Crashing Bores

Telegraph:

Man arrested after car mounts pavement outside London museum, hitting passers-by

Mirror:

‘Multiple’ people injured after car ‘ploughs into pedestrians outside London’s Natural History Museum’

Mail:

BREAKING NEWS: Taxi driver mounts pavement and ‘deliberately mows down pedestrians’ outside Natural History Museum before being pinned down and arrested in front of stunned tourists

BBC:

Natural History Museum crash: Car hits people in London

The event may well be an accident or a ‘crash’ as the BBC has decided to call it but to do so is to prejudge what happened and is not a neutral headline…just as the Mail’s isn’t.  The BBC’s headline gives the completely wrong impression that there is absoutely nothing to see here and that there is definitely no terrorist connection…and yet the BBC cannot possibly know that yet.  Note it doesn’t publish the photo of the man being held…clearly trying to damp down any speculation of what might be the cause…can’t have people thinking ‘Those Muslims at it again’ can we?  If the driver had been white you can imagine how it would be reported though…somewhat differently…‘The Eagle has landed…in SS-GB!!!!’

Alan- As soon as I see something like this has happened the last place I will look l for information
is the BBC. I expect on the Londonistan programme either Assad Ahmed or Riz Lateef will
be telling us that the incident is being investigated by the police complaints dept because
of undue force being in apprehending the careless driver.

Same picture as above shown on the BBC news only his face was ‘whited’out so not to show us what we already know.

Paddy power is running this 2/1 ‘mental issues’ chappy. ( false news ).

The pipe bomb incident in america earlier today seems very alarming if aimed at ex military – paricularly so soon after the Vegas mass murder.

So much of this stuff that al Beeb can find an excuse not to report them

Presumably the BBC will now be calling for more car control as they kill thousands each year.

Obviously it should be much harder to obtain a licence as cars are dangerous.

And questions should be asked as to why anybody needs an automatic.

Just another day in our capital city now that we are in the process of enrichment. Or for that matter most other European cities apart from Warsaw, Prague, Budapest , Bratislava . Yet the evil fools in the EU are demanding that what they have inflicted on us is now visited on those east European countries as well. Begggars belief.

According to the totally discredited BBC and Metropolitan Police the incident is now being treated as a road traffic accident! They treat us as idiots. There are photos of a dark skinned man being pinned to the ground by police after the incident. There are reports that the driver of the car swerved into the crowd. Do they really expect us to beli v that this isn’t another car ramming attack by a Muslim. The Met the BBC and the government are totally lacking in any credibility. We know we are in a war with Islam . Every time they try to pretend otherwise just exposes them to ridicule and convinces more and more people that they cannot rely or expect the government to keep them safe. The authorities are a laughing stock who lie to us through their teeth. Believe nothing that they say.

I heard an eye witness on LBC earlier say that this happened on a pedestrianised walkway which would tend to give lie to it being an accident. Unless we’re now dishing out driving licences to immigrants who can’t drive and can’t read road signs.

@Doublethinker Yep, after any road traffic accident it’s standard procedure to pin the driver to the floor, set up an exclusion zone and deploy armed police, I mean what else could it possibly be.

This is starting to sound awfully like the ‘gas main explosions’ that racked London coincidentally at a time Werner Von Braun’s V weapons were making their debut. No one believed the BBC or the government then, either.

There is definitely something strange afoot. Katie Hopkins has just announced on social media that she is deleting the past two hours tweets. This from Going Postal, by the way.

Either she has been lent on, or she has been shown proof that this was not another terrorist attack. Most curious…

Meanwhile, just around the corner, literally tens of thousands marched peaceably against terrorism today, including Veterans Against Terrorism and the Football Lads Alliance.

One elderly veteran at the march, interviewed by the organisers, told of how he lost one son in Bosnia,1997, and another lost both his legs whilst on active duty in Afghanistan, 2011. The man is seen here in the video from approx 1hr 26mins…

Absolutely nothing reported about this protest on our “much loved” BBC, not even under its London, regional page, or SkyNews et al.

The BBC & MSM really are the peoples’ enemy when reporting, or not in this case, on anything Islam.

The Mail is also failing to report on this march. It’s starting to feel like living in pre-WWII Germany.

I like many of the commentators on this site, have been driving for the best part of 40 years, and it is only in recent years that we see this type of incident. If it is genuinely a road traffic incident why is that?

Do these people (the authorrities and the BBC and MSM) take us for fools? Do they think that we were born yesterday?

This was a straight road with a slow speed limit. A driver doing 30 mph (and that speed is very difficult to achieve in central London) does not mount the pavement unless there is a problem with the car (eg., a burst tyre), having to swerve to avoid something running out in to the road, falling asleep at the wheel, heart attack or stroke.

Are any of these causes at play? There is no suggestion that they are, and cars mounting pavements is not a normal incident, so we can be fairly sure that the full facts and explanation is being concealed from us.

The BBC (as is their wont) is prematurely declaring this to be a road traffic incident, when this is yet to be ascertained, and when it is unlikely to be the true reason.

The BBC, in their early reports, whited out the driver’s face so we know that they have history in this matter. Me thinks, just another illustration of bias and fake news by the BBC.

The interesting thing about the path the driver took is he managed to navigate himself around all the concrete and metal bollards situated on the pavement. Funny that.

      Pounce,
The latest is that he being charged with dangerous driving, presumable because he did deliberately miss the bollards and drove into the public instead.

How awful is the Mirror. What dreadful style: ‘multiple’ people’! What on earth is wrong with the words ‘many’ or ‘several’? What is/are ‘multiple people’? The mind boggles. Sorry to sound pedantic & off the point but it really jars!

I haven’t heard much from witnesses or victims of this accident involving bomb disposal, cordoning off the a4 and the entire circus of a counter terrorist response. As well as the PM monitoring a traffic accident of course. There is a difference between the standard bias which we all so enjoy and the smell of downright Lieing. Sometimes it would be better to not have read 1984. I’m not one for conspiracy theory either.

I’ve been saying for years that these types of incidents should be treated as nothing more than deranged idiots doing silly but very dangerous and fatal acts of violence. I’m happy that we’re not going down the usual road of faux outrage and pathetic candle vigils. If we start to regard these sad events as a fact of life – as devastating as it is for the victims – those who wish to gain notoriety via easy routes such as these, might not bother.
