When the kids with nice 2-1s from a red brick came in with that cock sured “ give me the job “ attitude – i would hand them their apllication and ask them to explain the red bits . – I hasten to add – I did it for every colour and all two genders

    ‘University racism complacency warning.’

Behold our racism non-story of the day. Nothing has actually happened, obviously – actual racist incidents disappeared about forty years ago. Someone paid to uncover racism has said something to further her career.

If there is an ‘achievement gap’ between certain groups perhaps some groups do not value education as much as others so do not work as hard? They just do not get the equal opportunities versus equal outcomes issue. What more can we possibly do to give everyone a fair chance? Whites are already openly discriminated against in applications, can you get any more extreme than that?

I have worked at school where BAME kids are bullied by certain peers for ‘acting white’ when they study hard. Disparities are due to culture, not racism. This key issue is never, ever mentioned by those who purport to care deeply about the problem.

Ain’t no fluke with the gook: the Chinese have a fantastic work ethic and strong family values which is why they out perform the British. They should be held up as an example of how immigrants can excel if they have the right attitude. Of course that will not happen as it is much easier to just smear us Brits as a load of vile racists.

‘Complacency’ meaning no actual problem. You get complacent when you are succeeding at something.

Why not a headline about how well we are doing to achieve equality, which we indeed are? I am sick of all these race pimps stirring things up.

It’s uncomfortable for some people to read (echoes of Nazi aryan supremacy and the absolute inhumane horrors that led to) but studies show far Eastern IQ at around 106, white European around 100 and sub Saharan around 86.

If you look at history the greatest scientific and artistic discoveries show that to be true.

It doesn’t mean you can’t be an exceptional Nobel prize winning sub Saharan but the odds are against you.

https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fpsyg.2016.00399 is a study by Rinderman in which all sorts of disadvantages were acknowledged and counter-weighed such as war, poverty, nutrition, family size, schooling etc.

Not that the bBBC or Common Purpose types will ever be able to constructively discuss this.

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/may/15/she-prayed-she-would-be-martyred-gaza-parents-mourn-their-dead

The Guardian is honest for once. BBC should learn from this item in today’s Guardian:

‘She prayed she would be martyred’: Gaza parents mourn their dead

“At 14 years old, Wesal Sheikh Khalil had already made plans for her funeral. If Israeli troops were to shoot her during protests on the Gaza border, the Palestinian teenager had told her mother, she should be buried at the spot where she died or in the plot next to her grandfather’s grave.

“She thought death was better than this life,” said Reem Abu Irmana a day after she lost her youngest daughter. “Every time she went to the demonstrations she prayed to God that she would be martyred.””

So a 14 year old child has been brainwashed to give up her life for Hamas and the BBC, the most trusted broadcaster in the world, cannot bring itself mention this.

This article explains fully why people are dying when charging for the Israeli border,

Just when you thought that certain individuals were dead and well buried, they return to haunt the airwaves. That ghoul Ed Balls has resurfaced on Toady. Nothing has changed, I will always savour the memory of his demeanour when he lost his seat. Now, he’s involved with a “Report” which condemns Brexit needless to say and Robinson enhances Ball’s fervour by throwing into the pond the fly on a hook and line as bait: Chlorinated Chicken.
My listening to R4 has dramatically reduced over the past six months or so, so, how fellow contributors can still bear to watch a BBC channel is incomprehensible to me with their increasing team of foreigners involved with news. I guess that’s just to assist the transition to an islamic Britain when perhaps all the news we are likely to hear on the BBC originates in Pakistan or the Middle East.

There is a remainer theme on al beeb . MPs who have been thrown out in democratic elections are given air time by the State broadcaster to tell us were were wrong .

The other theme is that if these characters had cared for their constituents a bit more instead of getting adddicted to the international troughing they might still have a little bit of legitimacy .

The colour white is becoming an ethnic minority on the state broadcaster very quickly .this is not purely a matter of race . It is a matter of 1000s of years of our national culture being rubbished in a couple of decades

I cannot locate any evidence of published academic work, other than a list of political posts.

I suggest that all black academics should be recorded with the letter B next to their name in citations and publications so that hiring bodies would identify them on paper as having black skin and therefore entitlement to higher level academic posts.

Halle Berry, Afua Hirsch, Thandie Newton et al, are all at it, and now Meghan Markle has suddenly become the poster girl to beat all poster girls for the accolade. Yet, one of our best female singers ever never ‘pushed’ her heritage in our faces, – I’m thinking the gal from Tiger Bay – Shirley Bassey, and because of that we just accepted her, and race was never an issue.

Because this is the age of the ‘victim’, the more ‘victim’ you are the better.

‘Blacks’ are victims because they are either descended from slaves, (maxi-victims) or come from countries that had all of their resources stolen by the evil ‘white’ colonialists. I’m not sure how that explains the gold, diamonds, copper and oil etc. that remain, which attracts the attention of the evil ‘yellow’ colonialists now.

    Rant time

I have just listened to a programme on al beeb called “ a church in crisis” no question mark involved. It was presented by some one called William Crawley . A quick check – he was a Northern Irish Protestant vicar before becoming a journo .

The programme was a muddled 30 minutes concerning the forthcoming referendum on the legalisation of killing unborn babies / abortion – according to taste and the tarnished past of the Roman Catholic Church .

There were huge failures in this programme –

1 Treating Ireland as an isolated country . It was a long time ago but not since Ryanair and the web

2 the complex relationship between members of the church and its rules – contraception and ending life for one .

3 that title . Treating the RC church as a static state and it’s level of power through history . Nothing stays the same – even interpretation of the New Testament .

Anyway – the first mention. Of Christianity -Jesus Christ – didn’t come until minute 15 . Which I also thought was very al beeb .

Rant over – sorry to bring religion here and o know it’s dangerous . I just can’t think albeeb would give that treatment to Islam .

\\63 cases where people who could have entered UK from Caribbean before 1973 – as part of Windrush generation have been removed or deported from UK.
    – 32 were foreign national offenders,
    – 31 administrative removals ie told to leave //
Remember being a Pre-1973 Windrush doesn’t guarantee you citizenship, cos you must not leave the UK for more than 2 years before you citizenship is regularlised.
So even if you worked years paid taxes, then went to Jamaica to retire using a Jamaican passport, and then after 2 years decided to smuggle drugs into the UK and get caught, your deportation would be legal.
Yet if your brother had regularlised his British status and then done the same thing, he wouldn’t get deported

And even if you came back to Britain and committed no crime ..an order to deport you would not be ILLEGAL, cos having left the UK for more than 2 years you would not have citizenship rights.

It was an EU approved cladding that was chosen over a British fireproof one which was more expensive. It was John Prescott’s (remember him?) department that chose the EU one. In fairness whether or not the cladding was fireproof is immaterial as a fire man of my acquaintance pointed out that all the cladding did was bypass the built in fireproofing. and acted as an enormous chimney. The use of pointless cladding can be laid in my opinion at the door of the Green Lobby…But that isn’t going to happen Cheers

I did have a bit of a hand in Marx and women during a period I collaborated with Trotski’s former secretry, Raya Dunayevskaya, who was aware of Marx’s shortcomings in this area. I had been encouraging Raya in her interest in Hegel, who Marx had in many ways misunderstood, and his followers had completely misread. Raya published ‘Rosa Luxemburg, Women’s Liberation, and Marx’s Philosophy of Revolution in 1982, a couple of years before her death. Published posthumously was her collection of writings, published in 1985, Women’s Liberation and the Dialectics of Revolution.

  27. Payne by name says:

I really can’t get my head around what’s going on with Israel and the Jews.

I admit that when I was younger, I might have railed against the Jews a bit. Not in any kind of overt anti-Semitism but just a feeling that maybe if they didn’t keep banging about the holocaust, if they didn’t feel compelled to keep reminding you that they were Jewish, stressed about only marrying into their own and just assimilated better, that they would be accepted easier.

But researching the treatment of Israel, the three wars of survival that they have fought, the numerous times that they’ve tried to negotiate with the Palestinians, the way that their armed forces, politics and culture are open to all – straight and gay – Jews, Christians and Muslims – compared to the ridiculously closed countries around them, I just cannot fathom the brazenly open anti-Semitism.

Many try to couch it in double speak by saying, we aren’t ragging on the Jews, just the Israelis but that’s patently obvious nonsense. The scales of injustice and unfairness in that area are so weighted against Israel that to claim a neutral position despite the evidence of what Israel has gone through, displays (to me) that clearly your judgement is being warped by anti-Semitism.

Especially when it comes from the western media. Europe sat by and allowed the Jews to be driven from their shores, exterminated en masse to a point where they either had to flee to safer countries around the world or one tiny spit of land inherently linked to their history that the UN in it’s faux magnanimity deigned to grant them.

And yet when they were granted that land, they were immediately invaded to be exterminated again right under our very noses. Never mind that the surrounding countries ignored the UN, threw out the specially agreed terms and demonstrated open hostility – that can be swept under the carpet.

And the Jews fought back, overcame the odds and gave the bullies a bloody nose. And then they were attacked again and then again. So yes, maybe they have full reason to be prickly, they have full reason to say ‘we can’t afford to dick around and hope that these lunatics who have previously attacked us and repeatedly call for our destruction can be trusted’. They don’t have the luxury of waiting to see, they don’t have the ability to wait for the world to step in (not that they would) if they were attacked again. They have a responsibility and a duty to their citizens (all of their citizens – women, children, old and young, black and white, heterosexual and homosexual, Jewish and other faiths) to protect and not put in jeopardy (more than it already is) the lives of their people.

Yet despite all of this and Europe’s shameful treatment of them, the Beeb and the media think it okay to portray them as evil. Hell, we’ve even come full circle where members of the German media and/or politics think it okay to criticise Israel. Are you having a fucking laugh.

From a place that was the acorn of civilisation, Israel is the only shining light in the area. The only place where different faiths can properly live and exist, the only place where civil rights and law is properly practiced, the only place where things are invented, patents applied for and advances to the human race made.

The surrounding lands are a cesspit of sand and sadism. Of hysterical fanatics and medieval attitudes. Lands that offer the world nothing but extremism, nihilism and fear.

The attitude of the BBC, the hand washing political elite and the mainstream media is dishonest and disgusting. Israel is the tiger in the zoo, trapped in a tiny cage with a hundred sticks endlessly jabbing at it yet we are irate at the tiger. When those jabbing at it have all the surrounding shit holes to populate yet still feel driven to want that one small cage, how can so many in the West (knowing what was done to them in the past) still be oblivious to the unfairness that is being directed at them?

    Only anecdotal from me but:

    1. Two factories making the same product. One brings workers over from the EU (ten/twelve on the production line), one uses automation (two on the production line). Guess which one has the highest productivity? Two workers v ten/twelve. Source: Me, anecdotal.
    2. Company used an agency to fill vacancies for the last few years. All/most applicants from the EU. Company recently ditched the agency and used an online recruitment service. The outcome?British based applicants received for the first time in years. Source: Me, anecdotal.
    3. Six people working at a hand car wash. One/Two at an automated car wash. Guess which has the highest productivity? Source: Me, anecdotal

Yes, our politicians and Civil Servants have been very negligent for years. They have consistently under-provided across all areas of national life.

Then, in addition, they have done deliberately stupid things, eg. removing road space from categories of vehicles which then makes congestion worse. Predictable in advance – just some basic economics – but they still did it.

Then legislating for extra Government. All government costs money. So they said “Let’s have more.” More Government has consumed more taxpayer money but the under-provision has still continued and now they tell us “We do not have the money to fix this. Please pay even more tax.”

        Madness.

”In his interview, Mr Broadbent compared a recent slowdown in UK productivity to a similar lull at the end of the 1800s, which has been described as a “climacteric” period.

The term, which is borrowed from biology and is used for both sexes, means “you’ve passed your productive peak”, the deputy governor said.
He suggested that the UK may be seeing a “pause” between two technological leaps forward – akin to one experienced by late-Victorian industrialists from steam to electricity.

However, he said the economy could be awaiting its next big breakthrough, possibly as a result of Artificial Intelligence.”

Or get the increased productivity breakthrough right now by cutting the unlimited supply of docile, cheap, puppy dog eager to please the boss immigrant dickheads, thus forcing firms to modernize.

We know Trump is a scoundrel and do not care; I personally love it. It shows how all they have is character assassination and when that does not work they have nowhere to go.

Then something about the right to protest at abortion clinics in Sydney, about 1000000000th on most people’s lists of concerns but a good chance for a Beeb reporter to have a holiday.

Their focus on things nobody cares about is why they are so fake. It is like going to a pub and there is a huge fight, someone takes over one corner of the pub etc – it all kicks off. Ask the media what happened and they will say how lovely the beer mats were.

And yet they still manage to shovel £600,000 a year into his bank account.

Discussion on R4 about cladding…BBC “an outright ban is the only answer” ….
The interviewers just keeps saying “an outright ban” as though that’s the only solution in every case…
Apparently the residents of Grenfell also know more about cladding than the experts…
I have never heard two such simpering people talk about technical issues, about which neither seems to understand..yawnnnn

“and as prime minister “. Will she jump ship or get pushed so we can sail to safer seas ?

They are calling it a ‘physics gender gap’ and have a whole task force to narrow it – publicly funded of course. Obviously stereotypes and unconscious bias are the problem. Not enough role models for girls to look up to! You have to see someone who looks like you doing something to want to do it, according to liberal logic. Why do I love table tennis when I only ever see Chinese people playing it? What utter, total bullshit that argument is.

BB, there were a couple of good programmes last night on BBC4’s space season (BBC4 docs I generally find to be far better than any of the beeb’s other output). Well I was shocked to see footage of the Apollo missions in the 70s and how mission control seemingly was staffed 100% by white men. Nary a skirt nor a niqab in sight. Incredible that they got to the moon at all.

In fact, I believe secret files show the Soviet failure in the space race was ultimately due to their technicians downing tools in order to properly address the treatment of non-binary engineeresses. Probably.
