Goodness me – the BBC are having a frenzy on HYS. I’ve never so many articles open for comment. Every single one about bad-news EU or bad-news COVID.
Now what could their motivation be I wonder.
The top comments are – as usual – spiteful whines about leaving the EU or calling Boris a liar. Nothing to do with anything specific in the article. Would be deleted as ‘off topic’ under different articles expressing different opinions.
My disgust at the BBC remains unchanged. It was already at the maximum.

Will the BBC reflect the term being used by its newspaper version – the guardian – in calling blighty ‘Plague Island ‘ and then publishing a series of offensive comments about blighty by various lefty rags around the World – and seeing it as Gods Punishment for Brexit .

Makes one even more determined . What they miss is that money talks – and if an orange costs 5p more whilst tons of Spanish oranges rot unsold – so be it ….

Now – the BBC loves all things NHS – so I expected the shocking report I’ve pasted below to feature on the BBC website – but it doesn’t . Could it be that the ethnicity of the ‘lady’ involved has some bearing ? Bias by omission … perhaps 😕

‘Awoman shouted “there’s your coronavirus” after spitting on an NHS hospital security guard and smearing blood on the floor during the first national lockdown, a court heard.

Cornelia Azariah, 32, turned up at the Royal Brompton Hospital in Chelsea looking for an A&E, launching a volley abuse when staff told her to go to the nearby Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

She spat at a guard’s head as he tried to eject her, then used a sanitary towel to smear blood on the floor of the paediatric ward, shouting “there’s your coronavirus for you guys”.

Snaresbrook crown court heard Azariah continued to be abusive when a police officer came to arrest her at a nearby bus stop, and she racially abused the PC who arrested her. ‘

There’s other stuff about wanting to pee on the Union Flag – hating Britain … but that goes with the territory …..

We have been saved ! It’s official. The Beeb tells us of seven ways we can get through Christmas and avoid being lonely. I feel I have been waiting all my life for this.

It’s OK to be angry…. Of course if you are on your own there is no one to punch apart from yourself.

Change your expectations…. Difficult with the Beeb, but I’ll give it a go.

Plan, plan, plan…. Breaking it into bite- sized chunks apparently.

Do what makes you happy…. Have a lie-in in your favourite pyjamas (and cancel your licence)

Speak to other people. Cheery cries of ‘Merry Christmas’ exchanged with strangers (round where I live, may be met with “Wot you effin lookin at”)

Eat what you want…. Peanut butter out of a jar is recommended

Don’t celebrate at all…. Bah humbug.

I will be living this dream over Christmas (actually it’s so crass it really is quite funny).

It’s not surprising that Sainsbury’s shelves are empty, because they sent out some sort of woke ‘statement’ saying that if customers didn’t like kneeling down or some gittery like that, we needn’t shop there!

So we’ve stopped going there, (used to spend around £120.00 a shop) and presumably they now have the sort of ‘customer’ now, who rapes the shelves and doesn’t give a damn!

Well done Ratners – ooops, Sainsbury’s!

(BTW, there’s a small Tesco not far from Cambridge Circus, I guess the BBC have an account there, but only for stuff in the ‘Finest range’…).

Yesterday a gave an on the spot report of the Sainsbury’s in E17 . No panic – busy – bit of a queue to get in . Shelves full .

Well today – Tesco in E4 – when I got to the checkout I noticed something missing – no queues – midmorning . Car park full . No panic – shelves full .

Yes the BBC and friends wants to sell us panic buying and shortages . I guess it was inevitable – and desperate – in view that Project Fear never worked – in the referendum campaign nor in the general election – yet on they go.

Same here, hearing that M & S was open until midnight I decided to have a night out !! and mosied on up the A1 to join a queue around 10.30 pm at my nearest branch – or so I thought. Nope, no queue, shelves full, got everything I needed, and because there were only about 20 of us in the shop I sailed through the checkout. Home, put the shopping away, a glass of Port and more of the boxed set. Bliss !

The series was not too woke by current standards, but the most cringworthy part was:

James: Can I kiss you ?.
Helen: Only if you get my consent first.
A regular conversation in the 1930’s I’m sure.

I have a hard disc full of the classics. I’m quite certain some Christmas specials of The Two Ronnies and Morcambe and Wise will grace my screen. They are actually a breath of fresh air. The whole program has one single agenda : to entertain.

When you watch some of the programs like It Ain’t Half Hot Mum, they are not actually offensive at all. Even in Love Thy Neighbour, the only racist is hard-left Eddie who always loses.

If I didn’t know better I’d guess that BBC head honchos are taking avoiding action so as not to get the accusations of anti-semitism rightfully aimed at their good friends in the Labour Party. Has SirKeer had a word with them?

It’s pretty rich and cynical for an organisation that has bent over backwards for years to show Islam in only a positive light – as we on this site have noted many many times.

It is worth noting that the French currently don’t want anyone entering their country, but continue to send (illegal) migrants to our shores. If I was being cynical, I would say they are actively encouraging them or turning a blind eye. Never mind we are paying them lots of money to stop the illegals/ do the square root of naff all, as far as I can see.
Yes, in the spirit of goodwill to all men, women, trans, binary etc, etc illegals are still entering the country. Nine (men/boys) in my local port last week. Ferry crossings are virtually nil, even before the recent shutdown. It really is breathtaking incompetence, or is it ?

        Indeed, Taff.

What is sinister in my view is that our financial monolith of a national broadcaster has censored any positive view of Brexit. There are positives but never mentioned.

The BBC have created an environment that anyone who voted for Brexit was a knuckle dragging skinhead. It has continued to this day.

I think that this BBC propaganda has upset the Remainers. Remainers view themselves as intellectuals but were beaten by what they see as low life. I have heard many Remainers say that the vote should only be given to those who are intelligent…. 🙁

    Millwall accepts Sky Sport apology

tumbleweed at the bbc, the usual silence from an unbiased national broacaster

Millwall Football Club can confirm that it has held positive and progressive talks with Sky Sports following a comprehensive and detailed complaint regarding the broadcaster’s coverage of its fixture against QPR earlier this month.

In meetings mediated by The EFL, Sky Sports have acknowledged that certain elements of the coverage on the day, during their on-air discussion pre-match and the following day were not as fair and balanced as they should have been and have apologised.

The club has accepted that apology and considers this issue now closed. Millwall hopes for a more mutually beneficial relationship with Sky Sports moving forward.
