I wonder how John Humphries will handle this if the award is actually made (story could be a spoof and requires careful verification) and it comes up on the TODAY Programme when he is on duty?

In the old days, it would be something like this that would have him exploding all over the airwaves but now I’m thinking it will just merit a bit of brief puzzlement and they will move on.

Up2, While doing a search on the credibility of the Rotherham Social Worker story I came across the Community Care website which lists all the people who are up for the awards. Some of the categories are sponsored by Councils. I’d like to know in what form this sponsorship is provided because with local authorities claiming they don’t have money for this and that, I find it rather odd that they can provide any form of support even if its just a packet of biscuits. As for awards, I get up, go to work and every week my boss pays me for doing my job. Simple really.
P.S. The shortlisting for Rotherham is on the above mentioned site.

French casualties in France are worse than in Afghanistan. The French lost 70 people to Islamic terrorist attacks in Afghanistan. And 239 to Islamic terrorist attacks in France.

The French losses in Afghanistan were suffered in over a decade of deployment in one of the most dangerous Islamic areas in the world. The French losses in France were suffered in less than two years.

There’s something very wrong when Afghanistan is safer than Paris.

Operation Sentinelle has deployed twice as many French soldiers to France as to Afghanistan. And French casualties in the Islamic war at home have been far higher that they were in Afghanistan.”

Hi MarkyMark – this is part of the activist campaign started by Diane Abbott & Islamic groups, taken up and carried by the BBC, to pressurise the home office to allow foreign workers from Islamic countries to bring over their families. This would start new chains of immigration and Islamification, as extended families & linked families are brought over into Britain.

The Continuing Islamification of Britain: it is all about creating test cases to test and change the law in the Law Courts and if that fails select sob stories to mount a public opinion campaign, to pressurise careerist politicians to change policy and enact new legislation. In parallel with this is getting Islamists into the Media, into the Judiciary, into the Police force, into Local government and into Parliament.

I saw that last night. So in a nutshell:
Bloke moved to the Uk in 1960 , deciding on British citizenship in 1985. in the 32 years since owning a British passport, instead of moving his family here, he decided that they should move instead to Egypt. However, things haven’t worked as planned and now he wants to move them to the Uk. But he’s been retired for 22 years and doesn’t earn enough in which to cover the minimum income rule which came into force in 2010. So the question I have to ask is why did Mohammed do nothing for the first 50 years of his time in the Uk seeing as Yemen has faced far greater conflict before 2015 when the Saudis went in:
North Yemen Civil War 26 September 1962 – 1 December 1970 up to 200,000 dead
South Yemen Civil War 13–24 January 1986 up to 10,000 dead
Yemeni Civil War 4 May – 7 July 1994 up to 10,000 dead
        Yemeni Revolution- 27 January 2011 – 27 February 2012 2000 killed
Houthi insurgency in Yemen-18 June 2004 – 6 February 2015 hundreds of thousands killed

The current bun fight has seen around 12k people killed, which in the whole scheme of things is nothing compared to what went before.

Yet only now does Mohammed deem it too dangerous for his family to live in Yemen. Could it be, as he is on a pension, he can no longer afford to fly over?

I looked up on google for the recipients of the eu money as opposed to those like us who pay in.

Poland gets about £15 billion a year. Good for them.

If Poland were to leave the eu does that mean they would receive £50-£100 billion (for future commitments of course) and that the eu would have to pay them maybe £10 billion a year to be able to trade with them.

Sounds ridiculous but it is perfect logic.

If Catalonia leaves Spain do they have to pay Spain tens of billions and then, depending on if they are receivers or payers to the eu, have to settle up with the eu as well.

How much would it cost Scotland to leave the UK if they vote to leave in their next referendum.
    After centuries together…how many billions.

Or are we absolutely unique in that we are expected to give tens of billions to leave the eu and billions more to buy stuff from the eu.

With a bit of luck – with 452? Days left there will not be enough time to reach agreement and we can just go. There was talk of contingency planning for that come the time .

Unfortunately March 2018 with a 365 count down might concentrate minds a bit . Big risk for the EU because if we leave without agreement and life continues ( which i believe it will) other nations might see the light and leave . Unless the EU army invades of course .

Off issue – there seems to be echos of our civil war with the big Spanish state threatening to suspend the Little States Parliament by force.

Mark Easton does one of his standard pieces on Jeremy Vine today about the ‘homeless’ in the London boroughs.

Despite the ‘English’ names of all of his ‘victims’ none of them speaks like a native. Over to someone from the council to explain why they are breaking the law by housing people in temporary accommodation

Surprisingly she is an Asian. She is able to assure us that the problem has little to do with immigration but rather the reluctance of private landlords to rent out property to these ‘homeless’ people.

Presumably all these rental properties are standing empty, just like the council houses that Margaret Thatcher ‘sold off’? The obvious solution would be to move to where the living is cheap – Africa or Asia perhaps? It’s not right that we in the West should enjoy all of the benefits of mass immigration.

Oh dear 65% of young people won’t be able to cope if interest rates rise. Those interviewed said with sad faces that they would have to forgo holidays, and other ‘stuff’. I don’t know about kids being brought up in cotton wool these days, but certainly this current lot of ‘youngsters’ under 40 have lived in a cuddly bubble for the past decade or so. We thought interest rates were low when they hit single figures !! and we really had to bite the bullet on our much lower wages when it went up to 16%. Holidays were a luxury not a ‘right’, – and if this ‘lot’ learned to cook properly then they wouldn’t have to buy food with credit cards, which is reported what’s happening now. Every generation has it tough, – from my grandmother having lard on bread before going to school in the early 1900’s, so why should this lot believe they are exeptional ? Its life, deal with it.

“Can you learn English from EastEnders?”

A cutesy, positive story on the BBC News site about Farid Saleh, an Afghan who came here as a child refugee and claims to have learned to speak English partly by watching the soap with his foster family. Cue lots of stuff in the video about accents and EastEnders’ catchphrases. Also, it seems that young Farid learned a lot about our culture from the programme and how to integrate:

“When I met my foster family it was challenging, I didn’t know what they were saying,” he says. “There would be days I would come home from school and say, ‘I can’t do this.'”

So every night his foster mother would sit with him and they’d watch EastEnders together with the subtitles on.

They would note new words and Farid would try to use them in sentences.

Slowly and steadily he stopped being a teenager lost in a foreign world and grew into a young man with a future. ”

Along the way, Farid could also have learned from the soap that white British men are: Violently jealous stalkers; schoolteachers who attempt affairs with both schoolgirls and their mothers; and posh geezers who are ruthless property developers and number among them a rapist from the programme’s past (all are current plot strands in EastEnders).
Not all villains are white in EastEnders, of course – there’s black teenager Keegan, who for his first few months in the show was a dangerous schoolboy bully. When he finally moved into Albert Square we found out his family were – Surprise! – benefits-claiming white trash.
Did Farid learn to be a good New Briton that the likes of the BBC could be proud of?

“He is studying at university to become a social worker and also helping today’s child refugees who feel as lost as he once did.”

    Sounds like job done!

On R4’s ‘Today’ programme there was an item about how modern British children don’t know the names of common species of birds, trees, plants etc. No real explanation was given as to why. Of course, they didn’t mention that in modern Britain rather a lot of children come from a household where English is not the first language and British flora and fauna are not therefore likely to be a particularly well known subject. All the children they interviewed on the programme sounded, as far as I could tell, as if they were Londoners from black or asian backgrounds.

        Wrighty,
Agreed, in soaps it’s nearly always women strong/men weak and white people worse than BAMEs. The Sun’s TV critic Ally Ross does a good job of trashing EastEnders on a regular basis.
I don’t think Enders/Corrie/Emmerdale are even that popular – they’re on in the early evening when most people have finished work and just eaten – and relax in front of the telly – it’s wallpaper TV. They are poorly made and forgettable – even their fans don’t remember old plots or characters.
I know people who watch both the BBC’s near-identical medical soaps, Casualty and Holby City, and they often seem to have trouble telling them apart. Maybe that’s why the Beeb pays actor Derek Thompson so much, because he performs an important service – “Casualty is the one with Charlie in it.”
If all the soaps disappeared tomorrow, I don’t think anyone would miss them for long. Scouse soap Brookside got similar ratings to EastEnders at one time, does anyone sit around nostalgically wishing for its return?

Jon Sopel was telling one of those ‘some say’ stories that the BBC loves on Jeremy Vine today. There are some doctors in the US who by using special remote diagnostic methods have determined that President Trump is mentally ill. Sopel was asked what he thought but he declined to give an opinion as ‘he wasn’t a doctor’, (it didn’t stop him floating the slander though).

What was slightly amusing was that these ‘doctors’ knew that President Trump was mentally ill because his vocabulary had reduced over the years.

Shouldn’t that diagnosis worry the Beeboids? Listening to them nowadays all they say is “Trump, Brexit, Trump, Brexit”

I am currently reading about Greek History and the struggle of the Greeks for independence against Islam in the guise of the Ottoman Turks. In this history a certain Muhammad Ali of Egypt became involved in fighting against the Greeks for personal reward.

Which leads me to the following observations:
It is ironic that the Boxer Cassius Clay, who as a person seemed in many ways to be an inspirational figure, but in the name he chose Muhammad Ali – utterly deluded.

Cassius Clay was the name given to him by his parents – in honour of the white Christian Cassius Clay who strived tirelessly to end Black slavery and for equal rights.

Muhammad Ali was the name suggested and given to him by the Nation of Islam. Muhammad Ali was an Islamic warlord who slaughtered, enslaved and colonised.

So this inspirational figure and boxer changed his name from someone who was against slavery to someone who enslaved people. Yet the media never examine or try to correct these facts.

BBC – as I am sure you probably realise – Cassius Marcellus Clay committed one of the ultimate crimes in the eyes of the chattering classes and of course the MSM . Poor old Cassius was “hideously white”. As we all know this totally devalues any “humanitarian” or virtuous acts he committed. Its why Florence Nightingale has been jettisoned in favour of sarny vendor Mary Seacole. And it is probably also a factor as to why the sexual abuse 1400 white girls was ignored by the authorities as I am sure no self respecting right on social worker or bobby would want to be seen dissing a member of a virtuous effnik minority.

Basically these days black or brown is generally good and white is only ok if you abase and prostrate yourself at the “right on” PC alter and reject your culture heritage in order to get PC points.

For a while, the Scottish gardening programme that is shown in England on Sunday mornings, the Beechgrove Garden, was better (you just needed to adjust your dates mentally as the season is later in Scotland than for most in England) but that has been infected too and is endlessly visiting ‘community gardens’ instead of imparting useful advice.

There is, truly, no area of broadcasting which the BBC does not use to propagandise collectivism.

      • JimS says:

Many, many years ago Beechgrove Garden did a brilliant story that was supposed to be of interest to anyone who had moved into a new house, perhaps in one of Scotland’s new towns.

They visited an elderly man whose narrow back garden was a verdant canyon, a veritable ‘garden of Eden’. Somehow this had all been done in a few years from a basis of standard builder’s rubble. How had all this been achieved?

It turned out that our gardening hero had spent many years building up a garden at his previous house and when he moved his farmer friend turned up with tractor, front shovel and bogie, lifted the old garden and dumped it on the new one!. The pained look on the presenter’s face was fantastic TV.

I can only assume that BBC Scotland had put so much effort into filming that episode that they had to let it run, even after their host had dropped his bombshell.

Hi, this is a general query: do we have anyone here that has some Indian / South East Asian heritage coupled with a Hindu / Sikh/ Buddhist heritage?

I ask because I want to know what your thoughts are of the BBC coverage of India, Indian Hindus, Indian Sikhs and the like, compared to say Pakistan and Indian Muslims.

I say this having followed for about 6 months the BBC’s web output in this area. It seems to me the BBC is running a hate campaign against India, Indian Hindus, Indian Sikhs etc. It is almost as if that section of the BBC output is being written or controlled by people with interests favouring Islam and Pakistan. The type of stories selected, and the headlines used to label India, Hindus, Sikhs are in general never found when referring to Pakistan or Muslims.

Here is the latest BBC headline in the Asia / India News Section: Kashmir ‘mass rape’ survivors fight for justice
More than 26 years ago, Indian soldiers allegedly raped more than 30 women in the Kashmiri villages of Kunan and Poshpora. Those who survived the attack are still fighting for justice, as Aliya Nazki from BBC Urdu reports.
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-41268906

Yet from what I have seen, the BBC over the past 6 months have never used the headline MASS RAPE to describe Muslim rape gangs nor rape gangs of Pakistani heritage from Britain. Instead they refer to sexual offences committed by men. The same is true when the BBC covers stories about Pakistan and Muslims in general. The difference in approach is extremely stark.

Recipe for disaster. When I was in the Job, the already functioning graduate entry scheme was churning out Bramshill flyers, whose sole ability was to eat peas from a knife, get in the way at crime scenes, slapping their thighs with their brown gloves, and generally fucking things up, whilst looking for the next promotional step (which they invariably got, because they were incompetent, and hated in the one they already occupied).

Then there was the drive in the late seventies, for more WPCs, which in its turn, enabled the force to increase its quota of inefficient, incompetent female staff. Then it all went up shit creek with medical and eyesight requirements becoming less stringent, the height rule being conveniently forgotten about, the minimum educational necessity for candidates being quietly shelved, homosexuality being less frowned upon, “foreigners” being encouraged to join and, of course, entrants with criminal records being accepted.

All in all, standards plummeted – and that was some years ago. Now, it seems, the average recruit should be LGBTXYZ, wear rainbow accoutrements, and be permitted (nay, encouraged) to dance and prance around at events, whilst, in their desire for fair play and “diversity” giving one section of society an easier ride, if not openly supporting them. In the meantime, attendance at REAL crime dropped, whilst they pretended they had no money to do the job required of them, simultaneously quietly purchasing gaily coloured “rainbow” vehicles in which to patrol ponce around the streets and support the gay “community”.

      Then there’s the “hate” crime…

I got out years ago, and followed that up with exiting the country. Smart move, I believe.

Her speech includes: “… I’ve seen from a very young age how our society is built on white male privilege …

I would like to know just how “very young” she was when she was able to “see our society”.

The truth is she never saw anything – she is just repeating bullshit Marxist feminist racist dogma. The BBC know what they are doing in creating this type of stuff at the British taxpayers expense. And they continue to get away with it. There is no evidence presented. No analysis. No questioning of statements. It is pure rhetoric. Pure propaganda.

She herself doesn’t look like she is suffering. She looks very comfortable, with her dreadlocked hair, multiply studded ears, carefully groomed eyebrows, polo necked woolly jumper … She doesn’t look one bit oppressed. And she isn’t.

Yep. Intersectionalism is all the rage. An academic in eg. law, submits a paper to a prestigious journal, and the referee responds by saying you need to include something on intersectionalism. So you are under pressure to publish, and scrape around to add some drivel on intersectionalism that contributes nothing to your research. That is how it creeps in. This has recently happened to a colleague of mine.

The intersectionalist loonies are busy infiltrating everywhere. Early this year Vegans held a conference in Brighton. You might expect lots of discussions on the benefits of veganism, arguments against meat eating etc. But vegans ought to be intersectional too and fight against white male supremacy.

Grandchildren, great grandchildren ? If and I use the term loosely she actually can find a wimp to breed with her then he certainly will do the usual runner very soon after and on to the next easy lay, and on and on.

These females forget that they have a body clock which males don’t have, who the hell would want to hitch up with a partner with that attitude and live happy ever after ?

My wife informed me she watched the BBC 100 women item in which they (some women in silicon valley) had a week to make an App that would improve the life of women…it was an App to give them an objective when they go into a meeting!!! Funny I always have my objectives for when I go into a meeting…

My wife’s response ‘ what a load of Sh..te and and a large metaphorical book hit the TV .
Doesn’t the BBC recognise that women who are good at their job are good at their job and don’t need patronising…and most of the women I know are like my wife….good at their job, don’t take crap and don’t need feminists to argue for them – in fact they can’t stand them…my morning rant over….

There was once an inventing competition with a special award for women. Why a special award for women? I hear you ask.
Anyways, the ladies team that won the special award had come up with an electric teaspoon. Now this is more than ten years ago and oddly this major development in science is still yet to hit the high street.

I have a cost cutting suggestion for the BBC

Watching Samira Ahmed just now on Newswatch putting Licence Payers’ complaints about BBC News coverage to her colleague Jon Zilkha Controller of the News Channel it struck me that savings could be made were the show to be replaced with a simple caption popping up on our screens announcing “We think we got it about right”

Afterall, News watch is quite expensive. Our Jon is on something north of £150k plus expenses http://www.pressgazette.co.uk/bbc-increases-rather-than-decreases-staff-paid-150k-and-cuts-less-than-half-predicted-2000-jobs/ and our Samira has put in for a pay rise http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/07/23/womans-hour-presenters-paid-40pc-less-bbc-shows/

‘BBC journalism managers with a full-time equivalent salary of more than £150,000 include the following (source BBC): (list of names) …. Jon Zilkha, Controller, News Channels.’

‘…Samira Ahmed….(etc etc)… all added their names to the letter calling for equal pay throughout the organisation before the promised date of 2020’

Having watched several editions of Newswatch I know the BBC never gives an inch – the consistent message from the BBC is to simply tell viewers they have to put up with what the BBC has to offer.

Newswatch is an exercise in what the Americans call Kabuki Theatre (Kabuki is an activity or drama carried out in real life in a predictable or stylized fashion, reminiscent of the Kabuki style of Japanese stage play).

Fair enough, but let us off the TV Licence poll tax and move to subscription and all complaints would be instantly dealt with. Hows that, BBC?

Then by all means employ as many Jon Zilkhas as you like and give Samira her pay rise.

A fine? A ban? Ridicule? Nope … prison. Remove a propaganda poster then hard labour and the only release is death ala North Korea.

Words on a napkin ….
