More enrichment, this time in Luton where a schoolboy was stabbed 20 times and is fighting for his life.

Luton is one of the most enriched towns in Britain, as TR will attest.

If you ever wondered why Brexit happened you just have to listen to one of the judges who made the decision to give Parliament the ‘meaningful vote’ in order to derail Brexit…he is blatantly pro-EU and anti-Brexit…any wonder the Mail called him and his ilk an ‘enemy of the people’…his arrogant contempt for democracy shines through, all the more ironic as he loudly proclaims his love of democracy….despite everything he says pointing to the opposite…including his conclusion that an ‘educated aristocracy’ should run the country and make all the decisions unhindered by the considerations of the uneducated commoners.

Here our judicial grandiose panjandrum announces that the problem with Brexit is not that politicians have failed but that the great unwashed were allowed to by-pass those ‘educated aristocrats’ in Parliament and vote in a referendum [things which he hates…though he is prepared to suffer a second one to stop Brexit!]….hmm…well it is those politicians who voted for the referendum and promised to carry out the result…and doesn’t every general election ‘circumvent the political process’ by chucking out those whom the great unwashed deem to have failed them…it’s called accountablility…something of course an unelected judge wouldn’t know about….

JONATHAN SUMPTION: Well, politics -politics is not delivering at the moment because we only have one issue in our public life, namely Brexit. The reason why politics is not delivering on Brexit is that we have adopted a system of decision-making, namely a referendum, which is deliberately designed to circumvent the political process. It’s, therefore, a little absurd for us to blame the political process for not responding appropriately.(AUDIENCE APPLAUSE)

The audience was of course, in the great BBC tradition, thoroughly pro-EU and anti-Brexit as witnessed when Mark Reckless dared to question the great Sumption’s assumptions saying that it was in fact a Parliament jam-packed with Remainers out to stop Brexit who had failed….the BBC’s Anita Anand [way out of her depth and more inane than Anand perhaps] jumped in to ‘just say’…‘just in case you didn’t hear’… that the audience had cried ‘ridiculous and rubbish’ in response….

ANITA ANAND:Yes, of course. Just what you -I don’t know whether you -where you -where you heard, but just in case people didn’t hear, there were lots of murmurs of ridiculous and -and -and rubbish coming from the front few rows.

Sumption claims the judges did not give power to parliament but of course they did…they took away the power of government to make deals and treaties without having to go cap in hand to Parliament…which they have always been able to do before. He states correctly that there is no written constituion and goes on to say there should not be one as it would bind the hands of government and limit the ability to react and compromise in order to meet the vagaries and demands of any situation…and yet he then claims this….‘not to put too fine a point of it, we decided that Mrs May did not have the power to alter the whole constitution of the United Kingdom by writing a diplomatic letter to the President of the European Union. That seems to us not to be what the British constitution was about.’…suddenly we do have a constitution that ties government’s hands…when it suits.

Any wonder the BBC picked Sumption to do the Reith Lectures? It is remarkable how deaf to reality these Remain politicians and pro-EU judges are, how out of touch with reality…they see people voting for Brexit as a result of their hatred of elitist politicians and their ilk treating the voters with contempt and arrogance and the response of this ‘elite’ is to treat the voters with contempt and arrogance and attempt to ignore and betray them. Remarkble stupidity and inability to see where this might lead.

      I studied law for 9 years – o level , a level , degree , masters . All part time while I did a real job . I’m not a lawyer – but I can run a brief . I listened to sum-toon and was appalled at his delivery and argument .

He insulted the law . He insulted objective enunciation of fact over opinion or prejudice . He revolted me and should be ashamed that he allowed personal preference to overcome reason .

I had to stop listening because he insulted his profession . Maybe he got paid a lot of money to say what he said – which is the key to understanding the motivation of lawyers …

I think if we and all animal life in Great Britain were to be killed off with the resultant corpses sealed by concrete in disused mines the island would be carbon neutral.

      Where shall we start?

On current trends – anyone over a certain age who is declared a ‘bed blocker ; , this is defined as a not human being of no worth who is declared an excess to the state who can be deprived of water and food by ‘angel ‘ agency nurses who could care less. I’ve seen it. Smelt it , watched it , known it .

All it achieved was filling an hour of broadcast time and reinforcing the view that Rory ‘ain’t quite right ‘ and I – for one – celebrate those two didn’t study PPE , be an advisor to a friend of ‘daddy ‘, lost a red seat then got a nice safe blue one from where they could cheerfully ignore the electorate and spend their political lives in Nando’s on expenses …

vlad – spot on. Maitless was there to damage the Tories and, in particular, nail Boris (As well as promoting its own agendas).
I’m not a Gove fan at all, but noticed it was only he who briefly caught on, turning the tables (‘Islamophobia’) by focusing on antisemitism and Labour. For a brief moment someone broke out of the blue-on-blue violence, set up so neatly by the beeb. It seemed that only he had really cottoned on to face the real enemy At which point he could have linked the reds and pinks and the beeb. Alas he didn’t and alas, it didn’t last long.

And as for Rory, he did his body language thing: starting with his posture and the removal of his tie, it was a simple message– ” Look at me, I’m not one of them….” A message constantly verbally reinforced. The others managed heroically to sit still.
Which, of course, is perfectly true: the party is there so that it can help Rory to promote himself, until no longer convenient. He is not one of them. He deliberately sent the same message before, by saying he wouldn’t serve under Boris, so be prepared for him to join the LimpDums, possibly quite soon, when his figured out which constituency…
Which -for starters- makes you wonder about the 33 ‘Tories’ who voted for him…

      • Doublethinker says:

Yes Rory is at best Continuity May and at worst a Lib Dem plant. I agree he is likely to leave the Tory party if Boris delivers Brexit. As you say there may be other defections to try and stop Brexit. I don’t think that there is any immediate sanction that can be taken against defecting MPs which will prevent them voting against the government. Those whose constituencies voted Remain will probably become LD candidates in the same constituencies. Those with Leave constituencies will become LD candidates in winnable seats.
If a GE is forced by a vote of no confidence in the HoC then it is imperative that TBP and the Tories do not eat each other’s votes. There has to be an electoral pact between TBP and the Tories. Otherwise Brexit will be lost.

“So I think the BBC did a very very poor job. And yet, at the end, we had BBC commentators, like Laura K complaining, that we didn’t learn anything and didn’t get real and detailed answers, as though that was anyones fault other than the BBC’s. Sorry, BBC, that was because of the way you ran this discussion.”

The BBC were just plain awful on this one. They cannot talk their way out of it and it has not gone unoticed. Everyone I have been talking to in the last hour or so, or at least everyone who is in the leave camp, and or pro Tory and or pro Johnson camp says the same things. There was some extreme bias.

Why was each candidate not allowed the same air time as though it was an election debate? The BBC have allowed equal time when party leaders go head to head so why not today’s candidates? Was this the same as when Labour had their leadership challenge a few years ago? Was the bias the same then when a group of liberals and left wingers thought it out to save their wretched party?

What did we learn today? Well, it was still nothing as the BBC have continued to play the same way as they have done for years. The bias is a serious problem and it will get worse and worse as time goes on.

Under attack for being parents. The left are so confident of ‘group think’ exploitation that they can demand anything with menaces. See (a) link below. As long as you agree with the liberal left you can say anything (battery acid is a funny joke on BBC radio) you just re-define joke as democracy and then have to agree to the new fact-free liberal left consensus. The consensus is that English (in particular) should be expunged and minority rights elevated to the extreme left – as stated by the Max Guardian or BBC bare facts checker. Facts are not that important, Science is silenced, Common-sense banned. Arabic Religon OK as longs as its approved by the EU. The new media ‘normal’ has historic consequence that will not end well. I had hoped as English we would be immune from other countries communal baggage. But no more. The elite have declared war on conservatism with overwhelming numbers that communal ideas are against the family and therefore conservative values can be banned. Only the EU could inspire UK courts to ban the word ‘parents’.

    (a) Tomorrow we will know if the UK has banned ‘parents’ in a key UK court judgement!
Last month, former magistrate Richard Page’s challenge to the Lord Chancellor and Lord Chief Justice was heard at the Employment Appeal Tribunal. He had been removed in 2014 from the magistracy for saying that a child does best with a mother and a father.

This is heresy to the liberal BBC types. UK Employment laws are increasingly partisan PC. The BBC has benefited in the past when they claimed to be ‘like a Church’ and won an employment case against one of its staff (who just happened to be a rare BBC African Christian). Now if he were Muslim, gay and as outspoken as a leftie comedian he would have his own show and a six figure income.

Anyway as of Tomorrow , (Wednesday), the judgements will finally be handed down. The outcome of Richard’s case could have significant consequences for anyone holding a public role in society who expresses a similar Christian view in a public or even private social setting.

    View here: https://www.christianconcern.com/our-issues/freedom/richard-page-a-watershed-moment-for-christians

    (b) At the same time there is an organised Denial Of Service (DOS) internet attack on a the same website.|They claim that SOROS is behind the attack: which is ongoing despite the uptime. They report that: ‘… a group of hackers just launched  he most sophisticated and aggressive hacker attack that we have ever faced. Here is the message that was sent to us by the hackers:
“Are you enjoying the web attack? Delete all your content… related to LGBT. Also delete the sexist content and the content against abortion. If you don’t do it before the weekend, the war will start and you will regret it.”

The left and LGBTQX are such nice people… and so well organised for such a small number (poltically orchestrated). Non- stop campaigning for equal rights to money and free stuff, usually children. The least trusted and forever fashionable people, the people with a cocaine or/and drug habit, the genderless, nationless, meat-free, pro abortitive (if it were biologically possible), pro sex, pro Saville virtue exhumed as positive and healthy, exploitative (needs and sexual wants), forever friendless apart from shared group identity on Twitter and free NHS meds. They outnumber us all, that and the BBC combined add up to a globule of hate for everyone else who ‘objects’ is forced to hide from the media (who should be questioning – on our behalf – how in heavens name – is that SAFE?). They never ask. They never ask!

This I am afraid is the new normal, it brings to mind the very worst of what society has to offer by these totalitarians (they adore being called elite), the new PURITANS who have all the zeal and attractiveness of the ‘Brown shirts’, the same arrogance of of how and why they are so superior to mere mortals. Again. It will not end well. I feel that ‘we’ last of the English should be protected as aboriginal (in the true sense that we inhabit these islands and value our inherited knowledge and life wthout persecution). But the trophy is Lenin or Marx, but not called that. Its Liberalism, equality, diversity and (insert) your own appendage.

The UK re-educated, cleansed of catholic values, disbanded and ridiculed by our new Twitter group of UK Judge elites (well represented by BBC). Catholics (all kinds not just Jews) will be under attack (if we ever object) to the new ‘Euro-happy’ PC normal. This is an unhappy time to voice concern. You don’t have to be religious nut to worry. Uncanny that George Orwell feared of the huge multinationals, but it appears that the UK or EU state will create the same cultural abyss with fake war to keep us all ‘woke’ with fear – China style citizenships of communal nothings, equally shared misery by everyone, assured destruction bereft of morality and any positive life expectation. Sector 27 that once was called England. We had a democracy once, I shall remember, but nobody to remind us of that – as BBC news about imminent and urgent ‘climate change’ gave news blackouts on facts. That was fifty years ago. Its now 2069. Its still raining outside as it always did in this country. They tax it now and put VAT (on water) it if its sold. Coal is back but wood is banned, Books are banned, the radio cannot be switched off and it has only one channel. TV is now black and white as nobody can afford the colour license. Charity has gone and debts are written off once they have infected you with an infectious disease. It’s called Climate population control. I hide the cross from the radio set, they don’t like any icons on show as it can inspire hope. Hope was banned as a hate crime against the republic. And so it goes, and so it goes.
The war of the left has its casualties. Nobody will remember England in a hundred years time, nobody will remember anything after BBC ‘re-education’. Its Climate Change again. Brexit was our last chance to be free. Our last hope. I was once a parent.

The BBC might self-identify (if they could be honest) as left liberal, but a better description may be ‘Neo-Marxist’.

The first step on the way to any Marxist utopian delusion is destruction of the family. Their belief system is based on pseudo-scientific truth (group-think), whereas in real science nothing is ever proven.

However, it isn’t going to happen, especially not to the good people of the British Isles.

Tory leadership race: Rivals clash over Brexit

      Tory leadership debate

The five men left in the contest to become the next Conservative leader and prime minister face a third MPs’ ballot today, with the person in last place being eliminated. Dominic Raab was knocked out of the race yesterday, meaning he didn’t take place in last night’s BBC TV debate.

So how did it go? There was plenty of toing and froing on Brexit, particularly on whether the UK could leave the EU by 31 October. Boris Johnson – the frontrunner, who got 126 votes in Tuesday’s ballot – called this “eminently feasible”. But Rory Stewart ruled out supporting a “damaging and unnecessary” no-deal exit.

However, Sajid Javid said a deadline would “focus minds” and Jeremy Hunt told viewers he would back no deal as a “last resort”. And Michael Gove said, as PM, he would be prepared to delay Brexit by a few days to get the best result. BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg gives her take.

BBC Reality Check looks at the candidates’ claims to see how they stack up.

She I suspect is an activist. And she has a daughter training to be a vet, another is a lawyer and another at university. She is mixed race and wore the Left uniform.

Profile of an ardent Remainer. Certainly not random.

Three of the five electoral fraud complaints have been dismissed by the police. Quick work! Only two to go and the whole artificial scenario will be seen as a tissue of lies. So that’s alright then – or should that be left?

President Trump promises a “wild” start to his 2020 campaign.

What does MAGA mean to Americans?

Now, any wild guesses as to which Americans the BBC will ask, and whose responses get edited (cut) in, or out?

Toady, Nick goes on over and over again about Boris, to the point of nausea: Nick Robinson is going on the most massive anti-Boris binge. St Nazanin’s husband has benn roped in for this project, and is happy to do so.
Nadim Zahawi, who supported Raab, gets blasted over Boris: “words have consequences” Robinson repeats over and over endlessly. Anything Boris has ever said is dragged up. Quoted out of context.
I wish Robinson were dragged from the studio, but wait -Sopel has come on to blast President Trump’s re-election
launch. And Michal his Iran policy.
Boris an Trump are getting the full frontal attack from Toady.
Last night’s Maitliss assault has filled the beeb with energy.
Had Tory candidates simply stayed away en mass…

For some strange reason the following letter and a postal ballot paper for the Peterborough by-election were tucked inside the Brexit party Euro election pamphlet that I received recently. (Especially odd as I don’t live in Peterborough).

    Dear Gardener’s Question Time,
After following the advice that you have been giving for the last six years, I stripped of my lawn turf and covered it in gravel and planted several varities of cacti.
All went well until April when half of them went black. Perhaps it was the frost? Now I find that the rest have gone brown and some have fallen over. I am not sure why as so far it has been too wet to go outside.

What have I done wrong? Is it because of Brexit? Have we got the wrong sort of climate change? Has your old, hideously white panel given me the wrong advice as they all seem to have a commercial interest in gardening? Perhaps an all-female panel of concerned 16 year-olds would do better? At least you now have an ethnic minority person in the chair, also she should save you some money, being able to ‘top and tail’ for the previous and following programmes too. (Can one get sub-titles for the wireless?).
    Yours etc.

    The Telegraph:

“”Nigel Farage: Brexit Party pact with Boris would deliver ‘massive majority’ on no-deal election ticket””

“”The Brexit Party could form an election pact with Boris Johnson aimed at delivering a “massive” Commons majority for a clean exit from the EU, Nigel Farage has signalled.””

“”The former Ukip leader said if Mr Johnson became Prime Minister and had the “guts” to fight an election on a no-deal ticket, then there “is a deal that could be done” with his burgeoning party.””

“”Mr Farage’s comments on Tuesday night, at Nigel Farage On Brexit: Live, an event hosted by The Telegraph, represented a boost for Mr Johnson, the front-runner to succeed Theresa May.””

Scottish TV turn off! The new BBC TV for Scotland channel has had NO VIEWERS for 21 days between February and June this year…. Launched in February by our favorite public broadcaster with an annual budget exceeding £32 million!. Not a single Scottish viewer has registered for any Scottish BBC News bulletin. This article was published (page 4) in The Times yesterday June 18th 2019. There may be a STAT web link to this somewhere – or its too early to report. The BBC will be in panic mode and targeting ‘advertising’ north of the border to boost figures. The BBC is not trusted up there. Maybe the SNP should work harder with the BBC to reduce the viewing figures further. No wonder the BBC don’t like releasing figures under FOI on the continued reduction in overall TV and radio viewers in the UK (which includes Scotland). I could not find a web link on this, but it is in print and will probably be buried in ‘audience’ figures somewhere.

No need to go travelling to or within the Middle East: that culture is rapidly taking over Europe.
“Notably, the London bomb-making cell was discovered in the autumn of 2015, shortly after Britain had become one of the signatories to the controversial nuclear deal with Iran.
Even though both former prime minister David Cameron and Theresa May, who was then serving as Home Secretary, were informed of the discovery, that it was not made public suggests they were keen not to reveal any information that might damage the nuclear deal.”

Even more dangerous appeasement by our political ruling class. No spine.

It appears the Imam ‘randomly selected’ ha ha ha by the highly professional researchers at our impartial state broadcaster to ask a question at the Tory leadership debate is a primary school deputy head.
Mmmmm. Maybe we should just check out that school a little more………

I suppose it would be a hate crime to comment on these findings. But I’m sure readers will be able to draw their own conclusions about this fee-paying Islamic primary school with fewer than 200 pupils that is not meeting the OFSTED independent school standards..

More revelation about the BBCs massive Left wing bias, when they allowed a known (to them) Labour party HQ worker to question the Tory leaders but failed to let anyone else know !

Worse than that he was in charge of anti semitism investigations within Labour, and has at this time been tweeting apologies for Hitler which has led to his law firm bosses sacking him.

It is also alleged the BBC knew, or should have known of this, along with the Imams tweets which had only been made two days before the program.
