Sorry Fed Up – To be honest there is so much depressing stuff happening at the moment that I think that a little levity occasionally is generally pretty harmless. .

Whilst I respect your viewpoint on this and agree that occasionally some things may get a little out of hand – I do think that on the whole we have the balance about right here. As to whether whether it detracts from this site, personally my view is that this site reflects the viewpoints and the by implication the personalities of those using it. And I would not consider posting on it if it was some dry, academic think tank.

At the end of the day humour (childish or not) can be a powerful weapon and help to bind people together against those who wish to oppress us and take away our freedoms. Therefore I see the occasional bit of silliness as quite harmless.

By the way I dont have a beard as Mrs Oak makes me shave it off. I dont say the word “cool”, dye my hair or wear skinny jeans. Whether this is enough to make me grown up you would have to ask her.

          Oak ,
Ha ha – I didn’t realise you were a chap so didn’t think you had a beard.

Judging by the news – I have been out of Blighty for 3 weeks- there seems to be a line of apology going on in relation to groping and similar activities . So would like to apologise about quite a few actresses I have thought I’d like to grope if they were agreeable .

If this amounts to a hate crime I will hate myself accordingly .

Perhaps there should be a prize for the last comment in a strand and not the first – in accordance with scripture .

Dont worry Fed Up – I am also responsible for potential “thought” groping crimes too in the past and therefore have decided to turn myself in to Big Sister Amber for crimes against – well she hasnt decided quite what yet, but we better shut up anyway just in case!

Hey Amber – I got a good idea maybe we should have a dedicated police unit to deal with “thought crime” then you can arrest anyone you want

An increasing characteristic of Alt-Left appears to be a grey humourless imposition of political correctness and uniformity. Keep that outa here or I’m outa here.

Can someone explain why there is the hysteria in the MSM over Harvey Weinstein?

The casting couch has been around forever, it exists in other forms in all the other businesses including journalism.

Suddenly some washed up actresses who can no longer get work decide to come forward, twenty years after the event, probably hoping for compensation, to make accusations of lewd behaviour – well blow me down.

There was a queue stretching around the block of left-wing luvvies ready to slag off Donald Trump for a bit of bar room banter but when it comes to a fellow Democrat like Weinstein they’re strangely silent. Meryl Streep, I’m talking about you.

Third – because they are all a collection of “blowhard hypocrites” who at the end of the day value money and career advancement ahead of their professed moral values. Now these tossers have all yet again been exposed for what we all know they are – they probably think that by making lots of noise now it makes up for their silence in the past and enables them to maintain their moral high ground. Some things just dont change!

Don’t forget our own ‘national treasure’, Dame Judi Dench, who thinks we should trust her opinion on Brexit, “There’s something about being inclusive that is more important than being exclusive”, yet shows her cupidity by marking her own backside with a love token to Harvey.

Most memorably, she etched a message on her “bum” that said, “JD loves HW,” with a heart with an arrow through it, in gratitude to Harvey Weinstein for making her a movie star in “Mrs. Brown,” “Chocolat,” “Iris,” “Shakespeare in Love” and other films, after she had been starring in a sitcom with her husband in England. – New York Times

You are right. The sad old bitch literally has a Harvey Weinstein tattoo on her arse. She is that deluded, yet like all the other luvvies, she thinks that we should listen to her views on Brexit, climate change and the price of fish.

You do not have to be clever to be an actor. You have to be able to remember your lines and follow directions. Having these skills does not make your opinions worth more than anyone else. The fact that Dame Judi did not know the man she memorialised in ink on her arse was a serial sex pest and possible rapist should shut these gobshites up once and for all.

        Obviously, we know it won’t.

Judi Dench played Queen Victoria in Victoria and Abdul in a BBC made film. Sadly, yet another propaganda outlet for the BBC, this time showing how wise and tolerant was the Moslem servant (and his quotes from the Koran) and the loyalty of his friend in contrast to the behaviour and intolerance of the aristocracy of the British Empire.

At he end of the film it said Abdul’s account of his time with Queen Victoria was only found in 2010 and his story is finally told in this film- to try and make out it is anything else but fiction is totally dishonest and the way the BBC is able to reinforce its propaganda.

Anybody taking part in this kind of deception should be ashamed of themselves. .

Oh the humanity-what is a fake faux lefty to do?
Maybe I`ll just offer a Harvey Weinstein Season with a Gary Glitter soundtrack.
Has Hillary spaken on Harvey?…are CNN trawling Bills laundry basket for clues that the old roue IS the scamp, high spirited lover and appreciator of women that we now know him to be?
          Imagine that-a heterosexual in Hollywood?
Now THAT`S a minority that needs protecting.

Can only weep for the likes of Sonia, Chantelle, Chloe Aycliffe and assorted gals from Liberty X, Steps and S Club 7…all of who would probably had become stars, had they got Harvey tattoed on their arses to show him which side up to approach the landing strip by?
We lost a generation of real talented actresses(or are they still actors now?)..because casting couch po faces and sourpusses chose to spread the love, as opposed to learning to act.
Surely Donald J Trump has a Tweet here for us all!!!

Maybe because of the Hollywood hypocrisy it exposes. Some of the same people who condemned the pussy grabbing comments of Trump were quiet about the pussy grabbing of Weinstein. It’s about self interest and politics, not the exploitation of women.
Just like when the BBC pretends to be interested in the welfare of coloured migrants to Europe, while showing zero interest in the problems of the much larger numbers of people staying in the places those migrants come from. For example, the BBC couldn’t care less about the slavery of brick makers in India and Pakistan.

The response to Harvey Weinstein is interesting.
First there was silence, but as the story grew several, like Meryl Streep and Hillary Clinton condemned him and moved on.

However, the familiar pattern has emerged from the left and feminazis. You can see it in response to the Muslim rape gangs.
First – try to refute. When evidence becomes overwhelming take the next position.
Dilute. This is what is happening.
Harvey Weinstein is a man, and all men. are potentially sexual molesters.
So take the moral high ground and denounce all men.

This time it might not work because in its attack on Trump and on millions of hardworking Americans who voted for him Hollywood are seen to deserve what is coming from them.

I think it’s because the left make such a song and dance about anything to do with Trump and seeing sexism everywhere, they’d painted themselves into a corner when a major donor was implicated in this sort of thing.

Most of us here were, I think, aware of this story for several days before the MSM decided to run with it. That indicates to me they’d tried to sit on it but could no longer do so as they were called out by those who have been on the receiving end of their accusations. Particularly as Hollywood has been at its nauseating worst regarding Trump.

Spot on, Seismicboy. In my view everybody who succeeds in Hollywood has made some kind of pact with the Devil. I strongly recommend a piece by Laura Perrin in Conservative Women and the readers comments on this so called Race Audit. There is no doubt that the PM is virtue signalling in extremis and that this report will do great harm to the country. Look how the police have reacted to the McPherson report after it labelled them institutionally racist, they became anti white! Well this report labels the whole country as institutionally racist and once again places the blame for everything bad that happens to POCs on poor old whitey. This despite the fact that poor white kids are doing so badly in what passes for an educational system in 21st century Britain. I have no doubt that this report will be used to justify all manner of further attacks on the indigenous population by this Conservative government , it will be much worse under Corbyn’s Labour/ Communist regime.
I note that Ms Waters launched a new party earlier this week. I salute her courage and wish her well.
I became a Conservative voter in 1979 after the Winter of Discontent and supported Lady T 100% through her time as PM. Since then, although often severely disappointed by subsequent Conservative and Coalition governments , I have always voted Tory on the basis that the only alternative government would be Labour and that was certain to be much worse. I resisted the temptation to vote UKIP , apart from EU elections, because in my view that would only have let Labour in. But now I can see no difference between the policies and positions of Blair and May, apart from what I suspect is the charade of Brexit. If Corbyn and his communist gang weren’t in charge of Labour, I would probably not vote Tory and seriously consider any centre right party alternative that had programme of resisting Islamification. May is lucky that Corbyn is Labour leader but that luck will run out if she keeps on like this.

If you don’t like it switch off – it is what I do with the BBC. Should I prevent everyone from watching BBC news just because it disgusts me? In fact it probably does a lot more harm to people than the banter and justified ridicule online which they characterise as ‘hateful.’

Roger Hirst gave £5,800 to Sgt Gina Denham, who set up the Transpire support network for the transgender community, towards tackling hate crime.

The 15 people have now become hate crime ambassadors after receiving training at Southend Police Station.

Ms Denham said: “It went really well.

“This is a good start but we want to have a lot more hate crime ambassadors – in Harlow there are over 200.

Ms Denham, who was born male and now lives as a woman, hopes that Essex Police will be able to understand the problem of hate crime and respond accordingly if more incidents are reported.

They will never understand the problem of hate crime, because the problem of hate crime is that it doesn’t exist, except in the mind of the person who thinks they are a victim. It is either a crime or it isn’t. It doesn’t, or rather shouldn’t become a crime just because the alleged victim thinks it is.

                    French public sector workers protest against Macron budget cuts {theguardian. 10oct2017}
“Macron’s approval ratings have recovered slightly after a dramatic slide this summer to about 30% after he was elected in May against the far-right Marine Le Pen. He is determined to style himself as a reformer who won’t bow to street protests.

“What is positive for Emmanuel Macron is that he is seen as facing down the street and implementing his programme,” Dabi said.

                    – So how does the BBC twist this story
                    – Reformer or dictator?
… Trump the facist for implementing tough laws on immigration and tax
… Macron saviour for implementing tough laws removing workers rights and privileges

                    Macron’s public sector reforms spark nationwide strikes {bbc.co.uk 10oct2017}
“Millions of public sector workers in France are taking part in a nationwide one-day strike in protest at President Emmanuel Macron’s economic reforms.”
“The demonstration was organised by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the far left leader who has emerged as the president’s principal political opponent.”

                    – ‘far left’ is starting to enter the BBC’s vocabulary … interesting.

Brexit negativity on Beeb Website business section. Headline stating that farm incomes ‘may halve’ after Brexit. The report summarised by the Beeb was produced by the Agriculture & Horticultural Development Board, a levy board funded by farmers and others in the food supply chain. The report considers various scenarios after Brexit including a positive, that being farm incomes could increase if a business as usual result transpires. Not a problem with the report itself but the Beeb narrative is followed by means of the Headline. Negativity at all costs is the clear message no matter what the true substance of these reports or findings.

Males have one Y chromosome and one X chromosome, whist females have two X chromosomes. Anybody who is a Chimera gets to have an X on their passport and the money for their test back.

By Justin Champion, called “The Revolution In Ideas”.
Very much a Von Hagens autopsy of the lefts mindset, and its continued advocacy and promotion of todays cultural wars.
No better primer for how we`ve gone from 1789 to today via one hell of a pitstop in Russia, 1917.
They missed out Iran in 1979, but this programme ticks all the cultural segmentations than a Beeboid would desire.
You`ll maybe see Gramsci and Frankfurt School roots in another way….and where Frankfurt 2020 as laid out by Juncker and Soros will be taking us.

Corbyn on Emma Barnett got pasted, Abbott on LBC was rumbled as a diabetic(code for lying in stats) and that Green eejit Bennett said that Colognes sex orgy on New Years Eve 2016 was “fake news” yesterday.

Last night we watched an old edition of “New Tricks” and one of “Open All Hours” but repeats from many years ago on other (commercial) channels. There was almost no propaganda in either of them, except for a very mild complaint about VAT.

Weinstein is good fun, will wait for Steyn, Coulter Tucker and Lionel will be telling me.
As for the prospects of Tory politicians? Who gives a stuff-if they wanted to stay in the EU, then piss off!
No other news is needed…at least Hunt cited Osbornes lies why he`d now leave the E.U despite being a Remaining toad last year.
Saw the New European headline today-aren`t there laws re libel, or have we got our own Brownshirt Bugle, funded and printed by Soros and the Guardian-nobody`s buying it, yet it`s on our shelves every week?
Der Starmer indeed-their contempt for the British people is evident today as usual, somebody needs to take them to court for inciting hatred, libel and defamatory accusations.
Where`s our Gina Miller?…well funded poppet who can cry to order at the Supreme Court?

Wonderful, a breath of fresh, crispy! air. I find it very amusing watching the lefty liberal luvvies ‘speak out’ or not speak out (Russell Crowe). Am hoping some actually knew and won’t say anything. It’s interesting to me how much US politics mirrors the uk…
Jimmy Savile etc & Weinstein – known about by many, tolerated as a result of power, greed etc
Lack of detail/communication from police & authorities on terrorism etc – Las Vegas shooting, Parson’s Green bomb, Somali police officer shooting Australian citizen. These were all outrages at the time, and have been allowed to disappear into the ether by the MSM. I have googled the latter from time to time to find out if any progress has been made – don’t even think the police officer has been charged – there was an indication that he might not face that. I am concerned that the amount of time that has passed without any information being released about the Las Vegas incident indicates that there is information that we will never be told, and that a story is being formulated to keep the public quiet. Or maybe just no story…till we have forgotten. I don’t think it’s good enough and I’m hoping that some in the US like Tucker, will keep nipping at their heels.
Same in the UK – where is the public outcry about the Parson’s Green bombers – ‘refugees’? Or have they all received a slapped wrist and been released?
Lastly the amount of illegal immigrants ‘tolerated’ in the US and UK.

Times builds an article and editorial on this Guido article.
About Labour MPs appearing on RT as a free platform.
And Tories occasionally appearing for £1000-1500
And both legitimizing RT which the Times describes as “undermines trust in Western institutions and promotes a world-view based on conspiracy theories”
Doesn’t that describe BBC/Guardian and all LibMob media ?

    Nigeria schools: Kaduna primary teachers fail pupils’ exam {bbc.co.uk 10oct2017}
“Thousands of primary school teachers in Nigeria’s northern Kaduna state are to be sacked after failing the exams they set for their six-year-old pupils. State governor Nasir El-Rufai said 21,780 teachers, two-thirds of the total, had failed to score 75% or higher on assessments given to pupils (aged six).

“He said 25,000 new teachers would be recruited to replace them.”

    – Whilst the UK worries about Monroe Bergdorf (Man pretending to be a Women who was sacked for being racist and sexist towards men, her/him self?) and which toilet moniker to add to the toilet door.
    – Some countries have real problems …. where are they going to find, suddenly, 25K teachers?

Did you have to pay to park your car like cancer patients and dementia carers do. When my dad was in the itu – dying – I had to keep going out to feed the fucking nhs parking meter. Privatise the bugger

As far as I as concerned ‘ hospital workers ‘ just want anyone over 70 to die . Enjoy your gym though. For the record I am well under 70 otherwise it’s liverpool pathway time eh?

MediaShow : Journo said Saville was known about since 1967 but he retained powerful libel lawyer George Carman QC.

More likely that, like all lawyers, he will represent anyone if they can pay enough.

      • sanitycheck2 says:

Actually, a barrister cannot pick and chose who he represents. He is obliged to take instructions, unless conflicted.

But the fact that Saville felt compelled to instruct someone like Carman, does suggest that there was a substantial fire behind the smoke. It should have encouraged those in the ‘know’ and journos to keep digging. There was almost certainly something to be found, if only they tried properly to look.

Of course, the BBC could simply not have hired Saville simply on the basis of suspicion. This would not be a case of unfair dismissal, or wrongful dismissal. Just simply not renew his contract, because of the rumours which management must have known about.

The BBC has no excuse, and it should be held to account. Not in fines, since those would be paid by the tax payer, but in reduced salaries/pension entitlements, in loss of reputation, and most importantly of all, defunding the organization. Let it stand on its own two feet. It might then learn something about the real world which all of us have to live in.

I agree with your comment as to why the fat kid had to be white.
I do also think that the liberals in particular have encouraged people to become “FAT” because often a direct result of becoming a FATTY is that people lose self respect.
To me it is just another way where liberals have undermined society and normal standards. To the point I believe where it was recommended that Doctors were not to call FAT people FAT anymore and being a FATTY should be treated as a disease not a due to a lack of will power. They have created a society where personal responsibility is not encouraged any more and everyone is a victim – I am afraid we are heading down the road to chaos.

Us white, heterosexual members of the one man/one woman fraternity will be so rare in 50 years time that we’ll be meeting in secret hiding places so as not to be discovered !!!!

BBC website: “Stokes apologises to Price over video.”

    Celebrity gossip is not news.

Is actual journalism illegal now as it might uncover something ‘hurtful’ or ‘offensive’? They employ 3000 journalists and one of their lead stories is someone famous has apologised for a joke about another celebrity?

And so many PR plugs masquerading as news. A restaurant has been voted best in the world! That is not news – it is an advert.

Honestly – drain the swamp. You get much better news elsewhere for free online, and celebrity gossip if you are that way inclined.

Think of the difference £145 a year would make for poor families, those downtrodden whom the Beeb professes to care so much about.
