Srew – on R4 he was saying ‘protesters’ should stay home for their health, but also because of the threat from the ‘extreme Right’, and the “threat of violence, vandalism and disorder”. A carefully-chosen , cleverly rattled off sequence, giving us a Stalinist big lie. Trotsky couldn’t have twisted it all round any better.
All this was clearly said in a sequence and tone of voice that left you in no doubt as to who would be causing the violence, vandalism and disorder.
Khant and beeb: two toxic chemicals which – when mixed- produce an even more toxic mixture.

One aspect of the BLM protests shows how the organisation and presentation is orchestrated worldwide. From the US to Europe and Australia, the signs are the same – amateurish.
Previous such demos have been well sprinkled with large printed, professional-looking slogans but BLM is almost exclusively felt-tip on cardboard – a contrived way of showing working-class spontaneity? Or hand-made has more sincerity?
Whatever, its another con, but how many will see it as such?

The Guardian dropping any sense of balance is openly asking for whistleblowers to attack the Government.
This is pure political activism designed to get as many left-wing grudge-filled anonymous people to throw shit.
We all know who they will be, Momentum activists, Union Officials, outright nutters etc. etc. Just to provide gunpowder to this rag of a paper.
Q&A
Covid-19: Help us investigate
The Guardian is investigating how the UK government prepared for – and is responding to – the coronavirus pandemic. We want to learn more about recent decisions taken at the heart of government. If you’re a whistleblower or source and with new information, you can email investigations@theguardian.com or (using a non-work phone) send us a Signal or WhatsApp to this number (UK) +44 7584 640566. (The number does not take calls.) For the most secure communications, use SecureDrop and for general advice on confidentially contacting the Guardian see our guide.

Digg,
They probably won’t have a problem with responses. As most of the ‘civil service’ now consists of non-British Fifth Column enemies of the UK, they would doubtless fall over themselves to, ‘help’ the MSM undermine the Government.

Ponderings….
1. BAME people are supposed to be harder hit, by a significant percentage, than white people by this virus. Inevitably, the ‘experts’ trace it to ‘poverty’….via the usual route, where in the UK they live, how crowded their housing is, income deptivation, denefits uptake, etc., etc.
2. The ‘classic example’ given of of this (and the inevitable lefty clamour for the government to ‘do something’ – unspecified, of course) is that 90+% of the deaths among doctors is of BAME staff, whilst there are way fewer BAME than white doctors…… and therefore….
…..but these doctors most certainly are not poor, only living in crowded accommodation if they want to, and don’t live in ghettos…
So, surely someone has worked out that the reasons they succumb to COVID-19 is perhaps obviously due to other factors….such as lifestyle (for instance, multi-generational/wide-family-occupancy of residences, no matter the size), diet, general health, pre-disposition to certain illnesses, …. whatever – but none of the so-called ‘experts’ ever surface on the BBC invitation list to even discuss these possibilities.
Beeboids are getting more and more like the ‘Queen of Hearts’ from Alice in Wonderland – like touting six obviously self-contradictory ideas (when you actually think about them) before breakfast every day. So far, too many of the sheep are just basically going along with these ideas.

Yep, Beltane, the BBC rarely ever mentions that these public sector groups are Unions, rarely ever mentions political affiliations of so-called ‘independent’ think tanks (unless they lean to the right) and the activist groups which head up the Health Boards and NHS Trusts are never identified as having political interests, then there’s ‘The King’s Fund’ and other ativist groups which are never identified as anything but interested observers. The Public Sector is a well-oiled job creation and promotion scheme.
And don’t even get me started on the Arts Councils, etc. !

Well folks after a terrible week treat yourselves this evening.Put your feet up, pour your tipple of choice and watch the excellent film NORTH WEST FRONTIER on talking pictures, starts at 6.25 PM. If you remember it was shown a few weeks ago and the people who watched it on this site gave it a thumbs up.
It has the lovely Lauren Bacall in it also Kenneth More and Herbert Lom. Set in India pre 1920, it’s in colour, a film you would never see on BBC, especially now. Watch it and enjoy.

As a football odds compiler(some of you may of read my Arsenal
letter in the Daily Mail on Thursday) I must admit i Find it
incredulous that the UK is talked about as having the second or
third largest death rates in the World owing to the Chinese pandemic .
I have to measure my stats very carefully. By the way if Dortmund
beat Dusseldorf today , Mainz against Augsburg will be 0-0 tomorrow .Anway do you know that 128 million cell phones in
China stopped being active by March. The experts that deal in
these kind of facts are not saying that 128 million died
But using all the data available they reckon it to be near to a million.
Then there is Iran who have admitted to around 10,000 deaths.
I follow the internet site iranwire and also have contacts in
Iran involved in football that tell me that one can multiply
that by 20.
In no way does it give me some kind of schadenfreud reporting
this. But I get the feeling that with the BBC the more that die
in the UK the more schadenfreud they get towards the UK
and its government.

Yes indeed, how often does the anti-British traitor BBC put caveats when it gives death totals? Is China likely to tell the truth? Or Iran? Even assuming truthfulness, some countries may struggle to know exactly how many died of Covid19 rather than from some other cause. So we hear loads about the US and Brazil (to bash Trump and Bolsonaro) and NZ (to praise St Jacinda) but what of our European ally Belgium?

“The doctors’ union warns many have not had promised risk assessments and redeployment opportunities.”
Bottomline if a report focuses only on non-white it is racist.
The safety of ALL VULNERABLE doctors is important
Ethnicity is a tiny factor compared to a range of bigger factors like old age, or being obese
eg a white elderly or obese doctor should not be on the frontline.
Whereas an under 30 Asian doctor basically has a low chance of dying if they catch the infection.
Waiting for someone else to do a risk assessment for you is weird
It’s your job, so you do the risk assessment normally
BBC “But a group of GPs in Manchester has designed a risk-assessment scorecard to help doctors do their jobs safely.”
The BBC did a survey via ” groups representing ethnic minority doctors” and most said they didn’t have a risk assessment.
Yeh well you would only bother with the vulnerable and young fit Asian’s aren’t.

I thought it would be a million to one that Assad Ahmad on
his Londonistan programme last night on the BBC would mention
that there had been a murderous attack on a rabbi in Hackney
East London. Like the lottery you wouldn’t have won.
Of course there were more important issues such as which statues
were considered to be “surplus”.
For those of you who live outside of the capitol. The London
programme on the BBC is the only programme on the BBC
where diversity does not take centre place. You see the
indigenous population of the capitol are now a fairly small
minority. So why should the main presenters and most of the
reporting staff be diverse? It’s absolutely natural that Assad Ahmad and Liz Rateef should be the main presenters., for a
programme devoted to the folk that now are in a majority in
the capitol city of England.

I think that for many contributors to this site it was obvious from the days of the Blair government that we were going down a dangerous road when multiculturalism was forced upon us. We feared that our cohesive society and culture would come under threat as the newcomers would want their cultures to have a place at the high table and that sooner or later the natives would begin to come under pressure from the new comers for jobs and influence. Of course we perhaps didn’t realise that large sections of what we would now called Woke folk , would also go out of their way to wreck our society and culture .
Anyway we are arriving at the place many of us have feared and warned about these past twenty years. The chances of the next ten or twenty years leading to a better future for the young people of today are slim.
The only positive that I can see from the BLM mob is that it has made many ordinary Brits realise that they can’t go on ignoring what is happening around them and hoping all will be well for their children’s Future. But will enough people realise that action is needed? As always the first step towards slowing down our descent into multiracial hell is to get rid of the BBC . They are purveyors of anti British hatred and have played a major role in taking us the precipice which we are now staring into.

‘We feared that our cohesive society and culture would come under threat….’
Did we though DT? Did we realise back in the early 2000s that the floodgates had actually been opened surreptitiously, behind our backs? And that the stated aim of the Blair government was to ‘rub our noses in diversity’ and fracture UK society beyond repair?
With hindsight, yes we’d probably like to say we did, perhaps to explain if not justify the fatal inaction, but the sad reality is that it was organised and managed without any mandate and by the time it became general knowledge it had gone too far for any hope of reversal. As planned.

You ask a good, searching question, Beltane.
I, for one, didn’t have my eye on the ball in the early 2000s, what with work/life; although I would have argued even then that the damage done to cohesiveness from the immigration between the Empire Windrush and Blair’s 1997 election, was already serious enough. I’ve said this before but it’s worth repeating. The anti-British globalist traitor BBC only started talking about immigration, IIRC, in the years after Poland and other East European nations joined the EU in 2004 and when people noticed that large numbers were coming here, especially of Poles.
One reason, presumably, was that the BBC Leftists knew that they couldn’t be accused of racism if they pointed out only large numbers of fellow White Europeans, while keeping quiet about the Muslims and other Third Worlders. One consequence of this BBC selectivity, as argued by a pro-EU friend of mine, was that those anxious about the numbers coming in then “took it out” on the EU by voting for Brexit. So, in this hypothesis, the BBC actually helped to bring about Brexit, despite all its pro-EU bias!
Of course, leaving the EU is a necessary – though not sufficient – condition for controlling immigration into the UK. The same friend ref’d above is worried that now we will simply end up getting more Muslim and Third World immigration rather than the White European sort, arguably the lesser of the two evils.

DT- R4 ‘news’ at twelve, much concerned because ‘hundreds’ of men wearing ‘military’ kit -the ‘Far Right’ obviously, are gathering in London. They have a terrible objective; to protect our heritage against lawbreakers and destructive, maurauding mobs. Cos, those will be around, in the shape of Antifa/BLM, Trotsky/Proudhon fan club. ( P.J. Proudhon – ‘father of Anarchism’, even joined the French parliament -unsurprisingly!)
I regret to say that, if the authorities won’t do what we expect of them, they musn’t be surprised if someone else will do it for them. It’s not a good idea, basically, because the word ‘vigilantes’ may also pop up. But if the alternative is destruction of our cities, monuments, sacred symbols, and all we hold dear, etc, there is no other choice left.
Who do we think the powers that be and the MSM -led by the bbc, will blame for any confrontation/ damage/injury/ death? (we nearly got to the latter with that unseated policewoman)

Also I think the feeling that “someone else” will sort any problems out and then we can go about our lives as normal ie. pub, sport, holidays etc. I had a relative call here this week totally head in the sand, doesn’t do internet, only watches BBC therefore doesn’t get any real news, hardly knew about the rioting mob and I had to show him pictures from this site and I could tell he still didnt quite believe me.

Am I correct in thinking the reason loads of snowflake virtue signallers are turning on her is because she said that men who are trannies cannot menstruate?
The answer must be women menstruate and men cannot. Just by deciding you are a woman doesn’t mean you start menstruating.
What’s wrong with all these people.
MSM descriptions.
Anti racist BLM protestors, these are the good guys.
Extreme far right thugs, ordinary folk who want to stop the above from desecrating, destroying and the graffiti they cover statues with, for example painting ‘slag’ and ‘whore’ on a Queen Victoria statue (when not throwing bikes at horses or generally being violent towards the police, if the can catch them as they are running away)
These are the bad guys, every one of them worse than Hitler.
I’ve unsubscribed from ‘Good life coffee’ because of the email they sent saying the usual “we support BLM” crap.
How sickening of the premier league to surrender to the virtue signallers by replacing shirt names with the now wholly discredited ‘black lives matter’ hate slogan. I wonder what the FLA think about that while they are doing the police job of protecting our historic sites and statues.

The phase getting wheeled out a awful lot on the BBC is that BAMES are “disproportionately affected by”
They are, according to the BBC , “disproportionately affected” by almost everything . Coronavirus, pepper spray in prisons, poverty, the justice system , the employment system etc etc. It goes on and on .
Two things stand out though that the BBC never question .
1. If all the above is correct. Why do these said BAMES travel through several different countries, safe countries, countries that would welcome them, to get to the UK ? Why , if the indigenous, white British people are so inherently racist, do they all have the UK as number one target ?
2. As WHITE British citizens, I feel we are “disproportionately affected” by Muslim terrorists , suicide bombers. Why is there never any outrage from the BBC on our behalf ?

BBC WEB-SITE Watch #1 – Teenagers, huh?
A BBC Editor, preferably one who is good with written English, needs to sit down with some of the teenagers currently writing captions and explain that they really need to make sense for the bulk of the population who might look at the w-s. Not all oldies are computer illiterates. The captions need to be meaningful and attract interest from all age groups, not deter it.
For example, ‘Child rapper from meme gifted a home studio’ is quite beyond me. I know what a child is, a rapper is and what a meme is. But that whole by-line does not make the slightest bit of sense. Is it a form of Yoofspeak? Whoever writes this gobbledygook needs some good training from a helpful critic.

And then, oh dear, a carefully-cropped flash of police getting into fisticuffs with some other people. Beeb does not really define who they are, or what they want, and we can draw no conclusions from the brief, cropped footage. The police seem to be hammering this lot of (protesters?) (caught up in some sort of cattle grids?), instead of running away, as we saw them do when BLM got serious.
So very difficult to know what the heck is going on when censorship is so prevalent.
Censorship. Gotta look that up and see what sort of authorities/media a keen on making sure you see only what they want you to see. I would automatically have said Chinese Communist Party, but there was a lot of footage allowed in Hong Kong, recently.

I should say that I don’t mind who dresses up how, or colours any part of their bodies in whatever way they chose. It is a free country (supposedly) and my motto has always been to ‘live and let live’. It is my own behaviour that requires careful consideration, and it is only due to the staggering, breathtaking double standards that prevail, that I even mention this issue. Don’t care much for double standards, you never know where you are!
Wouldn’t normally be my cup of tea, all this stuff.

BBC News web page has secondary headline ‘What to do with UK symbols of slavery?’. Clicked – quite different headline…’What do we do with statues linked to slave-traders?’
What, you mean those statues erected to commemorate philanthropic works by some people who existed in quite different times ?
Ban the Pyramids – the Arc de Triomphe (a holdover from the triumphal arches of the Romans to commemorate victories and enslavements of whole peoples) – half of Rome’s other statues could probably be linked with slavery somehow – paintings in most major museums in the world which have any potential links with slavery – i.e. history. Where does it stop – well, as we know, one group, aided and abetted by the jolly old BBC, only wants white British and American artifacts brought down.
Egypt was built on slavery, Greece, Rome, almost all regions of Europe….. and, in fact, there probably isn’t anywhere in the world that hasn’t historically depended on slavery to some extent in its history.

Richard -According to a book by Giles Milton called “White Gold”, the Barbary Corsairs, under Captain Ali Hakem , launched devastating attacks on England’s coastal villages. e.g. in the summer of 1761, a Cornish cabin boy named Thomas Pellow and 51 of his comrades were captured at sea, and taken to Morroco.
Hakem had declared war on the whole of Christendom. France, Spain and Italy had been hit in repeated raids.
The Sultan of Morocco, Moulay Ismael, bragged that his white slaves would enable him to hold the whole of Europe to ransom.
Don’t tell Al Beeb. They would want to know about African slavers coming over to take white English slaves.
It would cause them terrible confusion.

On sky news they were showing the blm lot in between lots of blm supporting talking head friendly interviews. On the screen of what I think was a drone camera, while the news reader was saying how peaceful the blm lot were I noticed a fight going on with people being dragged about by their feet or legs. As soon as they saw this they couldn’t get the pictures off quick enough and they returned to the studio with, of course, no mention of the fight which goes against their propaganda.
I wouldn’t count on this footage being replayed but I wonder if anyone has recorded any part of it.
They then went to the Churchill statue but they couldn’t find anyone to speak because they didn’t trust the media.
There were some off camera comments picked up, none complementary.
Eventually they collared someone who was picking up litter who appeared a bit bemused by them but answered in a calm manner, not giving sky much to manipulate.
I wonder if they can see that the ‘right’ will not talk to them but the left/blm always will and if they can connect this with the MSM lefty bias.
They either can’t see it or ignore it.
They also said the police were there to protect the statues from BOTH sides.

Remember, these are the little ‘angels’ who were knowingly shielding Antifa thugs and rioters last week – as far as the BBC is concerned, 65 police officers hurt last week, mob rule, riots and all will slip down the memory hole – they now have what they wanted.

“Shortly after 13:00 BST a black woman, wearing a mask, was spoken to by police as she was entering Parliament Square from near the Supreme Court.
The officers and the woman were quickly surrounded by a jeering crowd. When officers asked the woman to get down from a plinth, one of the protesters appeared to try to slap the woman.
Part of the crowd surged as additional police officers in riot gear were brought into the scene with horses to strengthen their lines.
The crowd then threw bottles and cans at the officers and let off a number of smoke bombs. One officer appeared to be pushed to the ground as he was taking the woman away.
Agent provocateur, much ? She was ‘spoken to’ as she entered Parliament Square – next sentence, she’s on a plinth…. what the hell were the police doing letting her climb on a plinth in this situation ?

Him indoors has just suggested putting up a statue to Vlad the Impaler for his efforts to free Europe of the islamic hordes.
And another of Hitler for fighting against Communism.
I am dismayed at all this discussion in the media (just listening to ‘Any Answers’ on Radio 4) where people are allowing themselves to be thrown on the back foot and arguing in detailed points about which statues should go and which shouldn’t.
Leave The Statues Alone should be the only attitude of the Government.
Listening to the droning in the background, Churchill blah blah, Bengal famine blah blah (that one is passed around like a Chinese whisper)
I wonder if Any Answers would let me on to say that all the mosques should go because the one they revere as the seal of the prophets was a creator and keeper of slaves, apart from being an all round Bad Lot.
Another angle is that statues are often symbols of victory and superiority. The superior and the victors get the statues, and what’s so wrong with that? I wonder if the spoils of slavery gained by the black nations/tribes who were selling each other to the Arabs and Europeans, had been greater, i.e. if they had been better at it and more business savvy, wouldn’t they be boasting about it down the ages?
No discussion either about the dark (oops) intentions behind BLM. Bringing down Capitalism etc. They all pretend it really is all about racism.

Far Right? Right wing? I thought that the left right dimension in politics was about heavy state (left) versus light state control (right). In that definition who would not regard right as preferable.
Far right now seems to be defined as being against mass immigration. Far right are those who look on in dismay as their town is taken over by aliens. Presumably the ‘left’ members of the town experience only joy.

Re the ‘Far Right’ statue defenders in London. Ok so some of them are a bit rough. But at least they have the courage of their convictions and are prepared to stand up and be seen while many of us little mice are afraid.
Iain Dale never needs to worry about his job at LBC unlike Nigel Farage.

I like Iain Dale. He’s incredibly naive sometimes but I believe his heart is in the right place. And I don’t want only to listen to those who always agree with my views.
His role at LBC, however, is now as the House Conservative. To give the veneer of balance but as someone who can be trusted not to stray past the limits of Acceptable Opposition. Which is why his position there is secure but I suspect that of Nick Ferrari will be under threat.

True, but Iain Dale is very soppy about islam. Won’t hear a word against it, off switch, next.

meh, mostly peaceful from what I’ve seen.
How many police officers injured and in hospital with serious injuries? Have they defaced any public monuments?
meh, as I thought, mostly peaceful.
I wonder how the BBC will describe it? Let’s go down the rabbit hole and have a look…oh

On what planet are the BBC living?
How is it possible to happily bandy around the terms right wing and far right and yet BLM protesters are simply dubbed anti-racism?
What happened to left wing or far left?
So we must draw the obvious conclusion that the BBC itself stands on the left or far left.
It’s no longer fit for purpose as our balanced unbiased national broadcaster, Stop it now.

AslSeelt – the reluctance of the bbc to use that term tells you all you need to know about them, really.
The anti-racism bit is supposed to shut up anyone who disagrees with the bbc or BLM.
But, of course, we know all that. Bias, bias, bias…

Agreed. The trick the BBC uses here is one now precious to the left – it is to sanctify far left wing activity under the unreproachable banner of anti-racism.
A shrewd move. See how it taints anyone standing even slightly to the right under the catch all dark stain of racism?
Think we should leave Churchill’s statue alone… you’re racist.
Singing the national anthem…. racist.
Basically not joining or bending the knee to the BLM… probably racist.
Well that thinking is ok for the political left, they may be wrong-headed and playing dirty politics but are entitled to their quaint opinions and should be ignored. I’m talking about you, Labour Party.
But when the BBC embraces this tosh – kill it now. Defund it. Privatise it, whatever. Just make it stop.

This will be the narrative, I’m sure.
However, no one appears to have any evidence of it. There are several in the comments purporting to show it, but I’ve seen nothing more than stills of people raising their hands.

The fevered wet dream of the left is to discover an actual National Socialist.

AISI, they only have to look in a mirror.

Look closely at the raised hands. They are holding cell phones to take pictures.

I wonder if the BBC will report this.
I’m of the view that Donald Trump should leave them to stew in their own juice as the contradictions become more and more apparent. Make the Democrats own this stupidity.

Armed guards patrolling a border wall after the invited homeless raided their larder. Theres an analogy somewhere but I can’t quite make it. Problem with leaving em to it is its just a matter of time before one doped up idiot shoots another doped up idiot and somehow the authorities get the blame. Still, in such a short time they have access to water that won’t kill you after a couple of sips, no mean feat. They do have autonomous treatment plants don’t they?

BBC: How many statues of black people does the UK have?
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/53014592
Do tell me, BBC, I’m completely agog…?
‘The short answer is we don’t exactly know. ‘
Is this some kind of deliberate shaggy dog story?
‘Because statues are generally approved at a local level, there is no one central place for listing them.’
Well, frankly, no one was fretting much about statues until last week, were they?
But now with the BBC stirring the pot I will venture a little prediction. Your’s and mine tax payer cash is about to be splashed on a good number of new statues to black chaps and women. What do you reckon?

AslSeelt – What do I reckon?
If you take a trip around Africa, a ‘black’ continent, you will find many, many statues of black people.
Natural, I would say.
But you won’t find of many of those in China or Japan.
They have statues of Chinese and Japanese people, respectively.
Natural, I would say.
Cash about to be splashed? You are probably right. We know that intimidation works, if you use the right amount of psychological and physical pressure. Oh yes, and it helps to use the odd catchy slogan, inspired to generate guilt. Lots and lots of artificial guilt-centred and guilt-edged investments, one might say.

Um, aren’t most statues black in colour ? If a black man was to be eternally depicted in a statue, then there would be some grievance about it, to be sure.

BBC WEB-SITE Watch #3 – Oh, yeah?
If I believed the BBC without question, I would agree with them that “How can we win? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-us-canada-53017667/black-lives-matter-how-can-we-win-monopoly-analogy-explained
“Black Lives Matter: ‘How can we win?’ Monopoly analogy explained”
“One American woman has come up with a simple way to explain how centuries of economic hardship have impacted black Americans.”
Unfortunately, in the age of the Internet and Wikipedia it is now easy to prove that in go-ahead, go-getting America it has been possible for Black Americans to do well for themselves for a long, long, time. I have a notion that the inventor of peanut butter (man deserves a Knighthood from the Queen!) was a Black American but cannot remember his name.
Instead, I G**gled the ‘first black American millionaire in USA’ and went to the Wiki page that was offered. Usual disclaimers about Wiki – it may contain errors. It gets re-written and re-written. A contributor to a page may be biased. Anyway, what did I find?
The first black American millionaire was a woman, way back in the nineteenth century! I have a notion I had heard of her in the dim and distant past. Her story is inspirational. The Wiki page also contains some interesting links. The narrative is not quite how the BBC would like it to be: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madam_C._J._Walker
Now, there’s a surprise.
You cannot trust the BBC.
