Weekend Thread 18 July 2020

The biased Far Left BBC continues to re announce ‘job losses ‘, closing programmes and then ‘saving ‘ them as though we care about them . The truth is that the social campaigning propaganda onslaught is being noticed by more and more people who are forced by law pay for the poison . There is no evidence of ‘diversity of views ‘ from the publicly funded State Broadcaster .

Maybe they should have looked across the causeway to Malaysia and the Bumiputra laws. One silly example is university entrance where Chinese Malaysians come to Singapore Universities even though there are spare places not taken up by Malays. The places remain empty on the courses rather than reallocate to those who want to study in their home country.

      Indeed.

Don’t they have an outpost there?

While the influx of PRC diversity at the low end of the educational scale to do the loos may see a rise in demographic conflicts, plus a few loons forgetting it’s not Kansas before trying to blow stuff up, being a Malay carries no such discrimination.

The President was a bit of a push, but they coped.

And if you want to see discrimination, BBC, try not being a Bumi in KL or JB.

Shuttling between the fated condo, CBD and Changi is a p*ss poor way to immerse in a country enough to report.

One of the offices I worked in was too close for comfort, about three blocks away. Somehow I think I would be fairly safe as I don’t think they would lunch in the hawker stalls . They wouldn’t be able to get a $220 bottle of expensed chardonnay to put on the UK tax payers.

However my favourite Rendang is still in a hawker in Marine Parade. Lovely Malay lady who sees me coming and puts out to orders of meat, potato cake, chilli egg, green veggie and lashings of gravy for less than $8.

Not long after the MSM were wilfully screaming misrepresenting about him advising chugging Dettol and firing tanning rays through your eyes, I kept finding science-reviews based on just the basic theories he was in fact suggesting. There’s actually a UV product on kickstarter.

The media stopped banging on as they got more prevalent, but on social media pea brains were still doing what they had been programmed to do. I found they reacted poorly to new input.

I too remember the American MSM and our world beating BBC, slagging Pres Trump for suggesting UV light to kill CV-19. It was just an off the cuff suggestion, as he was genuinely concerned. But the MSM, and our BBC made fun of Pres Trump as an idiot.

It so happened that an American company was already doing so, using a refined optical fibre to convey UV to parts where it was needed in the body.

Using UV light to destroy small particles is normal. One tunes UV light to a wavelength around the size of the virus. So if cv-19 diameter is 150 nm, one tunes the UV wavelength to be around 150 nm (taking complex refractive index into account). This ensures maximum absorption.

Surely the world beating BBC knows that. This is genuinely settled science.

Also remember the BBC joining the mob baying Pres Trump for suggesting some sort of detergent that could clean the inside. Here was a man that loves his country and people, desperately trying to find a solution, unlike politicians who think of their re-election first.

But Donald Trump has a way that sees a truth before anyone else does. There is a detergent to clear the place where the cv-19 lodges first, before making its way to the lungs. Its mouthwash. A mouthwash in the morning and evening is not just a favour to your near and dears, but possibly a first line of defence against cv-19.

Put this one down as bias by inconvenient truth.

It turns out that our heroes at Public Health England have been counting Coronavirus deaths based on anyone who ever had the disease. So someone who tested positive for CV19 and then died in a car crash three months later goes on the death stats !!!!! So on this basis we will only get to zero CV19 deaths when every person who has ever had CV19 has died !!!!!!!
This is the level of expertise and discourse on offer from PHE.

Dare one expect the investigative journalists at the BBC to…..errr……investigate? Nope, thought not.

Unfortunately for the French authorities, the fire started in 3 different places, so they can’t put it down to an accident or a careless worker dropping his Gauloise.

Inspecteur Clueless of La Sûreté is following various lines of enquiry and has narrowed down the search to the following suspects:

    – Asterix and Obelix

    – Tintin

    – The Hunchback of Notre Dame (temporarily homeless)

    – The Marquis de Sade

The police have categorically ruled out members of a religion dedicated to the overthrow and replacement of Christianity.

At least in France there are some MPs and political leaders who are in no doubt that the country is being invaded and is under attack. They are trying to wake the French up to the danger and out of their complacency. They may not be in power but they are national elected representatives and so do have a national platform. The Wokists in government and the MSM are trying to silence them but the anti Wokists are fighting hard. In Germany the AfD is trying to do much the same thing. In Italy it is likely that Salvini will be after power at the next election. The same is true in Sweden and Holland. The Visegrad group , Poland, CR, Slovakia and Hungary opposes the Islamification of Europe. In Spain VOX holds similar views.
Only in the UK is there no political party which has national elected representatives who are trying to mobilise the people to end the invasion . Says everything that you need to know about our country and the complacent fools who live in it and run it.

Apologies if anyone has posted about this already.
BBC One has been showing trailers for a drama called ‘Anthony,’ which is scheduled to be shown on Monday 27th July and is described as a feature-length drama based on the death of black Liverpool teenager Anthony Walker, who was killed in a racist attack on 29th July 2005.
Written by Jimmy McGovern (Cracker, Hillsborough) and based on conversations with Anthony Walker’s mother Gee, ‘The 90-minute film . . . tells the story of the life Anthony “could have lived” – who he could have married, friends he could have made and what kind of man he could have grown up to become.’
Now, I realise that “alternative history” as a genre of fiction has legitimate applications (The Man in the High Castle, The Trial of Lee Harvey Oswald etc.) but really, what is the point of this?

There is “no indication” coronavirus has spread from a farm in lockdown in Herefordshire to the wider community, a council has said.

BBC report today that A S Green and Co in Mathon told its crop pickers to self-isolate last week after 74 tested positive for the virus.

Herefordshire Council said despite tests on workers finding 19 more cases, there was no evidence it had spread.

Chief executive Alistair Neill added more than 70 workers had recovered and were “able to begin to return to work”.

If my thinking is correct this confirms that tight-knit groups like sweat-shop workers (Leicester), or living 8 in small space living conditions (caravans) will always be at most risk of contracting the virus irrespective of ethnicity. It also begs the question (for the BBC to ask) that if this virus is so difficult to recover from then how these super-humans (70 of them) have returned back to work having only just self isolated last week. Some questions the BBC Fakers steer away from.

say to Trump, Farage, Katy Hopkins people against XR
      .. I bet they have ?
Do they use malicious framing ?
Do they do the normal monstering the normal press use ?
The YEP in reports about Tommy R framed him as “Far-right extremist”
.. that’s a bit outrageous, they are smear labels which don’t apply to him.

They call Thomas Mair “Neo-Nazi Thomas Mair”
I’m not sure that is right he may have had some books on the topic, but I think they use the label cos they know he can’t sue them.
I bet the YEP has done its fair share of malicious reporting & over aggressive doorstepping.
The Yorkshire Post regional is an associate publication and that editor used to work simultaneously for both.
I bet in the years they’ve paid out libel or out of court settlements.

Of course they have “deleted tweets”
eg the time they were “actually inviting fans to vote on LUFC’s worst player on Sunday.”

I think a lot of the hatey tweets the paper gets are from the momentum-Zombie-Twitter army.

Im not so sure that the twitter bitcoin offer is a ‘ scam ‘ -.in fact if anyone reading this sends me their credit card details and that 3 number thing on the back i ll tell you why its not a scam…

When the scammers ring me i keep them on the line as long as i can …

If you’re handing over those card details for products that they have no intention of sending you, I would say it was a scam. People were sending bitcoins because someone (masquerading as Bill Gates) was promising to send them $thousands in return.

My favourite scam story was when someone acme across my CV online, saw that I went to Durham and assumed it was Durham North Carolina. Then claimed I still owed some missing fees and threatened to withdraw my degree unless I finished their paperwork and paid a $500 fee. I must have kept that call going for hours over several weeks, it was hilarious and I wish I had recorded it all.

Given the direct #prasnews copy and paste scoops between colleagues in the civil service and the bbc, has this appeared as a scoop yet?

Or have wiser heads at the bbc grasped that this explains a bit too much about how the country is where it is?

JOHN GRAY: It’s not an exaggeration to compare the methods used by the new ‘woke movement’ to those of Mao’s Red Guards

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-8537583/JOHN-GRAY-not-exaggeration-compare-methods-new-woke-movement-Maos-Red-Guards.html

“Last week, the senior curator of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art resigned, accused of ‘white supremacist language’ after he stated that refusing to collect white artists would be ‘reverse discrimination’.

And an opinion editor and writer at the New York Times resigned, citing ‘constant bullying by colleagues’ who attacked what they called her ‘forays into Wrongthink’. This reference to George Orwell’s novel 1984 – where people are punished for ‘thought-crime’ – is very telling.

What’s more, major American news providers and magazines are now operating a system in which staff are encouraged to snitch on their colleagues and denounce one another on Twitter.

This hounding of people is strikingly reminiscent of Mao’s Cultural Revolution, which convulsed communist China from 1966-1976 and wrecked much of what remained of the country’s ancient civilisation.

The only way someone accused of thought-crime could escape punishment was through public confession, ‘re-education’ and abject apology in so-called ‘struggle sessions’, in which they were humiliated and tormented by their accusers.

Tragically, the woke movement has reinvented this vile ritual, with teachers, journalists, professors and others seeking to hang on to their jobs by desperately begging forgiveness.”

When the viewing figures are measured properly – i think watching for 5 mins is all that is needed – e.g the whole programme or maybe 50%
That figure of 2 to 3 million will be 2 to 3thousand.
Anyone here on the polling group for viewing figures..? Bet not
I used to watch it all…but it suddenly turned to crap

    Two headlines from the BBC

BBC: ‘Coronavirus: WHO reports record single-day global increase in cases’

This is due to increased testing NOT increased deaths. The BBC implies the problem is increasing and the virus should be scaring us, the audience, more. In any case this is an international headline reporting worldwide statistics. The BBC illustrate the report with photo of a poster reading lets be covid free. Covid has no vaccine and a state of covid free is probably a scientifically medically impossible goal.

BBC: ‘Coronavirus: Boris Johnson ‘does not want second national lockdown”

The first headline’s twin now implies the PM wants to expose the public to the danger the BBC has alerted us to. What Johnson is really expressing is his hope and wish that there is not a further spike in deaths. The BBC illustrate the report with a photo of masked Johnson clutching his head in apparent dispair. In reality there is no sign of an impending spike in deathsin the UK. The death rate in the UK is fast diminishing.

The two headlines taken together show the central BBC narrative. It is using the opportunity of the Chinese virus to attack the Government it instinctively opposes and whose central policy of Brexit it finds so distastful. Admittedly the Government has helped to intensify the gloomy narrative by policy gaffs and is perhaps irrevocably damaging this country.

“We have an excellent security track record and have never had any incidents of this kind in over 40 years”

    Get used to it.

‘A man has been seriously injured in a stabbing at Thorpe Park following an altercation between two groups.’

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-surrey-53459974

BBC reporting of these incidents can be a bit of a rollercoaster ride. There’s the sudden shock and excitment then some uncertainty. Will the level of excitment and interest continue at the same high pitch perhaps, or more often, when certain details become clear to the authorities, we have the slow levelling off of the reporting and that, as far as the BBC is concerned, is the end of the ride.

Staycation is clearly the third class slumming it option as opposed to the Tuscan or Greek villa.

Because the UK is, like, naff.

Those who staycate run the risk of bumping into infection-spreading plebs such as those dreaded ‘pubgoers’ of which the admirable Nicola Surgeon warned us. Sorry, STurgeon – what was I thinking – the mask distracted me.
