FakeNews? FalseNews? From the BBC? !!!!! ?

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-47371431

Could be. Especially if you scan or read down to the end of the paragraph under the lovely Getty pic of sleeping twins.

    Ooops!

Maybe an ‘I’m sorry, I’ll retitle that again.’ moment? If so, sack Purnell.

      @Up2snuff .. I don’t see an error

Non-identical twins are more common in some families. Older mothers are also more likely to have non-identical twins because they are more likely to release more than one egg during ovulation.

Identical twins do not run in families.

Infertility treatment – IVF – can increase the chance of twins, as more than one embryo may be put into the womb.

According to the Twins and Multiple Births Association (Tamba), about 12,000 twin births occur each year in the UK.

Have the BBC changed the heading, Stew? I note that it is different on the News Page of the web-site.

The article WAS headed ‘Semi-identical twins identified for only the second time.’ which conflicts with ‘Non-identical twins are more common in some families.’

        UPDATE
Just checked and got a screen grab. No, the title remains the same for the article itself.

Em Non-Identical twin and Semi-identical are not the same thing
          3 categories
#1 Identical twins – come from same egg which split into 2
#2 Non-Identical twins : born at same time come from 2 DIFFERENT eggs
#3 Semi-identical twins : Only the mother DNA same … “the egg is thought to have been fertilised simultaneously by two sperm before it divided.”

          • Up2snuff says:

Unless you look at the eggs, Stew, you never know. All you see is the non-identical twin!

The article text – paragraph I identified – contradicted the title on the page although the title on the News Page is OK.

It’s another bit of FalseNews from the BBC. Nothing to see here, move along now …….

R4 – Is it just me or are you fed up with the disproportionate and constant steam of programmes on Islam, Muslims, Asylum seekers and LGBTQZYXD? I am interested in many things but this narrative is so bias and one sided…never do they discuss the negatives of these issues – unless talking about white men or Christians..
Eventually R4 will have the listening figures they want..very very low ones…having alienated the vast majority of them.

TOADY Watch #1/2 šŸ˜‰ out of two, or maybe three.

I only switched on at 7.30am-ish but listened through to the end. Hardly any mention of Brexit.

    At all.

Just the briefest “Jeremy Corbyn has said Labour will support a Second EU Referendum.” in the News and the News bulletins.

Could it be that all those House of Commons Final Say votes – again – yesterday evening did not go the Remoaners and Remainers way?

I see its been touched on here already this morning but thought i’d stick my two penneth in anyway.

Had BBC breakfast on around 6.30am and like others, the glee with which Charlie and the lego headed robot Nagga were reporting the breakdown in talks between USA and N Korea was very noticeable indeed. Charlie in particular you could see he was loving it. It was the stuff of dreams for the BBC …..just what they were hoping for. It was a truly disgusting site to behold.

Flick forward a hour or so and i had Radio 1 on in the car. The news came on. A smarmy, very cocksure women said the following ….

“Talks between Donald Trump (not President Trump) and the North Korean DICTATOR (no other name used) have ended without agreement. Donald Trump was very confident a couple of days ago (played clip of him saying he HOPED talks would be constructive)that agreement would be reached. He is now under pressure as his first round of talks yielded very little !!! Yielded very little ???? What utter shite.

How much progress did your Saint Obama reach on the Korea front ??? Oh yeah, sweet FA !!!

Yet again, she couldnt hide her delight in this news. It was disgraceful . The BBC need to start showing some bloody respect and when referring to the President of the USA, call him President Trump, not Donald Trump !!! I am sure for many years it was President Obama when required.

Horrible lot the BBC … horrible.

One thing that gets my back up about the mungobc is the fact that they gloat about telling the truth but are just as prone to offering ‘click-bait’ as the next false news site. ‘Banks hit by dozens of IT shutdowns’ barks the headline. Then you find out that is an article about shutdowns that occurred last year. You might argue that is is just a slightly curtailed headline to fit into the space but the word ‘were’ doesn’t take up much space does it?

It then got me thinking that, if this is the case, then perhaps the BBC do not actually hold ANY of the views that wind us up and they are simply presented for us to repeat visit and get wound up! Maybe, in truth they really don’t care for the LGBTXYZWY community, can’t stand Labour, want the Royal Navy to mine the channel and wish they could all Lewinsky Donald Trump. Makes you think doesn’t it??

With respect, the graph you post is practically unimportant. More important is the influx from other parts of the third World. To June 2018 the figure is 273,000 totally dwarfing the EU stats. Check out: https://www.migrationwatchuk.org/statistics-net-migration-statistics
In part, thanks to our muslim Home Secretary who shows the public how tough he is on one hand in stopping the Begum woman. He’s on safe ground knowing the courts will consider her, ‘Human Rights’ when they make their decision to permit her to, ‘come home’ perhaps with the bastard in tow. Conversely we cannot see how many muslims are within that 273K. I’ll wager it is the majority. Thanks muslim Home Sec. Your strings are being pulled by the Middle East and your Globalist masters.
We are all in the process of witnessing something extraordinarily ‘big’ going down. I think most people are too close to see what’s going on. The UK’s political elite are utterly out of control and it will take something like a coup to pull up on the reigns quickly. The motivation for the lunacy knows no bounds. It is as if the continuance of the current formation of the political parties can be sacrificed. But for what? The people are no longer considered entitled to a comment and looking at their options to stand up now and demand the nonsense stops immediately (if they were even inclined to tear themselves away from Coronation Street/Eastenders/Footie) only goes to demonstrate how much weight they pool is virtually zero. The State has, over the decades, gradually and by stealth, put laws into place such that it is now impossible to challenge the State. Farage and his ‘Jarrow’ march? Waste of time. It won’t change anything. The political process means we cannot even, within a reasonable period of time, (and currently it is urgent), demand change and given time, this current lot will wriggle out of harms way pretty quickly. Proof? – Look at the decaying state of Brexit – need I say more? That over just over 2 years for them to turn that round just enough to leave a fictitious veneer on the current outcome that offers a vague hint of democracy having been applied. The situation is serious. More so than any other in my lifetime.

A spanner in the works of the Department for Racial Troublemaking earlier this week as R5’s Nihal Arthanayake gives up an hour to guest editor Marvyn Harrison (from Dope Black Dads) to ask ā€œis it harder to be a black dad?ā€ A question which Nihal repeatedly tells us is fascinating, fascinating.

Absenteeism associated with black fathers in the 70s/80s is apparently due to the legacies of slavery and Windrush, home beatings, school beatings and lack of self worth. Higher rates of school expulsion for black kids is due to ā€œmisunderstanding of the black energy; the black look and feel.ā€

So, down to the nitty gritty… is it harder to be a black dad, Nihal asks his guest? ā€œI donā€™t know because Iā€™m not a white dadā€¦ Iā€™ve had nobody elseā€™s experiencesā€¦ it would be wrong of me to actually say thatā€¦”

Wrong to actually say, but so right for a trusted and impartial broadcaster to assume.

We saw it in WW2 when our wonderful MoD rejected the suggestion by certain soldiers that the British Sten Gun would fail the troops at the very time we needed it not too – the assassination of R. Heidreych. (spelling?)

Todays MoD reminds me of the BBC; billions poured into it yet all we see are higher wages for the toffs at the top and an increase of security guards on the doors at BBC HQ london .

It’s a naive view and shows a worrying lack of insight into religious impulses. We’ve been in the business of discarding everything substantial and meaningful, and acculturating ourselves mostly to cartoon-sized tellies, celebrity gossip and Love Island. None of it will be a substitute for a singular, totalitarian ideology that its followers believe is inspired by divinity.

My feeling is that China will exploit Africa to the extent that would make our colonial era seem like the good old days. As for dealing with the muslim world, China won’t put up with it at all if they are seen as a threat. Won’t put up with it in terms of apocalyptic destruction.

People who currently flock to western countries whilst decrying our terrible racism will likely have a re-think once they get a load of their new masters from the far east.

Deep joy for the BBC. Their joy would be deeper if it was Trump. But he’ll have to do for now.

They do so try, our Left/BBC.

Andrew Neil (widely rumoured to have his head screwed on) on Politics Live today, having indulged the sickly-smiling Margaret Hodge on the subject of antisemitism in the Labour Party, then, for balance, challenged a Tory MP (don’t know who he was) on the subject of islamophobia in the Conservatives, which the “.MP understandably said he had never come across. “Oh come! Baroness Warsi says it runs all through the party. You are probably too close to it to be aware of it.” (I paraphrase from memory.) This country is going MAD.

This one from Katie Hopkins of RoPers kicking a kuffir lad reminds me of a similar one which Britain First posted of a Roper attacking an infidel , then Trump re-posted it , and the BBC went hysterical.

Of interest here is a comment displaying the left mindset, which draws attention to one white male attacking, which exonerates the Ropers.

DS ā€” the BBC will be putting in an extra shift these days to spin the India/Pakistan conflict and restore their own distorted idea of balance.

The Muslim terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (‘The Army of Muhammad’) murdered 45 Indian security personnel a couple of weeks ago in a suicide bombing. Yet the BBC only ever refer to them as ‘Kashmir militants’.

Their house rules allow them to refer to ‘Muslims’ only if they are victims (5 mentions in that article).
