Weekend Open Thread 15 September 2018

So predictably the BBC aids and abets the rabid Project Fear to stop Brexit. It is not hard to see the constant bias and we can be comforted that the Great British public see it too.

Yup, the left is policing the police when it comes to language they are permitted to use.

I take it they avoided ‘let’s get down to the nitty gritty ‘ or calling a ‘spade a spade ‘ or ‘blackboard ‘ .

Is there any evidence – any where – of anyone other than some leech in the race relations industry being offended ?

Would some one in the industry such as Trevor Phillips – a sensible man now – find an issue with such Anglo Saxon terminology .

It’s good that the Police have time and resources to follow such issues and obviously do not need more cash from the mainly white taxpayers …

This was one of the worst pieces of PC nonsense I have come across.. So I will be complaining to Met (not that it will do any good). This is a piece of old established English and means what the officer intended..there is not a shred of racism in it…unless the term white is now racist…
Do they not say Blackmail anymore? Is White wash now banned?
What a waste of police time and public money…no wonder there are not enough coppers – they are suspended…

Interview just now between a b-string BBC News Channel anchor and the often irascible Labour shadow chancellor John McDonnell who is on best behaviour in the City of London presenting his plan for… basically, a nationalisation of the financial sector.

This little vignette delivers some remarkable insights into BBC editorial thinking.

Our BBC gal sees little to worry over in McDonnell’s ambition to get – as he sugars the pill – ‘Government and Trades Unions involved’.

If anything our interviewer tends to chide the Labour man about whether his plans might go far enough to prevent another crash. I would tend to think with his full on socialism he’ll initiate one.

One wonders what horrors George Osborne’s Bank of England placeman Mark Carney would come up with, were he to do one his famous stress tests on McDonnell’s little red book plans?

No matter, what really tugs at the BBC’s heartstrings is Brexit and so that’s where over half the interview is pitched. One doubts our BBC presenter is being properly balanced and impartial when in reference to a second referendum she twice employs the politically charged phrase “People’s Vote”

Sadly old McDonnell didn’t give her the full Remain commitment she wanted so heyho, BBC, there’s always the Lib Dems.

There’s rarely a public spending project the BBC doesn’t endorse with presenters eagerly providing a welcome favourable platform for tax and spend proponents. However, when the rubber hits the road (as our colonial cousins might put it) and there are personal taxes to pay… then not so much.

The often whimsically outfitted better-heard-than-seen Paul Lewis turns up on BBC tv this morning to promote his wireless show Money Box. And the current cause for concern? Certain agency workers who thought they were legally tax avoiding by taking earnings as ‘tax-free loans’ have found to their dismay that there is indeed a bill to pay to the Revenue.

We know exactly who are meant to be the good guys in this tale of fiscal woe as among those involved there are described to be ‘some nurses and teachers’. Hurrah! Our Paul has been told a sob story by a ‘social worker’ and yes it was a woman. Double hurrah!

And the black hats in this story… their advisors, naturally. Boooo! Hisssss! Well, paying tax is always virtuous so if we admit the cash is due then HMRC should at least give people extra time to cough up.

I have a sneaking suspicion this issue of failed tax avoidance schemes is rather close to many BBC employees’ hearts. Lineker to name but one.

Comrade Lewis is a bit of a benefits addict these days and the report about public employees using a tax avoidance scheme was a bit rich – as it were – the chap from HMRC should have gone I really hard and said these punters were lucky not to be prosecuted yet alone pay their taxes like PAYE types .

‘Money box ‘ is one of those typical socialist bbc programmes which want people who borrow money at high rates to be let off – without being responsible for their own actions

They told a story of someone who was defrauded of 60k by sending it to a dodgy bank account without checking the details were correct . I sent a bigger sum recently and treble checked the bank details to make absolutely sure – al beeb doesn’t do personal responsibility much – always someone else to blame …

      • AsISeeIt says:

‘al beeb doesn’t do personal responsibility much’
Precisely. Money Box like every other BBC strand now has to bend to the set BBC cultural outlook.

Nobody is ever a responsible free agent – there are always outside forces and mitigating factors driving behaviour. It’s victim culture. You know that favourite phrase – ‘society’s most vulnerable’? Well you will never hear it clearly defined because at some point it might suit a lefty argument to have almost anyone lumped in.

Secondly there is no cause ever not worth pleading. Afterall the compensation cake or the public sector purse is regarded as infinitely expandable so as to cope with all and any demands. 5,000 Grenfell survivors – cool, give them each a new £1m apartment. Mutiply that by 50 Grenfells, 100 Grenfells, fine, go right ahead and rehouse the lot. Another 10 million people turn up to cash in on the free housing, yep, the more the merrier. It’s probably all good for the economy or some such. Tell you what, they’ll pay our pensions, just like you know they’re so keen to do.

No wonder the BBC never mentioned it this week.

Holly I think my “snowflake” son still takes the BBC seriously and would probably tell you these other stories are relatively unimportant when compared to more important news such as Sandy Toskvig getting paid less than Stephen Fry or National “Afro” day.
In fact I had an enlightening discussion with him the other night where I discovered that I am bigoted because of all of these “right wing” sites I go on.

Fortunately we still have the BBC to give us the truth. Maybe I should get a telly again so I too can find out what really is going on in the world.

I also found out that there is nothing really that wrong with Islam because he had two Muslim mates at University (I did try to point out that these were probably not really very representative of all these other Doctors and Engineers that seem to want to come here) and further proof of my bigoted nature (if more is needed) is that I admitted that I would have a bit of a problem communicating to a woman in a full burka where you cannot see any of the features.

This is not an unusual analogy in many quarters – because they happen to know a Muslim who’s a great guy, then its wrong to vilify the entire religion.

Well, I assume that the two Indian doctors who made and planted a bomb at Glasgow airport, whilst working at a nearby hospital in 2007, were also deemed to be ‘great guys’ by numbnut (and white) friends of theirs.

I appreciate that each generation has their own musical idols, but (and I’m strongly biased here) in the 60’s we had far more of a choice as far as female singers were concerned. I say this because I remember an occasion in the mid 90’s when the biggest names to topline a concert was Kylie, and Robbie Williams. At the time there was no-one else to compete, so if you didn’t care for either singer you were basically stuffed.

I had this conversation with a young doctor who was prepared to suffer the traffic log jams around Knebworth to hear his idol, and told him that I too went to big name concerts, but on one bill there would be several huge names i.e. Gene Pitney, Dusty Springfield, Billy J Kramer, PJ Proby, The Hollies, so for the price of our ticket we may not have had the glitz and fireworks of huge arenas, but we sure as hell had a greater choice of entertainment and musical styles.

I know this is not considered in the same category but why didn’t singers use lyrics such as in Roger and Hammerstien musicals of the 50’s and 60’s which gave some useful advice on how to live eg “When you’re 16 going on 17” from the Sound of Music and pointed out flaws in society eg “you’ve got to be taught ….to hate” from South Pacific.

Sopel, The Beauty, is busy tweeting about the President’s use of exclamation marks in his twitter feed…just wrong, totally wrong!!!

Sopel could be investigating Kerry’s collusion with Iran or the $100’s of millions in the Clinton Foundation’s bank account from Russia and Saudia Arabia, and why Clinton has a Saudi, and ‘proud Muslim’, as her top aide, or the links between the Democrats, the Russians and Trump Tower, or the fact that Cohen’s lawyer admitted having no evidence to link Trump to the meeting at Trump Tower.

Or maybe, the BBC were once very keen to report every word from Woodward, or ‘Bob’ as they know him, Sopel could ask ‘Bob’ if he had any evidence that Trump colluded with Russia.

    Somebody did ask that question…

Woodward: No Evidence Of Trump-Russia Collusion, I Searched For Two Years

‘ You’ve seen no collusion?” Hewitt asked again to confirm.

    “I have not,” Woodward affirmed.

Hewitt would once again ask Woodward about collusion at the conclusion of the interview.

“Very last question, Bob Woodward, I just want to confirm, at the end of two years of writing this book, this intensive effort, you saw no effort, you, personally, had no evidence of collusion or espionage by the president presented to you?” Hewitt asked.

    “That is correct,” Woodward said.’

Of course that doesn’t mean there is no evidence if there was such collusion but the BBC didn’t ask ‘Bob’ which is odd as it is the sort of major question you might ask the issue being so central to so much of the news today. Maybe they knew the answer and weren’t keen to publicise it. Surely the BBC wouldn’t suppress news that undermined their narrative or cast doubt upon it in anyway?!

They do however spread fake news…remember Sopel had his own little conspiracy theory that Trump wrote the NYT hatchet job on him?

‘Maybe I’ve been watching too much of the political thriller House of Cards on television, but I’ve started thinking conspiratorially about whether the article might have been penned by Trump himself as a means of justifying a crackdown on those around him, while demanding greater, unfettered power in decision-making.’

Sopel of course then tried to downplay that but he set the hares running and the fake news was off into the wilds of the internet, as he knew it would be .

Guess who has taken up the baton and is running with it? No less a person that the infamous Michael Moore himself….

‘Filmmaker Michael Moore is now floating the conspiracy theory that President Trump himself is the author of the recent anonymous New York Times op-ed detailing how a senior staffer was subverting Trump’s agenda.

“If you want me to make a wild guess, Trump wrote it or one of his minions wrote it,” Michael Moore said at an event for the premiere of his new movie Fahrenheit 11/9.

“He’s the master of distraction. He’s the King of the Misdirect. If we’ve ever known anything by now, it’s that he does things to get people to turn away and the line that is most identifiable in terms of what he wants the public to believe, the line that says, ‘don’t worry, adults are in the room.’ The idea is to get him to get us to calm down and look away from what he’s really doing,” Moore said.’

Good old BBC, breeding fake news.

While she is being subjected to questionable gay conversion therapies…. yada yada yada… please consider this for an Oscar, please….’

Our presenting duo Jane and Mark – with all the chemistry of a jowly ageing former Trotsyite teddy boy and a prissy buttoned-up BBC lesbian – have a little snigger together “This movie was in production during the Trump election”. The implication they suggest is of course that Trump is anti-gay. This is an example of Casual Leftism at best.

Because, on the basis that Donald Trump is the only President in history (including Obama) who has ever endorsed ‘gay marriage’ prior to his election, tell us, what exactly is he supposed to have done to upset the gays?

Can’t we ever get back to movies without all the fake politics? Not with critics like Kermode and presentation from the BBC we won’t.

The BBC loves to focus on “Black Lives Matter” and how the black population is oppressed and unfairly bullied by whitey.

Here’s a program on BBC2 called “American Justice” which follows the sentencing of two black teenagers who committed murder.

    https://www.radiotimes.com/tv-programme/e/fmsf6v/american-justice–s1-e3-reckoning/

One of them, Sharron “Tommy” Townsend, walked up to a white homeless man and shot him twice in the head for no reason whatsoever other than he wanted to.

The teenager was eventually sentenced to 30 years behind bars but instead of describing the crime as a horrific, senseless, racist murder, which it was, they talk about the poor boy receiving an “inhuman adult sentence” due to the “politics of elected prosecutors”.

The program makers try to evoke our sympathy for the murdering black thugs by saying that one of them faces decades in prison, as if it’s unfair that he should treated so harshly, and say that “the conversation he has in a custody suite with his heartbroken mother is hard to forget.”

If this was two white teenagers who randomly murdered two black men the whole focus would have been on racism and no sympathy would have been shown. Instead, because it’s black teenagers murdering whites we are asked to shed a tear for how horribly whitey is treating the poor little scoundrels.

Also interview with May completely unbiased – why can the BBc get away with including a sub title of “analysis” as a front for “opinion” which we don’t want, need or pay for through the BBC tax.

Finally a general gripe that Bbc use their various formats to advertise and promote their TV shows. I am sure Panorama will be totally supportive of the legal and democratic decision our nation made to leave. BBC will only be happy when they stoke the fire enough to cause civil disruption and fighting in the street. They would be creaming themselves at the prospect of reporting riots and clashes of protesters – the thought and prospect of violent clashes could be as much a motivation for the BBc as staying in.

You’d have no idea Corbyn said this a week ago…

“No deal is a bad deal – the Chequers plan is dead” – A feisty exchange between @jeremycorbyn and @theresa_may over #Brexit negotiations ends with the PM telling the Labour leader “he should be ashamed of himself”.

    — Sky News Politics (@SkyNewsPolitics) 5 September 2018

Listening to the BBC this morning and we hear a lot of sympathy for poor old May as she is irritated and frustrated, she just wants to get on with Brexit and instead we have these rotten Brexiteers creating havoc with mutterings of leadership challenges. Curious BBC presentation when they are so vocally anti-Brexit and anti-May. Perhaps they think that May has already stitched up a cosy softest of soft ‘Brexits’ and what we are getting from her now is mere theatrics for the crowd.

May is also appalled, the BBC tells us, at Boris’ ‘suicide vest’ comment about her Chequer’s deal….you would have no idea that this was because the deal was a completely unworkable farce unacceptable to anyone…not the ‘Brexiteers, not Corbyn, as stated explicitly many times, not Barnier. The BBC is not concerned with examining the content of Chequers more in the politics around it in the same way they refused to examine the contents of Clinton’s emails and focussed solely on who had hacked them…of course trying to blame the Russians and thus link it, spuriously, to Trump. The emails revealed enormous amounts of damaging information about the Democrats and Clinton…why would the BBC ignore that when they were more than happy to root through the Snowden material stolen from the US helping the Russians out enormously and yet not be so morally outraged at the source this time?

Then we have Sadiq Khan who the BBC reports wants a second vote…we were told ‘This is the people’s vote’ by the BBC presenter. No, no it’s not. ‘The People’s Vote’ is a campaign group set up to undemocratically undermine Brexit….the very opposite of the people’s vote, more ‘The enemy of the People.’ It’s as if the BBC were to call a general election ‘The vote for the Conservative party’ as if there were only one choice and the Tories weren’t one of the campaigning parties. Talk about bias and misrepresentation.

No mention that Labour’s position is that it will vote out all and any Brexit deals in order to force a general election…no…what we’re told is that Labour’s position is that ‘nothing is off the table’. Is there any more dishonest reporting than that? Labour putting party before national interest and the BBC not just not interested but covering up for them and pushing a complete lie.

    From the Mail…

‘Labour will block any Brexit deal based on Theresa May’s Chequers plan, Emily Thornberry has confirmed.

She said Labour would not agree to Mrs May’s deal and would not accept the prospect of a no-deal departure either as she claimed there will be a general election in the autumn or the spring.’

Wouldn’t it be good if the BBC would just give us the news without the constant filter of analysis from its many correspondents.
The Nick Robinson interview with Theresa May is certainly worth leading the TV news on, but political corr Chris Mason inserts his own “analysis” all over the main bits.
The PM calls Boris Johnson’s suicide vest metaphor “inappropriate” and not language she would use. Okay. We get that.
But Mason has to guide us by adding: ”look at the cold contempt in her eyes……”
Why does he even need to say it? Didn’t see cold contempt myself, but this is how the BBC overlays it’s own narrative on just about everything.
Mason is at it again on the BBC website, using the same observation in his analysis which is added to the main story.
Back on the TV news, a second corr is wheeled out. This time someone called Nick Eardley adds yet more “analysis”.
What it boiled down to was a few interesting seconds film of the PM but much longer devoted to the so called BBC experts.
Typical BBC telling is what to think and how to react.

The BBC filled the airwaves with dire warnings of house prices plunging and economic shocks due to a chaotic Brexit….

Brexit: Carney warns no-deal could see house prices plunge

‘The Bank of England’s governor has warned the cabinet that a chaotic no-deal Brexit could crash house prices and send another financial shock through the economy.

Mark Carney met senior ministers on Thursday to discuss the risks of a disorderly exit from the EU.

His worst-case scenario was that house prices could fall as much as 35% over three years, a source told the BBC.’

So the BBC admits in the last line there that this was a ‘worst-case scenario’…but only after alarmist headlines and first paragraph…..and the news bulletins all went with ‘Carney warns house prices plunge after Brexit’ without qualification. But…but….this was not a forecast by the Bank of England nor a warning, in fact it was a reassurance that banks and the economy could survive the worst, most extreme case scenario should it ever happen…and it is extremely, extremely unlikely to happen.

Didn’t stop the BBC presenting it as such a warning and indeed a forecast or prediction in so many of its reports even though they knew the truth as shown when Kamal Ahmed came on the Today programme yesterday and admitted that this was not a forecast, it was indeed merely stress-testing the system to the extreme….of course the BBC were having two bites of the cherry here…sensationalising, hyping and misrepresenting Carney’s words [though he knew this would happen as a Remainer…relying on fellow Remainers in Cabinet to leak the ‘sensational’ news] and then when ‘explaining’ it Ahmed manages to slip in ‘Doomsday scenario’ several times and still associate Brexit with armageddon and disaster.

All of which might make you wonder how Nick Robinson writing in the Sunday Times with a easy-going friendly spin for May can repeat the lie….‘Mark Carney was smuggled into the back[of No10] to issue his warning about house prices falling by a third in the event of a no-deal’.

That makes two lies…that this was a ‘warning’ and that it was the inevitable outcome of a ‘no-deal’ rather than of the most extreme outcome possible.

No surprise that Robinson’s article is placed amongst the grand spread that the fanatical Remainer Sunday Times gives over to May and her plans in a sympathetic write-up.

Note also that the Sunday Times reports that the budget-strapped police can suddenly recruit another 270 officers in Kent to cope with the ‘civil war’ that is apparently likely to occur after Brexit happens and Kent turns into a lorry park filled with rotting food and swarms of illegal immigrants on the run as the borders and security collapses completely without EU assistance. Could just run a proper border with checks and all that…too much to ask? Got documents? No? F**k off then. Will co-operation with police and security services across Europe end after Brexit? No of course not…it’s in their own interest to continue with data swapping….it’s a two way thing, they need to know where our criminals are and where their own criminals are as well as any that are imported from around the world. Just more scare-mongering.

What on earth is happening to this nations law enforcement when two people who represent the leadership of a registered Political Party have been sentenced to a stay in HMPrisons for ‘Hate Speech’, in fact this organisation was protesting at the disgusting behaviour of certain leaders of the Muslim fraternity who themselves were making very public threats against the United Kingdom. Shortly an Iman called Chudrey a leader of such traitorism is to be released from serving a short prison sentance, yet our own people who wanted to bring the dangerous and violence of this man Chaudrey to public notice have themselves been condemmed and have been continuosly and agressively dealt with by the Police force-now one might add appearing more like a Soviet Police Force supressing any anti-Muslim feeling no matter their infringement of our laws. The BBC either ridicule this Political Party ( of which I am not a member as it happens) and or support the Police Forces actions seemingly unreservedly. This action by the Police is Politically ochestrated as dictated by the EU or those that control the EU and is running its claws across other countries in the same heavy handed way. You’ve got to love Matthew Parris. He may be a fanatical, zealous, even demented Remoaner but he’s entertaining in the same way that those drunken hobos roam the streets shouting at the world are.

Today he is insisting that the will of the people does not exist…in relation to Brexit of course. Don’t think this is a personal bee in his own bonnet, oh no, it’s all based on facts, deep and serious cogitation and ethical and philosophical stress-testing of the conceptual issues.

Must ‘the will of the people’ always be respected? he asks.

However, as said…it’s not his own petty thoughts on the matter that concern him, it’s a deeper truth he seeks and a reality that must be discovered….

‘Don’t suppose this is just Parris on his hobby-horse again, beginning a train of reasoning whose conclusion is that we should ignore the results of the Brexit referendum because Parris doesn’t like them. I have in fact reached no conclusion. ‘

Hmmm…really? It’s exactly that. Parris over the last two years has excised his Brexit demons as he filled the pages of the Spectator with his ranting rambles about the horrors and injustices of Brexit and far from having reached no conclusions has clearly decided the Deplorables don’t deserve to vote and that, after spending 30 years trying to persuade us that there is no such thing as ‘The Will of the People’, you must believe that that is his true position even as he claims he has no position and is merely taking a disinterested academic interest in the issue….from 2010….

The Will of the People does not exist.

‘My submission is this: that the Will Of The People (WOTP) does not exist. There is no such thing. The WOTP is a fiction, a mirage, a conceptual void, a construction as fanciful as the creation of ploughs, scorpions and huntsmen out of the random dots of stars in the night sky. ‘

In other words, and previous articles back by him back this up, he doesn’t believe in Democracy and thinks that some highly educated technocracy should make decisions for us based on the idea that we just can’ t possibly be trusted with complex subjects.

He suggest that the ‘WOTP’ can only exist if it is unanimous…which kind of dismisses democracy and the whole political system….no general election can thus be legitimate as it certainly will not represent 100% of views….

‘Taken literally and mathematically, the WOTP only ever exists when the people are virtually unanimous. ‘

The reality is that he is trying to construct an argument against the Brexit referendum result on the grounds that 100% of people didn’t vote for it and thus we must compromise and soften Brexit to accomodate the Remoaners’ demands…kind of difficult when the vote was to stay or leave the EU and everyone knew that meant out of the single market and customs union and the end of free movement.

He presents his argument as if it were earth-shattering wisdom…

‘Confront what, once confronted, is the obvious: that different voters want different things with differing degrees of intensity; some can be reconciled; some are susceptible to compromise; some involve the complete overruling of a minority. Turning this subtle miscellany into structures of government that are to some degree responsive to the electorate yet capable of producing a decisive government (and even, where necessary, a temporarily unpopular government) requires us all to come down from our high horses of democratic absolutism.

It’s a mess. There are no absolutes. This is the beginning of constitutional wisdom.’

Who knew eh? Thank God he has the courage to confront such issues and speak out on our behalf. Vote for Parris….er…so that his version of a technocratic benevolent vote free utopia can come into being. Democracy is just a bus you ride until you get to your destination…such as a hardline Muslim Caliphate…wonder which dictator said that.

However think of the logic, it actually would force him to accept Brexit……democracy means some people have to accept a vote and just get on with it in order to produce a decisive government or in this case decisive outcome. What we’ve got now is the opposite as May tries to accomodate Remoaner demands and has softened Brexit so that it is all but non-existent. Hardly a decisive outcome, it is one that pleases no-one and is in fact the worst of all possible worlds, possibly worse than a no-deal as the EU will have the whip-hand or maybe its hand on the trigger of the ‘suicide vest’ May has wrapped around Britain.

WUWT also exposing the Washington Post’s false reporting on the hurricane in the US….

‘The Washington Post’s Slander on Hurricanes and Climate Change

The Washington Post editorial board has accused President Trump of being “complicit” in Hurricane Florence, because “he plays down humans’ role in increasing the risks” of “extreme weather,” and “he continues to dismantle efforts to address those risks.” Such weather, they say, is fueled by manmade global warming that creates “unusually warm ocean water” that worsens hurricanes. The board finishes by declaring that Trump and Republicans are guilty of “reality denial” on this issue. However, their editorial is the antithesis of reality.

Trump hasn’t been in office nearly long enough for his policies to alter the earth’s greenhouse gas levels. In fact, his plan to repeal Obama’s “landmark“ climate change regulation has not yet been implemented.

Furthermore, Charles McConnell, a former assistant secretary of energy under Obama and the director of Rice University’s Energy and Environment Initiative, estimated that this regulation would decrease global temperature by only 0.01 degree Celsius by 2030. Thus, to blame Trump for Hurricane Florence or any other hurricane in the past or future is absurd.

More importantly, the Post’s narrative is at odds with the scientific facts of the matter. These show that from as far back in time as reliable data extends:

    · global hurricane frequency, hurricane intensity, hurricane duration, and general rainfall trends have been level.’

\\ As he was a Ghanaian citizen and had never sought British citizenship despite having lived in the United Kingdom since 1991, he was subject to the British Home Office’s policy of deporting any foreign national who has been given a sentence of more than four years. //

even worse “He left Ghana at 4. Arrived in England at 12.”
“He spent his early years in Israel, Syria and Iraq,[4] before moving to the United Kingdom in 1991.”
By failing to give us that context, Maajid is doing #FakeNews

“UK engineers have long had expertise in space radar but their technology has previously always gone on broader missions, such as those for the European Space Agency. NovaSAR, which has the distinctive shape of a cheese-grater, is uniquely British, however.

Like the rest of ’em, – Bonnie Greer, Yasmin Alibaba Brown, et al, Nawaz and his ilk cant wait to get their arses into the UK by whatever means going, because ‘they want a better life’, and then once they’ve leeched everything they can, they cant wait to spout their bile for this country , OR they end up in positions of power, running the place.

We gave the corner shops away to the sub-continent community 40 odd years ago, which spawned a generation that would head up huge conglomerates, and now we have to suffer the indignities of listening to aliens (and I really don’t care if they were born here, they still have foreign heritage) tell us what my country should / should not be doing.

If Nawaz loves to be so vocal, let him piss off back to Pakistan, and see how vocal he’s allowed to be there – or better still he could help Khan run the country !

Its time this nation kicked Al Beeb and its Remainers into touch for good.
We voted out in the biggest democratic vote in our history. The government should now be formed as it was during the Second World War, a Conservative-led coalition government of Brexiteers. We all know who should sit in that ‘war’ cabinet.

If the EU gets its usual way by turning us over for a phoney ‘second vote’, it will be the end of democracy not only in the UK but in the EU. The Commissioners will become a dictatorship knowing that they brought the ‘Cradle of Democracy’ to its knees.
That’s what the ‘snowflakes’ do not realise.

“Unemployment is at a 43-year low, business investment is up year on year, wages are rising at their fastest rate for three years and the proportion of young people not in work or education is down by a third.”

What a shame I had to read that in the Rod Liddle column in the Sunday Times instead of hearing it on the world class, globally respected news channel known as the BBC.
