The failing biased BBC continues to lose licence fees as more people realise that it is now an organisation without ‘diversity of opinion ‘ or even thought – just Far Left propaganda aimed at dividing the country . A long struggle to kill it .

The BBC receives several billion pounds of our money each year (we are getting closer to stopping our contribution) but pay lots of people very large salaries, and I am not even counting Gary Linneaker.
At the beginning of lockdown surely some of them could have had a zoom meeting and considered changing the schedule to help uplift the spirits. They could have repeated some of the old comedies, cookery programmes (Delia’s cooking for one?) even travel programmes (the handsome Italian with the grey hair?). See, I managed a few suggestions in a few seconds. But the BBC just carried on with the same old dross that they had already planned. These highly paid ‘executives ‘ couldn’t even be bothered to consider the audience and their world had changed.

Countryfile this evening had a photographer going to some islands to film puffins. I am not knowledgeable about photography but the film seemed fine. But Hamza’s script sounded as if it was written by someone in primary school, just boring. The BBC will do everything to lever BAMEs into every programme.

The programmes currently being shoved out at us from the BBC, and Sky are in the main repeats, repeats and more repeats- Now showing repeats of some progs is pleasant to see, but certain of them, are repeated one after the other and sometimes week after week-I am sick to death of seeing more of that Belgian detective, that chap and his family who live near Peckam, some woman who lives in a place called Cabot Cove, another detective Sherlock something or other, and Hospital scenarios- I shall explode! Think the exploration of Africa has been well and truly exhausted us as well as they the Africans-Winter Watch, Spring Watch, Summer Watch, and other watching styled progs-how the world see us, how we see the world? Deliberate message styled progs, mostly enough to make one run away, but where to? That is the problem. Bring back the potters wheel. That’s better I have had a good gripe, now I can tackle those awful repeats.

I am a nature lover and so though it pains me somewhat I do watch Springwatch when it is on, not least because of Chris Packham’s encyclopaedic scientific knowledge ( I don’t agree with some of his politics though). The latest presenter Gillian Burke is interesting to watch – often stumbles over her lines despite being over-reliant on the card she is always holding. I did wonder if she had offended somebody at the BBC in the latest series as at one point she was charged with building a dam with branches and mud in a river to demonstrate how beavers did this and looked extremely uncomfortable and resentful throughout, later in the week she was given the unenviable task of digging about in a big pile of animal dung to see what life forms were dwelling within…

Listening to this week’s Radio 4 Feedback tonight there was the predictable bleating about ‘offensive’ comedy on Radio 4 Extra.
Should this old material be edited or torched etc. in line with ‘modern values’?
It occurs to me that many find current material ‘offensive’ so would it be reasonable to have, “And now, The News Quiz ! Warning, this programme contains boringly predicatable monologues relating to President Trump, Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Brexit. No clapping seals were further harmed during the making of this programme as they heard it all last week.”
P.S. BLM is clearly intended to make all ‘blacks’ hate all ‘whites’ and vice versa. But what on earth is the purpose of Annika Stranded, the most boring incompetent police officer in the world, to make us hate Scandinavians?

JimS, two weeks ago tomorrow, The Goon Show repeat on R4 Extra was prefaced by Neil Sleet (I think) stating that “This show was made 60 years ago and reflects some of the attitudes and language prevalent then.” The episode in question was ‘Shangri-La Again’.
The following week (last Tuesday), there was no preface announcement. Yet that episode of The Goon Show – The Pevensey Bay Disaster – came from a similar period.
I listened to both. The first contained a reference to (something like) ‘old bags of dust on sticks’ as Seagoon described Minnie Batchelor and Henry Crun coming toward him as Bhuddist monks. There was another reference to the Dalai Lama and he was impersonated. Apart from that I was puzzled why anyone should take offence, requiring that apologetic preface from the announcer.
Then, of course, last week we had two reminders on the BBC web-site that Bhuddism is the BBC’s second favourite religion after Islam.
In ‘The Pevensey Bay Disaster’, Grytpype-Thynne makes a couple of derogatory remarks about his French sidekick, Count Moriarty. In addition there was a wonderful gag about the Liberal Party. French listeners and members of the House of Commons who are Liberals could have been extremely offended but there was no prefaced warning or ‘apology’.
Seagoon, on his way to drive a train to Pevensey Bay, encounters Grytpype-Thynne and Moriarty begging in the gutter near Euston Station(!). [Yes, I know …. no need to tell me.] Grytpype explains they are hard up MPs. “But why are you begging in the gutter?” he asks. Grtpype replies suavely “We are Liberals?” “I see.” says Seagoon

I forgot when posting the above – kitchen sink memory has just kicked in – that in ‘The Pevensey Bay Disaster’ there is an even greater potential for offence. Young Neddy Seagoon is called in to meet the Boss of the Railway Company who is played by Peter Sellers in merciless, full-on Delfont/Grade, east London Jewish mode.
I do have a friend who might now take umbrage at that despite the fact he is very non-observant – has been for decades – but is from an observant Orthodox Jewish background

I assume that some gesture will be made by all those who stand ( or kneel) againstMuslim brutality , both in the UK and abroad. It is impossible to calculate how many have died at the hands of Islamic terrorists but it is probably in the tens of thousands this year alone and of all colours and races. But it is clear that to the likes of BLM , BBC, MSM, all of our politicians , and many influential others , these victims count for nought , they are mere specs of dust, not to be given even a first thought let alone a second one. Compared with the murder of one black man in Minneapolis the deaths of these thousands don’t even register.
The Reading Three will soon be forgotten by the BBC , glossed over so as not to disturb the splendid community relations which so bless this town. It must also not be mentioned that in many parts of sub Saharan Africa the text of the Koran is being used to justify modern day slavery at this very minute! Not a peep about that from the BBCSM. On the other hand unless white folks atone for the possible crimes of their great great great…………. grandparents there can be no stable society, no peace . The ancient guilt must be purged! But only white people are subjected to this notion, why?
PS I expect that my forebears were labouring in the fields , or down the mines , or in the mills when much of this slavery was going on and never saw any of the ‘benefits’ that slavery brought to the wealthy. So I feel no guilt firstly, because any sensible person can’t feel guilt for something that they didnt do or profit from and secondly because viewing history with the values of the 21 st century is for fools. Values change with time.

A paper ‘The Guardian’, whose history was very much connected with the slave trade of the 19th century-it might be in their interests not to make too much of the ‘Black Life Matters’ issue- all lives matter as we all know, however the intervention of a small number of Black terroists in the USA and with a following over in the UK, further supported by unscrupulous politicans seeking a way to offseat President Trump has caused this duplicitous issue-I am inclined to believe that such vengful attacks will back fire if not having done so already. The Black nation of a few thousand years ago and continuing now, were and are the biggest slave traders in the world alongside those who follow the teachings of Islam. Let us hope the Schools will do their homework to ensure they teach our history and world history in respect to slavery correctly.

Joe Ritchie-Bennett, 39, was from the US city of Philadelphia and had been living in the UK for 15 years, working for a Dutch pharmaceutical company based in Reading.
His late husband Ian, 32, died in December 2014 after a short battle with cancer. A devastated friend said: “I’m happy for them that they’re back together.”

Apologies for for being late , but I’m given to understand that no one can be prosecuted for the theft – or vandalism – of the Colston statue in Bristol because the police and authorities are unsure who owns the statue . ( Can anyone provide guidance here ? ) .
If so
1) Who has maintained ( cleaned ) the statue so far ?
2) Who paid for the maintainence ?
3) Why did they pay for the maintainence ?
4) Who owns the plinth / space where the statue was ?
5) Can the statue be described as treasure trove , belonging to the Crown ?
6) If the statue was owned by no one , who dredged it from the river , by what authority , and who owns it now and by what authority ?
7) What is the fate of similar statues ?
I am sympathetic to the feelings of Bristol people . Why lionise a man who had a dubious past even if he was virtuous later on , like George Floyd ?

Try deporting asylum seekers after they have been jailed for offences even if they are serious ones. They immediately claim legal aid and the human rights lawyers queue up to defend them saying that their country of origin would persecute them if they were returned.
It took 8 years to rid ourselves of an individual the beeb quaintly described as radical cleric (i.e. hate preacher) Abu Qatada and the U.K. had to sign a “non torture” Treaty with Jordan who wanted Qatada to face charges on planning a Millennium bombing in that country that was intended to target American and Israeli tourists.
Richard Reid, the failed “shoe bomber” was one of his disciples. This whole deportation process cost U.K. taxpayers £1.7m. Let’s hope that from 1/1/21 the U.K. will no longer be legally bound to adhere to the edicts of the European Commission on Human Rights (ECHR).

Our Human Rights Act 1998 incorporates the rights set out in the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) into domestic British law. My view is that this law should be repealed and a new UK Bill of Rights passed which distances us from the horrors of the European Court of Human Rights (we would still be signed up to the Convention – which is nothing to do with the EU). The EU has demanded that any trade deal with the UK be contingent on the UK making a commitment in the new trade treaty to abide by the ECHR – even though the EU itself is not a member. Fortunately we are refusing to do this (afaik), so lawyer MPs like Cherry are on the warpath because they see the European Court of Human Rights as their bread and butter and of course a way to stop the deportation of undesirables (Labour and SNP voters).
Let us hope that this government has the guts to do what Cherry ‘fears’.

The idea that a trade deal should be linked to such a convention just begs for not deal ‘ . What are we going to do about a trade deal with the USA – demand they abandon the death penalty or the 2nd amendment because the current UK government doesn’t like it ?
I suspect the EU is just using the ECHR thing as a very weak bar a bargaining chip . I can’t see the krafts agreeing to have cars on huge import tariffs all because of the ECHR – which was never meant for the UK anyway because of Common Law ….

Bulldog,
Sorry, its not that way. The ECHR, the genesis of all the nonsense, just happens to be based in Europe. That’s the only connection to the EU.

G,
Indeed. it’s a separate entity from the EU, although it too was conceived in the 1950s and is hideously unfit for purpose in the modern era.

The fact that, as usual with cycling virtue-signalling, it is also of absolutely no relevance whatever to the millions of young families trying to do the shopping on a cold wet windy Autumn Saturday is neither here nor there.

Reading attack
Coronavirus latest
A minute’s silence will be held later for the three victims of the Reading park attack. Teacher James Furlong, described as a “kind and gentle” man, is the only one to be named publicly so far. Police have said they are treating it as a terrorist incident and are continuing to question the suspect, Khairi Saadallah. BBC home affairs correspondent Dominic Casciani says he came to the attention of MI5 in 2019, but no genuine threat or immediate risk was identified. Read more on what we know about the incident and see how the town has reacted.

MI5 thinks Dom poses no threat?
Explains a lot.

Your thoughts on what should be done with this individual whose actions represent just how the Muslim’s mind deals with non Muslims.

Hats off to the MSM community. Yet again they manage to shift the agenda from a Muslim terror attack in the UK to story’s of incompetence by MI5 and profiles of the victims and interviews with his pupils lighting candles and no doubt pupils from ethnic backgrounds.
So again this attack had nothing to do with Islam or its followers ….please move on nothing to see here.

Who could be Joe Biden’s vice-presidential candidate?

A-Z provides an A-Z of suitable candidates, all ladies.
Just like the recent Labour Party leadership election candidates.
The potential VPs are absolutely, super dooper, top notch, with razor sharp minds, just like Rayner and Long-Failey.
No Pelosi, no Killary.
Pocahontas is still on the A-Z.
Michelle, the Ex president’s husband, is listed.
If he, Michelle, that is, had a son he would have been just like George Floyd.
One, at least, is tough.
“Tammy Duckworth, the junior senator from Illinois, has a CV that jumps off the page.
She lost both her legs when the Army helicopter she was piloting was shot down by insurgents in Iraq.”
She has since become a mother.
A-Z ignores the doubly demented Biden issue.
Biden offers the same nonsense that the increasingly hard left “Democrats” have been peddling for years.
Biden has dementia, indubitable from recent videos. If you can find them on YouTube.
Saint Donald looks and acts years younger than the physically frail Biden.
My forecast, originally made in these hallowed pages a few weeks ago, is still that Biden will “develop” Coronavirus and have to withdraw.
Sorry GW you must type faster than I do.

Blimey, for a second I thought Lurch was on the shor… bla… list.
Oddly seemed entirely credible, except for the white male thing.
Is he ‘sound’ orientation-wise?

The vice president candidate, or another ?

Are more women dying of Covid-19 in India?
More men are dying from Covid-19 than women around the world, data shows. In Italy, China and the US, for example, more men have been infected, and a higher proportion of men have died. Sabra Klein, a scientist who studies sex differences in viral infections at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, says “being male is as much a risk factor for the coronavirus as being old”. But something puzzling is happening in India.

How many of the staff at Al Beeb will be ‘taking a knee’ for all the British lives lost because of imported terrorism? How many more lives will be lost as our Home Office fails to secure our borders and deport hostile aliens? The nation is in need of a Home Secretary.

Unfortunately, more like ‘taking the p***’, Taff!
When the Covid stuff has died down, I reckon a count-down monitor to the day when the awful, fake BBC is shut down would be an idea, might give us all hope!
Unfortunately, the government needs some sort of public notification organisation at present, (places like Sky are presumed useless), but a tv might be the only way to tell older, normal people that it’s safe to go outside soon.

It should not be to difficult for the Home Office to set up a radio/tv channel to broadcast 24 hour news that could replace Al Beeb.

Mist – If you want arrogance, watch Myrie and Rajan on the latter’s Media Show last week, or was it the week before. TOP NOTCH, breathtaking, Arrogance.
George Osborne is now talking on Amol’s programme on R4, on a brave New World. He seems to want a big role for China.
No sign of the ‘ordinary people’ yet, Amol promised us, other than one from Nigeria, to kick off. A worker from England’s shop floor? FORGET IT!

Aha.
It’s the -ism and -ist thing again.
Any criticism or any comment about a person who happens to be BAME automatically gets marked up as Racism now.
It’s one of the consequences of the LeftMobBBC fawning all over BLM.
And, dreadfully, any racism enquiry will now swallow hook line and sinker any number of ‘racist’ accusations. It’s such a neat catch-all to mask any number of otherwise legitimate issues.
White people have no such -ist or -ism on which to fall back.
Quite likely some of the comments about Myrie are not because he’s black but because he’s crap at what he does.

Until Capital Punishment is brought back, we the public tax payers will have to support these disgusting individuals-Prison is being examined as to its effect as a deterent-it plainly is not. Rightly or wronlgy I belive that Capital Punishment would serve as a deterent against most foul crimes, such as shown above by Celtic_Mist. Modern forensics are so far ahead today that no one would be executed if not guilty. But just take the murder of Young Lee Rigby who was killed by such a foul individual and the evidence was deliberately shown on TV. That individual should have had his life cut off-it was not right that he should be able to live in comparative comfort, leaving a devastated wife and family behind to know that Lee’s killer was still living. Our main broadcaster BBC would sadly never support CP even in the light of such eveilness.

The joke is on the BBC –
“Ahead of President Trump’s rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, his 2020 re-election campaign manager Brad Parscale tweeted about the event. “Just passed 800,000 tickets,” he wrote. “Biggest data haul and rally signup of all time by 10x. Saturday is going to be amazing!”
Parscale’s numbers for the rally—originally scheduled for Juneteenth and still set to occur just miles from the site of one of American history’s deadliest acts of racial violence—have come in for criticism after only 6,200 people actually turned up, with sign-up numbers supposedly inflated by pranking teens and K-pop fans. But even on the surface, his claim was confusing: the venue holds only 19,000 people. So what was the campaign doing signing up so many people for tickets?
The clue lies in Parscale’s use of the phrase “data haul.”
“This is part of a campaign strategy for reaching the 40 to 50 million citizens expected to vote for Trump’s reelection: to put it bluntly, the campaign says it intends to collect every single one of these voters’ cell-phone numbers. This strategy means the app also makes extensive permission requests, asking for access to location data, phone identity, and control over the handset’s Bluetooth function.

I’m not making any excuses for this vile specimen that killed three of our people at the weekend, but perhaps our media and some politicians bear some responsibility.
Our feeble response to the halfwits of BLM has been lacklustre and pathetic.
The media, our politicians, even our bloody police have been encouraging the belief that this is a foul country that has to apologise for…well, about everything.
This scumbag clearly didn’t like us anyway, had a violent history, shouldn’t have been in our country, so was a timebomb waiting for someone to set him ticking.
I think the BBC, Sky, The Guardian, Daily Mirror, Kier Starmer et al should take a really close look at themselves. They won’t like what they see.
Police kneeling. The leader of the opposition doing the same! It’s the most repellent act of subjugation known to man. Starmer really makes my flesh crawl.
So, within our midst, some Muzzie, who loathes us anyway, seeing weeks of self flagellation and grovelling and the only politician who meekly said he wouldn’t “take the knee” vilified and pathetically backtracking. To be frank, there’s an awful lot to despise in these people!
We have a cowardly Vichy leader of the opposition and a creepy and Quisling media.
And top of that treacherous list…
The BBC.

It is a well known character trait that mercy, forgiveness , turning the other cheek are all regarded in the Middle East and elsewhere outside Christian cultures not as signs of virtue but of weakness. I’m sure that the millions of third worlders who have arrived in the past forty years see what we regard as Christian culture as weak and in turn regard it it and us with contempt. I’m afraid our tolerance will be the death of us.

From us! The rabble. The peasants!
The first person comes in from NIGERIA.
Then comes an activist and dtudent from NY@: we need realchange. Climate crisis. Leaders not taking seriously.
ON COMES TONY BLAIR !!!!
Not your usual peasant, then?PERHAPS THE RABBLE ARE NOT REALLY WANTED ON AMOL’S DIAMOND-ENCRUSTED PROGRAMME.
Tony thinks ‘renewable energy is wow!
Democracy’s biggest challenge is can you harness the technology revolution? Or will leaders allow two tribes of people on social media to undermine progress?
Tony thinks people are still free to decide.
Amol has guests from 7 continents.
The first is a muslim Democrat.
UN High Commissioner for Yooman Rights.
Australian former Premier, Kevin Rudd.
He does have someone from the Orban government.
And he has George Osborne.
Dr Kovacs in Budapest says the Hungarian health system looks forward to all the lessons everywhere.
Rudd opens up: the issue is INEQUALITY!
And that now is the generation for EQUALITY. But will the older generation become ISOLATIONIST? Amol thinks Pres Trump is retreating.

The silence from the BBC and its stablemates tells you all you need to know. If this had been predominantly indigenous Germans, they’d have headlines such as “Far Right fuel violent protests”, “Neo-Nazis return to Germany”, “Trump in USA, Brexit in Britain. But what is fuelling the hatred in Angela Merkel’s perfect Germany?” etc.
The Daily Express does mention that 1/2 of those arrested were ‘Germans’, but cynics might wonder whether this is analogous to ‘Reading Man’ back home.

digg – I tried to report yesterday from Stuttgart. Keep everyone here updated.
Or was it from the Berlin ‘party scene’ you wanted to hear?
The ‘party scenes’ in Germany are now the driving forces for chaos, as they “get out of hand” – so really just nice people, the looters, who attack the police.

Amol is still at it on R4.
Obviously Beeb has promoted him to handle a whole lot of programmes on R4, to bring us his unique take on reality.
Oh dear.
A new ‘Social Contract’ is what he is currently on about.
Does he know Rousseau’s “Social Contract, and discourses”.
Rousseau was the man who started up all the many BAD things currently happening, going back a few hundred years. Especially the EQUALITY obsession, and his followers are talking about OUTCOME, NOT OPPORTUNITY of equality. Malcolm Muggeridge, in his book on Jesus, called Rousseau ‘congenitally deceitful’.
But then, this is the beeb.
Also congenitally deceitful.
Currently we have someone who wants to defund the police.
Osborne is saying we need to say ‘we have come together from across the World to fight the virus’ -our FINEST HOUR?
NO NO NO. The lady from the US is saying how black people have been hit, and people of colour. Anything but our finest hour , Mr Osborne.
Osborne says in previous century many more people would have died. We have been able to turn on the spending taps to save people all over.
Hermione thinks global leadership has failed the ‘very vulnerable’, especially bad role for the police. INEQUALITY!

fake, I remember ‘the Social Contract’ that morphed into ‘the Social Compact’ in the last days of Harold Wilson as PM and through Jim Callahan’s time in No.10.
That went well. 🙁
