The BBC described how the raging, embittered and resentful Remainer Lord [unelected] Adonis explained his ‘reasons in an excoriating letter’ for his resignation.  Trouble is, though the BBC presented his comments as rational and hard-hitting, they were far from that, being nothing less than a furiously frothy-mouthed, eye-swivelling, green-inked screed venting Adonis’s massive arrogance and frustration that he can’t have his way…a bit of a temper tantrum with teddy going in the corner.

How many more Remainers will make the leap from their ivory towers sacrificing themselves for the cause and the headlines?  Headlines the BBC is sure to give them along with a promise of constant referral to the ‘reasons’ they give for their resignation in any futher news reports that paint Brexit and the Government’s approach to, well, everything as a problem ala Alan Milburn.

Spot any more BBC bias….list it all here…..

I put BBC News 24 on this morning,
On screen was a young man -Murphy James from “Windsor Homeless Project”. Speaking from outside Windsor Castle.
Promptly turned over to RT where they are reporting that in Germany the surge in crime is due to immigration. Germany is introducing internet “hate crime” laws and Macron is trying to stop foreign media meddling in France.

Which one of these news channels is actually reporting news class?

EU leaders seem desperate to get control of all forms of media. They must be feeling threatened.

    https://order-order.com/2018/01/03/bbc-fail-to-mention-staff-nurse-is-top-corbynista/#disqus_thread
The BBC allowed a staff nurse to repeatedly attack the government over the so-called “NHS crisis” this morning, without mentioning that she is a top Corbynista, star of a Labour Party Political Broadcast and hardline left-wing activist. 5Live introduced Danielle Tiplady by saying “Let’s bring in Danielle who is a staff nurse”, before she went on to reel off Labour attack lines on the NHS. What the BBC didn’t tell listeners is that until recently Tiplday’s Twitter account used the name “Danielle vote Labour”, she has addressed dozens of protest rallies where her favourite chant is “Tories out!”, writes for “revolutionary socialist website” Counterfire and the communist Morning Star, and is a leader of the “sack Jeremy Hunt” Bursary or Bust campaign.

Just like the A&E doctor from Scarborough Hospital whose vox pop they keep showing. It’s even been repeated at length on Look North tonight. The doctor, Adrian A. Harrop, didn’t look like an “ordinary medic”. He spouted the usual trigger words which seemed pre-prepared as they slipped so easily out of his mouth. I’ve checked Google and this bloke has many entries. He has his own business “advising” on general medical practice. His Twitter profile says he has an interest in ” politics and current affairs”. He’s also a supporter of Bernie Sanders. The comments on his Twitter feed from other NHS medical staff reads like a Momentum chat room. This bloke is obviously a Labour stooge using the apparent prestige of his profession to push Corbynista talking points. BBC lying by omission and using deception to form public opinion.

This is on Channel 4 and on tonight, so perhaps a post about it is both premature and not relevant, but Derry Girls a new sitcom on Channel 4 is about teenage girls during the Troubles. As I regard Channel 4 as the Provisional Wing of the BBC, I wonder whether it will portray the IRA as lovable scamps, opposed to that brutal killing machine, the British Army. With an enlightened MP from Islington defending the terrorists and condemning the British government. Or perhaps it will be a genuinely amusing comedy and I am spouting nonsense (always possible).

Excellent article by Murray in the Speccie on Iran. Among other things it points out that Saint Hussain’s great achievement in giving the ghastly regime billions by lifting sanctions is being squandered on stirring up trouble throughout the region. Well done O’Barmy. I don’t recall the beebistan ever mentioning that embarrassing fact.

(Rhetorical questions: why do Islamic countries seem to produce some of the vilest regimes the world has ever seen? Could a clue to the answer be in the question?)

“Protesters complained about the government’s use of its recent economic bonus (from the lifting of sanctions) not to help the Iranian people, but to pursue wider regional ambitions. Iranian forces are currently fighting in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon. This from a power whose defenders still claim is not expansionist.”

Anyone seen a debunk of this OPINION piece, that claims
BBC is not biased but its idea of the ‘centre’ is now tilting to the right when the UK is tilting to the left” ??
I’ve got a libmobber on Twitter who thinks it’s enough just for him to post that link and stand with his hands on his hips instead of explaining what evidence is in the piece.
I can see flaws straight away
The author is cherrypicking all over
eg His first example of right based panel
    contains : a rightwing journo +Lab MP +Tory MP ( Yeh Anna Soubry,so leftwing she’s really Lab)
eg2 Marr panel : Ayesha Hazarika ( Ed Miliband’s adviser), Jane Moore (The Sun) +Ian Duncan-Smith
eg3 Neil Show : Steve Richards (Guardian), Tom Newton-Dunn (Sun) +right-wing journalist Isobel Oakeshott
OK he’s using the shortcut of saying Sun writers are not left wing
… that’s a big assumption tho more than likely

He monitored only 6 weeks from June 2017
    Concluded : 39 panellists : 27 right, 10 centre-left, 1 from left, 1 independent Victoria D
BUT BUT BUT I think he’s doing a sneaky cherry pick
Info missing context is akin to #FakeNews
This article is flawed, cos misses the context of which interview guests were on
You can’t just look at the press panel and ignore the politician interview guests on the SAME prog
If a prog has 30 mins of Corbyn interview + 10 mins of another lefty MP
then I imagine the press panel will not be 2 lefties & a righty

Well when I pointed Mr Twitter to proper statistical analyses from News Watch he blocked me
    That’s normal libmob debate MO
When you press them, they RUN AWAY by blocking you

John McDonnell, Angela Rayner, Jonathan Ashworth, Stella Creasy, Debbie Abrahams, Keir Starmer

        for the press review
He claimed only 1 guest was from the Left
His trick was to claim these people are NOT Left,
but rather ” ten from the centre-left”
Polly Toynbee, Faiza Shaheen, Ellie Mae O’Hagan, Naomi Klein, Stephen Bush, Ayesha Hazarika, Gisela Stuart

      Pounce,
My TV licence expired last year and I have no intention of renewing it. However, mere months after permanently halting live broadcast reception at home, I was fortunate/unfortunate enough to see some tv at a friends house. I was shocked (‘I tell you shocked!’) at the incredible increase in the focus on a disproportionate representation of Black and Asian actors/participants in programmes or, particularly advertisements. So glad I don’t have to watch the deceit anymore. Let’s remind ourselves of:
      Population by ethnicity
      Ethnic group Population (2011)
      Percentage of total population
Asian or Asian British: Total 4,373,339 6.9%
Black or Black British: Total 1,904,684 3.0%
Mixed or Multiple: Total 1,250,229 2.0%
Other Ethnic Group: Total 580,374 0.9%
So, unless our Government has lied to us (more than usual) since 2011 such that the BAME population has increased to 75% of the total population as depicted in ads and programmes, peoples perception is being intentionally distorted by a gross misrepresentation.

Another BBC microagression that has yanked my chain, akin to the Asian father playing with his daughter over Christmas.

The FA Cup advert is voiced by a rapper. All races are equal, but all cultures are not. The BBC has been sneakily conflating the two for decades. Thus we are told that we must love Shakespeare and rap equally or we are Nazis; the majestic ‘once more unto the breach’ speech must be considered on a par with if not inferior to some illiterate blurting: “Go Inglun! Gotta win some!”

Drip, drip, drip. Slowly everything we hold dear about our culture is eroded in the tragic war of attrition that is cultural Marxism.

    • Rich says:

      Beat me to it Beeb,

I’ve noticed this much more this year with the increased coverage of the FA cup by the bBbc. It seems as the quality of sport that they cover worsens and interest wanes, its cultural significance changes and modernises to become more “street”, not being a culture or sport shared but instead handed over, and they then feel the need to attempt to appeal to their new target audience by communicating with them in the way that they think they speak. Or tweet. Or post. As out of touch as ever though they simply appear like caricatures and sound like stereotypes, making a complete and utter balls up of it as usual as they dumb down and patronise. And also end up alienating everyone else.

The people who speak like this, if anybody really, really, honestly does, don’t watch the bBbc anyway, this was talked about earlier in this thread, as they have become irrelevant to the young. Unless of course the bluds travelling from the urban jungle that is Doncaster to the mean streets of the Rochdale ghettoes this weekend can identify with it, and they’ll be at the game anyway.

The BBC’s view of the UK’s demographics seems entirely based on what they see while driving their Priuses around west London. Rural England to them is the bit of Buckinghamshire on the end of the Metropolitan line where they once went for a day out but came back early because it was too ‘white’ and they felt uncomfortable. The only other bit of the country they see are the fields around Stansted Airport when they take off on a Euro city break.

I have an idea for Mr O’Flynn.

His party leader is a charisma free ex-Lib Dem, ex-cop, ex-soldier, who has now left his wife for a 29 year old glamour model.

He sent out an email this morning, sniffily saying that he had had a change of his relationship status (is he some sort of robot?), and would not comment on the matter.

Ukip is self-destructing. The entire party nomenklatura, including the MEPs, backed Henry Bolton (the charisma free zone), and said they would resign en masse if the membership dared to elect Anne Marie Waters, despite which, she still came second.

Mr Flynn and his like have now got the result they wanted. Ukip could have become the rallying point for patriotic Britons who do not want their country to become an islamic state by 2100. Instead, they are led by a man with the charisma of, what is the phrase, a “damp dish cloth” and rapidly heading to oblivion.

Nice work Patrick. Please join Labour after you have finished off Ukip, and do an equally good job.

      • Al Shubtill says:

RiC – UKIP are not the solution to the immigration problem Britain has. They have never talked about stopping immigration. The trouble is that any party which did and began to make political headway – would be crushed; as UKIP would if it became more nationalistic.
The elite in Britain will not accept attempts at political change to immigration or the demographic alteration the country is undergoing. The unfortunate conclusion is that things are going to have to get far, far worse before they can even begin to get better.

          Al:

The trouble is, Ukip has been crushed. It is irrelevant. The leader is a bore with no media presence at all. Even running off with a glamour model barely got a mention.

I agree that if Ukip members had voted for Anne Marie Waters, it would have been a rough ride, the apparatus of the Deep State would have been deployed against them, and the party might have been run out of town. But so what? At least it would have tried, and it might have been successful. As it stands, there is just no point to Ukip any more. I say that with great sadness. A major criticism of Nigel Farage was that he was an instinctive leader, and did not set in place any sort of succession planning. The results can now be seen, and it is a great shame. Ukip has been taken over by nonentities who are leading it into oblivion.

          • Al Shubtill says:

RiC – Anne Marie Waters would not have been the answer, her background is questionable to say the least. The woman is just against immigration into Britain from Islamic countries and opposed to Islam generally, not against other immigrants from the Third World or anywhere else.

It’s irrelevant though really, whoever we vote for now it’s just rearranging the Titanic’s deckchairs. Britons will become a minority in their own country regardless of immigration, due to the higher birthrate amongst Third Worlders who are already here.
It’s just a case of insulating yourself and your families from the consequences (if you are able) as much as possible or relocating abroad. I can’t see any other option – our government would rather we all went quietly into that goodnight than they be accused of being “rayciss”.

That is like saying that just because AMW is 80% right, not 100% right, she is not worth voting for.

I agree that our ruling class (it is not just the 650 duds who are elected to Parliament) are a bunch of appeasing bastards, who would rather Great Britain ceased to exist rather than be called racists. But that does not mean that a fight back could not have been started. Every journey has to start somewhere after all.

Sadly, the members of Ukip voted for a mediocre, dull man who may well be part of the secret state. The party is thus doomed to oblivion. Ask yourself a question: if Henry Bolton had been leading Ukip for the last ten years, would we have had a Brexit referendum?

Theresa May should stand outside Number 10 and repeat …

“Because when immigration is too high (no figure given), when the pace of change is too fast, it’s impossible to build a cohesive society. It’s difficult for schools and hospitals and core infrastructure like housing and transport to cope. And we know that for people in low-paid jobs, wages are forced down even further while some people are forced out of work altogether. … So there is no case, in the national interest, for immigration of the scale we have experienced over the last decade.”

PLANS for a new Islamic BOYS school in Blackburn have been approved.

The Tauheedul Education Trust lodged a planning application with Blackburn with Darwen Council for an 800-pupil free school on the former cattle market in Sumner Street, Blackburn.

The demolition of existing buildings and the erection of a school and further education college with associated parking and landscaping would provide a permanent home for top-performing Tauheedul Islam Boys’ High School, which has been housed on a temporary site at the former Blakewater College in Shadsworth Road since it opened in 2012.

A reasonably good programme on BBC4 last night about the clothes of King Charles II became rather silly and BBC-ish when it turned out that the replica of one of Charles suits that was being made was being modelled by the female presenter. What on earth was the point of that? Would it not have made more sense to find a male model with a similar build to the King? There was then some feeble attempt to shoehorn ‘gender’ and ‘trans’ stuff into it by claiming men’s clothes were becoming more ‘gender fluid’.

A fair media would have absolutely slaughtered Khan for suggesting the leader of the free world should not be able to visit because he hurt his feelings. This is a man who holds a grudge.

IF Donald Trump is as bad as the MSM claim he is, and IF he is as they are now insinuating senile, lying in bed eating burgers etc etc etc, and the economy is as successful as it is with new stock market highs every day, record employment, companies returning from China etc etc, then what the hell were all those so called professional politicians doing to screw up the country so effectively, and believe me it would have to have been deliberate.

This double edged sword is now starting to bite the liberal left who genuinely have wrecked America If a man as bad as they claim Trump is can be so successful then what the hell were they doing all that time in office?

Luckily the only people who listen to this stuff are in metrolpolitan bubbles. If economies are running ok , unemployment is dropping then people with common sense are not even going to both – Sopel just came on the 6 o clock al Beeb so off goes the switch.

Before then al Beeb was being virtuous about beggars in Windsor- in London yesterday I got hit, on my count by 8 beggars – including one who tried to goad me into saying something I shouldn’t – I being white he being diverse.

It would be nice if we had a couple of weeks on really cold weather – the yanks have it so maybe we will get it and soon. Won’t be so many begging then. They’ll all be hiding on the tube again.

    • Up2snuff says:

Fedup, Sopel was interesting for a change – he admitted and you heard it here first – that up to 50% of BBC News is FakeNews or FalseNews. Well, in relation to the yet-to-be-published Michael Wolff book, ‘Fire and Fury’, that is. Not all BBC news, except perhaps that which Jon Sopel does, because he would know about that. The rest of BBC News is that defective mix of deception, propaganda, opinion, speculation and real news to which we are now reluctantly becoming accustomed.*

I really do hope the BBC obtained a copy of the book in advance of its publication and have read it very thoroughly because they might just ‘end up with egg on their faces’. In the 6pm News Sopel stated that Wolff “was given extraordinary access to the inner workings of the West Wing and apparently has got hours and hours of taped interviews with key players.” .

      Have they checked that?

Or are they just relying on a claim of Michael Wolff?

      * The speculation bit came later in the 6pm news. An item about the Windsor begging story was typical of BBC FakeNews and FalseNews. Edina Campbell was the reporter. Six people were lying in the High Street on Christmas Day was stated by her with some relish. No question asked in interview why ‘Stuart’ lost his flat. The Police & Crime Commissioner was brought on. It was stated that he disagreed. Except he didn’t. He expressed the reality that some of those rough sleeping and begging had mental health issues and that they needed to be treated kindly. Edina Campbell finished with “Despite the police support, those living on the streets in Windsor feel today’s letter has created more unease and uncertainty.”.

      A condescending and patronising assumption.

As they say, you couldn’t make it up.

Except they did. To me, it seemed like a large part of the whole thirty minutes was twisted, skewed, distorted presentation of items from earlier in the day. From Tony Blair through the NHS and the Gove proposals with comments thereon, via Trump and on to Windsor. Unreliable, all of it.

The only two pieces of news that seemed genuine were the closure of the Colmans Factory in Norwich (because I had heard about that independently) and the Irn Bru reduced sugar piece, which from past experience seemed logical.

The BBC, sliding downhill in the snow, rain and mud to potential oblivion.

Lucky for him that the self-righteous, pompous prick Keir Starmer was DPP when he was prosecuted, and managed to botch the prosecution so that he will be out in a derisory eight years.

Starmer is an incompetent cretin, who has the sheer brass neck to try and defeat our democratic Brexit vote. BBC News Channel broadcasts a show they call BBC Breakfast – an increasingly female orientated and female interest only news magazine I call “The Mad Woman’s Breakfast” – because it’s all over the place.
For example, Thursday morning: Attention ladies… There’s not just Post-Natal Depression… now we have to check for PRE-Natal Depression (I kid you not – pun sort of intended). Or as we used to call having a Bad Day. But of course, there’s no glorious inexorable public sector expansion to be wrung out of having a Bad Day. Funny how you don’t hear about these issues in the developing world. Talking of first world problems we now have to watch out for lower paid jobs being replaced by robots… so, remind me why we need all this third world immigration?
Next up, children of the age at which they are beginning secondary school are having issues with the Internet (Control it! Runs smug BBC subtext). Self-esteem issues, body image (this is mainly girls I’m guessing) this issue, that issue the other issue – or as I like to call it : Growing Up. But of course, there’s no glorious inexorable public sector expansion to be wrung out of Growing Up.
2018 and guess what centenary we’re celebrating – you guessed it – The Suffragettes. Votes For Women a positive development we might have thought had settled the issue. Oh no, it’s just as well the BBC doesn’t harp on the Great War because judging by their coverage of Suffragettes the BBC would reckon a hundred years on we still need to go after that Kaiser. Oh yes, and now here comes the buzzword “Pay Gap”.
Jane McCubbin our intrepid BBC reporter takes to the streets to talk to women and seek out grievance when and where she can find it. Excitedly she brings us the hot news that younger women mostly vote Labour. Hurrah! Thank goodness we put half our democratic destiny into the hands of the self-esteem deprived, body issues obsessed, pre-natally depressed. Blimey, bring the voting age down some more why don’t we.
McCubbin (love the name) explains the female predilection for the Left this way – “Women are against Austerity”. Let me reinterpret: Men have been so derided in our society that young women could just be looking elsewhere for support and inspiration in the form of The State.
Back to the studio and our token male (sort of) Charlie Stayt. Is he fully on board with this Feminazi Momentum? Yep, full Stockholm Syndrome. I diagnose male self-esteem issues, male body image issues and post-macho depression.
