I see that the Prime Minister is holding the daily press briefing today.

I only hope he holds his nerve and stands up to the press pile on against Dominic Cummings. The left wing media have made him into a bogey man, and are loving their attempts to get rid of him. If Boris has any sort of spine, he will tell them where to go, and it’s not to County Durham.

the thing is the public know what the media are like so any attack on Johnson is for the obvious reasons. The more they attack him then the stronger he becomes.

In a way we could thank them for actually helping him become PM when they almost begged us not to

    Government Briefing
It’s all boring today – BoJo just going on about minor stuff like getting an entire country’s’ kids back into Edukatshon.

118 dead people – that will depress the MSM who want to see nurses and doctors breaking down for the 9pm news in overwhelmed hospitals . Thousands dead make for better TV

On the upside The PM sounds like he is back on his game again …..

I reckon 6 out of 7 media questions will be Dom .

The schools will never open again if the unions have their way. The rest of the country will be long back at work but not the schools. Private ones will. Forget about state ones. Education will be put back 500 years.

      • john in cheshire says:

Gerald Celente has been saying for some time that the trend in education will be increasingly online rather than in schools.

I support Mr Celente’s view that it will be a good thing. It will break the left’s monopoly on education, increase choice, offer better teaching, reduce propaganda and brainwashing and make a good education affordable for many more people.

So the longer the lefty teachers unions play their lefty games, the sooner will be their demise.

On another matter that left me fuming today, the behaviour of some little Hitler shop assistants is beginning to get to me, from the ridiculous, ill thought out tapes and queue requirements some have set up that ensure we walk hundreds of yards to queue then have people walk past us to get to the trollies, to Holland and Barrett where my wife needed my advice on the supplements her father wanted sent to him and we were shouted at for walking in together “ONE ONLY!” despite the fact we are married and live together, no discussion, and today at Halfords, queuing for 40 minutes (7 people in queue) to pick up a preordered part, finally get to give the order number and again shouted at “GET BACK” by some bloody moron who was standing in the shop doorway behind a perspex screen anyway…and then could not hear my order number from 6 feet away as he was standing behind a full length perspex screen….had to shout it three times

I said to the wife: give some power to idiots and look what happens

He can’t be allowed to get away with such a blatant disregard for the rules – throwing a wild media party, encouraging all that jostling and sniffling all over each other, and allowing all that pushing and shoving by a pack of vulnerable but oh so key workers.

The queue to get into the shop used to be in the open air but now it is an underground unventilated car park . So if you are there queueing for 45 minutes -like me yesterday – what a great way for virus transmission ….

I tried to tell them but lost the will to live ..

    • Emmanuel Goldstein says:

Morrison’s has a speedy shopper queue.

It’s for those without a trolley who only want a basket amount, bread, milk and the like.

The wait, if any, is minimal and it’s ideal for nipping in for essentials when you don’t need a big shop.

The other supermarkets are missing a trick here. I wouldn’t queue at Sainsburys for half an hour to buy a pint of milk and loaf of bread.

If any workers for Sainsburys, Tesco’s, Asda and the like read this then suggest copying this to your boss, you will get more customers.

Not BBC directly but they are implicated. Front page of Sunday Telegraph tells me that Covid-19 vaccine researchers are worried that it might die out in the UK before they can test it on the wider public.

Maybe if the BBC had not been so delinquent and deficient in their News coverage over the last four months that might not have been a problem to the vaccine hunters. Some better, more careful and more careful questioning of virologists and less pressure exertion on HMG for ‘something to be done’ might have helped avoid that problem.

Sadly it is floating around twitter as the ‘medical matter’ the PM alluded to in the briefing but didn’t add more ( rightly ).
It is inevitable that the MSM goes for the wife , child and grandparents . I’m sure that if Dom Cummings has a pet – they’d try to kill it .

It’s lucky that nothing else is blowing up in the world – Like Hong Kong – or out of control covid in Russia or South America or civil disorder in Spain …. back to Dom …

Yes been all over my Twitter for few hours
At the Daily Briefing Boris said there a “medical matter” he would not discuss.

        I’ve not seen proper proof.
And to me it doesn’t matter
It is not an issue for trial by our school-bully-gang media anyway.

The level of media harassment isn’t right for any adult, never mind his wife, never mind his 4 year old child in the house Aspergers or not.

So media what did Cummings do wrong ?
media “He went from home to a house in Durham ONCE”

So what did you do about it ?
media “we sent 100 reporters to Durham

… and another 100 reporters and a giant harassment video truck to all cram the pavement outside his London house”

but if you shout repetitive thins at Anna Soubry
she gets her mates to jail you.

I see that the BBC have helpfully removed the Johns Hopkins Uni interactive from https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-51235105

Obviously the time line was getting a little long running cross-page for a vertical A4-ish presentation. However, with £6bn and rising income (according to the DG, Lord Hall, young people are flocking to the BBC and therefore all are buying TV Licences – really, yes, ‘honestly’) you would think the BBC could invest in paying some of the IT experts that they employ a little extra for splitting the interactive in two. All it should cost is a weekend’s overtime.

If the BBC is so essential and so trustworthy, you would think that the BBC would know that in this sort of pandemic situation, consistent statistics are highly important. Messing about with information like that is a big NO-NO.

    Apparently not, it seems.

Maybe they are working on it and normal service will be resumed early this next week?

One might live in hope had not so many hopes been dashed by the BBC over the years.

Bulldog, yes, I use that, too. The advantage of the JsHsU interactive is that it allows you to go back in time.

It actually provides an essential piece of data. Now the BBC appear to have removed it.

        I wonder why?

No, I don’t, I know why. It shows the truest picture – if one can be had – of the virus and its transmission over time. I guess the Beeb liked it at first, it was a toy, but now it provides information that prevents favourite causes being aroused or narratives being re-arranged.

So who is this Dominic McKenzie Cummings? He is 48 yrs old claiming to be a British Political Strategist-was once special advisor to M. Gove and also when Gove served as Secreatry of State for Education. Speaks Russian was out there in 1994-97.
One positive in Cummings’s favour-a Brexit man- a worst-case scenario he claimed was for Europe to return to 1930s-style protectionism and extremism-further was concerned over the EU/Eurozone project, driving the growth of extremism. Claiming never to have been a member of any political party-Despite this, he was second in a list by LBC of the ‘Top 100 Most Influential Conservatives of 2019’-He is a Director of a company calle Klute Ltd formely owners of a nightclub in Durham & a owbner of a company called Dynamic Maps Ltd an information technology concultancy, he also runs another company called North Wood that “tries to solve problems” related to management, politics and communications. Wekk I never! Wonder when he gets the time to manage these outside operations? Nevertheless I no doubt like you ask Why does the Prime Minister need a specialist advisor? when he is surrounded by a full Cabinet of Ministers and literally dozens of worthy individuals ready to advise on any subject as and when. How much is the country paying this man Cummings for his services? No information so far on that subject-shall ask my MP !

News roundup. As I write Listening To Nigel Farage (Sunday) in the background on the French Navy ‘escorting’; ‘illegals’ (migrants) to awaiting UK border force for automatic ‘escort’ into UK territorial waters. The excuse (by the French) is that this is humanitarian aid. The EU said much the same thing on the smugglers in the Mediterranean to Greece from Africa. We know that for Greece its is a devastating blow to the long term economy and may never recover. The EU denies that it encourages such movement, but it does little to prevent it.

We know why the BBC won’t report on this. So most of the UK populous are indifferent, the young in particular will be affected by the foreign gang ‘turf wars’ culture that will develop. No jobs and no future . IF – we only listen to the BBC radio or TV we would be none the wiser. i.e. we would be totally ignorant of the problems in Europe. The BBC think we are too ignorant to understand the ‘complexity’ of it all. Mass migration is ‘good’ for us all (servants for the ruling class!) and for food factories etc. They think borders don’t matter.

Meanwhile: today (LBC) I also learn this Sunday that Hong Kong is also under imminent threat of ‘take-over’ by China central. Putting into reverse all the gains of being an quasi-independent state of the UK. This small part of our lost empire who do not want to leave the UK protection zone, and you can see why they protest from China’s authoritarian government. This is serious, as Chris Patten (ex BBC governor and all) just shrugs. the power of China to intimidate will swamp the BBC with false news.

You would have thought the BBC would be critical of China and Authoritarian regimes. So much easier to ignore it and prompt how well the Chinese can build a hospital in a week! How wonderful the collective organization can be when you are compelled to work in danger zones in Wuhan and blame it all on Bats. Well maybe. Just a coincidence that a Chinese state Virus Lab is just steps away. The BBC is such a cheerleader for the Chinese efforts, mostly uncritical. When was the last time you heard the BBC praise the Taiwanese? Far more stable and democratic.

To put this into a wider perspective: the BBC allow Saudi Arabia to use the BBC as a ‘comfort-zone’; for every atrocity under Islam. Islam is a form of collectivization akin to Communism. The fact that Saudi is an authoritarian regime is hardly ever questioned. Not many Jews or Christians in Saudi… Beheading is ‘normal’ as are public hangings. This is ‘communal’ justice in such third world (Islamic) countries. And yet on the BBC you will be puzzled why its ever an issue at all, as the ‘benefits’ of adopting Islam in the UK are already well ‘adopted’ as standard practice now written into UK laws (ECHR) as a ‘religion’ rather than a despicable ‘way of life’ where you get killed if you don’t support it. Only Communism is worse and the EU has that for us if it ever gets that far.

The BBC support authoritarian governments. Venezuela, Cuba and Rhodesia are all prime examples where the BBC are keen to show how well ‘communal’ authoritarian governments work. In a time-lapse snapshot they fail due to the same regimes. But by then the BBC has already shifted its focus to the ‘emergence’ of another ‘‘communal’ authoritarian government that has a new dictator in training. The EU is a perfect fit. If not Marx… Napoleon will do… and given the power…

Its called the Napoleon syndrome. As soon as the BBC gets wind that a Communal dictator (posing as a liberal) has a chance of winning an election. The BBC are all over it like a rash. Rhodesia and Cuba spring to mind where over a hundred ‘BBC journalists’ set up shop to worship the new messiah. When it fails, its forgotten. France is always a good focus point for the BBC, who thought Francois Macron will lead the EU into more authoritarian dictatorships and would lead (Theresa May adopting) an EU Army against England (again).

    BBC is counter cultural.

BBC Culture is different to English culture. Whilst the BBC praise ‘rap’ music for its cultural diversity and enrichment prospects I read in the papers that another ‘rapper’ *aged 17) has been jailed for murdering a young mother (21) in front of her daughter in North london. Made worse by the fact that the BBC ‘promotes’ this as entertainment. BBC ‘Extra’ is the only BBC radio station that has shown any audience increase. In a wider context, knife crime (even before the lock down) was pandemic in London. Most of the crime in London is ‘black on black; knife crime, second to that its ISlamic fundamentalist carrying knives as its part of their ‘religion. Same issue with drugs the BBC think are ‘harmless’ activities and the Islam problems of Rotherham rape gangs go unreported as its ‘unpolitok’ to mention that similar multi-cultural problems exist everywhere in Europe, not just here in the UK.

So what is this BBC culture?
I am a bit puzzled as the BBC claim to have a culture channel devoted to the Arts. I read it here in The Times (where most of my news comes from). In the letters page I read ‘The BBC plan to downgrade its cultural channel’. None other than Mark Damazer (BBC Radio 4 Controller 2004 -2010) point out how the BBC is busy supporting the government in Covid-19. How short of money it (BBC) has in engaging a ‘younger audience’, who are allergic to Radio 4, comedy, news, and drama. The praise of Radio 3 and Radio 4 in offering ‘good enough’ standards for those that ‘love’ the BBC. ‘ I say, its not a very high standard to begin with. It can only get worse and it has year on year…

In response in the Letters page this is all strongly refuted. Here are some that are worth repeating. ’The BBC’s plans defy logic. If the BBC Three (TV) has been so ‘successful as an online service, what the point of trying to reposition it as another ‘broadcast channel’ at all to compete with Netflix and Amazon. And then BBC Radio 4 is to be further ‘downgraded’ to further undermine any appeal to an older (grown up) audience’. In another letter its ‘spot-on’ on the current BBC Culture (non existant) values. This all Indicates serious shortcomings at the BBC as to what Arts and Culture has now become….a politicall comedy.

    (Letter Quote):
‘Sir, Your report describes BBC Four as a “culture channel”. Consider its output, however: every Friday it shows and old episode of ‘Top of the pops’ and not so long ago it screened the ‘Spice Girls’ movie ‘Spiceworld’ at peak time. Even when it offers history documentaries, it offers prefers celebrity presenters who dress up in period costume and do ham acting…’ He goes on to point out the lack of ‘Reithian’ imperatives since the 1980’s… Indeed Lord Reith founder of the BBC would not recognise the BBC as it has morphed into something dark and debilitating. Sponsoring unrest and anarchy, Doom and despondency. The self importance of its status over reality that its only success in ten years is ‘rap’ music and a soaring knife crime rate epidemic in London inner cities… So the BBC thinks that’s European culture. Strewth. But it gets worse!

The Times Letter writers have more to say on BBC Culture:
Its also stated that the BBC fails at reporting high brow level of European culture! he goes on to state; that it (the public) is better served by Franco-German satellite station for both European Culture and European Arts than the BBC! Shame indeed for the ‘pro EU’ BBC Trotskyists that media promise of EU ‘dominance in Europe’ is NOT guaranteed. – (even if they peddle the exact same EU propaganda), other ( i.e. German and French broadcasters) will do it better in Europe and be a lot cheaper too then the BBC even at ‘discount rates’ he BBC is just not competitive. The BBC ranks a long way down… its days are numbered, it has no (real) friends. Just Twitter feeds and ex BBC controllers like Mark Damazar ‘what I did was not wrong’ mentality. Same with Jimmy Saville (never arrested or reported) he was not working alone alone either – like his BBC Radio Controller boss (arrested on a Euro Warrant) and even the BBC chauffeur (UK arrested) of which acute details are long gone at the BBC. No apologies made, No resignations (bar one) ** Memory wiped clean. Start again in earnest on another generation…. UK Youth (again) target, target Youth, target Youth.

** The then Director of BBC ran away to USA and was made Editor for the New York Times + GBP One Million Pounds Sterling ‘Golden goodbye’ from the BBC was later Highlighted in parliament committee as incredulous. Lord Hall said it was to keep him ‘focussed’ whilst working at the BBC. The BBC itself never aplogised and still awards itself golden ‘Hello’s and Goodbyes’ by offering suitable ‘placements’ in this case The New York TImes.
He still editor in chief at The New York Times attacking Trump or Boris (or both).

In another letter on BBC to the Times (same issue): Quote it seems bizarre that while the BBC want to charge over 75’s for a TV license it also wants to cut funding for Radio 4, which has an average age of 62, so as to double its spending on its youth network. Most teenagers don’t pay TV licenses, their parents do…’

Finally, a letter pointing out that doubling spending on its youth channels and declaring ‘Celebrates what it is to be young and British today’ is BBC Orwellian doublespeak. in what the BBC ‘seeks’, has already vanished. The writer points out ‘Clearly W1A has been hard at work again, and under a senior management with a blind faith that flow of viewers aged 16 to 34 can be held back from watching NetFlix and the like can be held back and reversed’ .

I think we can all agree that we are not alone in finding the BBC just a bit perverse. BBC – Culturally obtuse, Politically aligned, Lacking vision, promoting the unobtainable and awash with TV license fee money that actively discriminates on age, English culture and a ‘pretence’ of wider implications of ‘Public Broadcasting’ is found only as an excuse – to give a reason why we should continue to fund it. Covid -19 or not, the BBC is a going under financially under on its own steam and determination to ‘go under’.

The BBC know full well that the UK government will never, ever let the BBC go bankrupt. Yet the direction is clear that is will become another casualty as was TFL (now made bankrupt under Sadiq Khan former Mayor of London). The BBC can claim this is ‘tory policies’ whilst begging for more money…. But in doing so it would have to drop its overt political baggage which its claims is its liberal ‘ethos’, without pointing out that The Guardian is also ‘technically’ bankrupt alongside the BBC (and without any of the TV license..) Thats the argument in a nutshell, ‘support the left causes’, as they have no money or influence on their own. So we are somehow all better off, if we tolerate the Marxist ambitions. Money with menaces I we don’t cough up the tax dough, the BBC are going to use the the ultimate weapon of self-destruction which I am sure is another ‘false news’ item, they are in to deep with index linked +public Pensions and that will total them eventually as they run out of cash.

Its almost if hey have a long held death wish. A ‘dooms-day’ cult and they are going to bomb the UK population into submission. For many us – all we can do is watch it go ‘bust’ as it frantically discovers that not even children or adults want to listen or watch it. I personally avoid it for health reasons. Its an avoidable disease and youths seem immune to the ‘virus’ unless you happen to listen to BBC inspired ‘Rap’ music and are aged under 20 with an intention to kill another you don’t like and video it.

The BBC are desperate to be taken ‘seriously’ and yet are increasingly irrelevant.. We are not alone at ‘Biased BBC’. its taken a long time, but I think the BBC days are numbered. A counter revolution is about time.

At the time of writing this piece… I received a bulletin from the ‘Taxpayers Alliance’ (this Weekend):
(Quote) ‘BBC bosses are planning to plough more of taxpayers’ cash into BBC Three whilst simultaneously cutting funds for other services. Some may welcome this and I suspect many others will not….

More importantly, this situation highlights the fundamental problem with the license fee model. If a provider such as Netflix, Amazon or Sky did this, we as consumers have the option to switch off and stop paying them. Not so with the BBC, we all have to pay £157.50 every year, simply for owning a television…’(Unquote)

There is a Facebook group I have seen called ‘Go to Durham to visit Dominic Cumming’s Mum’

I reported the group as hate speech.

Thanks to the lefty media we now have a divide on our hands. Do we really need this right now? I want to know when I am going back to work. How safety measures could work out. What will happen to the economy. Is there a vaccine? Instead all we get is Cummings.

Why does the Guardian and Mirror get so much recognition with the BBC? What they did was a smear campaign against Cummings to either get him fired or force him to quit. The idea was to put Boris in an awkward situation and to turn the public against him. The idea is for him to start slipping in the polls to cause backbenches to get nervous and somehow force a vote of no confidence against him. Without Boris the Tories would lose the GE to Starmer. Starmer pulls out a chance to rejoin the EU and they have won.

Since when did two newspapers hold so much power in this country? Since when did the BBC give them so much power?

I really hope that Cummings sues them. I am yet to see any evidence that he was in Durham on the second visit. Any another names? How much credit can we really give those two rags?

If he sues them I will laugh. I will laugh at their loss and I will laugh at the smirks being wiped off of their faces. But what is not making me laugh is how dangerous they are. These were the rags that was also being back by the GE to run smears against Johnson to put Corbyn into power. They are dangerous and sadly the public are buying it.

Go and sue them, Cummings and smash the life out of the BBC. Enough is enough now.
