I can’t believe that after two whole days the BBC are still going on about Trump suggesting buying Greenland as if he was a Nasty Meglomaniac!
It was so obviously a tongue-in-cheek wind-up.
The man is a very naughty genius and he has got days of repetitive publicity from this at the expense of our national broadcaster as well as the gullible Government in the Netherlands…
You really would think this would be filtered out and simply reported as an aside by any sensible group of people yet they swallowed it hook line and sinker because they wanted to try desperately to embellish and use it make him look as foolish as possible.
Quite the reverse Ha! Ha! Ha!
The bias is so, so deep it’s breathtaking!
I also bet Greenland (which I just bought!) that Trump does not sit at his laptop in his pyjamas at night tapping out this stuff.
I bet it was written by one of Trumps 20-something social team too!
On the other hand it would make a hell of a golf course!
It has been suggested in the Mail that Trump should forget Greenland and buy the UK
RICHARD LITTLEJOHN: Forget Greenland, why doesn’t Donald Trump buy Great Britain?
Sorry Mr President , it has already been bought lock stock and barrel by the Saudis.
Pharma drugs meds shortages again . Why can’t they do something new ? Any drugs shortage can be dealt with by the ‘ county lines ‘ boys who seem to have a talent for distribution .
I’ve got one – brexit will cause a dormant volcano to erupt and cause an earthquake and sunami together with a plague of locusts.

They do not even drink tea, as all proper tea is theft, I’ll get me coat
Bet the BBC are feeling smug over the way they have drip fed biased Brexit doom and gloom to the British public over. However people aren’t as stupid or gullible as they believe They don’t forget easily, and they’re not stupid. What goes around comes around…..
Apologies if covered above.
But I hope readers have noticed that the Office for National Statistics have reported that they have underestimated EU immigration into the UK by around 30,000 a year ever since 2004.
‘…ever since 2004’ Sluff? Can’t be right. Surely that should read ‘since 2010’ – it’s a Tory mismanagement problem, after all. Any suggestion that the civil service infrastructure required to ensure fictitious statistics was established under Tone and Gord is simply another vile calumny. The BBC will have none of it.
Taffman,
I spotted that as well. Bet it didn’t appear on the 6 o’clock news, or any o’clock news for that matter.
Do you think if I produced a report claiming my hayfever was caused by Brexit and ‘leaked’ it to the BBC i’d get a mention?
‘200,000 homeless children herded into used shipping containers’ or words to that effect. Quite shocking. Shades of slamming doors, Dachau etc, etc.
Except… the containers are fully converted, effectively the equivalent of static ‘mobile’ homes and provide a viable, effective and sensible answer to a major housing problem.
Not as good as the first impression though, especially on radio…
Container ‘Cities’ planned?
I would suggest that the containers are left on the deep sea ships that transport them and house the immigrants in them. And by the way, first stop Tripoli………………
So, basically, Hijab Whinger #746,985 and her idiot MSM facilitators are full of it and rightly getting zero traction. Whoever is Home Sec this week, please note.
News today has highlighted the plight of those living in converted shipping containers. All are of foreign persuasion, one couple arrived in 2014 from Somalia expecting to be housed in a 2 bed flat , another arrived in 1996 from Kenya and has 4 children but no father around.
I remember these containers being hailed as a great recycling engineering, where those in need had a roof over their heads instead of walking the streets.
I’m not saying ‘what do they expect’, but would we pitch up in the capital city of another European city and expect to be housed ? try doing that in Paris I say. I wouldn’t live in London for a kings ransom, but many would love to, especially those that have to commute for their jobs everyday. Yet there are hundreds of thousands that are somehow able to live in tower blocks or tree lined avenues paid for by the local authorities, while the rest of the indigenous population can go swivel.
"Living here is very difficult for any type of family."@Noel_Phillips meets a family living in a converted shipping container in Ealing, offered to them as temporary accommodation. Mother Lulu Akubaker says it's not fit for people to live in. https://t.co/0C1OuYnYecpic.twitter.com/X2rtdFoVp3
I used to live in a tiny room in Ealing in the 1980s, with a shared kitchen and bathroom. I would have loved one of these container homes, which are really a sort of prefab, not like shipping containers at all.
I suppose I just don’t have a sufficient sense of entitlement.
BRISSLES, I read a report about this in the “Metro” newspaper where a “homeless refugee” from Sudan was complaining that the living conditions were “worse than Eretrea and Sudan”. She was apparently having to wash her child on the floor with cups of water because the child was too big to fit in the sink.
I wonder how and where she used to wash the child back home or if she had the fully fitted kitchenette and furnished accommodation. Talk about ungrateful.
Oh and look at the way the Metro were singing the praises to these “entrepreneurs” when they were going to convert these containers and house “Bristols homeless”
This is the con, you see, making everyone believe that these ideas are for our indigenous homeless. But it’s a lie and these people get the freebies for which they are ungrateful whilst the actual “Bristol homeless” and veterans sleep in shop doorways.
Have a look how well these containers are knitted out. I bet most real Bristol homeless would be eternally grateful for somewhere like this to lay their heads.
Funny they weren’t complaining about the containers they were hiding in at Calais to get into the country.
That’s it Dyst ! I knew I had read about this somewhere.
We can but hope that if the mother and her children feel that conditions are better in Eretrea and Sudan than her living conditions and benefits can offer her here, then perhaps there is a gap in the market for people trafficking the other way – back to Africa !!!!
My thoughts exactly. Their sense of entitlement is astounding to say they have supposedly fled for their lives.
It will no doubt be the same idiots who are shouting about this “injustice”, who will be complaining about young people not being able to afford housing in this country and complaining about lack of school places and hospital beds.
Standing in the lift at a certain Govt place today listening to two or three going on and on about vegetarianism for 8 floors and how nice veggie burgers are…. they left and I was left with one old boy and turned to him and remarked I am half vegetarian I only eat animals that eat vegetables, he said when asked how do you want your steak he says just cut the head off and wipe the arse, hope there was no CCTV as probably hate speech or whatever
UK Press Gazette has a report about David Cameron . You might remember that David Cameron was once a British Prime Minister .
Since leaving office he has been submerged patrolling the worlds ‘ oceans but now he is to surface in order to sell his book which might be called ‘ no ifs no butts’.
Apparently Cameron’s first interview will be on ITV around 19 September and May be John Humphreys last interview before retiring to count his pension .
No third runway, well done just seen the proposals by heathrow for greenbelt village land used as pits to be dug for soil for a third runway with no mitigation proposed for the fleets of trucks taking it and what they wll do afterwards with the land
David Cameron. Oh yes that Prime Minister who said that, if we voted Brexit, it would mean leaving the single market, leaving the customs union and leaving the jurisdiction of the ECJ.
All the thing the remoaners say we didn’t vote for.
The same David Cameron who said that if we voted to leave he would implement our decision the following day, but then bottled it.
Had he stuck to his word he could have been remembered as one of the greatest Prime Ministers in history who led us to freedom. Instead he, like May is just another failure.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants you to listen to her but she won't listen to you. NO one answers the phone in her D.C. office; instead, an automated voice orders you to go to her website. But…the website doesn't answer back either.https://t.co/y3UFJSzxac
BBC, ITV, Sky etc, It’d be great if next time Nicola Sturgeon/SNP high ups are on your shows, grill them about their fiscal irresponsibility (⬇️⬇️) or eh their school/health failures? They seem to be allowed free hits on UK govt without tough questioning on their record in return https://t.co/B4UW3tdKE3
Despite that, I have far more faith in one who displays those simple human peccadilloes than someone who despises Jews and refuses to acknowedge this as racism and allows it to flourish yet having the authority to prevent it and take action within his own party, and also panders to intolerant muslims for their votes

Despite all of the reassurance from the CEGB, Greenpeace still given a mouthpiece courtesy of the BBC. to say it was rigged.
Then as impartial as ever…..
“Isn’t it just possible that some engineers might have pulled a few bolts or adjusted things to give a favourable result?”
I think this was the point when I began to notice all was not as it seemed at Aunty beeb
I remember working in the plastics industry and Greenpeace demonstrating outside our place about a certain plasticiser the the EU decided “MAY” be harmful, for some reason with no evidence, we did not even use this plasticiser but facts have never bothered them
Working on a US project we surprised to see that California classed ‘Loctite’ as carinogenic. This is the stuff used a drop at a time to stop nuts and bolts working loose.
When we pulled up the data sheet it turned out that a very small percentage of ‘Loctite’ is saccharin, the artificial sweetner. Turns out that 50% of rats developed tumours once they have eated 60kg of the stuff!
“know carcinogen” is a BS term
cos everything is on the list
cos everything including the SUN has the potential to give you cancer so it’s on the list
But it is the context and dosage that counts
And most will not give you cancer in normal use.
Phthalates have been thoroughly studied and reviewed by a number of government scientific agencies and regulatory bodies world-wide and these agencies have concluded that phthalates used in commercial products do not pose a risk to human health at typical exposure levels. Information collected by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention over the last 10 years indicates that, despite the fact that phthalates are used in many products, exposure is extremely low—significantly lower than any levels of concern set by regulatory agencies.
In September 2012, the National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) of the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing joined regulatory bodies in the United States and Europe that have found that current uses of DINP in consumer products are not expected to pose a risk to human health.
In 2013, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) reaffirmed the safety of DINP and DIDP for use in all current applications.
The U.S. National Toxicology Program’s Center for the Evaluation of Risks to Human Reproduction concluded that there was “minimal concern” regarding risk of developmental or reproductive effects from current exposure levels to DINP, and there was “minimal concern” regarding risk of developmental effects and “negligible concern” regarding risk of reproductive effects from current exposure levels to DIDP.
Worth a protest though, plastic bad, so no leather for vegans, no plastic, back to clogs I suppose although not hard wood, oh, barefoot I suppose just in case, back to the stone age although there we go anyone with any science education may know about the radioactive properties of granite…..damn,what will they do……die out I suppose, with their morals engraved upon their dolphin friendly grave “markers”
Cultural suicide, as we are doing inviting muslims into our coutry so many of whom despise us and our culture yet celebrated and feted by the MSM and our lefties, oh how they have such a death wish

I hope you got your coat over your earlier comments – particularly about ‘proper tea’????Would be interesting if any animal was shown to have a ‘conscience ‘
Just on the upside , not related to biased BBC – the crowdfunding for the memory of the murdered policeman has now reached £254,000. I hope the money goes where it is needed and intended….
What will those barstewards at the bbc talk about after we have left the EUSSR? Do you know, I don’t give a sh1t because my license expires in 10 days and I will NEVER pay them another penny. Over the last 3 years I have learned to loathe, abhor and despise MSM and all they stand for.
No license paid here so I only know what the BBC are up to through word of mouth or through their website which is biased alone.
I mean in the past 7 days I have witnessed them endorse the Labour Party over Corbyn’s helpful remain unity alliance or whatever they are calling it.
Lots of misquotations on Johnson’s activities. Maybe they are trying to tone down the fact that no deal is very close and thus do not want to weaken the remain side any further?
Ian
The day after we leave the campaign to rejoin the EU will begin. The loon who shouts out about Brexit will just change a word or two ,
I’d like to read someone objective ( pro brexit ) who could game out the effect of separate economic pathways between the ReichEU and Blighty – and the effect s.
A Tory ex minister ( forgotten his name ) on Toady this morning mentioned how much goods from Eire transit through the `UK and onwards – and what a negative effect it will have on their economy .
The current Eire PM will pay the price but it will be high if Eire is adversely affected – unless they see sense and pull out of the EU – which as I write – suggests that we will get the blame for any thing bad that happens .
I just hope there is not a sniff in the air of extending A50 again with bojo saying ‘because we are near an agreement ‘- which will really mean take to the streets as we are sold out again ( the state monitors of this site can note that in their ‘tension report ‘) .

To be fair Humberside radio/TV today has featured local farmers talking positively about Brexit
The featured one had a Slavic name and accent (Bulgarian says the internet)
America first attempted to buy Greenland in 1867. President Franklin Roosevelt made Greenland an American protectorate in 1941, and in 1946, President Trump-erm-Truman offered a hundred million dollars to buy Greenland. Then on the 23rd February 1982, in the Greenlandic European Communities membership referendum, 53% voted to leave. So less than three years later on the 1st February 1985, Greenland left the EU.
If Britain leaves without a deal then the EU will collapse because it wont get its £39 Billion and also lose its massive trade surplus with Britain. Germanys economy with collapse bringing down the bankrupt banks in Italy. Everything in the EU will get more expensive as they put up tariff walls, and the Euro then collapses. Britain wont have to obey laws meant to make imports more expensive than French food. So Britain can trade with friendlier nations by removing tariffs and having real free trade deals with faster growing countries elsewhere in the world.
A bureaucracy to legislate and regulate trade and build walls to keep out external trade but not free movement of people, and call that “free trade” and democratic is loony. With Germany having only six broken down U-Boats, and the Royal Navy with HMS Queen Elizabeth. We could easily win any trade war. The RAF last bombed Berlin on the 21st April 1945, and the British Army last took Brussels on the 4th September 1944.
“ Ditch cars to meet climate change targets, say MPs
There’s a stark warning from MPs over climate change: people will have to get out of their cars if the UK is to meet targets on emissions from transport. “Widespread personal vehicle ownership does not appear to be compatible with significant decarbonisation,” according to the Science and Technology Select Committee, which argues that replacing existing cars with cleaner versions will prove insufficient. It wants improvements to public transport, alongside incentives to share cars, walk or cycle. The AA takes issue, suggesting the MPs underestimate the power of new technology. Ministers say the UK is going “further and faster” to tackle climate change than any other major economy.”
Whilst grammatically correct, I have noticed the bbc does like collective terms that suggest a totality out of a fraction. It is ‘some MPs’ in a committee. Probably with noted bicycle rider Lammy involved.
No mention of how such a move would impact the car industry, or indeed economy, Brexit or not.
GW above, et al.
There was a very good article by Tom Welsh in the Telegraph last week suggesting UK public transport use may have peaked. He goes on to say…..’It would be many transport policymakers’ worst nightmare, a blow to their ideological dream of a car-free future where the hyper-individualism of the motor vehicle is replaced with the collectivist misery of mass transit. They clothe car hatred in green arguments, but the fact that many of them are opposed to electric vehicles shows their true intentions’.
If you accept this basic premise, then a lot of transport policy is neatly explained.
And since this article was written, they have announce the review of the black expenditure hole some know as HS2.
GW,
“Ministers say the UK is going “further and faster” to tackle climate change than any other major economy.” That’s what you get when the state purse is left open on the table to anyone who wishes to steal money.
“tackling” something that has progressed over Billennia, regardless of what, or who inhabits the planet should be interesting to watch.
The plan must be to systematically remove all life, starting with humanity, and return the planet to its infant state of being a lump of barren rock. Perhaps they’d be happy then…
Emissions are not a problem, nor is CO2 – in fact we could do with 100% more than we have already, ideally.
The truth is, there is NO climate emergency, disaster, or problem, or anything else of significant concern. It’s all made up to foster an agenda of scaring the populace into compliance. It has always been thus, and it used to work – but thanks largely to the internet, it doesn’t work any more.
In the end, they’ll become tired of pleading, shaming, bribing and cajoling, and begin enforcing. That’s the time to be worried.
Humph chats to a couple of frog MPs who sound eager for UK to leave their corrupt little FrancoGerman club badged as the EU.
I think The shaky German did we brexiters a big favour yesterday by talking about a 30day renegotiation period to sort out the backstop taking us to mid September .
The renegotiation will fail because no one want to build a control at the EIre NI border . So by the time the negotiations fail it will be too late to avoid our exit .
Our French Government enemies were sounding like they want revenge on UK one way or another .
At least we can have a legal “ buybritish ‘ campaign soon without breaching EU law.- and start seizing illegal French fishing boats .
Naga really is a nasty, odious , self centred piece of work. If you ever read any reviews of BBC Breakfast on any sites, 99% of reviewers cannot abide our Naga !!! But, she ticks a box, so job for life.
Further to my post yesterday about the fact that lately on BBC TV
news when the general public are interviewed about topics. be it
the weather on Bournemouth beach, The train service outside
Kings Cross, knife crime, Brexit, housing in containers etc.The first person
interviewed is nearly always a lady dressed in a burka.
I just wondered is it possible that the BBC has employed a lady
with a certain dress code to do their agenda virtue signalling in
answering topical questions?
Humbly suggest that anyone who refers to the President of the United States (contemptible though he is) as “Mr Chlorinated Chicken himself, Donald Trump” should NOT be Head of News for any television network with a public remit and duty of impartiality. https://t.co/vylISl6Vpk
If that creature is the head of C4 news one might know where their consistently hostile attitude to anything to which they do not agree .
Listening to her on Toady the arrogance just poured out of the radio .
There is a list of those who have given the Mctaggart speech and this lady claimed that one of the men who had previously given the speech deserved a ‘ come uppance ‘ for alleged sexual stuff he had done .
The list includes John Humphreys . And a lot more chaps . I’d be a bit miffed if I was on the list , innocent , but now tainted by her allegation .
I expect that if you look at her CV it will be –
BBC – C4 – BBC – C4 but with some lefty commercial stuff like the dire Sky .
Video of the German visit by Boris. Ex-Royal Navy myself, I found the triumphant cheering at the start by my Kriegsmarine colleagues somewhat disturbing. But that’s the way they do things over there.
I hope Boris visits a few of our war graves over there, just to remind them.
I sense a Climate Change Emergency coming from the BBC next week as the weatherman last night informed me that if as expected, the temps reach 30 degrees on Monday, it will indeed be the hottest late August Bank Holiday on record !!!
Now , we know how the BBC love a “hottest ever” and will inevitably link it to their pet love Climate Change, but will they mention just how shite and COOL the weather has been for the past few weeks , you know, just for balance ??? Will they eckers like !!
I think we have had 3 spells of Hot weather this summer, and ALL of them will have coincided with high pressure sitting out to the East and low pressure to the West, therefore dragging up unusual winds direct from the South, (africa in summer) causing the heat. Absolutely, the square root of jack, to do with Climate Change.
Get your tin hats on next week, the BBC Climate Change Lecture department are going to be in overdrive.
Doob – the MSM is gradually adopting American hyperbole disease – the biggest greatest wot not since records began in a one in a generation / life time kind of a way ….
So they can field other views when they decide it suits?
Asked by regional BBC station to discuss falling vaccination rates – grand, except they wanted me on against someone claiming vaccines are dangerous. Explained this was textbook false balance, unethical, & against BBC trust guidelines. They wouldn't budge, so I'm not doing it????
I remember them doing a similar session on Jeremy Vine, in the studio was some batty female ‘celebrity’ and ‘down the line’ a media-naive ‘old white man’ with thirty years experience of vaccination.
The female, whose craft is being presentable, got every opportunity to interupt, probably being able to silence Vine just by tilting her head, while the poor ‘expert’ had to be invited to join in with his nervous stutter.
It’s like a modern-day gladiator contest, in the red corner a six-foot gladiator with armour, sword and net, in the blue corner a starving slave with a loin cloth. One can always tell which one the Empress has her money on!
Grimes “I am with the suitmakers, who made the Emperor’s new suit, there is no way this small boy should be allowed onto the BBC to give his opinion”
… You see the whole idea of shouting “false balance” is a logical fallacy
The little guys opinion is not equivalent to the experts ..it can be BETTER
and the little guy pays the taxes.
Grimes is right that the little guy should vaccinate his kids
but Grimes technique is ounterproductive.
I have met Grimes and I am appalled that he is working at Oxford
cos he working with the Science Skeptics yet doesn’t actually understand how Science Skepticism works
He did a theory about Conspiracy Theories, yet it was junk cos he made a basic maths mistake.
Breakfast with Charlie’n’Naga happy to chat to well-groomed if sniggery ex-ambassador to Paris Sir Peter Westmacott and amid the occasional guffaws on Brexit, the Great Man suggested a close and harmonious working relationship between Sarkozy and Gordon Brown.
Obviously a diplomat and one happy to distort reality for the sake of his country – or pension.
Disappointing absence of project Fear on the BBC today . I think Macron will do their work for them. He’ll have been on the blower to to his German boss last night being told what to tell BoJo .
I’m predicting the last reasonably quiet weekend on the brexit front before the tanned bubble returns next weekend ….
Macron gives Boris a smack in the mouth prior to their meeting later today. Says the BBC.
‘Boris Johnson is to meet Emmanuel Macron later, hours after the French president insisted reopening negotiations is “not an option”.
Macron is also concerned on behalf of the British people who do not want vassalage under the US with Trump’s deal.
Looks to me that Boris will only be able to negotiate some kind of joint statement to present some kind of assurance that May’s deal has been revised.
Come on Nigel, get ready for the election and no deals with the Brexit Party and the Tories.
Much better than being on the streets i imagine, wonder if anyone, anyone at all at the BBC / Channel 4 etc, puts the lack of housing and uncontrolled immigration together ??? Thought not !!!
Like the ones you reported on earlier this year? But they seemed like a good idea then, no concerns about their suitability from the BBC then #FakeNewshttps://t.co/k22Gs1ivoq
These contraptions don’t seem to be hugely different to the old pre-fabs erected during the war. They were built as emergency accommodation for our own bombed out folk.
Now that we’re looking after every Tom, Dick, Abdul…and his eighteen wives we’re bound to have housing shortages so we’ve adopted this method.
Lots of people loved the old pre-fabs. They were grateful for what they could get. An old school mate of mine lived in one and I always thought they were cosy and interesting.
Of course if you’ve washed up on our shores possessing only a begging bowl and a chip on your shoulder then you’re more likely to complain.
Meanwhile we have old soldiers living on the streets…
Are these the same as the 70 year old prefabs near me ? The ones that are lovingly cared for with gardens and ornaments outside lived in by British people who for generations have lived in what are fancy plywood homes without bitterment or a sense of entitlement…….are they like these ?????
My mum was bombed out and landed up in a prefab in Epping Forest which is apparently where I started off .
She liked it but got spooked by the trees . Townies eh?
Converted containers seem pretty good recycling to me . Better than a tower block with cladding …
You ungrateful, selfish and rude person. We were born in the middle of wars with rockets falling down on our cities, and you complain that the UK has given you a safe place to live? Have her sleep beside homeless people for a night then interview her. pic.twitter.com/u0GO0lz48X
Can those containers function in their original role as shipping containers? A crane lifts them on to the lorry and they are driven to the docks, loaded on a boat and off they go a far better land than racist Britain.
Yes, but the black reporter didn’t help matters by showing the ‘dire’ living conditions – which given the amount of rubbish and black bin bags they had stockpiled, seemed quite roomy !
Dean Baquet on Trump / Russia: “Our readers who want Donald Trump to go away suddenly thought, ‘Holy shit, Bob Mueller is not going to do it.’ And Donald Trump got a little emboldened politically, I think. Because, you know, for obvious reasons. And I think that the story changed.”
On the readership of the NYT: “They sometimes want us to pretend that he was not elected president, but he was elected president […] and our job is to figure out why, and how, and to hold the administration to account. If you’re independent, that’s what you do.”
No evidence of collusion found in Mueller report = “The story changed.” (Some people did something??)
I note that when the goodies pursue an agenda rather than abide by neutral accurate reporting, this is referred to honourably as ‘holding power to account’.
When the baddies pursue an agenda rather than abide by neutral accurate reporting, this is referred to scoffingly as ‘speaking to your base’ or ‘weaponising facts’.
Did my ears deceive me this morning while listening to the news on BBC Radio 5 Live when it said:
Merkel has given Boris 30 days to come up with a solution.
He’s been “given”
What the!?
Looks like we’ve been duped again boys and girls.
Expect Boris to use the same jet that May used for his repeat return flights to Strasburg over the next 30 days.
Merkel hasn’t changed, the UK government hasn’t changed, the 17 and one half million leave voters hasn’t changed – more than likely its near to 18 million now we know how much the UK has been betrayed by perhaps 90% of MPs.
Orders “given” to come up with a solution in 30 days were even after 3 years they didn’t have a clue – nothings changed.
v,
‘nothings changed’, exactly.
Except, it appears Johnson has blinked first and the ball is back in his court. Or, has he just got an A* in deviousness and he knows that he has no chance of producing an alternate scenario in the timescale given drawing us ever closer to D Day?
Also, very wary of the way he concentrates on the irish border problem only and not a jot of comment regarding the rest of the poison contained within the WA.
Still keeping the pitchfork within hands reach.

BBC fairly keen on shipping container homes in this article, probably because it gives them an opportunity to use words like ‘alternative’ and ‘radical’:

Ditto in this story about housing homeless people in Brighton in October 2013:

BTW:

Bbc moaning emole:
Linked piece: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-49425402?
It’s a Harrabin, so have a pinch of salt ready.

Agree.
Bet the green lady in parliament shudders at the thought of the following green Party manifesto leaking out:
As I understand it the greens are more interested in the following which was on their manifesto this year if its been changed I doubt it.
1) religious instruction in schools will banned.
2)church schools will be stripped of taxpayers money.
3)trade & cultivation of cannabis will be de-crimalised.
4) assisted dying will be legalised.
5)monarchy abolished.
6) the military eventually abolished.
7) shooting banned.
etc etc.
The above is what the greens want in place if they gain some kind of bit-power in the next GE.

“tackling” something that has progressed over Billennia, regardless of what, or who inhabits the planet should be interesting to watch.

“Decarbonisation” – made up word with no meaning.

The head of C4 is complaining that young people don’t watch TV any more but do ‘ Netflix and porn ‘
In respond new exciting diverse programmes have been commissioned – I got the following line from the Social daily newspaper – the Guardian –
“Lady Parts about an all-female Muslim punk band, and a drama called Generation Z about baby boomers turning into zombies.”
A great future for c4 ….
Maybe close it and put the money saved into cutting the TV licence for those who pay it .

I can’t put it better than this.

NYT Executive Editor last week in an interesting leak revealing bias and tailored reporting to their readership.

It seems to me at that all the main issues in this country that the BBC rant about day in, day out, would all be solved by a reduction in population?

Yes, that’s the plan. Only it’s the white middle aged folk they want to eradicate.

Same picture used by the Daily Mirror two hours earlier and the Belfast Telegraph.
Girls are a protected species, regardless of colour. The girl on the left, Grace Murray, seems to be a media star in Norwich.
