Will the BBC report on this? It’s not about the pay gap or Hillary …. so maybe not.

    Mr Lewis told left-wing Momentum members: “I was able to use bias in my reports (working at the BBC) by giving less time to one than the other. {thesun 28jan2018}

“I reported on both but the angle and words and the language I used — I know the pictures I used — I was able to project my own particular political positions on things (in BBC reports) in a very subtle way.”

Mr Lewis made his damning comments last September at a Momentum rally in Brighton.

Ah, the ‘youthquake’. Just after the election was a heady time for Labour: they had expected wipeout and the relief that it hadn’t happened was palpable. Emily Thornberry was on the BBC declaring that ‘Labour had actually won’, in all seriousness. The beeb has always clung to that ‘preparing for government’ narrative.
There was also this new narrative that all youngsters vote Labour. The foolish Tories have actually adopted this, and publicly agonised over how to change that ‘trend’. They are their own worst enemies.
Labour have far better propaganda strategists than the Tories, if only because they know they can rely on the BBC to fight their corner 95% of the time.
We will know that the Tories have turned the corner, when THEY start hammering the beeb and calling them out for their bias. (Fat hope under remainer May: Brexit is BRE! Or was it XIT? Perhaps it was ‘BIT’ – a bit of? No, it must have been just ‘X’. Or was it just a small ‘x’?)

To be fair to our Cathy, she does seem to know when she has got it wrong and can at times be most forthright in her apologies

        http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-31443076

‘Channel 4 News presenter Cathy Newman has issued an apology after tweeting that she had been “ushered” out of a south London mosque.

Newman offered “sincere apologies” after it emerged she had mistakenly arrived at the wrong mosque.

She said sorry for causing a “great deal of offence” after tweeting her “interpretation of events.”‘

Here’s another name we’ve heard oncemore, you know Ben de Pear who is now backing his presenter to the hilt in the face of apparently abusive messages…

‘Channel 4 News editor Ben de Pear hand-delivered two letters to the South London Islamic Centre on Wednesday and met with the Imam and his committee to offer an “unreserved apology”.’

        Man to man?

‘In his letter de Pear said he had “spoken to (Newman) at length and expressed my disappointment at her actions”.’

Funnily enough there is no mention of any Twitter abuse received nor Channel 4 having security concerns over the incident. Strange.

Which just goes to show… well, draw your own conclusions.

What was that Cathy Newman line about something ‘trumping’ some other group?

All this “pay gap” furore – is it simply serving the interests of a few one-percenter wimmin in already very privileged over-paid media positions?

Did Cathy Newman’s continued banging on about her prized example of the BBC’s vagina-brandishing presenters getting less quids than their penis-holding colleagues rather give the game away?

Could be… The Evening Standard yesterday: “Women must be ruthless to get voice….”

“says Sir Peter Hall’s producer daughter”

    https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/news/anti-colonialist-protesters-storm-churchill-themed-cafe-blighty-finsbury-park-soas-halimo-hussain-5fjdm6vkg

A group of foreign students invaded a café in order to inflict their ideas on the indigenous population of the UK. Halimo Hussain, Dimitri Cautain, Nisha Phillips, all from the School of Oriental and African Studies chanted “It is our duty to fight for our freedom”.

The reason for their self-preening ire? The café was called Churchill.

Errm, prancing around a coffee shop in London to try and erase the finest aspects of UK history is hardly the same as fighting Nazis across the beaches of Normandy to save the world from tyranny.

Anyone know why overseas students are allowed to terrorise the native peoples, because they object to Churchill, the man who saved the world from German Fascism?

No doubt the BBC will be alarmed at this unpleasant intimidation.

And also, what the hell do these children get taught at the School of Oriental and African Studies, if they do not know of our history and what Churchill represents.

They are getting a kicking in the HYS

It is kind of funny that the BBC exhibits a gender pay bias
.. when it uses this website to stuff about 10 new “women are great, men are horrible”
articles down our throats each day.

Yes there is probably a BBC job : The BBC ‘men are horrible’ Officer

Never heard of that woman that worked in China, the one whining she didn’t get paid as much as household names that worked in war zones.

No one at the BBC ought to be earning more than the PM for reading an autocue.

This “gender bias” is just a distraction tactic by the BBC to stop people thinking about the huge salaries some of their “talent” gets paid for doing fairly simple stuff like reading the news off an auto-cue.

The real issue is the TV tax being used to pay a handful of people obscene amounts of money for doing very little – that is the real scandal

We have a female : Head of state, Prime Minister, Home Secretary, Commissioner of the Met, leader of the SNP/PlaidCymru/Greens, 60% of University graduates are now women.

If there is a shadowy organisation responsible for keeping women down then they are doing a pretty terrible job.

Rubbish graph created by a statistical incompetent. The bars should show the proportion of people at each level, not the number.
The BBC has many more male than female stars overall, at all pay levels, so it’s impossible from the graph to compare and see if the pay levels themselves are fair or not.

The Today programme was on top form this morning.

First of all they had their bit about who should be voted the most influential British woman of the past century. One dopey bint suggested Miss Shilling, who during the war invented “Miss Shilling’s Orifice”. This was a simple device which prevented Merlin engines from stalling under negative G. According to the BBC’s expert, however, it was used in our “jet engines” by the “British army”. Thanks for that insight dearie.

We were then subjected to the thoughts of the Pimlico Plumber, who wants Mrs May to go, to be replaced by “Phil Hammond” (!) or Boris Johnson (!!). Apparently, a second referendum is now inevitable. Thanks for that unique commentary mate, but I wouldn’t trust you to fix a faulty ball cock.

Finally, we had “Republican” Trump hater David Frum on, to explain why an FBI man’s resignation was the result of pressure from Donald Trump, trying to hide how the Russians got him elected. The Republicans in the House were going to release the notorious FISA memo, but only to protect Mr Trump, who is apparently an arch criminal who is trying to subvert American democracy, nothing to do with Obama, Clinton and the Deep State after all it seems. Thanks Dave, the Republican Party needs more men like you.

These were just three items, one after the other, and all complete and utter rubbish. I couldn’t stand any more.

    Real version-
“After the Canelo loss, you went on a losing streak, Family, wife. Then, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Guys, guys, this is not Pakistan versus India. It’s not a cricket match. Please! Please! Darren Osborne on trial.
Seems to be not taking his trial very seriously. Apart from not being the driver and was in the footwell changing his trousers whilst someone called Dave and Terry were driving. They were looking to kill Jeremy Corbyn at some Pro Palistine demo and getting Khan would be like winning the the lottery he said.
Was pure comedy if it was not so serious.
Especially the statement he made about starting a Welsh terror group and calling it The Taffia……
BBC took it all extremely serious though

What he did more than anything is expose the fundamental human dishonesty about the righteous feminist left where they want freedom for their own arguments yet do not even wish to debate any other ideas. He exposed identity politics for what it is – a fraudulent and hollow panacea.
Where the feminist dominated media are more concerned about the pay differentials of already disgustingly paid journalists whilst there is little interest in the rape of over 1400 girls by mainly some Pakistani muslims
Where a FGM , honour crimes and female suppression under sharia is deemed less interesting than a bad look in the street or someone throwing bacon at a mosque.
And where the sex pr sexuality of someone becomes the important factor rather than what the person is saying.

On Radio 4 at about 7:20am today they interviewed Barrack Obama’s former speech writer (ffs -who else would give an impartial view?).

Interviewer “So is Trump a much better President now than he was at his inauguration speech? His State of the Union speech was all about coming together to make America better?”

Barrack Obama’s Lefty Liberal Trump hating speech writer, “No he is probably worse than ever” (can’t remember the exact words but the tone was like that).

I remember not long ago the BBC used to interview two people representing the different sides of an argument and the give the left/liberal more air time to get their point across. These days they don’t even bother to interview anyone else, right of far left, to try and balance the view anymore.

A Democrat on Five Live was complaining about Trump cheating on his wife, being part of Me Too problem and generally throwing mud. It was so half-hearted, though. Clearly character assassination just does not work with Trump – we know what he is. It must suck for the Dems because this was an age old tactic which conveniently meant you did not have to come up with any actual policies yourself.

There is a brilliant South Park episode which parodies the 2004 presidential election. The boys have a choice between a turd sandwich and a giant douche bag for the school mascot. Kyle decides not to vote. “What is the point in choosing between a douche bag and a turd sandwich? Do not care.”

Throughout their attacks on and fear mongering, have they actually come up with any rival policies to help people? They are in real trouble now his policies are bearing fruit. Who cares if a leader is a bit offensive if he gets you a job and keeps you safe? I personally find all his ‘offensivess’ extremely funny, as is all the liberal elitist pretended to be so shocked and morally outraged when you know that when nobody else is listening they say and do all sorts of appalling things. I guess we all do to an extent, though not as bad as career politicians! Trump is honest and I admire him for that; he is a breath of fresh air.

A new study has found femald jockeys are as good as men, and of course the BBC is all over this. Only 11.3% of jockey licences are held by women, whereas women make up about half of stable staff.

Horse racing is the only sport where ambulances follow the athletes round every day. Jumps racing is especially dangerous; Tony McCoy broke nearly every bone in his body. Do women really fancy that? I would much rather work in the stable than face the daily danger of getting trampled or falling from a height and breaking multiple bones. They never consider that any ‘gap’ might be explained by men and women wanting different things.

Also I am suspicious of this ‘study.’ There are some good female jockeys, but part of the skillset is about physical strength to push a horse home. Obviously men as a whole are stronger so will be overrepresented in occupations that require physical strength.

Once again the BBC looks for oppression where there is none; addicted to that buzz of feeling virtuous they are forced to look at minor ‘issues’ like this as there is not enough ‘oppression’ around to fit their narrative.

Over 90% of fatalities at work are men, which in part explains the ‘pay gap.’ Why should you not be paid more if you are willing to risk your life for a job, do the dirty, dangerous and gruelling work nobody else wants to do? And who on earth would work on oil rigs or fish for snow crab in the Bearing Sea if they were told their pay would be cut in half as feminists think it is unfair? They want to ‘smash down the patriarchy’ but what will you replace it with? You would be really f**cked if men stopped driving lorries to deliver your food and building everything.

I’m sure women and the little ones must have loved working in factories; mines and up chimneys until the oppressive patriarchy decided they shouldn’t.
Why should it be only men who get all the fun of work?

Not everything that counts can be counted and not everything that can be counted counts. Nothing could quantify that great feeling of patriotism and freedom I felt the morning of the result.

Plus for the vast majority just doing enough to get by, a ‘3 percent larger economy’ or whatever is meaningless.

Plus how can you possibly know what will happen? These ‘models’ of what could happen sound a lot like bullsh*t to me.

Suppose we stayed in the EU and imported another 10% to add to our population. The ‘country’ might be ‘better off’ by 10% but you and I would be competing for house, roads, schools, doctors etc. with these extra 10% so we would be worse off. Increased demand for the same resources, like houses, would put up prices making us even more worse off. But increased prices would feed into GDP so ‘we’ would all apparently be better off!
Personally I would be quite happy to see the UK’s GDP halve – and the popluation drop by 35 million. The politicians wouldn’t like that because they want to keep their place in the economic league table.
