Do you notice the BBC has obsessions ? One obsession is Dominic Cummings . Now it is about ‘ largely peaceful ‘ protests on behalf of a criminal who was killed by american police .
‘Largely peaceful ‘ -by the way – In BBC speak -now means 27 london coppers injured and some hospitalised …. It’s lucky none are ‘largely dead’.

I know many folks on this site have renounced listening to Classic FM and so have probably missed two dreadful examples of the station’s growing Wokism. I complained to them yesterday about their ridiculous minute silence but have been unable so far to find a substitute station playing classical music.
Firstly , on their ‘news’ they reported that Yorkshire Tea , Yorkshire Tea for goodness sake, had joined the BLM protest and the company had said that if you didn’t support BLM they didn’t want you to buy their tea!! The madness has become a pandemic .
Secondly, Alexander Armstrong , rapidly becoming prat of the week, commenting on how the Golden Gate Bridge in LA was making tunes due to the wind resonating through new railings, said that there was a message there and that it was that the world should listen and get in tune. Obviously a thinly veiled reference to those who refused to bend the knee to BLM.
It won’t be long before the thinly veiled references become overt threats. I can see stuff like unless your car has a BLM approved sticker on it it will be attacked , or if you don’t wear a BLM badge you will be attacked. Prats like Armstrong and the fools at Yorkshire Tea , plus the idiotic plods , don’t seem to realise that by signalling their virtue , real or spurious, they are in fact condoning the BLM thugs who will take it as green light to ramp up their violence.

The way things are going Thursdays “spontaneous” applause will be accompanied by all the numpties adopting the bended knee. Pathetic as this spectacle is, if the media told them to, they’d do it!

I heard the awful, woke news item about both Yorkshire and PG Tips tea. Classic FM is just about the only music radio station I can still stomach…and it’s really pushing its bleedin’ luck!

I think these ghastly virtue signallers have misread the public mood. Most of us don’t like to be lectured by people supplying our groceries and we usually prefer having our monuments blemish free and upright. Not covered in moronic messages or at the bottom of a lake.

The repellent anarchists of Antifa seem to have gained a strangle hold on the media. Without winning any elections they’re dictating the agenda. I keep away from all news items on the MSM, though Talk Radio is a breath of fresh air. They are, at least, taking an alternative stance and addressing the vandalism and criminality.

I just wish I could say the same about the (so called) Conservative government. God, their response has been pathetic. They’ve been incoherent, weak and apologetic. Johnson models himself on Churchill. A risible comparison judging by his recent feeble performances. He’s so flaccid he makes Neville Chamberlain seem like Attila the Hun.

Boris has failed us on Covid. And now he’s proving to be equally gutless in the face of militant left-wing fascists.

      FFS man, grow a pair!

On bbbc Radio newcastle this morning, in between the other virtue signalling goings, on they were supporting the teachers staying off work until at least September for safety because of coronavirus reasons.

Nobody mentioned that (I have read) only 2 school age children have died (out of 40,000+) with the virus and both had other serious conditions beforehand and that no case of child to teacher case has been identified.
This is teaching, probably the safest job in the UK yet they won’t go to work because they are frightened.

The headlines in both outlets should read ‘Militant extreme Leftists shout down guest’.

There is no opportunity for debate on this subject anywhere in mainstream British media anymore. Facts are irrelevant, reason has left.

The BBC announced this morning that they had ‘moved on’ from debating whether Britain was institutionally racist. It is simply now an established fact. ‘We want only solutions’ they said.

You are now dealing with the flat earth society. They are right. No statistics, facts, Taliban comparisons or logic will alter the reality they want to see.

On another subject Daniel Radcliffe enlightened me this morning. Apparently Trans-woman are Woman? Wow.

I could argue that every single one of the 23 pairs of chromosomes and internal genes on the ‘Trans-women’ would scientifically argue differently. Given it was Daniel Radcliffe who said it, that world renowned geneticist, I bow once again to a higher truth.

This Commission for Diversity in the Public Realm irresistibly reminds me of the Committee of Public Safety, the de facto government responsible for the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution. Now that I think of it, Sadiq Khan is beginning to resemble Robespierre, “The Incorruptible”. I remember that Robespierre started off as a radical lawyer, not dissimilar to the modern type exemplified by Khan. Famed for his virtue and his opposition to the death penalty, Robespierre’s increasingly fanatical journey into virtue-signalling nevertheless led inexorably to his guillotining thousands of innocent people. Khan, a man who can clearly identify threats to his city and is unafraid to face them, first started to go after images of bikini-clad women on the underground. And now he’s going after statues. Who knows where it will all end?
(I would suggest to the statues of this country that this would be a good time to come to life and skedaddle.)

Bit of a climb, but it won’t stop our BLM/Antifa/Troskyists – given that our gutless government and police will possibly just stand by, for the same reasons the Avon police chief gave.
BBC also entertaining us to Right-wing extremism and statements about terrorism. Some trial and an official from justice saying handy things.I haven’t been following it, but if it has to do with murder (Jo Cox), I condemn that unreservedly.
Unlike many ‘liberals’ who would probably see ‘racism’ as the ultimate crime and moral offence, I think murder should remain on that plinth. What I do notice is how convenient the timing us for our public broadcaster to kinda blur the lines between murder/terrorism/the Right Wing. And -of course- a quick implicit -rather than explicit- suggestion that the mob probably isn’t that bad.
My concern is, that once you allow mobs to have their way, murder is far more likely, as inflamed passions get carried away. We are fortunate that the police officer who “fell off her horse/walked into a traffic light” hasn’t died. Enough said.

I watched a documentary last evening on Joseph Goebbels. It was amazing the number of similarities between Goebbels propaganda machine and modern-day Britain such as the curtailment of any views or speech that deviates from the accepted line, the universities who could only teach one view of history and the total intolerance of anyone who was not a Nazi.
I can see all of this creeping in here and with no divergence by the BBC and others from the accepted view on, say, climate change, racism, British history or on the unnecessary and counter productive lockdown. I’m sure there are other examples.

This one of the Tory Marxist Leader Theresa Mays doings.

When she was asked by British security to outlaw far left terrorist group Antifa, she refused and chose instead to ban a number of little known groups she called ‘far right’ but which were in reality far left Fascist groups.

From this the ‘rise of the far right’ was born but the people concerned were more of a danger to themselves than anyone else.

Consider the damage that the BLM movement of far left extremists has and continues to do to this country and the ‘harm’ these two have caused and ask yourself why the Marxist leader of the Tories did that.

That later on progressed to smashing people up, which is exactly what happens when people don’t follow Law and Order common sense. Ultimately, everyone gets swept up in the passions unleashed and feels you have to Heil Hitler away for all you’re worth. That is the dynamics of the mob. Fear and dispensing with your moral compass cos everyone else seems to be, is the final recruiter-large scale. The SS and Gestapo follow on.

You’re absolutely correct regarding the position of the Nazis being far left.
I’m reminded of a poster Digger who complained to the BBC after they used the far right definition also for the BNP – who are also lefties.

Here’s the reply he got from them:
      Dear Mr Digger

      Thanks for your e-mail.

I understand you have concerns with our presenters and reporters referring to the BNP or similar parties as “far-right” when you feel that this description is inaccurate.

I can assure you that we carefully consider the terminology before referring to any organisation or person in our news reports.

The BNP was born out of the National Front – a “national” party, who like many parties purporting to represent the national interests of a particular country, claim themselves to be national socialists. NS is an extremely left wing form of political belief – Hitler’s Nazi party were national socialists, and therefore technically left wing – but so left wing as to appear right wing in their extreme and racist views. The same can apply to the BNP.

I would like to assure you that I’ve registered your feelings about this matter on our audience log. This is the internal report of audience feedback which we compile daily for all programme makers and commissioning executives within the BBC, and also their senior management. It ensures that your points, and all other comments we receive, are circulated and considered across the BBC.

Thank you once again for taking the trouble to share your views with us.

The lessons from history that WE need to learn is next time we win the war – we MUST keep hold of the reins of power. Our biggest mistake in the past has been to let go of them simply because we are not interested in power.
It is only those with an inferiority complex who desire power in an effort to try and prove how really superior they are.

fake, you are correct, Hitler was of the Left as was Stalin. That is why initially they had a pact to take over the world.

The Right:Left thing grew post-WW2 when it was easy for lazy journalists and politicians to refer to Communists as The Left, therefore everyone opposing them (in the USA both Democrats and Republicans) all the way up to 1990/1991 were of the Right.

Ronald Reagan would be called ‘of the Far Right’ by – it seems to me – many Americans, Brits & Europeans today but actually he was very much ‘a middle of the roader’ who had once been a Trade Union official.

If the BBC and others, on both sides of the Atlantic and both sides of the English Channel wish to describe people who do not subscribe to all their views as being on the ‘Right’, then I prefer the term ‘Wrongists’ to describe those of the Left.

That is the International Socialists and the National Socialists and the vaguely Liberal, vaguely socialist, control freaks who have demonstrated over two to three hundred years that they have individually and collectively got just about everything wrong when in power. I have no doubt if Antifa or XR got hold of serious political power in a nation then not only would they get it wrong as ‘Wrongists’ but in addition complete chaos would follow until common sense prevailed and some conservatives fixed the mess.

Snuff – Yup Citizen/Comrade, I often try to trace the wrongists origin, that revolutionary socialist mindset. It seems to lead back to the French and subsequently Bolshevik Soviet revolutions.
It is very appealing to a certain category of people who are convinced that they are ‘owed’ stuff.
Somewhere in the dark ages of my postgraduate pol degree, i remember an entire thingee on ‘relative deprivation’. If you see ‘wealthy’ stuff around you every day which you don’t have, you become convinced it is because the owners are ‘privileged’. Add another dimension: if the owners are not of your ethnicity, you could come to certain other conclusions. If they then even sound guilty, well now you have TWO dimensions to show why you’re oppressed.
If the owners then sound very much like they actually agree with you, well -that’s an incentive to get out there and show off your muscle. Add the guilt thingee you’ve identified, now you have two weapons to get out there and show your muscle.
I wonder if our government needs this scenario explained to them? Maybe one needs to draw them a picture? Add a copy of the ‘Theory of Permanent Revolution’? And a little about Marx and Engels and the 1848 revolution?

I could be wrong but seem to recall ‘the Left’ designation does indeed go back to the French Revolution, where the protagonists gathered beforehand to debate and plan what they were going to do in the ‘salons’ and bistros on the Left Bank of the Seine. The Revolutionaries were ‘on the Left’ Bank, hence ‘of the Left’. I also have a notion that the Royalty and landed gentry of France may well have had grander houses and property on the Right Bank. Which would also set up the grievance you refer to.

Roll forward to a time in the 19th Century when Europe was relatively peaceful and prosperous and travel and migration was free and easy around the globe. Russian, other East European and German intellectuals moved around Europe, often pausing in Paris and doing the salon and cafe thing on the Left Bank. Then they moved further west, in the case of Marx and Engels, settling eventually in England.

The other thing I forgot to mention that the National Socialists and International Socialists have in common is persecution of Jews. Out of envy?

Snuff – interesting. I thought the ‘Left’ and ‘Right’ came from where members sat in the French Assembly.
It could, of course, be both, as time revises things.
e.g. I well remember the world of Comrade Nikita Kruschev. He finally decided that Comrade Stalin was a bad boy, after all. (Could conceivably have been involved in his murder). The Chinese Communists decided he was a ‘revisionist’. So the iron law of Marxism-Leninism turned out to be ‘revisable’ as well. Until Gorbatshov decided to ditch the whole thing, cos it stank and wasn’t viable.
Strangely, I sense it is now coming back into fashion in Britain, albeit under a new guise. The ‘useful idiots’ of the Soviet Union are also reborn before our very eyes. There was one standing on the head of a statue, before that was ditched in the river. Lenin would have been pleased at the sight. So would Stalin, but he probably wouldn’t have let things go that far.
Our government, bless it, has now got Councils to put police on guard at targets. Lessons have been learnt, but it could be too little, too late. Which does not mean I don’t admire the courage of the officers posted there. It must be pretty uncomfortable, to say the least.
Especially with so many useful idiots around.

It would appear that a deliberate act of revisionism took place in British universities in the 1990s when leftist ‘academics’ began to refer to the Fascist movement as ‘far right’. Before this time everyone knew and accepted that Fascism and Nazism were left wing movements.

    For an example:

“The only disease right now is the racism that we’re fighting,” and “Just like the pandemic, we want to find a solution to stop it.”

What pandemic, Raheem? – I thought racism was the only disease we’re currently fighting.

This one even contradicts itself: “This is the most important thing at this moment in time because this is something that is happening for years and years.”

There’s that old saying about opening your mouth and proving yourself to be a fool – Raheem shows that to be abundantly true.

Agree totally. Last year Peter Hitchens was on the Delingpole pod cast and he said that he thought that there was no way back for Britain and that sooner or later the mob would be coming for people like him and Delingpole. So rather than continue to fight the fight , as he had done for thirty years , he was going to enjoy the time that was left to him whilst watching the country and much of the West slide into anarchy. Delingpole was aghast that this great warrior should be throwing in the towel but Hitchins was adamant , resistance was futile because there simply was no leadership to rally around . He went on to say that anyone who did try to provide leadership today for the forces of true conservatism would be shut down as soon as they opened their mouth and that in the near future things would rapidly get worse. Ten to twenty years is all he thinks any semblance of old Britain has got before the dystopian brave new world swallows it. Make me glad that I well on the wrong side of sixty!

“If those people hadn’t taken down that statue, honouring a racist slave trader, it would never have been removed,” he said on Instagram.
“There’s talks of it going into a museum. That man’s statue should stay in the river just like the 20,000 African souls who died on the journey here and thrown into the sea, with no burial or memorial. He stole them from their families, country and he must not be celebrated!”

Yes, Lewis. We must remove all symbols that pertain to past oppression and slavery. You go first.

When you invest that amount of money in somebody or something, you tend to look after it rather than abuse it. Much as you might do with, say, a Mercedes-Benz G350d, which goes for between £95,000 – £145,000 today depending on the model.

      new-york-firefighters-raising-flag-at-ground-zero-c101070121.jpg

All the firefighters in the picture were white but a statue based on the photo was planned for FDNY Headquarters in Brooklyn, with the ethnicities of two of the figures changed to black and hispanic. This was despite the fact that these two groups made up only about 6% of the city’s firefighters. The resultant controversy was enough to ensure that the memorial was never erected.

Under the Proscibed Terrorist Organisation document under The Governments Anti-Terrorist Act it asks the Question:

What is meant by ‘terrorism’ in the proscription context?

    A. “Terrorism” as defined in the Act, means the use or threat of action which: involves serious violence against a person; involves serious damage to property; endangers a person’s life (other than that of the person committing the act); creates a serious risk to the health or safety of the public or section of the public; or is designed seriously to interfere with or seriously to disrupt an electronic system. The use or threat of such action must be designed to influence the government or an international governmental organisation or to intimidate the public or a section of the public, and must be undertaken for the purpose of advancing a political, religious, racial or ideological cause.

Well, perhaps with the exception of Ghengiz Khan who slaughtered them in their tens of thousands for failing to recognise the ultimate Mongol position in society.

There seems to be a competition on amongst the MSM to outdo one another.
On Channel 4 it seems the entire news programme with KGM has been devoted to keeping the pot on the boil. A whole sequence of complainants leading up to an Oxbridge ‘master’ Ms Alleyne holding forth.
The propaganda has moved on from George Floyd to the slavery issue. Even Cummings, driving to Durham, wasn’t as promising a little earner for the MSM.
What is striking is how utterly one-sided everything is. KGM managed to get interviewers to Edinburgh to start things up there. The targets are wholly bad. No one is bothered about the good side they may have had. All is darkness. And hypocrisy.
I remember reading somewhere that those who tore down the statue of Rhodes in Cape Town included Rhodes scholars. We have to go back to good ole Karl Marx’s ‘dialectic’ to find out how such contradictions are resolved.
Talking about Marx, one notices his statue in Highgate is safe as houses. That may be cos it’s too difficult to count the dead: there are too many of them. Slavery? Try the Gulags.
Another safe statue is Nelson Mandela. A hero and a saint. No one is going to research the organisation he led before 1994, and what it got up to, it seems. Or the current slaughter of whites in South Africa, because they are white.
WHITE lives don’t matter. Nor do their achievements.
All of this shows how little facts and history actually matter, and what appalling double standards there are. History does not really matter either. The MSM are not minded to point this out.
Strange: Marx, who one would suppose is their favourite, had a great deal to say about history.

May I suggest that the Marxist anarchist media outlet the BBC,
show some video clips of statues in Palmyra Syria being
destroyed by the Islamic State(Isis). This should be
a great help to their brothers out on the streets.

Two years old but well worth a watch:

When you watch the news ask yourself, “who wants me to believe that and why?” (Ever wondered why all the ‘journalists’ have the same take and the same words?).

Sharyl Attkisson finds that Google’s boss fed the idea of ‘fake news’ to Obama – then they got upset because Trump turned it back on them!
