Many people posting about al beeb bias describe the language it uses to shape views. So I thought we might list a few . I like the term “ extreme right” which seems to describe anything al beeb doesn’t like . Examples welcome .

Yes, the BBC conflation of the legalistic sense of British, i.e. becoming a British citizen by fulfilling FORMAL legal rquirements and being culturally British i.e. learning how to be British from British kith and kin has irritated me for ages. Anjem Choudry when he was asked why he held on to his British passport considering his animosity towards the country replied “It’s a useful travel document” I don’t know if anyone remembers Darcus Howe, early member of the British Black Panthers and enemy of white Britain, but he referred to himself as a “citizen of Britain and a native of Trinidad”. As your picture shows, the Big Beard may be a British citizen but never was and never will be a native of Britain. His loyalties, like those of Coudry and Howe and their newer recreations like Afua Hirsch lie elsewhere.
Similarly misleading is the term “home grown” terrorism. This suggests that Big Beard terrorism has its roots in Britain and Britain has in some way created it itself. But the truth is the seeds of Big Beard terrorism, from various islamic shitholes, have been allowed to enplant themseves in our native soil and grow unchecked.

Inanimate object or country assassin convolution: ‘Turkey turkey car loss of life feared’.
Bizarre reordering to try and get qualifiers (if actually included below the para break on social media:
“Israel commits war crimes….
…says heart-gnawing Hamas warlord from behind his niece”.

I avoid the BBC, but on the off chance I watch/listen this phrase just makes me laugh.

Divisive, controversial and their new favourite, populist, all codes for ‘we don’t agree with’.
Then there is the variation on ‘some say’ widely used on their web site, ‘the question’, i.e. “Can a cat ever be nicer than a dog?” This is especially good because it lets them float ideas that they would like to be in the news but aren’t and also spread a bit of ‘gun smoke’ so that the gullible think that a gun must have been fired.. but of course the BBC never actually said that, however the idea has been planted.
The diverse, vibrant, tolerant, community offended by the inappropriate back-lash by the so called far right plebs. I could go on but won’t.

Another expression I forgot to use to describe the BBC: ‘Crock of shite’. It’s a term I can get used to.
According to a BBC radio programme I was listening to a couple of weeks ago, it’s now politically incorrect to use the phrase “commit suicide” because it apparently harkens back to the time when attempted suicide was illegal. The problem is I don’t know what other word you would use is this situation to go with the word suicide: “carry out suicide” is a bit clunky, as is “do suicide” or “make suicide”. I know this isn’t a frivolous topic, but that’s no reason to alter a perfectly acceptable English phrase, in my opinion.
I believe the politically correct way to describe “commit suicide” is now “took their own life”. Took it where exactly is another topic for debate!
I notice that the left are always going on about how PM is about to ‘topple’ and I have even seen a few subtle hints from the BBC saying it as well.
May is always ‘in crisis’ or the Tories are ‘fractured’ and ‘divided’ while May is about to ‘topple’ at any moment.
They have been saying that for a year and despite a now passed rumour about another snap election she has no sign of standing aside just yet despite a few difficult moments with Brexit.
I have noticed the BBC have been joining in with this Tory bashing from time to time (or whenever they think that they can get away with it) and will always throw in a few digs towards the PM. I mean they seem to think that Corbyn can do any better?

It starts by intimidation , visits by ” enforcement officers ” and obviously follows one line of thought ; pay us or we’ll do you . Dispute it and their weasel words use the excuse it’s just an enquiry , sorry to incommode you , we want to leave you alone if you give us your name etc .
Their letters more than heavily imply you’re illegal , and that their ” enforcement officers ” have a right to visit and enter your home .
You really have to study , check and analyse their threats to see a hidden truth they don’t want you to know ; you don’t need a licence .
A television in your home is not proof that you are receiving live broadcasts . Fact .
And you don’t have to prove you are not receiving live broadcasts . You don’t have to prove your innocence , they have to prove if you are guilty , which they can’t without the most disreputable methods seen in Stalin’ s Russia .
So if they start with a lie there , how can you trust them ?
I`d not say we`re out of the woods, but Capita have finally acknowledged that we told them as and why we`d refuse to pay for their lies and Lineker.
We wrote to them, and they now have to keep our views on file-and if they bother us again, we`ve got a few names high up who`d have to explain to local media what and why we did what we did. They`ll have to read out what we sent them, if we play it right.

Real meaning: left-wing billionaire who has acquired his wealth through ethically questionable means and who now uses it to promote destructive and damaging causes throughout the world e.g. opposing Brexit, financing coups in Ukraine, promotion of abortion and transgender clinics, campaigning for legislation of drugs, encouraging mass migration to Europe to undermine national sovereignty etc. Always reported reverentially and uncritically. “Coming together” or “a city united”.
The Beeb, and others, have trotted out this nonsense when remembering the Manchester attack and the London Bridge attack.
There is no ‘coming together’ or a need to be united. The attacks didn’t happen because two warring factions don’t get along. It’s simply one side (one vocal minority section of society) that doesn’t want to integrate with the majority host culture/society.
There is no requirement to meet in the middle, to bury our grievances and ‘unite’. British society, rules, laws and way of life do not need to bend to accommodate Islam in harmonious union.
Literalist muslims and radical Islam simply need to stop what they are doing. They need to buckle down and stop trying to destroy the culture and society that they have chosen to live in. It shouldn’t be framed as 50/50 on either side – it’s 100 on one side.

You seem to have fallen for the idea that literalist muslims are following a “perversion of Islam” as Cameron and May would have us believe. The essence of islam is literalist as a muslim believes the Koran is the word of god. No muslim would ever question that and so the idea that the validity of any of the more blood thirsty, kuffar hacking passages would ever be removed or modified is wishful thinking. Gods say what they say and expect to be obeyed. “Death to the infidel” is a particularly clear message and trying to second guess the all knowing deity will not find any rewards in paradise.
