Presidential and general thread 11 July 2018

Welcome President Trump – now that’s a phrase we won’t hear on al beeb . Al beeb is neutral , untainted by bias , a world class broadcaster , so compare that with the last time an American President visited Britain and so many embarrassed themselves in exultation.

It won’t be difficult to evidence the bias but it needs to be done here.

regrets Engerland But the boys dun good .
It will be painful to see the French Africa team take the Croats apart in the final but al beeb will stick a multicultural spin on it

It is clear that the anti Trump protest, as Spiked recently commented is a piece of middle class virtue signalling with bugger all to do with politics.
The photo here, which you will not see on the BBC is also a display of a need for some form of shallow exhibitionism

Enjoyed listening to the Sun interview with President Trump. He comes across very well. I hope he enjoys his round of golf tomorrow but the security needs to be spot on.
So much attention given to the anti-Trump protests and yet in all the photos, the numbers look small. Far left loons, white witches, cats and dogs against Trump (since when did animals get to vote?), brainwashed sleep-deprived schoolkids, the usual trash.
How many were at any pro-Trump rallies ? Have any pictures of those been uploaded. With no TV (thanks to you, Beeb), it is hard for me to keep up.
Great to hear Khan criticised by the POTUS. Rudy Giuliani rightly put the boot into Khan the other day too, urging him to concentrate on running London and dealing with the crimewave and spiralling murder rate (now higher than NYC). Giuliani would do a good job in London !
Seems only The Sun and The Express are on Trump’s side.
No wonder John Cleese is sick of the media in this country and is going to retire to the island of St Nevis. The BBC were even insulting Monty Python recently. Still funny all these years later and there is nothing like it now, just political “comedy”. Only Milton Jones and Stu Francis are funny, both of whom steer well clear of politics.

Shame on the snowflake protesters and virtue-signallers.
Where were they when the Saudi crown prince vsited the UK recently?
Why were they not protesting about what happened to all the girls of Rotherham, Rochdale, Luton, Derby, Oxford, Telford, Newcastle and so on and so on ?
Hypocrites. What are they good for ? One way ticket to Pluto ?

Al Beeb has been broadcasting a lot of anger and vitriol against Trump today. Many, many, many despots have come to the UK in the last 50 years and never has Al Beeb behaved so bad. Their transparent attempts of propaganda have failed to brainwash the majority of the native people of these islands, but their recent attempts have failed miserably.
Take their take their pro-Labour stance in the last two elections – Failed.
Take the pro remain stance before the EU referendum -Failed.

Their next move will be to link Brexit with Trump because he knows the game that May is playing with her BRINO and Al Beeb know that also. Watch this space ……………..

A lot of it is no interview with the BBC which really has got to them. Imagine the cheek of it. Turning the BBC down in favour of the Sun?

I suppose that what we are seeing is people who use meaningless protest as a kind of social gathering type thing – and this has been magnified beyond reasonable proportion by the internet and 27/4 news – or even 24/7 news .

Small groups and be made bit if albeeb wants it and visa Versa – as with the active undermining of non snowflakes – who are instantly classified as ‘extreme far right’ to quote their mussie mayor

Just hope D Davis and bojo move on May next week . They have to do it .

They do not get it all. The President is a master tactician with a good team backing him. The US is no longer really concerned with Europe and that includes us. Russia is a different matter because it is a major nuclear power and potentially a real force in world affairs. Europe is ideologically distant now from the US and a burden to it if truth were told .
The tactics are to go in hard on Europe’s weak points( cost of Nato ) as we have seen this week and then to appear to be conciliatory . The same with Mrs May . Attack then back off a touch.
There is one really major area where US interests diverge and that is over Iran. The US and it’s ME allies which now include a more subdued Saudi Arabia are going to deny Iran nuclear weapons and want regime change. Europe is an obstacle to this. Russia probably not so much and China also. The new powers in the world are these and also India and possibly Japan.
Thus the US is either ignoring Europe ( N.Korea ) or testing us all individually for reliability as allies. I| doubt whether the US is bothered either way over Brexit but is convinced that Europe as a whole is on the skids .
Those European nations that prove to be ideologically and practically aligned ( Poland and Hungary ) will get US aid and protection. The rest left to survive as best they can.
I expect the Putin visit will be very different. There is much of mutual interest between the two nations and as in the past they have to come to an understanding or risk nuclear war.

The president realises Europe has undermined its own security by importing the third world as well as the socialist mentality which infected us from the 1960s .

The only hope is populism – which really means giving people what they vote for instead undermining people s belief by a liberal class which thinks it knows better and so dismisses opinions and beliefs which differ .
Trying to work out where all this is going really is an armchair chess game . Part of trying to see developments is that we tend to believe the world will carry on as it is and that sudden events will trigger change . Forgive me as I don’t think i can get the view into words but if anyone knows what ‘ a black swan event ‘ is they’ll hopefully understand where I’m coming from .
I really hope President Trump goes for and gets a second term .

Black swan events always happen. By their very nature they cannot be foreseen maybe partially considered but the full effects never.
Take Martin Luther. His 95 Theses spread so rapidly throughout Germany and Europe that it seems almost like they had modern mass media. This was not foreseen and changed Europe forever.
In other words we could experience something similar and all I can deduce is that these events occur at periods when great dissatisfaction has built up in many societies and been ignored by the elites.

            Dave ,
Thank for that – an example probably helps explain what I was trying to say . I know there’s an argument for saying something like 9/11 or pearl harbour were not black swan events because they were foreseeable by thinkers but unfortunately the group think just said ‘go away – we’ve got other important things to deal with ‘ .

I’ve heard them ad nauseum saying this on the bbc radio and tv all day.

Sky tv has put the results of a poll out.
60% want Trump to meet the Queen.

As usual, the bbc are on the wrong side and are pushing fake news.

Good speech from President Trump . I am sure that in the clip with Her Majesty The Queen, the Queen is saying “after you” but of course the lefties will use this as a stick to beat Trump with.
On a local FB page where I sometimes post, the lefty mob are out in force but I would say that nearly 50% are posting in favour of Trump. The lefty lot are so thick, moaning about the cost of policing the visit, the President’s motorcade etc. So thick that they do not realise that all Presidents and world leaders and the Pope get this level of security. What a dumb bunch they are. And what a pitiful reflection on educational standards, as well as media standards. Were it not for family to consider, I would love to emigrate now, but I would need a lottery win to fund it.
Hoping the rest of President Trump’s visit goes well. Wonder if he got a chance to talk to Boris J or Nigel F? Sounds like he has a bit of a cold. Get well soon. He is 72 after all!

The Beeb are so annoyed that he spoke to The Sun. It is a sad reflection of the mainstream media in this country that probably only The Sun and The Express are giving Trump any sort of support. His treatment by the MSM is an absolute disgrace, but he is thick-skinned and lets all the flak bounce off him, cleverly using social media and alt media to his advantage. Refreshing that he is not a career politician and didn’t become one to make money. Wish we had someone of his calibre over here.

Lunched today with a friend and the conversation turned to Trump – whom she described as ‘odious’. When I asked as to why (apart from his foot in mouth gaffs) she fired off with the migrant children being separated from their parents and housed in cages. This is where most Trump haters come unstuck, and clear evidence that their basic information is through MSM. I then corrected her with images from 2014 of these children in compounds – hardly ‘cages’ when Obama’s administration was in power. Her reply ? Ohhhhh, I didn’t know that. So, I’m not saying the Trump haters are thick, but taking soundbite information as gospel and then basing their hatred upon the opinions of journalists and biased presenters.

errgh..no they are thick. Anyone who simply acts on an emotional impulse on matters of great importance and doesn’t even bother to question anything or seek to find out the truth of an issue is fundamentally stupid. We can define intelligence in many ways, but this is a native intelligence that we used to call common sense. It’s also very dangerous and leads to situations similar to what have been experienced many times before in European history, where large masses of people have simply suspended their criticial thought processes and given in to their emotions wholesale. I think you know which periods of history I am referring to.

I suppose that’s an example of people readily believing something they want to believe – if you see what I mean – which is where the constant venom beeboids pump out poisons discussion . Right thinking Americans must look at Blighty and think we are lost – state department developing policy to deal with asylum seekers such at TR.

Have to admit it bemuses me too, I can’t see anything in the Trumpophobia which doesn’t seem to be based on a combination of ignorance and mass hysteria.

Anyone who sits down and thinks about it logically will struggle to come up with anything worse about the man than:

      1. He’s a bit crass sometimes and likes eating things with tomato ketchup.
      2. He’s a bit rash and wears his heart on his sleeve.
      3. He’s not particularly photogenic (being a little overweight, and not as professionally groomed as some of his peers).
      4. He’s white (well, orange really, but definitely not black… and that’s all that counts)
      5. He doesn’t have a vagina (a birth defect shared by around half of us )

A ton of mud and shit has been flung at him, but you know what, none of it has stuck, none at all, so it’s probably all rubbish, and honestly, a lot of his ‘flaws’ make him seem more like a ‘real’ person, and in this era of ‘fake news’ and ‘fake celebrity’ a lot of people appreciate that.

Now, if you were to compare him to some other recent POTUS, not St. Obama the second Messiah (obviously), but say Bush Jr., or Big Willy Clinton, can anyone honestly say Trump is worse… anyone? Seriously? I can’t.

Bush Jr. had an IQ comparable to a jellyfish and was a vicious little warmonger to boot, he only got the position because of his Daddy and, along with his lickspittle Blair, stirred up the entire Middle East for nothing more than kicks. Whilst Wild Bill wasn’t only crooked as hell, but clearly had women issues in a league with a certain Harvey Weinstein rather than Trump. and yet no one at the Beeb ever said a bad word about either as far as I can recall? Why was that? Why the Trumpophobia?

The mass of the population now feel that they will be stigmatised if they suggest openly that Trump is ok. Many feel that their careers will nose-dive if they don’t follow the anti-Trump mantra.

The BBC and other media spend hours obsessing over a word or sentence uttered by President Trump. Not necessarily so precise in their own analysis. however. On World Service this am in discussion on why Trump/Putin should not occur Lyse Doucet brought in to tell us that Trump has never accepted that Russia interfered in the Presidential election. I cannot claim she is wrong, but I do know that Trump’s statements are always about “NO COLLUSION” between him & Russia, NOT that interference did not take place.
