I am having ever graver doubts about Boris.

The cowardly inept useless Tories don’t deserve to win an election. I honestly hope the Fascists beat them and then the Tories can hide in their expensive bunkers and cry.

What I cannot risk is a Corbyn government. I voted Brexit party at the EU elections, but not this time. However bad the deal is, what would the Corbyn McDonnell duo bring. The country would sink lower and what despair would they take us to before we were rescued. By that time our pensions would be worthless, our hospitals like Cuba and our currency worthless. Oranges and lemons as imports would be so expensive that they will be a distant memory and scurvy rampant. The only good thing would be nuts and avocados would be so expensive too that snowflake vegans would change their mind about meat. Except the only meat around would be from fluffy bunnies.

I think Boris has said he won’t do a deal with Farage unless he takes No Deal off the table. To me, Tories blocking no deal makes them unelectable. This always happens whenever there is a chance to elect something different. Too many people start belly-aching that the outside bet has no chance-therefore don’t vote for them.

which, going on what I read about their conduct in the Peterborough by-election (and others in the past) seems to me to be a distinct possibility. I seem to recall Labour were using a chappy called Tariq Mahmood who had a prior conviction for fraud relating to forging postal votes according to the TImes (below). He went to jail..sentence was 15 months in 2008. I think the offences occurred in 2004. I donated to Jay Beechers website to have it investigated but it seemed just to die a death. Links here:

There isn’t a single party that will have even one MP after the GE that doesn’t as a minimum accept that continued migration is a necessary and perhaps good thing! If the Conservative party or Brexit Party have any tactical sense they will take advantage of their opponents weaknesses which has devolved into outright stupidity, and make sure every voter knows certain things.
1) All the opposition parties want open borders and increased immigration.
2) They want the voting age limited to sixteen years or lower.
3) They want foreigners to vote in our elections.
4) They want Britain to have increased subservience to the EU.

What they mean is that estimated GDP if we stayed in the EU might have risen by 15% by 2029, but if we leave it will only rise by 12%.
It is utterly bogus. Economists can only try to estimate what GDP growth will look like from quarter to quarter, and they usually get that wrong. Everything about this “forecast” depends on the assumptions fed into it, and I rather think that the left wing wonks at this think tank are not exactly Brexiteers.
If the worst they can do is say that GDP growth over ten years will be 3% lower, I would say we are headed for a major boom!

SNP only stand in Scotland and Plaid in Wales. We need not see them in England. BBC Scotland and BBC Wales (if it exists) should be the only BBC stations that they are invited on.

On very good authority I can report Kathy Lette appearing on a magazine programme on ABC Australia. Tucked away on the other side of the world she clearly felt she could unload both barrels, on Brexit and the coming election.
It was a total full-on anti -Brexit anti-government polemic. Vicious in her attack of Boris, threatening the break up of the UK, and saying in terms how we were all lied to in respect of voting for Brexit. Bizarrely an Australian fellow guest in his home country felt he needed to redress the balance to some degree by offering some overarching understanding of the issues. That’s how bad she was.
So the next time the BBC book Kathy Lette, and claim her appearance rates some level of impartiality, we can stick it straight back down their throats.

OK, I’m not impartial, I’m a keen Brexiteer, even more so after the horrors of the discovery of the contents of that truck trailer in Grays last week.
But I have been listening to the memes for weeks now, doing some research and compiling a list. Funny thing, but almost all of the lies – in reality 100% – came from Remain and Remainers.*
Some were Remain lies about the Leave Campaign or about Leave voters. The famous £350m (proved to be correct five or six times, before, during and after the campaign) or the less famous, but should be much more so, Vince Cable Slur: “They voted Leave because they are old, they are racists and are xenophobes.”
It is a growing list.
If I recall correctly, the only thing remotely anything like a lie told by the Leave Campaign, isn’t really. That is the claim that the Leave Campaign said reaching a deal with the EU after Leaving would be easy. (Due to the imbalance of trade, EU to UK & vice versa.)
That’s not much of a lie because the negotiations since 23 June 2016 have been hampered, obstructed and undermined – constantly – by Remainers who will not accept a democratic decision.
That’s the only one I can think of. There may be more.

I think the remoaners use the ‘easiest deal in history’ quote a lot but they only use half of the sentence.
I think the whole sentence reads something like ‘it will be the easiest deal in history with goodwill on both sides’
I may not have the exact words used but it’s more or less as above.
This was because we start at the same place with all our standards being eu standards so we have equivalence as all the customs and trading rules etc are the same.

Interesting that we’re in a “44 days of election bias” thread although general election broadcast rules are designed to ensure impartiality and to stop one party or candidate gaining an advantage.
We can assume that the BBC will stick to the guidelines around time slots, numbers of guests etc.
This doesn’t stop editorial bias, however. This will be delivered by whatever the BBC chooses as its priority news items – what topics/narratives are given main headlines, which stories are buried or ignored, how aggressive or passive it’s interviewers are towards certain candidates etc etc.
We know that the BBC hides behind its “we’ve represented all sides” mantra – but we also see clearly that it adopts a different tone, asks different questions etc. depending on the subject/interviewee.
It is constantly guilty of bias by omission, so let’s see whether it pushes certain left wing narratives and ignores conservative ones, blows up certain issues and downplays others.
Will it ponder Boris’s peccadilloes or examine Corbyn’s alleged terrorist sympathies? Will it assume “austerity” as a current ‘thing’, or remind viewers and listeners why spending cuts happened after the country was almost left bankrupt?

“Evil”. What a word. The Nazis were evil. Pol Pot was evil. A mainstream British political party (and by implication the people who vote for it) is not “evil”.
If someone had said that about Labour, I think Princess Nikki would have shut them down. But he must have been busy with a sudoku or something, because the man was allowed to rant without interruption.
Is it just possible that, after a career in the BBC, Nikki is so used to hearing the Conservatives called “evil” that it just didn’t register?
I say replace Nikki with Samira Ahmed, she’ll be just as bad, but a lot cheaper.
