Close friends of Mr Cummings say: ‘He isn’t remotely bothered by this story, it’s more fake news from the Guardian. There is zero chance of him resigning.’

Television Antiques expert David Harper, who lives in Barnard Castle, said that a few weeks ago someone said “morning, Dominic” to him. This could have been the failed left-wing Education Trust Director, Guardian reader and Remain voter, Robin Douglas Lees, born 19th May 1949 at Cranleigh in Surrey. More information about the politics involved in this story would involve a visit to St Edmund Hall, Oxford.

Don’t forget the basics everyone and why we contribute to this forum.

The BBC wish to undermine our country. They dispise everything about our culture our history and our main religion. They take every opportunity to support illegal immigration and wish to teach our children that you don’t have to be the Sex your born with. They promote unsafe sex between men, because there are now drugs that you can take post the event. And most of all they want to use the taxpayers money to promote multiculturaism that has created a violent underclass and ghetos in our once British towns and city’s.

Its our duty to warn others and more and more people are agreeing that they are out of control. This latest emergency has shown more than ever what a centric inward looking organisation the BBC is and the harm that it is doing aided and abetted by compulsary tax.

    Excellent, Dom!

Stuff the lot of them, who really cares about the BBC, and its political wing, The Guardian, and all the other dross whinging and whining, and being absolute prats!

    I certainly don’t!

For the first time since the GE last December, I couldn’t wait to get up early and enjoy the result!

What a great boost for normal people in the UK!

Under the extraordinay circumstances of D. Cummings working in London and his wife who at the time was very ill, with a young child to look atfter, and those near by unable to leave their homes, placed him in a very difficult situation and frankly had it been me in that situation, I would have done the same, most definitely. As said there has been some deliberate spin placed on this by a number of national newspapers and an unsympathetic view from the BBC-well what else would one expect from that rabble.

Nice long game of Aunt Sally round at Number Ten this evening, anyone?

Enduring the entire bizarre backgarden barrage against our boy Dom from the would be cross questioning prosecutors, come judges, come executioners, I was struck by the remarkable unity of their attitude.

Were there eight of them from our big broadcasters and news sheets? And not a single friendly question to this eccentric Brexit supporting little upstart. So apparently we have a complete uniform oneness of journalistic outlook in this country. Interesting.

And oh how they do love to speak for ‘us plebs’ (yes, that was the at once sarcastic and condescending term one of their number used) absolutely secure in the conviction that they can claim to know exactly what we are all thinking and with earnest certainty that is surely just the one thing.

We have a nation in union then. Funny how our recent elections don’t seem to have echoed that supposed unity. But I guess that’s the real problem that our media are so very keen to work on.

Trouble with Classic FM, is that the off-switch on my tiny bedside wireless isn’t easily operated (only bought it on Ebay, before China became total outcasts), so if a decent piece of Vaughan Williams is on, I want to listen to the end, but then have to scrabble around with the off-switch, wake up a slumbering Mrs O’Blene, and the dog starts barking too!

And all because their news is just crap!

I am finding that a large Scotch and a handful of Kalms before bedtime is the anecdote to night-time listening…

From 51:25 David S says he speaks to bBC ‘insiders’ who tell him his criticisms are wrong no matter how much evidence he produces. He says the groupthink is so pervasive that they genuinely cannot see another point of view.

To me this confirms that they are mentally subnormal (rather than just abnormal) – many of them are psychopaths – who, as others have suggested in the previous thread, belong in mental institutions. It explains their attachment to Islam and terrorism.

David S also agrees with most of us here that the Conservatives are not conservative, and are scared stiff of the bBC.
“… any Conservative MP who supports the BBC is not a conservative, it’s as simple as that” (at 42:40).

The endlessly repetitive, utterly predictable and excrutiatingly boring bbc continues its Cummings campaign. On Toady, we can now see the shape of their post-interview narrative: damage to government, the Tory party and -above all- “Boris’ judgement”.
So we see now before us what we’ve known all along: those are exactly the targets beeb had in mind from when the Durham business started up. So, what is the beeb agenda?
After the Brexit referendum, the heavy Labour election defeat, and the ascent of Bojo, SOMETHING HAD TO BE DONE TO RESUSCITATE LABOUR, post Corbyn the Defeated. So, Beeb, The Guardian, Mirror,et al set about making a plan.
The virus was a handy issue, showing up government failures all over, which had to be latched on to. But people would have been asking themselves whether the Surkeers, Dodds, Ashworths and Abbots of this world would have done any better.
So beeb & Co had to find something else, preferably something “unfair” that would “cause ANGER” (emphasis emotion, not rational thinking- ‘I am offended’ in a different guise) to kick off stage 1 of Surkeer’s election campaign.
Along came the unsuspecting DC. And because the real target of Leftist ire sits elsewhere, the campaign will continue. After yesterday beeb (in a no-lose situation) accepted defeat ‘for the time being’ and have moved on to undermining BoJo.
The fools on the Tory backbenches who support the beeb/Labour strategy appear not to be able to see this. They may well feel anger, but this was not the time to stab Boris in the back, so one has to wonder about their motives.
Oh, now we have two more ‘impartial’ commentators on Toady, in Dan Hodges and Polly Toynbee. Many leading questions from Marta K., which keep the narrative rolling.
They say the same as dozens of willing beeb stooges have been saying. How repetitive, boring and hypocritical can you get?

Day four and the BBC pile-on continues against Cummings.
They report “growing calls” for his resignation, “continued questions”, Tory “attempts” to move on etc etc.
This is typical of the way the BBC drives its narrative. There is a total lack of acknowledgement that this political sideshow is being batted to the top of the news agenda by the BBC itself.
They could let it go, they could choose other lead items, but they won’t. They continue to create their own little storm, like a noisy kind throwing a tantrum in the corner.
Instead of four days of wall to wall coverage about a family’s drive to the country, they could have been talking about the dramatic drop in Covid cases and deaths across the country (a success story, perhaps, so therefore not newsworthy?) or the latest on vaccines and treatments (which might give viewers and listeners a little hope, but not doom-laden enough, so also not so newsworthy?) or investigate the ill preparedness of the NHS (sacrosanct and diverting blame from the evil Tories, so not newsworthy?), or delving into the scandal of why all these pandemics stem from China (far too racist, so not newsworthy?).
The BBC and the twitter lynch mob truly believe that the country is with them but, like during Brexit and the General Election, they haven’t a clue that the vast, silent majority really don’t give a toss about Cummings, and that most people are pretty fair minded and are genuinely far more interested in other things.

Did anyone realise (according to Toady) that there were thousands of sun-worshippers sitting glumly in their front rooms this Bank holiday long Weekend, who, when they saw that Dominic had been up to Durham AND Barnard Castle, leaped into the air with a whoop, and descended en masse on Southend beach?
No Dominic, and Southend beach would have been deserted. Amazing, what one almost unknown man (previous to the beeb campaign) can do!

The Dominic Cummins story has illustrated to the nation what a tired butch of nobody’s the Press are in this country. The questions from our assembled toss pots had already been answered, but yes they go over the same areas , never able to think on their feet. Then when we get to admitting that the government have made errors with Covid 19 , the jackals go after what errors etc.
I as a parent I would have done exactly the same as Mr Cummins, he did not have the luxury of nannies/servants like the poor press. Another factor in this is, what would a 4 year old boy want, the comfort of his close relatives to look after him or someone he did not know too well.

A strong and reasoned defence of DC this morning from Dan Hodges of the Mail on Sunday. He was grilled for about 10 minutes by Victoria Derbyshire who asked the usual questions that the beeb expected of her. Just a calm and measured support for DC by Hodges which for a change was not cut short so even the beeb seem to be gradually lowering the volume if only to medium shriek level.

The MoS seems in stark contrast with its sister publication the Daily Mail which in recent days has cravenly followed the lynch mob by calling for DC to go. Paul Dacre was the DM’s editor until becoming Chief editor of the DM Group 18 months ago when he was replaced by George (Geordie) Greig since when there have been one or two editorial bust-ups between the two. Greig is a remoaner so this may explain why today’s front page headline is identical to the Mirror, “No Regrets – No Apology”.

The DM has traditionally supported the Tories, no longer, it has in recent times taken a sharp left turn. Do not be surprised if Greig is soon seeking alternative employment.
