Ms Fielding was of a migrant background, with a Romanian mother and Lithuanian father. The reference may or may not be relevant, but is the implicit subtext that we should think of all the great actresses will we miss out on when we leave the EU? Unfortunately, the BBC are unable to highlight any references to racism or anti-semitism, although they do prefer to de-emphasise the latter these days.
