Headlines today certainly reflect what a successful hatchet job the BBC did on the Tories last night.
It’s all about candidates clashing, ganging up, evading questions (usually because the wretched Maitlis woman kept butting in and saying “I don’t understand”) etc etc.
And of course the trap was set with the question about Islamaphobia, leading to calls for an investigation and thus another lovely headline grabber.
As pointed out by others on this site, it turns out that the imam who the BBC chose to fire this particular salvo happens to be an active anti Semitic/Zionist Corbyn supporter (see link) – was he vetted? How very BBC. https://order-order.com/
I suppose in theory whoever gets in has to be PM for all. That’s how it’s been these past three years with everyone accepting the referendum result. There have been no spanners thrown into the works.
(Apologies if someone else has already put it up on the previous thread!)
Here’s a para for flavour:
“The National Pensioners Convention (NPC) has called on local pensioner groups, trade unions, community groups, students, members of the public, MPs and councillors to take to the streets outside their local BBC bases on Friday as part of the growing backlash against the cuts.”
Of course, it is ridiculous to need a licence for your TV in the first place. Perhaps there should be a new TV game show for politicians only entitled “Who Dares Wins”, and whoever dares defunds the BBC (for starters) gets first prize!
An American supporter of President Trump is to donate £150 million to Oxford .
Tourette’s Robinson interviewed an oxford staffer and pushed for the donation to be turned down because of President Trump .
Of course it should be turned down . Any money from people the BBC snowflakes don’t like should be refused . The BBC doesn’t like anyone who doesn’t pay the TV licence . Therefore it must refuse my money and yours if you support this site because it doesn’t like you
I wrote Tuesday that the Tory coronation process might as well be done without involvement of the MSM – which is the enemy of anything – anyone – of the Right –
So please no more maitless messes
Meanwhile – Londonistan murder number 5 in a week.
As I write this Tourette’s Robinson is on about Boris again- a whole hour of hate from the BBC . Off switch .
The BBC are terrified of Johnson. That should be a good enough reason for him to win alone. Their breakdown when the winner is announced would be priceless
Wall to wall Boris bashing. Bojo is bluffing and blustering. He is bumbling, rolling back on policy.
Bring on Solid Stewart.
Guess what? Rory Stewart is doing a wobble as well. His Citizens Assembly idea is back on the cards having been off his agenda for four or five days while the BBC tried to make him appear sensible.
Apparently, Rory now reckons he can get a Citizens Assembly up and running and advising Parliament for a vote in just three weeks. Really.
Here’s Nick last night, speaking for the nation. Apparently.
What we learned from tonight’s debate : 1. There’s a reason Johnson has avoiding questioning. He looks vulnerable when challenged 2. Hunt, Gove & Javid are scared of Stewart so they all aimed their fire at him 3. If you thought a new Tory leader would end the squabbling …
Am I on the right thread?
The BBC are constant – bash Boris. They are so transparent..on Breakfast the same as radio. The questions he got asked were clearly set up…and stupid…
And who do they get on BBC to talk about the programme – a female Indian and a male muslim..from Beaconsfield conservative – couldn’t they find any one white not just one? It isn’t a racist comment just an observation since my family live in Beaocnsfield and I know there are quite a lot of white people there in the conservative party…get some balance BBC
I think just about everyone I have heard says the format was rubbish and most turned off – I kept switching it off and back on in the hope it would improve….But do the BBC accept Maitless and the format were useless – No….pathetic
Toady features Norman Smith taking over the attack on Boris. It’s time for Islamophobia; in the form of ‘news’, Warsi comes forward. She wants an investigation into ‘Islamophobia’.
Nothing about Antisemitism. Gove mentioned it in vain last night to attempt to stop the blue-on-blue violence, the beeb was hoping to entertain us with. Regrettably the counter-attack petered out.
The man who Soapy said would be impeached within weeks, then when that didn’t happen, said he would be out of the White House before he could celebrate Christmas as a President, then when that didn’t happen, said that the mid-terms would destroy President Trump, then when that didn’t happen, said that the Mueller investigation would result in the President being found guilty of everything, then when that didn’t happen, has had to report on the TOADY Prog that President Trump has announced that he will run again in 2020.
What is even worse, it sounds like Soapy had to attend the President Trump rally in Florida and listen to all that cheering.
Fake , Up2
I’m clueless on the reason the site softy ware does what it does . I’m trying to ration the amount of time I look over all the comments as it can take time – particularly when Mr Pinder does one of his truly educational posts which I find so interesting that I go off to other bits of the web to research .
Same with Mr Pug and those well constructed posts . Thanks both .
Fed, it is a fairly heavy duty task that you carry out as Moderator and it is appreciated. You wear it well, even if the tablet does its best to sabotage your efforts. On the subject of the sudden removal of the edit facility, it would be something for the site engineers to sort.
It is tempting to go way off-thread, whether with RP or now that I know Big Bro was a plastics engineer, with him/her, too. Am now tempted to divert onto that favourite BBC topic to discuss various virtues and failings of the stuff.
The thought occurs that we could possibly introduce a side bar with some specialties and ‘other interests’ listed for the registered users who post here.
None of the useless cowadly inept Tories turned this around on him and quoted verses in the Qur’an, nor did they mention the words of Jo Brand having potential consequences.
“Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the unbelievers wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush.
But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free.
Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful”
Criticism of Islam is demanded in a free society, and one religion should not have special protection from criticism. Islamofauxbia is a word invented by an Islamic terrorist group, the Muslim Brotherhood, proscribed in several countries including Islamic ones, yet not apparantly in the UK !
That’s the value of a place like this: learn something new every day from other folk.
It used to happen with the Blogs from Senior BBC Editors until the BBC sabotaged their own success and introduced silly limitations or let the Editors get lazy and not do a Blog for a while. Or prevent comments on their Blog.
I wonder if they will ever wake up to that? The BBC appear to be pushing Podcasts in a big way at present. They are obviously not thinking too carefully about that. Podcasting can make the BBC irrelevant. Correction: Podcasting can make the BBC even more irrelevant. It is possible for anyone to Podcast and, therefore, to start putting the BBC out of business by competing directly with the BBC’s Podcasts.
And hour three of Toady: why, it’s Robinson slagging off Brexit. And Boris. It’s not going to stop. Islamophobia. Boris made the Nazanin Ratcliffe story worse. Blah Blah.
Robinson gets Hunt to admit not enough was spent on social care. Robinson praises Rory. On comes Laura K. I think I’ve heard enough. “Off switch” beckons.
Al Beeb, Radio Taffland this morning on last night’s debate. Who does the ‘impartial’ broadcaster wheel on ? – Dom Grieve. He backs ‘Rory the Remainer’. He called for another Referendum and said that we cant leave the EU on a no – deal basis as Parliament has prevented it.
Why hasn’t that man been deselected by his Tory constituents?
All the more reason to vote and support UKIP and The Brexit Party.
Mishal moderates a discussion on AI in the light of £150m being given to Oxford University, statues notwithstanding (or should I write ‘statues notstillstanding?’) to fund research into Artificial Intelligence.
Carissa Vellais (sorry if spelled incorrectly) doesn’t know what to do about AI and all the ethical questions it raises. I wondered if she was a University graduate? But she does know it needs someone to decide the answers, it needs a regulator, someone with ‘teeth’. Oh dear! Again.
I think the younger generations are setting themselves up to become automatons, drones, merely told what to think, what to do. No responsibilities, no decisions to make, no choices, no freedoms.
They will be prisoners of their own device.
Come on youngsters, it is time for you to Acquire Intelligence.
“I think the younger generations are setting themselves up to become automatons, drones, merely told what to think, what to do. No responsibilities, no decisions to make, no choices, no freedoms.”
Perfect…just what the Corbynutta and his far-Leftoid mates want.
So, as already mentioned, the imam that the Beeb foist upon us last night and the bloke these creepy candidates were all fawning over, turns out to be an active anti-Semite. it’s just too delicious for words!
Just imagine anyone else putting this clown on the TV other than the bloody useless BBC.
And as for these muppets all agreeing to investigate “Tory Islamophobia”, FFS…
The last thing this country needs is an investigation into “Islamophobia”. It’s balderdash.
You tend to find that people become a little “phobic” when constantly confronted by terrorism and paedophile gangs. It isn’t a phobia, it’s a perfectly natural reaction.
My parents became a tad phobic during the last war when my mum’s house was bombed and my dad’s ship was torpedoed. Peculiarly intolerant…
Most of us don’t like the idea of young girls being gang raped.
Most of us get a tad upset at the prospect of innocent citizens being murdered on our streets.
Us ordinary folk don’t work in a building surrounded by bollards and armed police.
Our sanctimonious, politically correct MPs are given an extraordinary level of protection.
We’re not.
The BBC want him in so they can easily humiliate and destroy him and as a result the Conservative Party.
Is there anybody in their right mind who could want him as PM ?
R4..got Maitless on to explain her show and how tricky it was for her…WTF
She is basically slagging all politicians all off…it was their fault the chairs were bad…does she not realise she was supposed to be in control?
Some body language ‘expert’ explaining why Rory was great.. the way he sat…I know why Rory was sitting differently – he is short and was trying to make himself bigger
Maitless just said – the questions from the public were excellent ..was she on a different show???? The whole of media except BBC are saying it was awful….talk about cloud cuckoo land
Catching up on yesterday’s bbbc comments I noticed Beltane saying that 3 of the 5 police investigations into the Peterborough election farce are finished.
2 more to go and then we can all be 100% satisfied that everything was completely in order and we were all imagining the fraud that was so obvious to us all.
EG – It’s simple: we must not let it rest!!!
Even if we have to find our of Gretha Thunberg, or whatever her name was.
This has to be kept in the eye of the media and the police have to be badgered: what exactly, did they do? what exactly did they find? when exactly are they going to tell us?
I refer back to the Sunday Times article and the comments of a member of the Electoral Commission, a QC who, already in 2008, warned about postal vote and other abuse.
The parliament appears to have done NOTHING? A decade later. NOTHING?
The beeb will bury the Peterborough story, if we let them. After Abdullah from Bristol and Sajid Javid getting everyone to committ to an investigation, the beeb have again weaponised the ‘Islamophobia’ narrative. (Gove caught on and turned the tables to look at Antisemetism, but the beeb had set all this up very carefully to make sure Labour and its problems faded into the background.)
We musn’t let them!
The police may do the same.
We musn’t let them!
We have a right to know what happened in Peterborough.
Not sure what Nigel is doing about this?
The British constabulary once famous, has gone down the sewer when they failed to protect and defend tens of thousands of young White girls from predatory Pakistani Muslim rape gangs.
I am pretty good at maths and stats and believed that it will take
at the most five generations before the UK became part of the
Greater European Caliphate and joining Holland, Sweden , France
and other European countries which had become Islamic years
before us. I am not so sure now.
With the obvious demographics . The political fraud . And with the
acquiescence of the BBC, it’s possible that by the time the babies
being born today are going into later middle age they will be
tuning into the BBC in the morning and being greeted with the Adhan.
I give it fifty years at most before Britain is Sharia. Muslims need to be just 30% of the voting population, and a further 10% postal vote, parliament will be muslim majority. No wonder the BBC panders to Muslims. They can read the writing on the wall.
“Mene, mene, tekel, upharsin” .
God had “numbered” the kingdom of Belshazzar and brought it to an end; that the king had been weighed and found wanting; and that his kingdom was divided and given to the Medes and Persians (Dan. v. 1-28).
A climate scientist has captured an image of sled dogs appearing to walk on water in melting sea ice in Greenland. ????????????????????????????????
***
Top comment:
This is a normal occurrence every year at this time. The sea ice is still at least a few feet thick, and the water indicates that there are no cracks in the ice for the melted surface water to seep into the ocean below. Perfectly safe. Very fun, actually!
I’m Inuk and live in the circumpolar region
Ps, the land would have been melted of snow by now, the picture is of the inhabitable areas of Greenland not covered in glacier ????
Super deceptive headline in this bbc tweet “Police say no bribery or postal voting offences committed”
Yet it’s own sub-headline says NOT all dismissed
“Three of five allegations of malpractice over the Peterborough by-election have been ruled out”
The actual BBC web page is less deceptive tan the tweet
cos the title now says
“Peterborough by-election fraud inquiry: No ‘offences’ in three cases”
Peterborough by-election: Police say no bribery or postal voting offences committed, after allegations of 'malpractice' https://t.co/xj9MPmwHxh
So what’s going on with that tweet title phrase ?
\\ Peterborough by-election: Police say no bribery or postal voting offences committed, after allegations of ‘malpractice’ //
A BBC human chose those misleading words, and almost all Twitter readers took it at face value
which is appalling, cos people should know to look beyond the headline.
“”Nigel Farage: Brexit Party pact with Boris would deliver ‘massive majority’ on no-deal election ticket””
“”The Brexit Party could form an election pact with Boris Johnson aimed at delivering a “massive” Commons majority for a clean exit from the EU, Nigel Farage has signalled.””
“”The former Ukip leader said if Mr Johnson became Prime Minister and had the “guts” to fight an election on a no-deal ticket, then there “is a deal that could be done” with his burgeoning party.””
“”Mr Farage’s comments on Tuesday night, at Nigel Farage On Brexit: Live, an event hosted by The Telegraph, represented a boost for Mr Johnson, the front-runner to succeed Theresa May.””

I hope Nigel watched last night’s debacle of a debate which demonstrated just how low politics in this country and the BBC have sunk. That gaggle of duplicitous poseurs presented a mixture of low theatre, inanity and farce all orchestrated by a screechy tart in white stilettos acting as if she was running for the job herself.
The set was designed to force the candidates to perch inelegantly manspread on spindly stools which brought into disrespect the concept and status of the High Office under consideration irrespective of the lack of integrity and intellect displayed by the aspirants.
It was apparent that that weird skeletal creature, Stewart, had been coached in the use of body language and thus kept his feet firmly planted on the floor throughout. Kudos to his team of preppers, but a pity they were unable to do anything about the turgid drivel emanating from between his strangely effeminate lips.
It’s strange that we have about 130 or so days until 31 October yet Gove says we may need 24 hours more. (130 days plus 24 hours?)
It’s plain to me that he wants to have an excuse for more extensions.
The 24 hours will become 24 days then more extensions and so on.
The government(s) have been squabbling over the eu for decades and couldn’t agree on anything so they gave us the choice. We told them we want out, as in the booklet, no cu/sm/ecj and have our full sovereignty.
We told them clearly, OUT.
Now, after giving them our decision, they are all at it again, squabbling about how not to implement our decision.
What a shower of s***e they are apart from the few such as Redwood, Francois, Hoey and the others we on here know about.
@LCS “Paywall, naturally.” Times accounts can be shared by family member. So I’m using my sisters trial account, but it expires at the end of the month. So I’ll have to sort something else out.
Darn i had to read the whole Times article which is essentially Gove writing a job application
Times Comments not useful, There is something weird going on
very very few in the comments or on Twitter address the points in the actual Gove article.
The article starts with a massive attack on Corbyn ‘The new PM should take on Corbyn & believe in Brexit’
“I led the Leave campaign”
(yeh but then you stabbed Boris so we got Remainer May as PM) ‘track record .. to deliver change’
Re those Comments
OK always look for a debunk of an article
So first look at the top comments, instead of wading thru the article
but this time there is something going on
..maybe AlistairCampbell has a team of PR people writing the comments
720 is a lot of comments, for an article that few of us are interested in.
I moved to checking on Twitter , where only 4 accounts tweeted the article.
The top Times comment is written by a tricky Remainer commenter
..who firstly calls out the Times (that gets the likes),
then changes tack to attack Brexit.
What you need is someone who has actually read the article, instead of a RemainerZombie, or a Brexiteer who hates Gove
Ooh scary, scary, scary
LBC : Secret far-right groups are using Facebook to incite violence against Muslims.
… The non-tech-grandads don’t understand that if you start censoring public groups people go to private groups
It is the nature of the internet that opinions pop up in another place
trying to stop them in wackamole
Obviously having non-secret discussions is best
cos then nutters get quickly called out.
– “Far right” ..what you mean there are no lefty groups discussing how to milkshake people and how to dox people , and spreading poison against non-lefty figures ?
It wouldn’t surprise me if there are even more people in those lefty groups .
Secret far-right groups are using Facebook to incite violence against Muslims.
On a post about a recent clash between far right protestors and Muslim counter protestors in Oldham, one man commented that Muslims were like “Sewer rats crawling out of drains” and another suggested bullets should be thrown at them.
The first tweeter says
“Matt, What was the recent protest discussed , never heard anything on LBC regarding this ????”
all I find is
someone tweeting that LBC had mentioned it but blamed violence on TR.
(there are dozens of other tweets people sent to LBC showing photos of the Muslim youths throwing stones in Oldham)
@LBC news report. 2 police vehicles have been damaged at a Tommy Robinson event in Oldham. These clowns are the reason the public don’t believe MSM outlets anymore. 2 police vehicles damaged by the Muslim defence league throwing bottles and bricks. We know the truth. ????????
— MARK CHALONER ???????????????????????????????????? (@MRKCHALONER) May 19, 2019
“Iman who attacked Boris saying ‘words have consequences’ on leaders debate’ is girls school head who sent tweets blaming women for rape, praising Corbyn and attacking Jews as BBC is slammed and Nicky Campbell apologises for having him on.”
“…..Another post suggested he blamed women for rape, writing: ‘Lets make something clear: Generally, men are the predators, but women need to realise this and be smarter.
‘It takes 2 to tango, and if you put yourself in that position, don’t expect every man to pass up the opportunity to take advantage of you. Don’t be alone with a man!”
Patel is listed as being the headteacher of the Al-Ashraf Primary School, and the Al Ashraf Secondary School for Girls in Gloucester.
UPDATE: BBC 5Live's Nicky Campbell apologises for having Abdullah on the show, describes his social media as "extremely disturbing"…https://t.co/q5Jdhf30Rn
BBC make up artists at work? ..his beard doesn’t look to have as much grey in it as the photo with the Bishop of Gloucester in the Daily Fail. That event was April 2016.
Koranic words have consequences too. Words of antisemitism, homophobia, misogyny, xenophobia, supremacy, violence, and warmongering which have had consequences down the centuries, and continue today.
The “get Boris” campaign by the bbc now clearly has turned out to have a theme, kicked off by Mateless last night, and HEAVILY reinforced by Nick Robinson on Toady this morning: “Words have consequences” is the main slogan, although there are other lines of attack. Briefly, Gove caught on last night, when he spoke about antisemitism.
maitless could hardly contain her hatred of Boris, slipping in the odd bit about what he did as mayor of London, raising another absolute beeb favourite: Boris is to blame for Nazanin’s fate, etc etc
The bias shown against Boris last night was the worst that I have ever seen.
Lets hope he does not forget this. If he becomes MP I hope that would cause a meltdown at the BBC but expect a lot of other stories, mostly rubbish from the Mirror to appear over the next few months about how Johnson is a wicked man and how we should all vote for Corbyn instead
Fake
It almost sounds like the Far Left failing BBC is having an ‘ institutional breakdown ‘ as it is consumed by the thought of BoJo as PM .
When this does happen the ‘ legitimacy’ noise is just going to go on and on .
I’ve looked at the planned parliamentary calendar upto October 31 and it looks like the Speaker will have to cut their holidays if the traitors are really to stop our exit ….
I really don’t see how they could stop Brexit. As far as I am aware we leave by default on the 31st October. The incoming PM doesn’t have to do anything for that deadline to expire, surely?
Fed up….thanks for keeping this site up and running – and apologies for being a bit off topic again.
Maxi Boy finished 8th yesterday. We have a fine selection of horses at Ascot today. The Maxwecan (For maxi), Multiply By Eight (Abbott), Desert Encounter (Arab bribes), I Can Fly (Greta wotsit), Lady Quickstep (Dancing Teresa).
King
Ha ha – thank you – sadly I had a fairly bad ascot – only 2 winners but maxi let us down . I back ‘ religious ‘ named horses ….. and dettori must be off his feed ..
Stew: well-intended, but they will have to look carefully at qualifications, awarding institutions, standards there, levels of English etc etc
I don’t know much about the medical world, but certificates in some fields aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on. I recall one recent disaster with a “German” doctor (who was actually Nigerian). I remember wondering how well the Germans checked, any of which activity would have to have been extremely careful not to elicit charges of ‘Racism’.
ooh scary scary
but when you compare a new story to a #FakeNews story what do you get ?
Great Pacific Garbage Patch is not real,
it is not an area of ocean where you can walk across garbage ..all those photos are fake
It is an area of thousands of square kilometres where there are every so often bits of plastic beneath the waves.
It is not a graveyard of wildlife
Few people have read the Times article
..one person points out that the photo is not of the Mersey
but is actually labelled as “River Derwent, Derbyshire”
I see that the Telegraph highlights Stewart teaming up with Gove.
So the bBc are not the only ones, running a “get Boris” campaign!
Gove did it three years ago, and this time around, it seems little Rory is trying to help him.
Brian Cox told us last night that there could be life on Saturn’s icy moon, Enceladus. Could NASA/ESA not speed up their next project and get both Gove and Stewart out there, the only place where we can reasonably be assured that these two MPs won’t cause trouble? I believe there is hydrothermal activity there, that strange creatures could thrive in?
The gap could easily be plugged by bringing back genuine Brexiteer, with no ‘maybes’, ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ about leaving on deadline date: Dominic Raab.
Actually, looking at Enceladus last night: parliament needs somewhere to set up shop while the Houses of P /Palace Westminster is renovated. I know just the place…
On climate change and all the elite members of society constantly telling us to go back to living in caves.
I have read lots of articles by climate change specialists, and whether you believe the science or not, they all agree on one thing.
The greatest danger to our planet is over population, and the best way to have a positive effect on the climate is to have less children.
Does this mean that by donating to comic relief, children in need, Oxfam (soon to be rebranded as child rapists on tour) and other such organisations we are actually saving lives and destroying the planet?
Wouldn’t it be fun to get Greta the great can spearhead the campaign to ban charities from saving the starving Africans for the good of the planet.
I just hope that Saint David Atterborough lives long enough to meet the young African who is alive today thanks to donations to children in need and comic relief, and who goes into the history books as the person who killed the last wild Rhino
They do bang on about it all the time, but they would never put the topics together
Over population and climate change can never be discussed along side charitable organisations, because the general public just might realise that we can help the planet by not donating money to save the poor people in Africa
Plus left wing MPs almost always go to work for NGOs and Charities when they get kicked out of politics (look up how many former labour MPs and Journalists are now working for charities)
Many years ago I lived in a small mining village in South Derbyshire. I remember a thriving community, busy shops and a couple of great pubs full of genial locals.
Now living in the South of England, after many years I was back in the area and decided to stop in the village for a look round.
I found a sad run-down place, every shop closed, pubs closed, village hall shuttered up, no-one out and about.
A few miles away, a new housing development has appeared with commuter cars on every drive.
The BBC is now under huge attack and criticism again because it just couldn’t help allowing one of its brown eyed favourites to ask a loaded question to the hated Tories leadership hopefuls.
It goes to the Lefts starry eyed dreams that Islam is a peaceful lovely religion which has no faults, and that all Muslims are somehow victims of White male Western oppression.
It never crosses their tiny minds that Muslims might actually be as bad as some people paint them. These truths are simply dismissed as being ‘right wing’, and remember all you need to be ‘right wing’ is to criticise Islam however mild that criticism might be
So now the truth emerges, and the cretins at the BBC act all surprised. They are surprised because they could never contemplate the rumours that were told were true, and I can imagine today behind the scenes there is some discussion about this being some right wing or ‘zionist’ plot to slander the reasonable religion of Islam.
Thoughtful,
Let us not forget that ‘right wing’ is not a negative. Despite the current media narrative right wing is simply that, right of centre and quite sensible. ‘Far right wing’ is another matter.
Lucy
Whatever these terms used to mean left and right refer to one’s attitude to Islam. Far left, as in Left Unity, were for dialogue with Isis. Right wing refers to those who are not active in opposing Islamophobia. Far right includes those who regard the term ‘Islamophobia’ as BS. Extreme right refers to divisive people who complain about children being gang raped.
Right Wing is right-minded, what is right and the right answer. Nigel Farage is the right man for the job because he is the leader of the 29 democratically elected members of the right-minded Brexit Party. Unlike the BBC, payment to the Brexit Party is voluntary, even if you vote for them.
Left Wing is wrong-minded, sinister and the wrong answer. Lord Hall is the wrong man for the job of leader of the BBC because he is a member of the undemocratic sinister House of Lords, and forces people to pay the BBC on threat of imprisonment, even if they promise never ever to watch the BBC ever again, even after Friday. (see the Daily Express for “the Great BBC Switch Off”)
Therefore undemocratic institutions like the BBC, House of Lords and the European Union are loved by evil battery acid loving left-wing people because they remind them of the beloved Soviet Union.
More BBC website drivel:
“The island of Sommarøy in Norway has a very different kind of summer.
While in the UK, sunshine days are very welcome for most people, these Norwegian islanders live with 69 days of continuous sunshine each year!”
So it’s never ever cloudy in northern Norway during June and July and the island only experiences clear blue skies each day. Amazing. Who knew?
The big Pinterest censorship story
So BBC Trending covers the big happening tech stories ?
..if it did it would of course be covering Project Veritas undercover work from James O’Keefe
who made a video report from secret Pinterest whistleblower who showed that Pinterest added a few conservative websites like an anti-abortion site Liveaction.org , ZeroHedge and PJmedia to a list of porn sites that it blocks
..but not only that, it knew they weren’t really porn sites.
When called out Pinterest took it off the porn list but then banned it completely under another ruse.
But then when ProjectVeritas uploaded the report to YouTube it was removed
but then when commenters like Tim Pool put up comment videos their videos were also removed in very mysterious ways.
Google searfch for last 12 months :

I have been on holiday in France and I can report that one of the objectives of the Remain/Brussels axis has been achieved. Many ordinary French folks quite understandably don’t realise that our politicians and civil servants have been in cahoots with Brussels to ensure that Brexit has been made unnecessarily tortuously difficult and protracted. Even if they may not have been successful on stopping it altogether, only time will tell on that, they have made many other Europeans wary of trying the same thing themselves. For the EU this is a great outcome as it will serve to slow down and perhaps even reverse the trend of people wanting their sovereignty back. Throwing off the yoke of the liberal Globalist elite will take along time. There is no trick, no deceit that they will not use. They will abuse their power to retain their position and the ruination of millions of ordinary people’s lives matters nothing to them.
Again every day is like psychological warfare
if you step on media street
cos you are constantly confronted by chuggers spitting #FakeNews in your face.
Today as soon as I switch on the radio
I’ve got LBC telling me thatthere is a grand secret conspiracy of the “far right” on Facebook
– Then the BBC is along to tell me the police have dismissed ALL accusations of cheating in Peterborough
– Then almost all media is chanting hypebolic GreenPeace claims about plastics in the Mersey
Wonderful. I could watch him in his rallies for hours on end. What a President – the Yanks are a lucky bunch of buggers, if they did but know it. If only WE had one…
Lucy: Had a look at this on Fox News/YT -(currently 535,056 views).
Loved the part where Pres Trump said: “we got rid of a political machine that tried to take away your voice and your vote, your dignity and your destiny”…(Please come here to the UK Pres Trump!)
The five minutes after CNN pulled out are worth a watch. Actually, the whole thing is.
THAT’S WHAT WE NEED SO BADLY HERE IN THE UK -TO DEAL WITH THE BERCOWS AND THE LETWINS, THE GRIEVES AND THE SOUBRYS, THE STEWARTS AND THE KHANS ….WHERE DO YOU STOP? WHERE DO YOU STOP WHEN WE HAVE A SWAMP THAT MAKES THE DC ONE LOOK LIKE A PUDDLE?
Imagine if anyone got up to tell a few home truths like that here. You can just hear the howls of outrage from the MSM! THE Guardian would be apoplectic. The Beeb would launch the campaign of the year. Or do like CNN? Channel4 : outraged! We know the words they would all use to close down debate.
The Far Left Jess Phillips is never off our screens playing the victim and Virtue Signalling on any issue. So, therefore she must be, according to the BBC and MSM a clean living little angel …. um …. quick look at her twitter feed tells us thats not quite the case !!!!
Do you really need to keep swearing. Apart from being a 2 faced pro Muslim Anti gay lying hypocrite. Aren't you supposed to set an example?

Or should they follow their comedic instinct when it’s telling them to let rip? After all, humour is by nature subversive
it has always been an important part of political discourse.
maybe a joke becomes unacceptable when it dehumanises minorities or incites violence.
Does it matter that the intent behind a gag is benign if the consequences of telling it are harmful? // https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000611c

Delingpole: The BBC Leadership Debate Had a Clear Winner – Farage’s Campaign to Scrap the TV Licence Fee
“I really wish I could make it clear one day, how very much I loathe the BBC and pretty much all who sail in her. But unfortunately, it makes me so angry that words tend to fail me.”
The Tory yawn leaders debate .
I’m trying to get the thought process of the beeboid running the show.

The BBC report does not inform the readership how the encouragement of violent acts does not need to be punished when the incitement comes from a fat old lefty rather than silly teenagers
Teenage neo-Nazis jailed over terror offences
Suggested targets included non-white and Jewish people, and the effect was to overtly encourage lone acts of violence against members of the public, the judge added
Similarly plod recognises the dangers of incitement, except when perpetrated by fat old lefty
Det Chief Supt Martin Snowden, head of counter terrorism policing in the north-east of England, said Dunn-Koczorowski and Szewczuk clearly saw themselves as superior to the majority of society and they felt it was their duty to express their beliefs, in turn teaching others.
He told the BBC “it only takes one individual to be encouraged or be inspired by that propaganda to take that further step” and this “represents a significant risk”.

First?? Help! I have to find an on-topic headline [scramble, scan, surf…] – ah, here’s another one from The Express:
https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1141966/abc-tv-licence-over-75s-furious-pensioners-protest

Really.
No questions asked by Mishal, I note.

Soapy Sopel, Socialist Spokesman is not happy.

But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free.

With the obvious demographics . The political fraud . And with the

God had “numbered” the kingdom of Belshazzar and brought it to an end; that the king had been weighed and found wanting; and that his kingdom was divided and given to the Medes and Persians (Dan. v. 1-28).
“Medes and Persians” – Sunni and Shia I suppose.

Darn i had to read the whole Times article which is essentially Gove writing a job application
Times Comments not useful, There is something weird going on
very very few in the comments or on Twitter address the points in the actual Gove article.
The article starts with a massive attack on Corbyn
‘The new PM should take on Corbyn & believe in Brexit’
“I led the Leave campaign”
(yeh but then you stabbed Boris so we got Remainer May as PM)
‘track record .. to deliver change’

Would bore-cow really want to cut his holiday just to stop Brexit?
Time for a new speaker I think

“the ‘ legitimacy’ noise is just going to go on and on”
May was castigated for calling an election – at least she was able to shut up one noisy corner. There’s no pleasing some people.
Brown – needs to be at the tip of the tongue any time a lack of legitimacy is raised.

I really don’t see how they could stop Brexit. As far as I am aware we leave by default on the 31st October. The incoming PM doesn’t have to do anything for that deadline to expire, surely?

No coal, but no soul either!

“Leadership debate: BBC defends vetting process after imam’s tweets”
“Alleged” antisemitic tweets that somehow State Broadcaster can’t show yet they appear on this thread.

Anyway, that’s what I think.

8pm Radio4 Censorship of Humour : Moral Maze
\\ Jo Brand has not been sacked by the BBC – unlike Danny Baker after his apparently ‘racist’ tweet last month.
Guardians of free speech worry about the policing of humour and the erosion of the right to offend.
Jokes can be deemed to trivialise political violence, encourage hatred and excuse rape.
do comedians have a social responsibility to rein themselves in,
Or should they follow their comedic instinct when it’s telling them to let rip? After all, humour is by nature subversive
it has always been an important part of political discourse.
maybe a joke becomes unacceptable when it dehumanises minorities or incites violence.
Does it matter that the intent behind a gag is benign if the consequences of telling it are harmful? //

Imagine if Boris were to call Scottish Nationalists racists – would Bercow let that one go?
