Weekend Thread 12 October 2019

Is the watered down version of Brexit coming ? The biased state broadcaster continues to run out Project Fear each day , the Brexit Party is marginalised and Brexit supporters – if they get onto the State Broadcaster – are outnumbered or shut down .
The crucial time is coming – again . Meanwhile hysterical planet savers get a free pass as they screw up other people’s’ lives .

        – in fact – sad me – there isn’t any British Airways at London city where the idiot got onto the plane . They are all care free agency staff . It’s my local airport and the difference in standards is huge .

In a real world that bloke would be doing a year – paid for by himself – and charged the cost of the delay which would be tens of thousands . Instead he ll get a ‘ caution ‘ or free pass…

    Does this sound familiar?

Majed Hassan Ashoor, the First Secretary at the Saudi Arabian embassy in New Delhi, was accused in 2015 of raping two Nepalese maids under his employment for over three months. Indian Police eventually rescued the women, who said the man would constantly bring over guests, seven or eight at a time, and they would all take turns raping the women. Doctors examined the women after police rescued them and found infections, bruises, and other damage to sensitive areas, corroborating their accounts.

No arrests have been made, with the Saudi Embassy claiming the reports are false and condemning the Indian government for raiding the diplomatic property to rescue the women. Amid all these events, the diplomat quickly fled to the safety of home.

      Well surprise surprise.
It’s going on all over the Middle East and, as this case shows, in embassies elsewhere. And of course in our very own Londonistan where the occasional story of Arabs abusing domestic workers (slaves) makes the news, quickly hushed up by Al-beeb who only take offence at slavery when it’s white on black in the distant past, never brown (muslim) on brown, in the present.

I suppose if your ‘religion’ (I use the term loosely) tells you that infidel women are the lowest of the low and deserving nothing but contempt, and if your ‘prophet’ himself bought, sold, captured, owned slaves, and in at least one case had sex with one; and if the tradition continues even into the present, then they’re fair game and why not use them for pleasure?

      https://www.meforum.org/4855/muhammad-and-islam-sex-slaves

      – “During Muhammad’s jihad on the Jews of Khaybar, he took for himself from among the spoils of war one young woman, a teenager, Safiya bint Huyay, after hearing of her beauty. (Earlier the prophet had bestowed her on another Muslim jihadi, but when rumor of her beauty reached him, the prophet reneged and took her for himself.)

Muhammad “married” Safiya hours after he had her husband, Kinana, tortured to death in order to reveal hidden treasure. And before this, the prophet’s jihadis slaughtered Safiya’s father and brothers.

…After the death of Muhammad, Safiya confessed that “Of all men, I hated the prophet the most—for he killed my husband, my brother, and my father,” before “marrying” (or, less euphemistically, raping) her. ” –

Warfare, slavery, rape, torture and murder. What a lovely religion of peace.

Al Beeb and the swamp/ blob still going on about lorries being held up at Dover and Calais .
Why don’t they ask the respective organisations , the Road Haulage Association ( RHA ) and the Freight Transport Association ( FTA) what percentage of their members go abroad ? The answer could be a round figure ; 0 .
Why don’t they report that the Polish equivalent of the RHA met the Calais authorities who assured them their trucks , about 40% of cross channel traffic , would not be affected ?
That even the FTA , the most staid , orthodox and predictable of organisations has said delays would be minimal . That’s equivalent to the Amish abandoning horse and carts for a Tesla .
Well anyway BBC , well done in ignoring the loss of jobs and businesses , as well as a way of life every bit as communal as coal mining villages, but you now take an interest when Brits aren’t involved . But then , that was working class people , it’s far more important to worry about universities and lecturers not
    earning enough .
A bit like the Labour Party . Power to the people after power to the professors .

BBC Radio. Is it me? or has BBC radio deteriorated to such an extent its become a parody of itself. I must admit I have fled BBC radio to Classic FM and LBC and I put up with the Ads even though I find them annoying its a fair swop for good content. When I tune into BBC radio its stuck in a time warp of repetition and ‘set’ pieces where if its ‘comedy ‘ – you know where its going. Drama is all about ‘victims’ dilemma or middle class vexation on the Archers on the new queer in town. And then there is the persons of colour, even on the radio, the sheer ignorance of presenters shine though completely swamping whatever topic with stupid interrupts and ‘me-too’ comments, as if we were all in the same ‘loop’ of victim-hood or accusation ‘commentary’, which is tiring, argumentative and largely pointlessness. Only the BBC has the time and money to prop up a bad radio show. Even Radio 3 which has plummeted to new depths of ‘World music’ and frankly obscure ‘folksy’ style ‘musa’k (of African dirge) is enough to argue that the BBC has lost the entire plot of running any radio stations in this country. I would argue that post BREXIT we rid the BBC of its burden. They can keep the SOUNDS network app or whatever they want to call it. In doing so all the radio stations can be privatised and sold off to REAL people (Community radio is my favourite) who are passionate about proper local radio and provide much more choice, even if its with some Ad breaks. At least its NOT a demand for a RADIO license linked to a TV license as we now have via a private debt collector. The BBC cannot go on like this despising us all – and charging us all top money for a pathetic patchwork of ‘right-on-lefties’ propaganda and hopeless batch commentators who command bank breaking salaries, ‘because they’re worth it’ as they say so. Frankly they’re not worth much to begin with and paying them more does not improve the output. The BBC is mired in misfortune of its own making. Only deaf die-hards listen to the BBC now, I was one once. I feel so much better turning anything BBC orientated OFF. And that includes TV. It really is the best advice I can give to children protesting on the streets in London huddled over the radio tuned to the BBC whilst eating Macdonald’s and chips thinking they are saving the planet. I am having to write this as my Car Radio is stuck on BBC Radio 1, 2, 3 and 4 (only) and I cannot turn to any other stations!!! and its driving me mad if I don’t just turn the thing OFF. Boy do we need a better alternative to the BBC. We have the technology to provide hundreds of far better stations with commercial operators that have proved over the years, they can do it better, cheaper and offer a choice.

Phil, I’ve recently changed cars and now have a radio that can tune into Talk Radio. It’s like a breath of fresh air to listen to a station that doesn’t have an agenda. You get to hear both sides of the argument and don’t have to put up with endless crap. And JHB is a joy to listen to in the morning.

I used to play a game with my daughter. I’d tune into R4 (or R5), and see how long before we heard the words ‘muslim’, ‘trans’, ‘LGBT’ etc. And surprise, surprise, it would usually be less than a minute or two!

And when my wife said ‘but you have to put up with the ads’ (although not with JHB), I simply pointed out, how many times do you hear repeated trailers on BBC radio for the same old trash they churn out – about the same amount of time as Talk Radio’s ads!

    Saturdays TV:
    (1) 1pm: Channel 235: Chairman of the Brexit Party, Richard Tice, talks about the merits of “No Deal“ at the Oxford Union. While on the BBC there is a program about Takeaways.
    (2) 6.50pm: Channel 5: Secrets of Underground Britain: Rob Bell visit’s the Yorkshire Dales: On the BBC lots of homosexuals and ethnics can be seen dancing on the dance floor.
    (3) 8pm: Channel 4: Great British Car Journeys: Christopher Timothy and Peter Davison travel from Scarborough to the Yorkshire Dales in a Morgan. On the BBC lots of homosexuals and ethnics can still be seen dancing on the dance floor.
    (4) 9pm: Channel 5: Great Warships: The development of the Aircraft Carrier by Britain from World War One, up till the Ark Royal in World War Two. The BBC has a Black in charge of a bunch of Communist Education Yobs, or what the BBC calls com-ed-y.

Has there ever been a case in History were those trying to unite Europe have ever respected democracy. No, Freedom has only come from those who are prepared to fight for it.

This is how Quisling (Bercow) collaborates with the Germans.

Quisling (Bercow) visits the studios of the NBC (BBC) and makes a radio broadcast proclaiming himself Prime Minister and ordering all resistance to halt at once. The next day, the German ambassador demands that the Monarch formally appoints Quisling (Bercow) as Prime Minister. The Monarch stalls for time, telling the ambassador that a Monarch could not make political decisions on their own authority. At a Cabinet meeting later that night, the Monarch says, I can not in good conscience appoint Quisling (Bercow) as Prime Minister, because the people have no confidence in him. The Monarch states that they would abdicate rather than appoint a government headed by that pro-German collaborator and traitor, Quisling (Bercow). Quisling (Bercow) tries to have the Cabinet arrested, but the officer he instructed to carry out the arrest ignores the warrant and the Monarch and the Cabinet escape to freedom in Britain (Canada). Quisling’s (Bercows) “National Government” puppet regime collaborates with the Germans for five years, but the German attempt to unite Europe fails as the Canadians with a Free British Army, the Russians and Americans free Europe. Quisling (Bercow) is executed by firing squad. Other Nazi (Remainer) collaborators, as well as Germans accused of war crimes, are also arrested and punished.

FE2 – “Is a watered down version of Brexit coming?”

Very likely – my reasons are this. Like many here I was very surprised when the BBC broadcast “Brexit: Behind Closed Doors” I wondered at the time was our proven treacherous state broadcaster celebrating the EU “victory” too early with a bit of “tory bashing” thrown in – well maybe.

What was for sure it certainly did not portray the EU in a good light and when we got to the bit with the “evil” Verhofstadt saying words to the effect “With ze Irish backstop ve haf finally turned zem into a colony – ha ha ha ha ha ha.” All he needed was a white cat to stroke.

This got me thinking (dangerous) – what it neatly did was get everyone concentrating on the “backstop” rather than the rest of Mays “giveaway deal”

My prediction is that the the backstop is a sacrificial lamb, a straw man, a stage, so the politicians can act out a “negotiation panto” for our own benefit.

At the end of the day Boris will win his “battle”, pull his rabbit out of the hat . With the tabloids proclaiming “victory” every one goes home, except its not.

We will still be under control of EU courts, we will still have little fishing industry of our own and of course our armed forces will be slowly be absorbed into the “European Defense Force” not even to mention the small matter of 39 billion quid, plus all the other “advantages” of EU domination that have been hidden in the small print except now we havnt even got a voice anymore, which is what most of our politicians want as well as the EU.

The only winners will be the elite, because with the complicity of the BBC and the politicians, they would have pulled off another blinder – Brino rules OK and we can all go back to “knowing our place”

I pray I am wrong about this, but as with everything Aunty does it is for a reason. And something about this whole weaponisation of the backstop stinks to high heaven.

OK thats enough – tin foil hat going back into its box, or maybe it should stay out, after-all we are in very strange times

So it looks like some form of Brexit deal is going to agreed. How far this is from a clean break remains to be seen over the coming months and years because the further away it is more heavily disguised it will be for Britush audiences. If there are any concessions from the EU and the Irish tea shop the equal and opposite will be true. The reaction of the DUP on Irish issues and of the ERG on the rest will be indicative. We know that Nigel will be keen to point out any divergence from a clean break.
But the question for us on this site is how can the behaviour of the BBC over the past three and a half years be exploited to damage them as much as possible? Surely their extreme pro Remain bias has infuriated millions of LF payers whose anger can be turned against the BBC. A nation wide LF payers strike is the best to show the government and the overmighty corporation that we have had enough and that it is time to either make the BBC a subscription only service or better sell if off in numerous small packets to the private sector. Perhaps if Nigel has the time he could be persuaded to lead such a national campaign. Smashing the BBC will be as important a national service as was freeing us, hopefully , from the yoke of Brussels.

On your second paragraph I fear that there won’t be much protest about either the sell out or the conduct of the state broadcaster by grown ups . It will be that collective shrug of the shoulders the British do as opposed to the kind of stuff regularly happening in down town Francistan .

Next Saturday the traitors are due to sit and discuss what boris has come back with . They’ll do some steam roller job with legislation helpfully drafted by the French government /EU using Traitor Grieve as their tool . By the following Monday it will be rubber stamped again by the ‘reforming’ chamber .

I suspect it will be an act notifying the EU that since they cannot agree on any deal/ sellout the only option is to withdraw A50 on the 31st October .
Bojo will be able to do nothing about it . The queen will sit in her counting house counting all her money . No vote of confidence – no second referendum – no general election until 2022 – unless of course the traitors vote to amend the Fixed Term Act and extend even further ….

      • Doublethinker says:

I doubt that A50 will be revoked. More likely an agreement will be reached which lies somewhere between May’s abject surrender and a clean break, perhaps nearer to the former than the latter. But Exactly where on that spectrum the deal actually is will, as I say above, take some time to work out , as the politicians will be mostly be trying to make a show of accepting a workable compromise , working together etc etc and nor rubbing each other’s noses in it.

It does appear that Bojo has bungled.

His Rush of Prorogation Blood to the Head has forced him into a sell-out and BRINO – a BRexit In Name Only. The BBC try, rather feebly compared to their usual efforts, to tease out the details but Nicky Morgan (who wobbles between pro-Brexit and pro-Remain) who is in charge at the Ministry of Fun, is giving nothing away.

We will need a lot of spending by the Ministry of Fun to placate enraged democrats in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Mishal asked where are the latest £s of Bojo’s flashing of cash is going. None to the BBC, apparently, to make up for funding those needy over-75s.

You hear a note of disappointment in Mishal’s voice.

BBC Breakfast news just now. Some bloke in Vienna trying to run a marathon in under 2 hours. Clock in the corner showed 1h55m and green to show he is on target to break the record by 9 seconds.

Naga Munchetty says (in a nasally voice), “you can see he is on target to break 2 hours by 9 seconds so he will cross the line at 1 hour 59 minutes and 50 seconds”. Errrr…. obviously Naga wasn’t chosen for her maths skills.

A minute later they bring in some other woman “expert” who waffles on about breaking records of human endurance, “look at him go, we must be in the last 15 to 20 minutes of his race now”. Errr no he is in the last 2 minutes at this point.

BBC and their diversity quotas just means get any woman on the sofa and hope she doesn’t embarrass herself.

    Item #4

It was actually the first item I heard on TOADY this a.m.. Poland is having a General Election. The current governing Party is expected to win. They are – implied but dare not speak it out loud – Euro-sceptic/anti-EU.

The BBC therefore have to brand them as ‘populist’, the slur of choice in Broadcasting House.

“OK, that’s it. Let’s roll! And, hey! Let’s be careful out there today.”

Seasonal work aside, coastal towns have always suffered from low pay. My home area is the Isle of Thanet (or Ramsgit and Margit as the London day ‘tourists’ would say), and one of the better paying jobs 60 odd years ago was at the coal face of the local Colliery ! On leaving school in ’65 I went into the ‘typing pool’ (remember those ?) of the American giant Pfizer who had a huge presence in that area, and one of the better payers. Sadly no longer there.
Over the years the only thing that has risen is property prices, pushed up by 2nd home owners and speculators who are seeing a boom in asylum seeker and Eastern European tenants.

I notice R4 are starting a series on US Republican Presidents (today?) and it’s pretty clear that the Democrat-supporting Beeb are going to be doing a hatchet job on all of them, who sound thick, corrupt and/or alzheimery in the ad.
Reagan, who comes first, apparently doesn’t know the difference between Iran and Israel, will be done in for the ‘Contra’ affair. All leading up to beeb hated US Republican enemy number one, Guess Who?
Noticed last night that R4 news at ten ( Coomarasami, James, very British, attended Cambridge, don’t you know) has new targets: Vox, the ‘extreme right’ party in Spain, got a blast for questioning illegal immigration into Europe by way of ‘sea rescues’. Part two on Mediterranean ‘rescuers’ (i.e. people smugglers) on R4, which clearly fancies that anyone who wants to sail from Morroco to europe should be left to do so, with help.
A Washington Post (Lefty) chappie was brought on to tell us just how bad Trump was. Kumarasami featured a clip of Trump’s Minneapolis speech, but not about Hunter Biden, who’s offenses the beeb are ignoring, even though Trump spelled them out in detail. One that was designed/edited to be a smear of the President. Beeb are entirely one-sided: there is no mention of Killary and Uranium One, no mention of the questionable Bidens, it’s all about trying to get Trump impeached.
Coomarasami is about as impartial as Ghengis Khan.

I see the media apologist mechanism has kicked in with regard to the Arndale Shopping Centre stabbings, or as I heard the BBC reporter on Toady this morning describe it as “a man lunging out with a knife at shoppers”.
Then these BBC reports were spotted:

The BBC are in full Brexit mode on it’s radio and television channels and for some reason the Arndale ‘lungings’ seemed to have been forgotten. It’s amazing that the MSM believe that the public are so gullible.

I’ve devised a bingo game to assist BBC and Sky News reporters when reporting forthcoming Islamic terrorist attacks.

    3d4ccm.jpg

I have to admit I’m not sure if what happened at Arndale was an Islamic terrorist attack as the shopping centre has been plagued with violent and anti-social behaviour by gangs of black youths over the last couple of weeks, which the BBC has decided not to report.
Still, if the MSM believe that incidents like this will be forgotten by not reporting them, then good for them.

Does anyone know how much Canada or Japan have to pay the eu to get their trade deal and are the eu allowed free access to all of Japan’s fish.

Is there any other nation who has the same ‘deal’ as we are supposed to be getting and if yes, how much must they pay the eu for this deal. (Rhetorical)

They have a good trade model. Imagine a car dealer who says you must pay him £3,000 if you want to enter his showroom to buy a car. Do you think anyone would be stupid enough to go ahead with that.
Of course, then, the customer says to the dealer “I am going to buy a car and will pay you whatever you want for it, no ifs, no buts”

Initially mostly about ‘Brexit’, Deal, No Deal. No one ever mentions that only ‘No Deal’ truly gets us out of the EU. All the criticism is aimed at Boris who, apparently, only wanted No Deal to fend off Nigel Farage. The EU seems beyond criticism. If Jo Swainson achieves her dream of staying in the EU, she would need a really tight jumper to explain the noxious consequences for the UK of slinking back with tail between legs.
Also lots of mention of ‘Daesh’ to avoid associating ‘Islamic’ with anything bad.
Some criticism of XR’s methods but not of the underlying politics of global oppression to achieve the end of civilisation. Inevitable human caused climate change is a given for them all.
