I was initially tempted to say that the expressed opinions of a Hollywood actor/actress are nothing special, they are of exactly the same value as those of any member of the public and certainly no more important. But then I thought: these people make a living by speaking words written for them by others and pretending to be people that they aren’t. So perhaps their opinions are of far less value than those of ordinary folk?
