Now there’s news from the States, via Laura Ingraham and Bill Still, of another recently-discovered cure for covid-19, the anti-parasitic drug ivermectin. Keep it to yourselves, we wouldn’t want work to stop on finding a vaccine for coronavirus sometime in the next five to ten years.
That’s not exactly news, Square-Eyed. It’s getting for four weeks since Aussie researchers reported that lab tests with Ivermectin had yielded positive results and that they were now embarking on clinical tests.
Mind you, anyone would be forgiven for not being aware of that, as it’s had little coverage in the mainstream media, at least in the UK. Perhaps they just can’t bring themselves to say anything that goes against their doom and gloom narrative.
Welcome aboard Mr Bull – it’s good to see more people who realise what the BBC is and are prepared to engage on the internet about it.
As you may know -I don’t own the site but am a voluntary moderator – apart from refusing to pay the TV licence tax that’s my little bit of resistance against the monster ..
The ideological contamination of most media is beyond cure and seriously compromising the flawed ideal that is free speaking democracy, which has and still depends on certain boundaries not being crossed, but which these days are daily though venality, laziness, greed or all three.
Beeb news at 1 having a go at Trump for missing his briefing, and dragging up again, footage of him commenting on disinfectant.
So Daniella Ralph doesn’t like him either.
Nearly 4 years into his presidency, and about two dozen correspondents later, I have yet to come across a single positive comment on the President at beeb tv news. Now they latch onto something negative again, and drag it out for as long as possible, every new negative slant added.
Very impartial.
Wonder what sort of coverage Sleepy Joe Biden, with St Obama hovering in the background, will get, as the election approaches?
Not quite as negative, I should imagine, by a light year or two.
Fnw,
On the R4 news at 0800 this morning, it was stated that Trump was ‘trailing behind’ Biden, “in the polls” and worsened by his ‘disinfectant’ misconstrued musing.
The BBC are incapable of explaining the facts of any matter truthfully without either withholding important aspects or indeed, complete omission and anywhere in between.
Another probing , well though out question from the world’s most trusted broadcaster.
What does he think she is going to say ??? Will be Thursday week Andrew, about 8.30pm ok ??? What a idiot.
BBC did nothing but shout and scream for lockdown, now they want to dictate when it’s eased . They really do think it’s up to them to hold the Government to account. It isn’t !!!!!!!
#Marr: When can people see their parents and grandparents?
SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon: "It would be irresponsible for me" to give a date. "I don’t yet have the information that gives me the confidence that I can say that with certainty" https://t.co/klsykP5sIhpic.twitter.com/DCxHaMCGBZ
When will people see their parents/grandparents? Yeah right. The media like to portray the population as one big happy Walton Family.
Well what about those parents and grandparents tucked away in Care Homes who never see their kids from one Mothers Day to the next ? and couldn’t give a flying fig because they are ‘so busy’ with their lives.
I saw it for myself when visiting my Dad most days and taking him home cooked food. Old folks who only saw their kin for an hour at Christmas, and then moaned like hell because their inheritance was being whittled away by care costs. Most of the elderly I saw had got all their marbles and had enough of living anyway due to their situation, so those that have passed with Covid was probably a happy relief for them, and a thankful blessing for their bloody kids !

But the serious question which may be asked about the future of the NHS has become an even bigger one as a result of its failure to be ready for a pandemic – at the basic level of kit – yet alone for stuff which seriously impacts the public like frightening them away from hospital services .
Whether it is possible to do anything else with the NHS -Apart from keep on throwing cash at it -I don’t know . Personally I’m no friend of it – but only from personal experience .
But it does share many of the traits shown by the BBC -totally infected by Far Left – huge overpaid management – refusal to ever admit it is in the wrong .
The weight of propaganda focused on the few staff who face covid contamination each day will colour public support for a long time so more subtle ways of controlling it will have to be found .
Perhaps because the country will be bust for a long time real austerity will have be imposed.

But that they think speaking about it will help Trump so they won’t say anything. https://t.co/JmID1iW8NB
What with Boris going into hospital apparently a lot of children missed the government notice that came out on 1 April just before Boris went into hospital.
.. The main thing was the return to school plan
that when the schools go back, obviously they’ll need to make up lost time.

Sky: You said creating a vaccine would be difficult, do you now accept that you weren’t telling the truth?
Buzzfeed: 37 reasons why the UK is still a shit country
