I expect the BBC to put mr Rees Mogg on TV more now that he has shown himself to be a windbag politician like the rest – one minute saying no need to pay the €39 000 000 000 000 bribe now saying we can pay monthly during the 2 year exit process .

For those wanting Blighty to actually leave the ReichEU – our only hope seems to be the DUP- I think it would take more that money to bribe them this time . Personally I d like all the pain delivered soon – an inevitable General Election and god knows what comes after that

First, congratulations to Jake. Has the BBC mentioned the 191 journalists currently jailed in Turkey? Journalists arrested after the “coup” was 245 but only 191 are still rotting in prison. With Turkish prisons reputation, it must be assumed some of them are already deceased. It’s fascinating that the worlds press only cares about one journalist and all the rest can go hang and probably will. I can understand the problem as they would have to type “arrested Turish Journalists” on a google search to get the full list including their arrest dates and what prisons thay are currently in. Searches are difficult if you don’t want to find something.

Three things I’d like to see in place prior to the next general election:
        – the revised constituency boundary changes
        – the reduction of the number of MPs
        – deselection of the traitors such as Mrs May, Soubry, Thornbury, Messrs Starmer, Clarke and the rest and the Conservative party candidate selection to be decided at local constituency level, not by their Central office.

Why do the left seem to get all their way and if they don’t they riot or shout abuse at the rest of us. The far left bbc contribute to this by constantly running news articles that are clearly biased or they delibretely leave some news out if they think it shows the right perspective as actually a good thing which often it is actually.

As I was wandering the web I came across a well written article discussing how the liberal left have no tolerance for anyone who doesn’t agree with them. That is despite the left preaching to us all that we have to tolerate all the things we don’t like such as the Muslim invasion of Europe and our useless prime minister. The left and BBC are complete hypocrites. If you got a few mins it’s worth a read https://medium.com/@greenboggart/how-can-the-left-talk-of-equality-when-they-don-t-tolerate-diversity-of-opinion-18edca1285dc

Fair article but the question asked about the behaviour of The Far Left is easily answered – they believe they are on the Highest Moral Ground -all must comply . Non compliance means the person lacks morality and must be educated . There is the role of the BBC . They see that original Reithian mission statement – can’t remember the words – to still be intact .
The sad thing is that people who know better -such as those who write here – are in a minority – and the kidults don’t know any better .

I keep trying to work out where all this is going but can’t get there – is it just the new normal ?

One bit the article did get wrong was that it says the EU has only recently gone for closer union – it was there from day one lurking like a monster which has grown as the number of victim member states has grown .

Unless braver countries than ours stops it it is the US of Europe in 10 years .

They way it is going is worrying. Us on the right of centre are tolerating more and more of what we don’t like while the left are getting more and more of what they want. It won’t end well.

BBC article today shows how liberal and biased they are by keeping high on their news page about macron saying nationalism is a bad thing! Since when is it a bad thing to be proud of your country? If we weren’t nationalistic in the two wars we would all be speaking German now. Pathetic BBC

This Remembrance Sunday, hundred years after the Armistice, the great and the good gathered at the High Cathedrals of our land, sombre in mood, to the debt we all owed

“For your Tomorrow, we gave our Today”, read the vicar from the pulpit. Somberly all nodded.

Yet, if those men had realised, that they were giving their “todays” for politicians of today, to give our “tomorrows” for Sharia in Europe and Britain , they would not have bothered.

“Tomorrow” has now arrived. Lets hope the government heeds the plea of Asia Bibi and family, and grant them asylum, without caving to threats of murderous violence.

The left don’t ever listen to both sides and always think they are right. At least now in Europe there are some hopes of leaders who actually put their nation first. Such as in Italy and Eastern European group. The left will loose, it’s a matter of time

So fat the left has had a clewar run in Britain, as the BBC is unchecked in lefty propaganda. But things are changing. In America, the the lefts propaganda machines are being harried by Pres Trump, with Fox helping.

In Eastern Europe, the left is shunned, as their ideology led to the Gulag and worse. In Budapest they have a permanent exhibition of the evil of the left. Rightly, it mirrors the evil of the Holocaust.

Post WWII, the left got way being examined, as all efforts were put in debunking Nazism. But Nazism parents are Marx and Marxism. Pres Trump has started the job, and that is why the left, Democrats, Labour etal, are squealing.

The media cannot be relied on reporting on Pres Trump. Its quite likely that the Security detail, or the president’s chief of staff advised the president against the visit. It would be foolish for the president to ignore such advice. Particularly in a country such as France, where a low level civil war is in progress.

Can anyone imagine the consequences if “something” had happened. Of course the left would have been delighted , crowed all the way. But there are consequences, and the left has shown time and time again, while supporting Hitler, Stalin, Mao and even the ayatollah, and then found that the revolution eats its children. France, as in WW1 and 2, would pay dearly. Its paying anyway.

The reason President Trump didn’t attend the ceremony must have been serious because he likes to be at public events; his tireless campaigning during the mid-term elections is testimony to that. But he also knows when not to be the main story; if he had gone to the event and something bad happened it would have overwhelmed the news coverage of the memorial services. That’s the statesmanlike behaviour that President Trump shows and why he’ll be remembered by history as one of the good guys.

What is not well known is that Jihad can become legal against a nation when that nation prevents the expansion of Islam. As Western European nations have no such policy, Jihad has to be justified on the basis of self-defence.

Pres Trump though has directed that no persons from seven predominantly nations can be allowed to enter America. This means that any Muslim can attempt to murder Pres Trump, with Islamic right and justification on his side.

As France is in a state of war at the moment ( literally so), Pres Trump’s life is in danger in France. This means that his security will not allow Pres Trump to go on outings which have been made public. That is why I believe his outings make no sense whatever. They are unpredictable. Deliberately so.

What about in America. Pres Trump is safe from Jihadi attacks in America, for any such act against him would lead to the extinction of Islam in America. Any attempt on his life in Muslim nations, by the same measure, carries the risk of the annihilation of that nation. The safety of Islam and its growth comes first.

Therefore I believe Pres Trump’s life is in greatest danger when he is in non-Muslim nations outside America. Britain is a high risk country for Pres Trump.

Trump cannot expect protection in Europe. Only a couple of weeks ago the leader of an Austrian (far far far right) party was unable to speak at the Oxford Union – one of our most prestigious debating chambers – because of lack of security. France is being invaded with a predicted surrender to forces hostile to Trump. There would be no security. Trump was wise to stay away and should have announced that Macron needs to re-conquer his own capital before expecting a US Presient to attend events in his shithole.

              Link to Austrian politicians withdrawal

                Good points.

Now why would Macron and the EU, want an independent EU defence force capable of deterring Russia, China and the USA?

The only scenario is if France along with Germany are taken over by Islam. Then the nuclear missiles of France and the industrial power of Germany are available to the caliphate.

No way will Russia, China and the USA will allow a nuclear armed Islamic EU . Include Israel in that alliance.

And all this with a background of Tucker having his house attacked, and daughter verbally abused in public. They took down Bill O’Reilly, tried with Hannity, now it’s Tucker’s turn. These hypocrites s, including the conservatives in the UK, have colluded in putting Europe in far greater danger then if we had lost to the Nazis. Europe is going to submit to Sharia, and the only one standing against that catastrophe is Pres Trump.

So here they are, virtue signalling of their loyalty to Western civilisation, having sold out and betrayed Western civilisation to Islam. And where were they while tens of thousands of young girls , probably the great grand daughters of fallen soldiers, were being mass gang raped in Europe and Britain for decades – no where to be seen.

At least Pres Trump is fighting for Western civilisation, unlike the traItors who virtue signal by the size of their poppies.

Even experienced BBC reporters are commentating on the unpredictable nature of the president’s itinerary, and putting it down to Pres Trump’s insanity – which fits in with their bias and derangement. I believe this is not Pres Trump’s doing. Besides he does not have the time to think up such things.

Its far more likely that Pres Trump’s itinerary is dictated by his security. When his security requests something, its not a request but an order that cannot be refused. The sheer unpredictability is in itself an indication that it is planned. Which means that the French and US security services have information they are not revealing.

  4. Roland Deschain says:

Most will probably remember the story the BBC put out at the start of the month headlined Trump: Third of Americans see media as ‘enemy of the people’. The problem with this is Trump said no such thing.

As the article itself states near the end, what he actually said was “And that’s why thirty-three percent of the people in this country believe the fake news is in fact, and I hate to say this, in fact the enemy of the people.” [my emphasis]

I made a complaint to the BBC but, having been made aware that others who have complained have been told the headline is not misleading, expect little. What I have been surprised about is that I have not yet received the expected raspberry already delivered to others. In fact I have now been told I may not receive a reply within the normal two week limit because “it has been referred to the relevant people”. With a cheeky demand that I not contact them in the meantime.

Two questions are begged. First, what is the normal process of dealing with complaints if not initially referred to the relevant people? Referral to the department of dismissive blowbacks? I can’t answer that one. Second, what is special about my complaint that it hasn’t yet received the dismissive blowback? I can only think of one thing. Anticipating the likely default response, in my complaint I noted that one could only claim the headline not to be misleading if fake news and the media were one and the same. Perhaps they are struggling with claiming one whilst not admitting to the other.

I shall keep the site informed of progress.

One more thing on the beeb’s “Forgotten Muslim soldiers of World War One ‘silence’ far right”, where we hear from east London schoolgirl Daleesha Naz who learned that “400,000 Muslims fought in the British Indian army and it has made me feel closer and more connected to British history.”

Now I could be wrong, but I’d put that quote firmly in the category of “things 14 year-old girls never say without a heavy prompt from someone behind the scenes.” Sure enough, it’s been cribbed from ‘Remember Together’ — an initiative from British Future and the Royal British Legion. Tagline: “Remembrance belongs to all of us.” (In fact, this follows the remarkably similar looking 2013 campaign: “Do Mention The War”.)

British Future call themselves “an independent, non-partisan thinktank seeking to involve people in an open conversation, which addresses people’s hopes and fears about identity and integration, migration and opportunity…” Well sure, if your idea of open conversation is to exclusively feature Muslims. Wide-ranging mission statements are laughably deceptive. Their 7min showreel focuses on:

    – Refugee Jubilee Street Party
    – #WeAreAllEngland campaign (endorsed by the Blackburn-based Abu Hanifah Foundation)
    – Poppy hijab
    – AJ Faizy Week (an Afghan refugee)
    – Political Engagement: Why Enoch Was Wrong
    – A Very English Islam
    – And… er… and lots of pro-EU messaging

I recommend watching the videos below to see what this country’s future looks like. To call it inclusive is utterly fraudulent. No other religious/ideological group features. “Independent, non-partisan and engaging in open conversations about Britain’s future” — just so long as it’s about Muslims, Islam and Muslims. And Islam.

    Sounds just like the BBC.

Guest who, I have an idea. As we strive to keep the site relatively clean, let’s rather link to foul content (if it is really necessary) with a warning attached so people can decide for themselves whether or not to go there – and not simply plonk it on this site.

The fact that it’s copied and pasted in from another source obviously doesn’t lessen the impact of foul language on those who object to it.

Not arbitrary. I put the comment at the (then) end of the thread because I thought it might get lost as a reply to you way up where your post appeared.

A warning is obviously no good if the offending article appears in all its glory on the thread rather than as a url.

I’m indebted to Roland Deschain below for pointing out that a Twitter link will appear as is. I don’t use Twitter and have little idea of how it works.

Perhaps you can find another way to direct readers to foul-language tweets – one that is one step removed from seeing the tweets here.

I don’t enjoy this kind of editing and it distracts me from the main purpose here – to challenge and expose the BBC as it goes from bad to worse.

Two events of the last week fill me with horror. We see the US mid terms giving a distinct up tick to the fortunes of the Dems and the British government refusing to offer asylum to a persecuted Christian woman because they are scared of the reaction of Muslim in the UK . This latter decision was met with little protest from the MSM and virtual total silence from the usual protest groups who would fill the airwaves with their demented howling if she hadn’t been a Christian.
I have followed politics in the US since the 2016 election. The MSM is extremist in its hatred of Trump and uses distortion, suppression and lying on a daily basis. It’s on a par with the BBC. Although increasing numbers of Americans distrust their own media there are still millions who are influenced by this ultra Globalist media and were conned into voting against their own best interests. The MSM is still a power in the land and if alternative sources of news continue to be shut down by the Globalist Silicon Valley they will remain so. This is perhaps the biggest threat to democracy that there has ever been because it could lead to worldwide Globalist control of the news agenda and abolition of any other sources of news.
As to our own Government , I think that their performance over this poor woman tells us exactly how far the Muslim invasion has already undermined our country. Things will only get worse and rapidly so as their numbers grow. We are so far down the road to an Islamic Britain that there is no longer any prospect of avoiding this awful calamity . I am genuinely sad for young people , particularly girls, who will see the world closing in on them . These youngsters may in part the authors of their own misfortune , but they have been conned into this by an unholy alliance of cynical Global capitalists and the dangerous Intenational leftists.

        What drives fake news?

Fake news is a much-discussed subject, but what ecourages its spread? The BBC’s carried out research in India, which suggests a rise in nationalism is causing people to disseminate it using their mobile phones. Also as part of our Beyond Fake News series, we look at what constitutes fake news and how you can spot it.

Nice comfortable cosy BBC TV platform handed to Remainer and social liberal tax & spend Conservative-in-name-only Justine Greening this morning for her to play the Second Referendum Remainer three card trick on the audience. The rules of which seem to be win, lose or draw, the UK stays in – much to the relief of the Brussels budget setters and the German tax payer!

What colour skin does this evil marriage wrecking stripper have? Yep, she is white.

‘How I discovered my husband’s sex obsession’

I was ashamed of what had happened. I wondered what people would think when I told them, what they’d think of my husband, what they’d think of me. I assumed people would judge our marriage and think it was a sham. I also felt people would think I hadn’t been good enough for him, not pretty enough, not sexy enough.

For a textbook illustration of MSM Trump Derangement Syndrome you couldn’t do much better this morning than Nick Ferrari on LBC.

He was harping on about Trump’s non-appearance at the US war cemetery. Many callers pointed out that the decision on flying a military helicopter wouldn’t be the President’s. Ferrari just carried on as if they hadn’t said a thing. It didn’t fit into his world therefore didn’t exist.

It’s actually becoming worrying how the media as a pack will grab on to a narrative and not let go even in the face of reality.

There used to be different voices in the media. Now there is just a hive mind. Which large swathes of the population simply do not trust.

When you listen to remoaners banging on with their anti Brexit catchphrases (like, “nobody knew what they were voting for”) do you think their newspeak could be used in everyday language.
When they leave home in the morning to go do work do they ‘Crash out’ (of their front door)
If they decide to change Banks (EU) from one they’ve been with for the last 40 years, (getting 0.1% interest) and go to look at the many other banks offering much better rates (WTO) do they ‘Go over the cliff’ or maybe ‘Crash out over a cliff’
They are a pathetic lot really.

Earlier comments are wondering why us Leavers are not making much noise and letting the remoaners have everything their way.
I’m reminded of the Kipling poem Beginnings which I’ve seen here before. It’s the one with the line ‘When the English begin to hate’
I think that’s where we are heading.
May, the remainer, with her remainer Cabinet in a remainer government supported by the remainer media and lots of rich landowners are getting all their own way at this moment where the EU gets everything it asks for, Banks it, then comes back for more which May willingly gives away.
Whether it’s Fish, single market, customs union, CAP, ECJ, immigration and everything else, May has given them everything, plus £39 billion and continuing to pay yearly payments for a crap (sorry Fedup) deal which nobody is happy with except May and Oily.

It can only be a matter of time before ‘we begin to hate’

I don’t feel any hate. I would simply like to see May and her Remainer cabinet go, as they are failures. Very dishonest failures. That is a dispassionate assessment made in the head, not the heart.
There is no need for a General election: Labour didn’t have a General election when they decided Blair needed replacing with Brown. They would simply sell us out with even more duplicity and we would probably end up with full membership of the EU, minus the right to vote or decide on anything. The Conservative Party needs to elect a new leader, who then elects a new cabinet.
If all that means no ‘deal’, that’s fine with me too.
We have a Brexit mess because dishonest, double-dealing politicians have been playing a dangerous game of deception– against their own country.
I suspect the ‘negotiations’ were theater all along; the louder the proclamations that Brexit was Brexit, and would be implemented, the more we knew they were lying.
I would have preferred UKIP to be dealing with the negotiations, as the only genuine leavers. Since that-alas-is not possible, the Conservative Party need to sort themselves out, and quickly.
The basis for this has to be the departure of May. That is the only thing I would say, is NOT up for negotiation.

True Too – in the spirit of polite exchange I respond here, as in addition to a few other points you have made (possibly inadvertently), replying to someone elsewhere can be confusing to them and others. Anyone seeking to find out what I am now talking about needs to backtrack until they find what you wrote.

I referenced a piece by a BBC luvvie evidently proud of the ‘cut through to da yoof’ of a potty mouth. It is unnecessary and reflects badly upon them. However, ‘sticks and stones’, etc. That the BBC seems cool with those they pay doing this, is between them, their employee and those who uniquely fund it all.

Equally anyone on this site resorting to crudity can weather what comes their way, in terms of the opinion of others or, censure by the site owner(s) and designated editor(s).

Life is seldom black and white, so much is in shades of grey. Hence ‘grey’ areas, and ‘conventions’ rather than hard and fast rules. If Jeremy Corbyn wants to stand at the Cenotaph in a mankini he is free to do so. In the buff, likely less so. Equally the use of bad language. If the state broadcaster tolerates it everywhere, it is hard to see how a private online site can be held accountable, though of course establishment hypocrisy is now the rule (ironically) vs. exception.

I recall a while ago several senior BBC editors appeared to have problems with the name of the (then) health secretary though, oddly, not that of a Labour colleague in the House across the dispatch box. It was discussed and rightly mocked here, and the word was used. A lot. However I coined the term to describe it I use to this day: NaughtieMarr; especially when another BBC employee falls victim to the same temporary, selective outbreak of Tourettes.

I sympathise with your ideals, but regret to say that on any forum discussing news and politics, staying chaste in pointing out rampant abuses in word and deed is frankly impossible. Sometimes to judge the offence, the jury needs to be presented with the evidence.

Now FE2 has excised what I shared, who now beyond early posters has a clue what is going on, and what Tony Robinson felt comfortable posting in public forum?

I do not condone using customarily accepted obscenities as part of everyday communication, even if conveying extreme frustration, but getting Victorian on actual substantiated examples is a chaste move too far, especially when inviting thoughts and debate on the topics the BBC too often inspires.

With this in mind, with all due warning to not look further (if you have, you have sought offence first and I can help no further), I attach a recent tweet from Tucker Carlson, about the latest in events taking place from certain quarters in the USA that the BBC either seeks to avoid, if not ignore or condone. I think it needs seeing, and sharing.

If because of it this post here is removed, so be it. But it will be a pity, and perhaps send a worse message to those who seek to capitalise on flawed systems poorly overseen by those they wish to silence. Ironically.

And the recent flouncer will have the satisfaction of knowing theirs was a job well done.

    David Lammy
    Profile

Tottenham MP David Lammy has been leading the parliamentary charge for the Windrush generation as they fight for their residency rights. Mark Coles charts the life and career of one of parliament’s most formidable campaigners.

Born in North London to Guyanese parents, Lammy grew up in Tottenham but moved to Peterborough aged 11 after winning a council scholarship to the city’s cathedral boarding school. He went on to study law in London and at Harvard. Then, after a brief spell as a barrister, he became MP for his home borough of Tottenham at the age of just 27. His political career soon took off, with Tony Blair making him a minister in the New Labour government and Lammy was quickly hailed as ‘the Black Blair’ or ‘Britain’s Obama’. But not everything went smoothly for the junior minister.

Since Labour went into opposition, Lammy has spent his time on the back benches. There, he’s found his political voice and passion as a defender of those he feels have been failed by the system – from the Grenfell fire victims, to working-class young people struggling to get into top universities, and now the Windrush immigrants. Alastair Campbell calls him “a good old-fashioned class warrior, in the best possible sense”.

Mark Coles meets some of the people who know Lammy best – from childhood friends, former teachers and his beloved ‘Aunty May’ who firmly believes that, one day, her godson will be Britain’s first black Prime Minister.

Al beeb must be torn reporting of the Lord Lester issue – there we have a lawyer who has made his living on ‘ human ££££££ rights ‘ now being suspended from the Lords for ….. sexual something or other .
Priceless . I wonder what treatment a Tory Peer would have got from the BBC?

Reference G’s post above at 3.41
Was being driven in the Eastern Cape some months ago in order to visit a Game Reserve.
On the way back to our accommodation, we passed a township with a grotty gravel road leading up to it.
‘That is my community’ said our friendly driver.
‘ you’d think, after 25 years, that the ANC could give you a bit of Tarmac’ we said.

I don’t know whether the penny dropped but I think there was a pregnant pause. This little vignette re-inforced my view that the ANC need to keep the poor blacks poor, yet persuade them that the blame lies with the old white community.

Here and there, among aspirational blacks, the deceit is recognised. But it’s a slow process.

German Green Party chief speaks up about immigration problems
‘oh yes its a problem but we can get them to disperse to the countryside, not the cities’
I hear some backpedaling “Oh what he meant was…”

Fat chance. These immigrants don’t DO countryside – they seek urban localities. That’s why I like living where, and as I do, in France Profonde.
