the passage about Adam, but when it went on to another, I just felt repulsed by the BBC’s attempt to normalise and present these pervs as victims. How do they know that just because they haven’t acted on their feelings, they won’t in the future? Surely every paedophile starts off like this! Maybe they will revisit him in twenty years to ‘see where he’s at’! Should the police have a look at his computer?
The bit that really got me was trying to suggest that it’s a medical condition with a name. Well, ok, is it a form of mental disorder? Extrapolate that to other sexual feelings….then the bbc will get into hot water with themselves.
This sort of sick perverted, titillating reporting needs to be stopped and we should not be funding it.
This is getting tiring – the BBC does not represent what I would call news to make me understand the World I live in. Why do we help pay for the salary of Gary ‘£1.75m Not a single positive in Brexit’ Lineker?
“Once kicked a ball about. Now talk about kicking a ball about. Still flogging spuds. BBC Sport, BT Sport, Walkers, @goalhangerfilms …Instagram garylineker”
David Schneider is a left wing comedian (!) who is said to enjoy the benefit of a superinjunction about something or other. I expect he was putting Little David in some place he shouldn’t have. Perhaps in the interests of openness and democracy he could drop the superinjunction, and let us know a little more about the man who is keen to tell us all what to think?
That’s the guy. What a heart warming role model for us all to follow!
If he was pro-Brexit we would never hear the end of his fondness for hanky-spanky. Odd isn’t it how leftists always get a free pass from their friends in the MSM?
He’s a mate of Steve Coogan’s. Their nights out must be a real riot of good clean fun.
This is clearly the Idiots Guide designed for snowflakes and other intellectually challenged people who can be swayed by tripe. Just another Remainer trick to delay and obstruct democracy.
DEMOCRATIC
* Interpreting a simple Yes/No referendum on leaving the European Union as wanting Independence.
NOT DEMOCRATIC
* Insisting Parliament can oppose the Referendum result.
* Expressing any reservations about freedom.
* Trying to point out freedom might be flawed.
* Demonstrating against freedom.
* Insisting freedoms are properly opposed by Parliament.
* Objecting to reversing the unparalleled power grab by the European Union that undermined the sovereignty of Parliament.
“Would you allow these people to babysit your children?”
That should be the test for the @ssholes who want to let creatures such as that out of prisons or mental hospitals, because they: “no longer pose a risk”.
Fine, if you’re sure that’s the case, then let them look after your children; grandchildren; nephews or nieces for a weekend without any supervision.
I wonder how many would be put forward for release then?
Where do successful people go?
Where do people go to escape tyranny?
Where do people go to capitalize on their talents?
What is the preferred choice for economic migrants?
Who do people hope will police the World?
Who do people hope will defend them from aggression?
Which posting is most popular with bbc hacks?
That would be America and even America under Trump and that’s something that blows a huge hole in the bbc ethos.
Where do paedophiles go to pick up children whilst broadcasting it around the country?
Where do people go to escape being investigated by altering the news output to 50% of the Country?
Where do people go to capitalize on their gender, race or immigrant status?
What is the preferred choice for economic migrants?
Who do people hope will police the Words and Languages of World including Pidgin?
Who do people hope will defend them from hate speech?

Because of the unique way the BBC is funded, we have revealed what happens when you create a totalitarian echo chamber (BBC diverse in people, but NOT diverse in opinion) that is enforced upon its citizens with threats of prison at £145pa … raising £3.5bn in TV Tax.
Thanks to gaxvil for the ideas – surely this is “Enough is enough!” or at least “Enough to going with at the moment in which to limit the scope of the BBC.”.
One new problem to overcome is no matter where anyone goes to ‘escape’, via their own efforts and funded themselves, to live and work with likeminded others in harmony, there will be a bunch left behind (perhaps with good reason) who will decide that having trashed their ‘hood this new place is where they deserve to be too.
But, sadly, there will also be a bunch of weasels somehow allowed along with the first for the ride who will sulk, petition, protest and otherwise act like arses until they can screw things up for everyone by insisting the melting pot has enough floaters for them to feel virtuous.
This is why the ‘BBC Ark’ is perhaps the best concept I ever read about.
Alicia……………”Me too Brissels.
I was one of the hippie chicks in Vernon Yard as I complained about his not signing my boyfriends band in the mid 70s.
What a weasel…he was right about the band though, I should have tipped my cloche ”
Was it a crocheted cloche ???? Never mind Al, we all have regrets. Back in the 90’s I missed a fabulous opportunity of shaking the hand of my hero Fred Astaire’s daughter Ava. A visit to the loo was the worst timed ever !!!
I`m that predicable, yes it was crocheted with a fetching large pansy on the side.
Freddie Parrot Face Davies, Jimmy Cricket and a touch of Paddington in there somewhere.
The pictures of my Portobello Rd shame will go with me to the grave, or maybe the care home-as long as I can`t hear what my girls think of the rice bag and cheesecloth era.
Historical fashion crimes? I throw myself upon the mercy of the court!
Or a pile of old Jackies and Fab 208s anyway…whichever is nearer…
There is/was a similar one on CBEEBIES. She was not much of a presenter and I’m afraid showing the stump rather than a positive and useful prosthetic is akin to a presenter showing their colostomy scar.
Gax,
Have a look at Team Unlimbited, with a ‘b’. Caught this fella on George Clarke’s wee shed show last night.
What a thoroughly decent bloke.
Our £147/ licence fee would change totally the lives of 7 children if given to him, a far more worthy recipient.
Rich-She has been there quite some time now. You just haven’t noticed it. It could be
quite soon I reckon that the diversity department at the BBC wil instruct their meteorology
department , that if they don’t get their American associates to be diverse and start to
call their hurricanes Muhammed, Aaisha ,or at the very least Dorothy, they wont in
the name of diversity and positive discrimination cover hurricanes anymore!
Well at least in the UK we can say that in Artford,Ereford and Ampshire , urricanes
ardly heve r appen !!! And I am proud I am a London Cockney!!!
Hurricane Irma don begin hammer Florida {bbc.co.uk sep2017}

– BBC, feel free to use this free translator so you can have a Jar Jar Binks translation as well, but at no cost to the TV Tax Payer?
– Paid for by the Government and the BBC in partnership, but without tax payers consent.
– What would Jar Jar say? “Missa no care!”
Weather girls usually stand side on to the camera. I hope the one armed weather girl remembers to stand on the side that shows her missing limb to the cameras. Otherwise we might not realise we are being diversified!
So ‘Ethnic Cleansing’ in Burma says the UN! I’m afraid the MSM has overdrawn my compassion account and I’m forced to quote the great Barrack Obama, “There’s always bad stuff happening somewhere in the World”.
One could list all the, “bad stuff” that’s occurred over the years and how little use the UN has been.
And why little mention of the repression, starvation and death camps of North Korea? Not trendy or exciting enough?
There is rarely any positive news – it is always bad . I mean real news and details about the humanitarian aid and help that countries that need help are getting. And there is certainly NEVER any news about what Israel is doing for the world. “Israel is investing $1 billion in renewable energy projects for Africa” One headline in this week’s newsletter http://www.verygoodnewsisrael.blogspot.com
Labour is anti Israel as is the bbc. Extraordinary really – an ally, a Western leaning advanced civil society and we are urged by MSM and the Islamophiles to treat Israel as a pariah state – extraordinary.
As I’ve discovered by looking into the facts, one person’s ‘ethnic cleansing’ is another’s ‘resisting an armed Islamic jihad’. The situation is nowhere near as clear-cut as the hateful BBC is attempting to portray it.
FACT: There is an active Islamic insurgency in Rakhine state, Myanmar – a terrorist threat Myanmar government forces are attempting to eradicate. The stated aim of the insurgents is to establish an Islamic state within Rakhine. I won’t pretend this doesn’t lead to dreadful actions on the part of those resisting the terrorists – most likely illegal actions – but the BBC can’t even present the facts with even a degree of honesty or accuracy.
Is the BBC an object lesson in why socialism is a bad thing?
It is criminally inefficient as nobody cares when they are spending someone else’s money – hence the upcoming wank fest of disabled people touring Vietnam.
It is controlled by an out of touch elite with whom the vast majority of people disagree, who do not live by the rules they enforce. Just like the pigs in Animal Farm forbidding other animals from befriending humans whilst they themselves fraternise with humans,
the Beeb tell us immigration is fantastic whilst themselves living in white ghettos. Why is BBC Bristol in Clifton and not StPauls if other cultures are so fantastic?
It is enforced through an iron fist. If you do not pay, you go to prison. For all their talk of ‘inclusion’ that is incredibly harsh.
If payment for the service were optional, they would be forced to pull their socks up. No more free holidays, sneering reporters or made up news as nobody would fund that. They would be forced to improve their service, and as the market is competitive they could probably do it for a third of the money. And we would not have the poor and vulnerable, whom the Beeb purport to support, being oppressed by Capita chasing ‘licence fee’ dodgers. Perhaps we could have deferred prosecution for those who don’t pay – call them ‘dreamers.’
They just serve up PC rubbish and fake news which runs against the opinion of the majority of British people. I did a straw poll the other day with 30 friends and only ‘TWO’ of them said that the BBC represented a fair and balanced output!! I don’t think that they realise how much they are despised (not that they care which is the crux of the matter in my opinion).
Quite frankly, they are traitors to the UK and when it comes around (and it will), they should be judged accordingly.
This ‘corrupt’ organisation should be closed down immediately.
True. I just wonder if any other, ‘state sponsored’, organisation anywhere in the World has so much freedom and cash to propagandize to the detriment of their nation? I very much doubt it.
On bbc WS now – Millionaire elite, Judy Dench described as an, ‘intelligent actress’, bemoaning Brexit and concerns for an insular UK.
What of the, unintelligent actresses? Anyway I thought the term, ‘actress’ was taboo.
Take Friday as an example from so many, where they carry water for criminals saying the justice system is ‘biased.’ They have no concern for the victims of crime, only the perpetrators. It is a state broadcaster, and the state’s ultimate responsibility is to keep its people safe.
It is like a football club paying a player a fortune to score own goals every match.
“…Is the BBC an object lesson in why socialism is a bad thing?”
I’d say it’s more of an object lesson in what happens when all the bad things socialism does go unremarked, often revised and almost always ignored.
As for the choice of Vietnam – well, besides being a damn good jolly on the licence payer’s money it also happens to be one of the world’s few remaining working Communist states*. I’m sure the North London luvvies making this joke of series are more than happy to spend a few months in the doubtless ‘revolutionary’ company of their comrades in the great struggle.
There was a remarkable interview on Toady this morning between Sa-rah-rah Montagu and a Christian couple who no longer wanted their child to attend a C of E primary school where a “transgender” child was turning up to school on different days dressed as either a boy or a girl.
If ever an interview exhibited the chasm in beliefs between the cultural Marxists of entities such as al Beebus and ordinary folk, then this was it. Montage sounded as though she felt she was talking to reanimations of Oliver Cromwell and his wife.
I chuckled to myself when she asked them some such as: “Was it just the clothes that bothered you?”
As though it’s perfectly normal for a young child to be sent to school dressed as a boy on one day and then as a girl the next and to object to such a thing was simply preposterous.
Yes, heard it and left wondering – are the likes of Montague, under the cosh, being bribed or simply deranged?
The reference to only an estimated 2% of six year olds suffer from, ‘gender confusion’ by the time of puberty made Montague and the whole piece utterly irrelevant.
If I were on that programme I would say ‘Sarah, let me ask you a question. If a middle aged man identified as a six year old girl, dressed accordingly, and wanted to be educated in your daughter’s school, would you be happy with that? If not, why not? Would you be happy if he invited your daughter to a sleepover at his house? If not, why not? Would it just be the clothes that bothered you?
Cranmer, I am awaiting the first case where a boy “identifies” as a girl and his parents demand that he be admitted as a pupil to a school for girls; or a girl does the same and make a similar demand for a place at a boys school.
The whole thing is completely insane, yet anybody who attempts to point that out is prevented from so doing by a combination of “hate speech” legislation and the total lack of any significant media platform given for someone to offer the alternate view; the view which so happens to be that of the vast majority of the population.
I’m afraid free speech and thought went out of the window the minute that social media became the Alien in our midst. No-one dare say anything that might be construed as offensive, we have to apologise for long forgotten photos and dialogue from decades ago, the minorities have the upper hand, and humour is dead and buried.
B
The BBC staff are all lying treasonous cunts.
Laws should be carefully framed which allow them to be executed, legally.
Executions should take place in public so we can all cheer.
If this is not offensive enough let me know.
Several more gears not yet used.
The various “insights” on gender/sex offered by “progressives” are simply self-contradicfory nonsense.
On the one hand, we are expected to believe that parents selecting boys clothing for their boys and girls toys for their girls imposes gender roles on them and, then, on the other hand, we are also expected to believe that, say, a boy who has barely learned to speak spontaneously expresses a desire to wear a dress to express his feminine nature. If girls only like pink dresses because of conditioning and not due to an inborn propensity , you cannot then argue that a six-year old boy is expressing his “true” gender by wearing a dress or playing with girls’ toys. Boys who spontaneously play with cars rather than dolls have been brainwashed in some way and must be reconditioned, yet a boy who wants to wear a dress is following some inherent or genetically determined impulse. If this is a real phenomenon, where is the evidence, say, from studies of monozygotic twins raised apart?
ID there is no scientific (I mean real scientific, not the pet pseudo-academic, pseudo-scientists the BBC always seems to manage to dredge up from some third rate ex-Poly) evidence that refutes the view that the vast majority of girls actually want to be girls, and ‘boys will be boys’, regardless.
We are only talking about a tiny, tiny minority who actually have ‘gender dimorphism’, or whatever the current trendy term is, and let’s be completely honest most of those who do have other, far more serious, mental problems that really need tackling first.
When my son was 6 if we’d sent him to school in a dress I’m quite sure we would have had a visit from social services, that’s only 5/6 years ago now – this transgender thing is just a trendy fad, propagated by the likes of the BBC because everyone is tired of being ‘outraged’ by ‘homophobia’, ‘gender bias’, ‘islamaphobia’, etc… they just needed to invent something new to moan about.
I do feel really sorry for these very ‘ordinary’ seeming parents, perhaps that’s their ‘problem’, they’re too damn ordinary and reasonable, and clearly aren’t ‘progressive’ enough, clearly need sending to a gulag for re-education.

Yet she was 14 and the statutory limit for consent is 16,
She was raped at 14 , made pregnant at 15 .. IMHO consent can only be considered coercive.

They next showed Rotherham anti-abuse signs written in the Slovak language that ethnic Roma speak, since the abusers seem to have moved onto that community.
Michael Blastland is on the case: ‘The Difference A Day Makes: Whodunnit?, The Calendar Conspiracy’ BBC R4 Mon-Fri @1.45pm.
Those wicked BBC engineers, no doubt enraged at how much money the BBC give Michael Blastland and Gary Lineker and Graham Norton and Chris Evans, are sabotaging the sleuth during his investigations and either jiggling around with the sliders on the mixing desk or making Michael set and adjust his own levels, dashing to and from the mic position. I found the first half of today’s episode very difficult to hear. Maybe it’s all down to Irma?
Then, I was left wondering whether he was stoned or drunk or both. Very strange, plunging from normal levels to ‘sotto voce’ and then back again.
He started out on a dodgy premise, too, forgetting that June is in summer as well as July and August. He was certainly rather weak on supporting evidence, citing just one case and that of a BBC Producer (from Sweden of all places) and her son. And ‘the problem’, if it is indeed one at all, has been known about since I was at school if not long before.
Think I’ll give episodes 2-5 a miss.
Gwyneth love, I hope you’re taking note of yet another BBC R4 1.45pm ‘fail’.
One of today’s top headlines on BBC is them shaming Christian parents who have removed their child from a school because another kid was transexual. The parents said the transexual was confusing their own child because he was dressing up like a girl and using a girl’s name.
So instead of focusing on the parents of the transexual, and asking why a 6 year old child is declaring themselves a transexual, they’re attacking the parents who removed their child from such influences. This being the BBC who only recently aired a “documentary” which showed 7-year-old exclusively white children being mentally abused for six weeks into believing they didn’t have a sex.
Pay attention to the fact this was a Victoria Derbyhire story… this woman is basically a militant feminist and the BBC hold her in very high regard.
Times “UK life expectancy not rising”
Em most people dying now were born around wartime
So that might skew figs
As well as near dying migrants coming here for free treatment.
The bBC reports today on:
Parents on taking their child out of school after he was suspended for referring to a 6 year old boy as a boy after that child wore a dress.

How James Blunt crowd-surfed in a dinghy

Quoting the muslim UN human rights chief who admits “the situation could not be fully assessed because Myanmar had refused access to human rights investigators”. Even the BBC admits “the Rohingya are extremely unpopular inside Myanmar”. Why?
Meanwhile, elsewhere on the planet and unreported by the BBC ….
Flex,
“Are we getting the full story?”
Your question should be transformed into an assertion viz. ‘We are not getting the full and accurate story’. In the case of the BBC that must be your first assumption to work from. Then, assess their motivation based upon their known modus operandi.
This guy sounds (and looks) like he’s in the mould of Milo.

– I do wish he would open a Blair Sponsored food bank and help all the nurses instead, now that would be real changing news, he could work with Laura Pidcock …
Thanks Stew.
Am watching it now.
Only about half the bodies have actually been identified formally, even sixteen years on.
And yet the “Question Time” below stands timeless as being the very embodiment of BBC and liberal groupthink.
To hear the likes of Ashdown is truly disgusting-and I can only imagine what the audience and panelists, Dimblebys take will be. God-even Jimmy Savile looks good in comparison, can`t imagine he`d blame the Americans for this atrocity.
Antifracking demonstrators use a slow walk demonstration tactic to obstruct road movements
Ineos had obtained a secret injunction against the practice ..Viv Westward’s son a millionaire thru selling “Agent Provocateur lingerie” corp” is funding appeal.
He said with the injunction Ineos are using “bully boy tactics”
#projection..cos antifrackers are big on intimidation like sending contractors ” we know where you live” letters etc.
EXCEPT the BiasedBBC. I checked the main ‘news’ page, then UK, England, Business, Politics pages. No mention, anywhere. I guess it is not ‘news’ because it gives the wrong message…..

4:30pm Radio4 Life of Mo’s wife
Khadijah : Beyond Belief
“It is said that behind every great man there is a great woman. The Prophet Muhammad was married many times; but for 25 formative years, he remained faithful to one woman, Khadijah. She is widely recognised as the First Muslim and her story may be surprising to many non-Muslims. She was a successful business woman. She was considerably older than Muhammad, and it was she who proposed to him. She must have been a formidable presence. There are many debates about the place of women in the Muslim world; could Khadijah be an appropriate role model for Muslim women today? Joining Ernie Rea to discuss Khadijah, ” http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0938k8z
Sir Mo Farah wants to be known as “Mohamed” when he starts the next chapter of his career.
The 34-year-old claimed a silver medal in his last track championship race in London, finishing behind Ethiopia’s Muktar Edris in the 5,000 metres on Saturday night.
Mo Farrar is from Somalia not Ethiopia. In fact, he is from Somaliland – a fully autonomous former British colony. Capital Hargeisa.
The strange thing is that Somaliland has been peaceful for very many years and only experienced a couple of days of light skirmishing when Somalia collapsed. Otherwise, it’s a perfectly safe place to live and visit. Yet, those from Somaliland have been granted asylum here in the UK and hence we got Farrar and his family. Here on false pretenses with his pals and thanks to an ignorant UK Home Office. These people should be sent back to Hargeisa.
I wonder if Sir Mo’s commercial advisers might have a word with him about this? If I were running the Quorn account I am not sure if I would like friendly old “Mo” to be replaced by the name which has brought so much trouble to the world.
I respect your dedication!
Actually I heard that Quorn are expanding their manufacturing output (based in the NE?) DESPITE BREXIT!!
Its everywhere, you can’t get away from it: https://www.quorn.co.uk/faqs/nutrition
Classed as Halal even without meat products
Quorn Foods have certain products that are Halal approved. This is so that they can be sold to catering establishments, hospitals, schools and colleges where this approval is required. As Quorn is a meat free brand, the assessment has nothing to do with the treatment of animals, but rather, it is to ensure there is no alcohol used in either the products or the process of manufacture.
We have gained Kosher approval with the Manchester Beth Din for Mycoprotein™ and our frozen Mince packs. Please visit the Manchester Beth Din website and search for Quorn for details of our approved products. We will be working to expand this approval to other Quorn products in the near future.
Diners ‘unknowingly eating Halal’ at Wembley {bbc.co.uk sep2010}
“Sporting venues across London routinely serve Halal meat to customers without informing them, it has emerged. … Many Muslims only eat Halal meat, which is from animals whose throats have been cut to drain them of blood while they are still alive and conscious. (BBC forgets to mention that a reading from the Koran has to be performed, Muslim’s only need apply)”
“She [Khadijah] is widely recognised as the First Muslim”
So how come Imams Cameron and May refer to Abraham [our ‘shared’ prophet] during their Eid messages? Wasn’t he a Muslim? [Careful now Ernie, think before you open your mouth for the last time].
It sounds like Mohammed (pbuh) was a bit of a Macron in his time. Of course, as soon as the religion took off and the money started rolling in, he started to get a lot more action with the chicks, what with his eleven wives and numerous sex slaves. Khadijah was probably a bit past it by then, so why not replace her with a six year old?
Seriously, what decent, compassionate prophet with a hotline to God would not want to have sex with captive women and children? How could anything go wrong with a religion founded by such a fundamentally decent guy?
“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to …” – George Orwell

The phrase ‘long history of anxiety’ and ‘threats’ implies that it’s all in the minds of the English. I look forward to a similar programme about the ‘long history of anxiety over threats to black/gay/Muslim identity.’
Missed the programme.
Just read a “review”, in the Guardian, of the new Clinton book.
It seems that Donald Trump was the model for Big Brother in 1984, 70 years after publication!
That Orwell was really good at predicting the future.
I have not read “What Happened” but I would be surprised not to find that the title is misleading, they use an interrogative title but forget the ?.
I do not know if Benghazi is mentioned in the book, but it is not mentioned in the “Review”.
The $500,000 a night speeches paid for by Wall St are described as a mistake by the author.
The fact she was not able to resist the loot is one reason, out of several million, why she should never have been elected.
No doubt the book will raise some more funds for the Clinton Empire, but not from me.

Toronto Film Festival: George Clooney ‘felt sick’ shooting Suburbicon
George Clooney has said he “felt sick” while directing some scenes in his new movie Suburbicon. The film’s plot sees a black family move into a predominantly white suburban community in the 1950s. Referring to the way the family is treated in the film, the director said: “These are things that happened – [neighbours] sang church hymns, they hung confederate flags over the fence, they built a fence around their house, these are things that really happened. But it was sickening to be part of it quite honestly, so that was one of the most difficult things to shoot.” The movie, which is currently showing as part of the Toronto Film Festival, was conceived during the run up to the US election of November 2016, which was won by Donald Trump. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-41221390
I hope Mr ‘Virtue Signal’ Clooney remembers that in the US, in the 50s, the single biggest supporters of racism against black Americans were the Democrats (Prop. KKK) who did all they could to frustrate repeated Republican attempts to desegregate and normalise race relations in the States. Somehow, I doubt those inconvenient facts will find their way into this fairytale.
I wonder if Mr Clooney’s social conscience will prompt him to make a film about the persecution of Christians in the middle east? Something that is happening now, not 60 years ago, and which involves rather more sickening things than singing hymns and hanging up confederate flags.
I would add tosspot to the list of insults. Is this a hate crime?
Plus, in National Enquirer fashion and using BBC technique ‘some say’ he is a closet gay and Amal is a man. No sightings of the twins yet…maybe they haven’t been ‘delivered’ yet. Is all that a hate crime, or just silly gossip?
What a carry on in the Caribbean.
Britain criticised for not flying in aid during hurricane in order that it would be ready for distibution the moment the wind dropped. Who was that black governess who was almost incandescent with rage because the aid wasn’t there the very next day? Very reminiscent of Grenfell – blame whitey?
Meanwhile…….. Irma: Looters caught on camera in Miami
I had to turn up the brightness on my TV as it seemed all the looters were black.
In another unfortunate incident, Richard Branson told the BBC that it got so windy he spilt some of his champagne.
And one assumes that all the prisoners who escaped from jail on the island were, ahem, black then ? I’d love to hear David Lammy’s thoughts on the civil unrest caused by the natives and the ‘unfairness’ of it all.
Find the missing BBC news, a great BBC game for all the family. On February 2016 the Fatwa on Salman Rushdie was renewed by Iran. This was the start of the UKs bending of its laws and culture to accommodate religious demands.
… other news outlets reported on Iran’s Fatwa against free speech and Salman Rushdie …
– Dear BBC £3.5bn News Service, could you find some time to chase up this little matter of missing a very important story. Or showing me where you hid the article?
– Were you not interested in investigating this latest demand from the Iranian Religious Lobby – which according to your last report cannot be changed (irrevocable), not even by moderate Muslims in the UK.
The BBC have actually been caught peddling fake news in a court judgement last week. The story contains all the inevitable factors Brexit, racism, and murder by some chav.
You probably remember the story of the Polish man allegedly murdered by a gang of racist thugs encouraged by Brexit, eventually escalating to the Polish ambassador being involved.
The reality was very different, it was not a murder, but a manslaughter, the racism came from the drunken Police man & his mates and it was only after they assaulted one of the youths that they retaliated with a single punch, but even that was not fatal, it was the landing on the pavement and banging his head.
The BBC claims that it will not blame Islamic terrorists until the facts are known, and yet it does not extend that same caution when it believes the perpetrators are white. Most people would regard that as that meaningless word ‘racism’, although the BBC don’t accept you can be racist against white people so they are fair game for every insult and slur going.
The BBC are liars. I don’t trust anything they say.The government should appoint a special investigator into the truth or otherwise of BBC reports. But the Tories are so frightened of the BBC that they dare not do it. Instead the best that we will get is the totally compromised OFCOM report, basically the BBC investigating itself.
Sixteen years on, words can still fail me.
Apart from Dalyell, who at least had the urge to go off and die-all the others are STILL asked for their views regularly on the BBC, and all are well paid…not that we know Dimblebys half a million pieces of silver officially.
If we were any kind of nation-these people would have been lynched the next day.
Anyone found guilty of non payment of the licence fee should have deferred prosecution and be classified as a ‘dreamer.’ Anyone who seeks to enforce the law is a Nazi.
The BBC seems desperate to smear everyone else as fake news in order to try and deflect the spotlight which, annoyingly for them, keeps swinging their way. No mention in this article that not many fell for their constant hyping of this hurricane having been made worse by global warming. Since Irma had the audacity not to be the disaster that Harrabin, Little Matt McGrath et al had all crossed their fingers tightly in hope of, the global warming smoking gun seems to have been allowed to slip away quietly.
There is an article in the Guardian where the MP for Newcastle performs intellectual gymnastics to somehow reframe the rape gang epidemic as an issue of ‘misogyny’ rather than one of race or religion.
Like the worst tyrants, they will do anything to cling on to power. When white girls get raped by men with brown skin and nobody stops it, the whole ‘white privilege’ notion is clearly nonsense. Yet the intersectionists will sacrifice anything on the altar of cultural Marxism. The article is an absolute disgrace.
Bear in mind the Guardian is the most read newspaper at the BBC.

I’m still waiting for the “Beyond 100 Days :: After the BBC Announced its Ludicrous Wages”

Possibly enough BBC mishaps for Beyond 1 Year!
Comrades! Wonderful news! Your propaganda ministry is bring news of the heroic efforts of the Socialist comrades of the Labour party removing the treacherous John Clancy from control of Birmingham city council. This counter revolutionary was never a Labour comrade so we will not refer to him as such, throughout the entire article.
Even the commissar for the secret police and security has denounced the traitor, and investigations are now underway to find other traitors who may have assisted him.
He will be replaced most immediately by our comrade Ian Ward who has the party’s full confidence.

Reading the various posts and links on this thread brought to mind Bizarro World, which some of you may remember from your Superman comic-reading days in the 1960s.
The Bizarros try to live their backwards lives as opposite of Earth as possible: a Bizarro salesman sold Bizarro bonds that were “guaranteed to lose money for you”, and the mayor of Mutropolis asks Bizarro to investigate a crime because he is “stupider than the entire Bizarro police force put together”, which Bizarro interpreted (correctly) as the greatest praise a Bizarro can receive on Htrae.

Breaking news on the BBC – Soldiers charged with terror offences. The terror offences being membership of National Action! The BBC will get plenty of mileage out of this as it will take the spotlight off the religion of peace.
I have never heard of any members of the PIRA or the Real IRA or the UDA in the UK being arrested for membership of a terror organisation – perhaps because they have Blairs letter of protection from prosecution !
Hopefully all those who have returned or in the process of returning from fighting with ISIL will be charged and banged up for up to 10 years
Somehow I don’t think so….
Ludicrous nonsense isn`t it?
The Tories also gave us the Dangerous Dogs Act where the poor old Japanese Tojo dog was made illegal.
We`d never heard of it until Major banned it.
National Action are similarly turned into a non-threat.
Possibly not just BBC, but the details are like a spoof…
‘possession of a weapon – pepper spray’
‘possession of a document likely to be useful to a person preparing to commit an act of terrorism’
‘allegedly posting a number of National Action stickers at the Aston University’
Not wanting to belittle terrorism as an offence, but hardly comparable with guns, knives, mowing down pedestrians, bombs. Get a grip Britain.
Other charges include:
1) In possession of a white face likely to cause offence.
2) In possession of a St George’s flag and a white van.
3) In possession of Nazi literature: BBC ‘Allo ‘Allo! series 1 and 2 DVD collection.
4) In possession of a carving knife found in a kitchen drawer.
Greater Manchester Political Correctness Enforcement Squad once carried out a raid on premises and proudly announced they had found a gun and ammunition.
It was more than a little odd that no one was charged with firearms offences until we later found out that the alleged weapon was in fact a spud gun, and the ammunition a potato!
An amusing story, but not when you consider that this is the kind of distortion of the facts which those in authority are perpetrating on the populace every day.
The amazing thing is that the UK, and indeed Western Europe, have been subjected to so much Islam and yet there has been so little reaction against it. Uncontrolled Muslim immigration and Muslim violence against our way of life would have appalled previous generations, who fought two world wars to preserve our way of life. What people think about the Muslim invasion and prosecution of war on the UK is another matter. However it’s impossible to tell other than on websites such as this because our governments and the media have conspired to suppress expressions of dissent against mass immigration and hostile, unyielding alien cultures in our cities. Now we have the nazi-like searching out of ‘hate speech ‘ by Saunders and a docile politically correct police force. This is another turn of the screw and ultimately it could lead to the end of websites such as this . That’s my fear.
EE,
I agree with you. The likes of Douglas Murray will soon be persecuted because of their articulate opposition to the policy of mass migration and to Islamification.
It is highly disingenuous to intimate someone is charged as a terrorist when they are merely a member of a proscribed group, one which is proscribed for political reasons, and not for any actual crimes committed (other than thought crime).
Having said that National Action are a nasty bunch of Lefties every bit as bad as Momentum in their hatred of Jews, the only real difference is who they regard the master race to be.
Just been in Germany for 4 days. The whole of the country seems to be one giant mess, litter and graffiti abound, never ever would you expect that of Germans. Beautiful medieval towns untouched during the war now covered in a sea of graffiti. It would appear that the social fabric of Germany is collapsing, and that my friends is really bad news.
Radio 4 news headline story about Burma describes Aung San Suu Kyi as the former Nobel prize winner. Wishful thinking on the part of the former most trusted broadcaster in the world as it strips Aung San Suu Kyi of her award.

Complaining is futile thanks to the unique way yada yada.

So the bBC still continues to promote the view that the British Virgin Isles have received no aid from the UK
Hurricane Irma wreaks havoc in British Virgin Islands
According to the bBC, people are starving due to a lack of food and water. and here is how the local media reports the story:
Commercial Flights Could Start This Week—Vanterpool
Beef Island is linked to Tortola by a bridge
It appears the bBC, doesn’t like reporting the truth.

The bBC is currently airing this:

British comedian/actor David Schneider (The Day Today, Alan Partridge) has an injunction preventing the press from mentioning his keen interest in S&M sex, in which he visits spanking establishments to engage in the whipping and beating of women. A sex worker has provided a newspaper with intimate photos, emails and text messages relating to this. Schneider is alleging that the woman and her husband first attempted to blackmail him with the evidence. {thirdrailforum.com maybe this is the same guy? }

And why little mention of the repression, starvation and death camps of North Korea? Not trendy or exciting enough?

BB,
They just serve up PC rubbish and fake news which runs against the opinion of the majority of British people.

Stick a fork in it, I think this country’s done.

And that would simply point up the moral bankruptcy and irrationality of the Montague stance.

“Since filming the decision has without explanation been reversed and she has been awarded the maximum compensation”

“Are we getting the full story?”
Your question should be transformed into an assertion viz. ‘We are not getting the full and accurate story’. In the case of the BBC that must be your first assumption to work from. Then, assess their motivation based upon their known modus operandi.

Joining Ernie Rea to discuss Khadijah, ”

Mo? Call me Mohamed: Mo Farah to change brand for road racing career {guardian aug2017}

The BBC never fails to disappoint or misdirect:

Salman Rushdie: Iranian state media renew fatwa on Satanic Verses author with $600,000 bounty {independent feb2016}
“The announcement coincides with the anniversary of the fatwa issued in 1989”
Salman Rushdie: Iranian media raise more money for fatwa {independent feb2016}
“Forty media outlets add extra $600,000 to religious edict originally issued by Ayatollah Khomeini over The Satanic Verses”
… so let’s try and find Iran’s Fatwa against free speech and Salman Rushdie on the BBC £3.5bn News Service, paid for under threat of prison …
Using BBC £3.5bn News Service Search Engine for ‘Iran Salman Rushdie’ I could only find this that seemed relevant …
World: Middle East: Iran’s Revolutionary Guards say Salman Rushdie death sentence is irrevocable {bbc.co.uk 1999}
Using Google ‘site:bbc.oc.uk Salman Rushdie Iran’ I could not find the renewed Fatwa on Salman Rushdie.

The BBC have actually been caught peddling fake news in a court judgement last week. The story contains all the inevitable factors Brexit, racism, and murder by some chav.
All of these were proved to be lies.
https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/david-keighleys-bbc-watch-bbc-bias-turns-street-scuffle-anti-brexit-cause-celebre/

Look how they manage to get a dig in at President Trump (PBUT) and Fox News. What a beauty.

Let’s say you’re a prosecutor in Washington. You are investigating a husband and wife, naturalized Americans, who you believe have scammed a federal credit union out of nearly $300,000. You catch them in several false statements about their qualifications for a credit line and their intended use of the money. The strongest part of your case, though, involves the schemers’ transferring the loot to their native Pakistan. … Well, here’s a peculiar thing about the Justice Department’s indictment of Imran Awan and Hina Alvi, the alleged fraudster couple who doubled as IT wizzes for Debbie Wasserman Schultz and many other congressional Democrats: There’s not a word in it about flight to Pakistan.{nationalreview.com 21aug17}

Reading the various posts and links on this thread brought to mind Bizarro World, which some of you may remember from your Superman comic-reading days in the 1960s.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bizarro_World
In popular culture “Bizarro World” has come to mean a situation or setting which is weirdly inverted or opposite to expectations.
http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Htrae
The Bizarros try to live their backwards lives as opposite of Earth as possible: a Bizarro salesman sold Bizarro bonds that were “guaranteed to lose money for you”, and the mayor of Mutropolis asks Bizarro to investigate a crime because he is “stupider than the entire Bizarro police force put together”, which Bizarro interpreted (correctly) as the greatest praise a Bizarro can receive on Htrae.
The question is, how to escape?

I have never heard of any members of the PIRA or the Real IRA or the UDA in the UK being arrested for membership of a terror organisation – perhaps because they have Blairs letter of protection from prosecution !
Hopefully all those who have returned or in the process of returning from fighting with ISIL will be charged and banged up for up to 10 years
