BBC DJ’s Wimmin’s online mag leaves wimmen unpaid
In 2015 Lauren Laverne and her Cosmo mate started “The Pool”
After 4 years it’s been liquidated after racking up £4.6m losses for investors over 4 years
\\ freelancers who have found themselves thousands of pounds out of pocket after its collapse//
\\ journalist Laura Craik vented her anger at a missing £7,250//
Seems the corp was illegally trading when effectively insolvent.
Apparently Laverne had already resigned in August ..that’s almost worse.. cos means she knew something was up.

\\ Assessing the figures, a leading accountant said: “This company was a disaster from start to finish. There seems to have been no profit-making business model and trading was reckless. //
Court date Feb 13 for winding up order

Yeh I’d never heard of “The Pool” either

Nottingham : Melanie Shaw news : ” she is being sentenced for on February 11.”
\\ Obviously, even in the event that Melanie served the full term of her two-year sentence from January 11, 2017, she would be due for release in January 2019.
However, she has been remanded in custody in connection with the arson offences which she is being sentenced for on February 11.//

\\ When she was 16 she was sent to Beechwood children’s home in Mapperley. She stayed there for around a year.//
\\ No charges have been brought against anyone who she alleged had assaulted her at Beechwood. And she has said she has a fear that she is going to be found dead//

I remember a few months back something about someone pretending to be a tranny infiltrating the BBC and producing undercover footage & taped conversations of Colin Tregear, the Complaints Director at the BBC’s Editorial Complaints Unit. But I thought they said that it was for a book about the BBC.

    Last week’s Moral Maze
Melanie got one Remainer MP Emma Reynolds
..asked to consider a hypothetical reversed situation where a Brexit referendum voted Remain would she think it OK of MPs to vote FOR Brexit cos of their conscience
..she just refused to answer “I can’t get my head around those hypotheticals”
.. it should have been easy ..what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander

Likewise Mel got in that Cameron said “this is your vote, there will be no referendum”
Two MPs tried to assert that cos Cameron had left , the rules had changed.

“Some argue that the lost revenue will force cuts in the variety and quality of programming, and point out that many older people are wealthy and do not require subsidy”

well one its theoretical lost income

two I for one dont think that many/most/a lot of pensioners are WEALTHY

three why not make it voluntary for the over 75’s , after all it world leading and most trusted and brilliant and obviously well worth it to rich over 75s

A quick peep at Al Beeb’s front page this evening reminds me of the contents of the “Woman’s Weekley” magazine.
Have they taken over Al Beeb or is it being run by a special team of misandrists?

So Germany and France have signed up and reaffirmed their support for the EU.
Well, what was the EU for anyhow? A German – French setup to control Europe with striking similarities to the Vichy – Nazi agreement.
